That Canadian Red is indeed beautiful!

Did you know that the Canadian Red used was sort of VR's nod to the LMS's Crimson livery? It was used until the Clapp era made most of the locos funereal black.

The last withdrawn locomotive for VR was A² 986; a survivor who was modded every conceivable away, who has been preserved and still runs today for Steam Rail.
