Seen a lot of people say that they think after ii18 mephone4 would go have this or that job and this post isn't to put them down I'm just contributing my answer.

For a long while after the finale, mephone has nothing at all to do. Going back to meeple still makes them feel sick to their stomach, even if Cobs is now dead. The man who controlled it all now being no longer here doesn't mean that the memories and feelings aren't still there. So, they'd try something different. Maybe they could go to town and find something to do there, except that probably wouldn't work either. The public don't see mephone as who they are, the public just sees them as a product of meeple. Like how cobs sees them, but with some differences. To regular people, MePhone is just the property of some highly intelligent man who went missing. They wouldn't care enough and regardless I doubt anybody would be willing to give a literal robot a job. MePhone doesn't have any money either, and they lost all their generation abilities so they can't just make some on the spot. I do think that mephone going to try and mingle in with society would be bad not only for these reasons but also because things like drugs and alcohol and those kind of stuff aren't really a massive stretch for mephone, especially at their current state after the finale.

I don't know what else mephone would do. They'd probably be too terrified to go back to the contestants, not to mention they wouldn't want to trouble them with their presence after everything that happened. They also know that most wouldn't want to see them, and possibly think that none of them want to.

I might write a fic on this actually except most of the time I give up on my fics after like chapter 2. Oh well

going into the timkon tag is like foraging for berries and like 90% of them are definitely poisonous

you go into the timkon tag and automatically take area of effect poison damage just from the cloud of poison radiating off all of those berries. (ough. -1 hp) and then you foolishly linger (auh. -1 hp) in the area (hnrgh. -1 hp) because the few non-poisonous berries you can find here (ouch. -1 hp) are so so so sooo tasty and sweet and juicy. (ungh. -1 hp) and you're foraging but (hnhgh. -1 hp) the longer you spend around the poison berries (ouah. -1 hp) the more damage you take. (ourhgh. -1 hp) and maybe you DO find one really beautiful sweet delicious perfect berry (YIPPEE! +10 HP) but you Are still standing in a cloud of poison (hrgn. -1 hp)
