It seems like @lurkingshan has tagged me to unveil all the skeletons in my fandom closet so let's go and dig them up! Word of warning, I had very patchy media access up until my 20s (I could watch about 5ish things on TV and one of them was the news) so some of my ships are uh, niche.

1. What ship were you completely obsessed with when you were a teenager, but now you don't care anymore?

Damon and Elena from The Vampire Diaries. I had such a weird relationship with this show given that I couldn't actually watch the actual episodes and instead had to watch the curated shipping clip compilations but yeah, I was very into these two for most of my teen years. Now my tastes have changed drastically and I'm no longer into this couple or the show so.....

2. Which ship do you consider your first one?

I was going to say Percy and Annabeth but then I remembered Luke and Maria from The Sarah Jane Adventures. Admittedly a very niche couple but they're the first time I can remember coming across a pairing on screen and going "They Are More Than Friends I Must Find More". Unfortunately there wasn't much more to find but I still think their relationship was cute.

3. Your first fanfic belonged to which couple?

Another niche couple but Ruth and Jay from Casualty. There wasn't much but I poured over the 10ish fics I could find and frequently checked if there was anything new for them on FF.net or wherever it is I'd managed to find them.

Damn I want to go rewatch their scenes again, I wonder if the compilations are still on Youtube?

4. Do you remember the first couple you saw a fan art over?

I don't remember the first couple I saw Fanart for but I can tell you the first Fanart I remember coming across and that was Percy Jackson. There is a particular style popular among fanartist for the series and I loved it then and I still love it now.

5. Did you ever get into ship discourse?

Only with friends haha. I think the first time I can properly remember having a discussion with people about a ship was the Peeta/Katniss/Gale triangle, I spent a lot of time ranting to my poor friends that of course it was going to end up being Peeta and Katniss because they fit the "Final Couple of a Teen Lit Romance" pattern down to a tee so rooting for Gale was useless (I was very pleased to be proven right, my pattern theory was just starting out back then).

6. Did you have any no-otp or have it currently?

I won't lie, I used to really struggle with ships that broke up canon ships. Like really, really struggle. I knew then and I recognise even more now that this was linked to my own issues with being overly loyal to just about anything but yeah, I couldn't cope with non-canon ships that broke up the canon ships, even if I didn't like the canon ships.

In regards to specific ships? Anything involving Hermione (none of the men were good enough for her in teen me's opinion).

7. Who were the couple in the last fanfic you read?

..... Ummm Erestor/Glorfindel anyone?

8. Currently, do you have any OTPs?

As @lurkingshan said in her own post, OTPs are eternal. My first OTP was probably Percy and Annabeth and I'd still fight monsters for them. More recent additions to the pack are Andrea and Gyeol-Wool from Hospital Playlist and Uea and King from Bed Friends.

9. Is there any couple that, to this day, you are extremely mad about not getting together?

MARIA AND BLOODY LUKE 😤

In all seriousness, none spring to mind but only because I tend to blot these things from my memory.

10. Is there any ship you used to dislike but now you think they are kind of interesting?

I may have the memory of a sieve for couples I dislike but I also hold grudges against storytelling wrongs so probably not, if I didn't like them then it's likely I still don't like them.

11. Do you have any ship that, in the past, was considered normal but now you would be cancelled over.

I'm going to continue the Brian and Justin trend here because I'm sure many people would be uncomfortable with the age gap now but, as Shan puts it best, "women in queer spaces often struggle to account for the totally different culture and power dynamics between m/m pairings".

12. What was your favourite crack ship?

I don't really do crack ships but I often think about the fact that, somewhere out there on the internet, there is a fanfic about Snape and a teletubby. I've never read it, I don't want to, but the thought does make me giggle (perhaps slightly nervously, I'm not sure).

13. Who is the couple you read more fanfics of?

I tend to go in both fads and cycles so it'll be a mix of fanfic linked to what I'm currently watching/reading (if it seems ficable) and pairings whose fics I know I'll enjoy. That being said I did once get so deep into Stucky that I obsessively researched life in inter-war New York so quite possibly them.

14. What do most of your ships have in common?

I wouldn't say I have a specific type of ship that I like but I am a total sucker for ships where it feels like they help each other become better people, both in little things and in the big things.

15. What do you absolutely hate in a ship?

When I don't understand why they're together.

