i've been sick since wednesday and i need it to END i hate being sick

im having a bit of a miserable time with the fish tank and i cannot figure out whats wrong with everyone!!!!! the shrimp losses were rough already but i think ive somewhat understood what happened (mixture of metals in our tap water/potentially copper treated plants/the ich medication) and ive just decided if these shrimp dont make it ill just not keep shrimp as my water permiters just dont suit but now ive noticed a few (2-3) of my kuhli loaches have fin problems with their pectorals degrading down to just nubs (literally when did this happen) but otherwise seemhappy and active so im treating the whole tank for finrot (i dont know how many loaches have it and it would be a nightmare to try and isolate them) and today i noticed one of the two german blue rams has just completely declined shes just sat on the bottom of the tank in the back corner not really doing anything :(!!!! i dont know whats happened!!
sucks cause like ive done so much research for these guys it feels a little miserable not knowing what the problem is and just seeing problems crop up out of nowhere
#I dont think its ammonia problems#ive tested the water and added additional filtration to help if it IS ammonia spikes#but nobody else seems to be declining in this way#i think maybe that blue ram was unhappy to begin with#she was SUPER aggressive to the other ram and my tetras and then just went super docile#so idk if she was already unwell#my other ram is totally fine other than injuries he arrived with#and my ember tetras are literally so fine those guys seem indesctructable#the otos are also TOTALLY fine theyre active and happy??#so idk if this is a case of Fish Just Dying in the way that they do#but idk it just sucks it feels upsetting and frustrating and a little mortifying#i thought i was doing a good job :(((((((#makes me want to just donate all the fish and give up a little#it will be okay i suspect we are going to lose this ram cause i for real cannot figure out what might be the problem#and shes really unresponsibe#oughhhhghgh#every time i read more info and look more into it i find everyone saying my water permaters are fine and everything should be fine#i double checked my tank capacity just in case#and its like pushing the limit but my filter is quite strong and i havent had ammonia problems before#idk#i just hate to be the reason animals are suffering#tw animal death#cw animal death#<- just in case#sorry for the rant :(!#vent#personal
