I did think about doing this chart like everyone was actually applicable to my tastes, but even if they were I think the ones I didn't put up would have to fall on the caress side bc I just don't feel that way abt them lol.

I’ve mentioned before how it’s cathartic for gepard to relinquish control but it’s also just as much so for him to fight someone who can match him blow for blow at the highest capacity of his strength. he may be a tiny bit of an adrenaline junkie beneath his decorous exterior but smth about facing and withstanding death over and over does that to you.

#the opponent could be armed #he’s very much a weapon in his own right if you let him go all out at full strength #even whilst sparring with the other guard he keeps himself in meticulous check #so that no one gets actually injured #ooc.

i need to change ameridan's stats from the default bc him having a -1 to intelligence is insulting honestly. he'll just have to be a little squishy

One of the funniest things about Omega is that while there's a lot of stories of "What if a weapon wanted to be more than just a weapon" Omega is essentially just "What if a gun wanted to be a gun" and somehow he ended up being on the good side of things.

#i . ooc .#The tags got so long just warning U now!#OK I know his appearance wasn't the longest but like. I'll never stop talking about him because he doesn't get enough credit? rip.#I know it's not really relevant any more because post-timeskip everyone is a lot better but. Referring to everyone's skill as of pre.#Reiner said Bertolt was the strongest of all of the shifters but he held himself back. He came 3rd without giving his all. Or really trying #I hc he held himself back to try not to let too much of his strength show bc people forget he had military training b4 joining the 104th.#And ofc. Also to not bring too much attention to himself bc of who he really is???#The way he mastered his Titan straight away and also has such a good handle on it.#Out of the 3 shifters he was the one that stayed true to the mission. Despite his reluctance he's got the strength and commitment.#People are so quick to say he relies on Reiner too much. And while he does at times. Reiner relies on him just as much if not more. Even if #Reiner doesn't realise it. Bertolt keeps him on track and has no one supporting him at all.#In COTT arc... U see him dodge Mikasa who is an Ackerman and seen as one of the strongest characters in the series...#And the same in RTS. Everyone gets too distracted by Mikasa to actually pay attention to how he dodges her 4 times?? Even tho she attacks #from behind? And the way he lands a hit on her. I just *screams*. I love how many times she tries to kill him. lol #How effective he is when he abandons his guilt and this is sort of irrelevant but. It's so special to me because as someone who is #a quiet person irl round people I don't know well. Who has it brought up a lot. I just adore when a character that remains in the #background just comes out and says enough is so hhhhh I know his reasons aren't good BUT RTS BERT... I don't think we talk enough about how badass it is that while in a 1960s asylum, Diego successfully escaped a straitjacket by forcibly dislocating his arm (ow), and picked the lock to his cell with a pen (?) he smuggled in despite being in massive pain and presumably high on the cocktail of drugs the nurses would have kept him on in order to keep him agreeable.

#thinking about the fact he had to have learned that as a kid #and the scene gets more horrifying with that knowledge #thinking about little diego struggling to get out of his binds while reginald impassively watches and tells him to figure it out #''number one has already broken out by sheer strength alone number two. if you do not find a way to free yourself #you will remain there until you can.''#and then diego breaks his arm trying to get out. and oh he gets out. with tears and snot and blood in his mouth from biting into his lip.#and his arm is screaming by the time he does it but the pride burning through hid chest is enough to make him grin through it.#he grins up at reginald like its one big fuck you but a tiny tiny bit of him hopes his unique escape will win him a little praise. a nod.#anything at all.#instead reginald just announces diego's time scribbles something down in his book and tells him he'll need to shave off four minutes.#in other words: disappointing.#diego cries privately about it later while grace tends to his arm in the infirmary and he punches luther before bed.#out of knives [ooc];
