funsace contour palette (8/10) - nabili ko lang siya for only 80pesos. i only like the two highlighters pero yung contour di bagay sakin.

pinkflash ohmylove multiple eyeshadow, shade 02 (10/10) - maganda yung pigment niya. i like the shimmer shades. di ko lang masyado magamit palagi kasi more on pink shades siya so di siya pwede for simple look. plus, this palette has highlighter, 2 shades of blush and also a contour. the price of this palette is 209 but i bought for only 50php. what a great steal!

funsace blush palette (9/10) - my most used powder blush. same price lang sa contour palette. di na ako bumibili ng ibang powder blush dahil dito pa lang, okay na ako. long lasting din siya.

otwoo lenghtening (8/10) and volumizing mascara (9/10) - perfect dupe for maybelline skyhigh. waterproof and smudgeproof silang dalawa. i just don't like the lenghtening kasi para siyang dry and a little bit clumpy. pero promise, if you use both of this otwoo mascara, you'll get a long lashes effect (huy, hindi yung bonggang haba ha)

otwoo blush shade 06 (nasa middle ng mascaras) (100/10) - the only cream blush that i love. ang ganda niya kahit oily ako. the only pink shade that suits my skin. hindi siya yung pakak na pink, parang kinilig ka lang.

maybelline fit me concealer (25) and skintint (05) (utang ng pilipinas/10) - if wala ka pa nitong skintint, bilhin mo na. it has a light-medium coverage and may spf na din. ginagawa ko siyang sunscreen. sa concealer naman, maganda siya for dark circles.

squad cosmetic melon mist (7.5/10) - idk, sabi ng mga nakatry nito it does hold the makeup kahit oily skin pero when i tried it, nahulas agad ako wala pang 2hrs. it's moisturizing naman, but i don't recommend using this after applying makeup kasi matatanggal siya. and what i don't like about it this mist, wala siyang expiration date na nakalagay.

gorgeous glow my pink serum (7.5/10), kjm cosmetics liptint (9/10) - if you're always on tiktok, you'll know this serum was a trend. ayoko sa dark lips ko and i have seen many reviews about this serum na nakakalighten daw talaga siya ng lips. i bought it when it was on sale and bi, habang tumatagal lalong nagddry yung lips ko. the shade was too pink din. and i don't find this moisturizing. the kjm liptint naman was a hype back then esp. the shade bittersweet magenta. sobrang ganda naman talaga ng shade and perfect for everyday use pero di siya nagsstay sa middle ng lips ko. parang if i put my lips together to spread the tint, natatanggal siya so i have to reapply then patutuyuin ko siya the apply ulit. di din siya long lasting. pero the shade, binabalik balikan talaga.

careline brow pencil shadebrunette (buhok ko/10) - this is indeed my holy grail when it comes to brows! alam ko madaming magagandang eyebrow product out there pero iba pa din talaga ang careline best brow. ang natural niyang tignan and buildable din. iykyk

focallure airy matte tint shade 202 (9.5/10) - perfect na sana kung di lang mapait yung lasa niya. long lasting siya, not gonna lie and the perfect 202 is my mlbb. it is powdert finish pero di yung powdery na uncomfortable. sana mabago nila yung taste ng tint lol

blk blush shade daffodil (8/10) - di bagay sakin yung shade pero if maputi ka, then you should try this. the applictor is doe foot and it is multi-use. kaso ang downside lang sa kanya ay messy yung packaging so if dadalhin mo siya dapat nakatayo. a little goes a long way sa product na 'to, dapat marunong ka magcontrol or else magmumukha kang sassa girl

Eye Primers

O.TWO.O Ultimate Cooling Eye Primer (#01 Natural?) - When I bought this only one color available, but it looks like they came out with three more shades so that's nice. Keep in mind this is a Chinese brand so this is four shades of East Asian. But hey, no one just wears an eye base without any eyeshadow over it so I'll let it slide. It comes in a pot and I find you need to warm it up a bit before it gets nice and creamy but by no means is it hard to work with. I've never tried using a sponge or brush with (smearing makeup on with your fingers gang) so your guess as to how it behaves that way is as good as mine. Is it actually a good eye primer? ...Dude I just use it because I have it and I've been into minimal, neutral eyeshadow looks. Probably? I see a difference but I don't know if it's as big as a difference as other primers on the market. I mix it with my concealer and it looks good enough for me and helps that shit stick. O.TWO.O as a brand reminds me of OUTOFOFFICE, which is another Chinese makeup brand but that's just on name alone, I don't know if they're actually trying to dupe anything. They have their own website but just buy it on Aliexpress lol they have an official store there with a lot more products.

Focallure Stay With Me Eyeshadow Primer - ngl I just got this in case O.TWO.O decided to act up like Milk did or I decide I don't want to use any pot products that day. It's also in a nude shade.

