What if Emma can’t go because of some pregnancy reason, and they find a way to loop time so that Killian can go help Henry, for however long it takes, and when it’s all done, he can return to a few minutes before he left. 

That way Emma never has to be alone.

I had planned to watch this season, so this episode or the fate of CS doesn’t really change that. I was never invested in CS (sorry!), so a romantic partner-less Killian was always of interest to me for this season. I guess I’m good with former faux buffoon Killian being the main Killian now, but I kind of wish he’d been less buffoony in the Wish Realm (because I was not terribly fond of the WR) to make this transition a little more... je ne sais quoi... understandable? Believable? Compelling? 

Naturally I’m curious who his daughter is and her mother (holy smokes don’t make it friggin’ Lady Tremaine--you know it will be), and I hope they do his backstory justice in a way that they completely managed to fuck up (in my opinion) in seasons 5 & 6. I will say that I might be more upset that there may be no more foetp between Hook & Rumple than anything else. I mean, they can be bffs, but I’ll forever miss the antagonism of 300 years of hatred. I’m willing to see where it goes though. Sniff... Also, I hope the Jolly Roger shows up or I may have to rescind any good will toward this Hook. LOL

When it comes down to it though, I really just want to see Colin get to stretch himself in any direction that will result in him getting better roles offered. So if this season can do that for him, that’ll be fantastic and I’m here to support that.

Reading your thoughts on CS’ happy ending is like a breath of fresh air. Sometimes I think when you’re invested in something it’s really easy to get caught up in the smallest details and become the worst critic, obsessing over what did and what did not happen, etc. but at the end of the day we got to see them go off and live happily ever after, married, madly in love and pregnant. How many couples on tv shows get to have all of this? Not many. I’m definitely grateful for what we got.

(Cont) I was ecstatic when we found out Emma was pregnant but it felt tainted and I couldn’t enjoy it because of the amount of anger and complaining on here and Twitter. Emma got the most beautiful happy ending and she’s my favorite character. I had been waiting for that moment for 6 years but I felt like I couldn’t even enjoy it bc of everyone yelling about how dissatisfied they were. I’m just glad there’s people on here that can see the bigger picture, so thank you

You’re welcome. You’re exactly right when you wonder how many couples on TV get this. (Though I feel like we should have a talk about curating your social media consumption to improve your fandom experience.)

Very few ships are even canon, let alone get the full compliment of slow burn goodness, staying together, and hitting the important milestones. Lucky CS shippers got all that, we got to watch them go from enemies to allies to friends to lovers, we actually watched them fall in love and witnessed their first kiss and their first hug, we went along on the first date, we watched the proposal(s) and attended the wedding, plus we got so many great heartfelt lines and countless declarations of love  (“It’s you” might be my favorite) that it was almost like they were challenging themselves to figure out how many ways they could say ‘I love you’ before they said ‘I love you.’

And don’t even get me started on how pretty it all was. First you start with Jen and Colin who are gorgeous. Then since it was a fairy tale we got all sorts of next level imagery like our OTP galloping through a meadow on horseback and then kissing in a field of middlemists complete with overhead jib shot. They waltzed at balls and actually sailed a ship and fired a cannon together.  We saw our OTP’s names engraved not only on the most famous sword of all time, but on the actual holy grail, they were confirmed true love by a test from the Gods and blessed by Zeus himself. It was proven by action that each would go to the end of the world, or time for the other, not even death stopping them.  Then, to top it all off, their wedding was an actual musical where they got to sing a joyful song full of hope and happiness to each other.

I can’t imagine not being able to appreciate the beautiful journey we’ve witnessed or not being grateful for the joyous happy beginning they’ve been left with. Sure, there are lots of things many of us would have done differently, however Captain Swan is unparalleled and unmatched and it’s a lot more fun to think about that.

The more I think about it, the more I’m okay with it.

All I’ve ever wanted for Emma was to be happy and she is. She truly is. She has her parents, she has her son, she has her friends and the town of Storybrooke. She has a husband who loves and adores her, they’re having a baby. 

She got her second chance. Something she probably never thought she’d have after all that she’s been through. She deserves this more than anyone. And plus, no Regina in SB to be a bitch, so yeah I think Emma Swan - Jones is gonna be a-okay.