2023 Makeup Collection

The worst of my impulse purchases have arrived so I think this is a good time to round up the products and see what I have, what I like, what I don't like, what I've been neglecting, etc. I don't want to do project pan since I only leave the house like two or three times a week (but only for like. Things that don't matter. Who's getting ready to go to the fucking supermarket for 15 minutes) so it would just be me setting myself up for disappointment and that's no fun. How about this; I'll set some small, realistic goals for the year for some products and we'll see what happens. Swatches later maybe

Face Primers

Kose Suncut Water in UV Protect Essence SPF 50+ PA++++ - Yes this is technically a sunscreen but it also doubles as a makeup primer! This is the second primer sunscreen hybrid I've used (the first being Kao Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence which I also like and feels similar to this one). It's no longer available on YesStyle, which is where I get the majority of k and j beauty products, so that kind of sucks but I like trying out new products anyways. It feels hydrating but not heavy and absorbs into the skin not immediately but like. After a reasonable amount of time considering I slather a good amount of this all over my face and neck. No problems with laying foundation over it, no strong fragrance, no whitecast, the color isn't the stark white nightmare from my childhood, and while it doesn't completely smooth out my problem areas like the T zone or my cheeks (to be fair that's where all my large pores and acne are), it leaves the rest of my skin nice. This is my only sunscreen so obviously I'm going to use it until I either run out or it goes bad.

Milk Makeup Blur Stick - Hm. I used to really love this. It's easy to apply, glides smoothly, and leaves a nice velvet finish. Maybe there's a layer of grease that's built up over time (I should,,,, sanitize it regardless let's be honest) but I find it pilling in the more dehydrated nooks and crannies of my nose and over the textured parts of my skin. It's fine if I apply it on a flat and clear section but my acne is not taking it well. Can't say I recommend it if your face is a slice of pepperoni pizza like mine, but I will still be keeping it only to use on the outside of my face as I'm an incredibly oily and sweaty person and I find this keeps unwanted moisture from seeping out. It doesn't feel drying on the skin but it does feel dry so let's hope I can avoid two summers ago when my makeup melted off my face and sweat dripped from my hair down my forehead making it look like I just got out of the water. I was taking a leisurely walk downtown. I found the full size at a Marshall's for much cheaper so if you're paying full price for this you are an absolute clown. I did find it a couple of years ago so I doubt there's still any more left (plus it seems like Milk is paying more attention to their other primers) but at the very least, don't get the full size if you're a casual makeup wearer. Or do whatever you want I'm not your mom. I want to flatten the initial mound of product completely and start having to twist it up since holy shit I've had this since the 10th grade

Touch in Sol No Poreblem Primer - Oh my god this is my favorite primer so far. It does what the Milk used to do for me before it decided flaky skin was the look and lays beautifully over my large pores, acne, and weird patch on the side of my nose that for some reason decided to be a problem one day. I don't think acne scarring to blame but who knows at this point. It's more hydrating and a thinner consistency than the blur stick and doesn't have that balmy feel as it's a liquid, my nose looks and feels fine with it under foundation and powder, 10/10 I will use this until it's dead. I am not even rating these that's how you know I love this. If you see this at a Marshall's turn the other eye and leave that shit for me. There's a green one for redness I was also going to buy but decided against it specifically because the line was too long lol.

The Face Shop Air Cotton Makeup Base SPF30 PA++ (#01 Mint) - I got this for my "boy" makeup days where I want to look perfected but not actually done up. Haven't gotten around to using it since I got it pretty recently and been on a full color correcting kick nowadays. But sometimes I want to be a "yeah I have blemishes, what of it" kind of girl but also do I need to look like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer meeting up to gossip with my friend group???? No.

AOA Single Pressed Eyeshadow (Starlet, Sagittarius, Margot & Powder) - Magnetic pans of eyeshadow, pressed softly than I'm used to so the pigment is easier to pick up but there's some kickback.

ETUDE Look At My Eyes (BR422, BR407, PK007, BR415, BR416, & BE104) - I like Etude's formula (at least for the singles) and the heart embossing is cute. You can't get these anymore I don't think, I know they still sell some single shadows but not these specific ones. Pretty much all of them are shimmers to varying degrees, which is typical for kbeauty. I am not a warm browns or all over shimmer person so I really lost my way getting these. I had more too but have since decluttered them.

O.TWO.O Eyeshadow (NO.01-1, NO.01-3, NO.01-4, NO.01-5, NO.01-6, NO.01-7, NO.01-8, & NO.01-9) - No, there's no NO.01-2. Yeah, that fucked me up the first time too. These are labeled as trial shadows so the pans are smaller than the standard but if you have a problem with buying a lot of eyeshadow like me, it might be a blessing in disguise. A mix of basic mattes and shimmers, they run pretty light but feel nice and smooth. The entire set is like $3 on Aliexpress, you can buy them seperately but like why would you (unless you're buying a replacement shade)

e.l.f. Cosmetics No Budge Shadow Stick (Perfect Pearl) - Technically an eyeshadow stick, I think this will get more use as a highlight for me. Shouldn't this be in the highlighter section then? No, because when I say this will see use as a highlighter, I mean an aegyo sal highlighter paired with a corresponding eye look, I am still very much a matte girl (not a girl) otherwise.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Cookies 'N Dreams No Budge Eyeshadow (Midnight Milkshake) - A black with some glitter. The tip of mine got smashed since again, elf really just throws everything in there and hopes for the best. I really wanted the other three colors but they're like, for sure discontinued now. Plus, even if they weren't I wouldn't pay full price to begin with (not because I don't think they're worth the price but because I am cheap).

e.l.f. Cosmetics Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow (Disco Queen, Pinky Swear, & Flirty Birdy) - Stila got me fucked up if they think I'm actually going to spend $25 on a single liquid shadow that will most certainly completely dry out before I even make a dent in it. Don't get me wrong, I do like Stila, I have Stila products and I love them to bits, but not enough to pay full price for a single item.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow (Ladybird) - Gotta be a cult classic for a reason. I don't want this to dry out so I haven't opened it yet. A good shade for glittery douyin looks I think.