Who puts items on the lowest shelf possible to make the other bend over? i want to say horndog grace but she is attracted to his violence and dominance. i feel like she’d place certain items that she doesn’t use *just* too high up so he has to jump or his shirt lifts, but nothing she needs bc that makes her reliant on him and she doesn’t want that.

Who has the the other as a background on their phone? max from like a month into their relationship, grace has a wedding photo as one (the other is still a Bible verse)

Who drunkenly tries to fight a bush? max.

Who leaves cute post-it notes for the other? i don’t think this is either of their vibes

Who falls asleep on the other? max generally, but grace has a couple of times

Who sneaks in candy to the movies? max (“they have it at the counter!” “and it’s overpriced. you told me to ask what would Jesus do…”)

Who sneaks up behind the other and kisses their neck? i don’t think either of them would like being surprised like that honestly!!

Who is the first to bring up marriage? grace, but max is onboard

Who suggests “Netflix and Chill” only to fall asleep before the Chill part? i’m going to be so fr, even in marriage/unraveling her views around sex, i can’t imagine grace setting up a netflix and chill scenario

Who pays for the dates? they either split it or alternate. max initially offers because that’s who he thinks he should be in their relationship, but grace (to me) is pretty egalitarian

Who pulls the other into the closet for a quickie? both, but grace does it more frequently

Who gets overly invested in reality tv shows? i hc max watches reality tv with his siblings

Who fakes being married to get into the other’s hospital room? max. grace cannot lie that well she’ll just break in

Who burnt dinner after having a dance party while cooking? idk if these two Wouldge

Who makes the coffee in the morning so the other can sleep a bit long? grace

Also! I feel I need to remind people that this is a multishipping blog. Sure, I have otps. But this is still very much a multiship blog. Especially throughout the eras. Reminder that he is a closeted bisexual. That homosexual relationships will in fact be a little harder to obtain. ( memes don't quite count, considering most of the time they are " what if " scenarios ) Even harder if you are , in his eyes , a monster. But his approach on same sex relationships are very closeted. Especially concerning the era in which he is originally from.

wip wednesday -- aot, marley arc

a/n: alas... the brainworms have returned. thanks to @lunarcrystal's vc!Annie AU. this scene in-progress takes place in medias res from the post-canon ereannie au I'm working on. it's technically a soft reboot of a chapter (or several) from the 30 days OTP challenge that was in need of trimming.

She rapped on the door of the flat and waited around a minute for an answer. "Oi, Krueger," she barked.

Could be asleep. Or simply out on an errand. It wouldn't kill her to ask around the tenement, or make her rounds. She got enough shit from her Warrior colleagues wasting her time down here in Liberio's slums. Asking too many neighbors would give him reason to lie low.

She detected movement on the other side. She stepped aside in turn as the door opened.

He wasn't wearing any bandages this time. His left eye bore a perforated scar down the cornea. He blinked, then his brow creased. "Vice-Commander." She could smell the alcohol on him. "Come back to say hello?"

"I just wanted to see if you had drunk yourself to death."

"Not today. I wouldn't mind the company though." Annie deliberated. On the one hand, it didn't exactly behoove her to humour the enemy outright. "Stay a while," said Eren coolly, pushing the door a little wider with his shoulder. "Gets boring talking to the wall all day."

His good eye dug into her. She stepped through the door.

The kitchen decently-kept. A few dishes on the table the remains of a meal. The Liberio tenements didn’t have running water or electricity, so the wood stove in the center of the room was the only source of heat in winter. The half-empty bottle of alcohol on the table, glittering in the sunlight.

“You’ll have to excuse the mess,” Eren muttered. “Wasn’t expecting anyone.”

She side-eyed him. “No friends?” He shook his head. “Women?”

He paused, squaring his shoulders. “No, ma’am.” If she could see his ears they’d be pink. He gestured toward the threshold. “You’ll want to see the other rooms?”

“Lead the way.”

He was so tall, even on crutches, that he had to bend down to clear the doorway into the next room.

There was a bed against the wall. Not much furniture to speak of beyond a beat-up wardrobe and a closet. If he were writing regularly to an outside party he’d keep the letters someplace clandestine. She walked the length of the room in a few paces. A light breeze shifted the curtains in front of the only window in the room, cracked open. Eren was leaning against the doorframe. On her feet, she came up to his breastbone.

“I need to look at the dresser and wardrobe.”

Eren shrugged. “All right.”

The wardrobe had only a few ratty suits and a pair of boots, bottle of shoeshine. In front of the dresser she got down on her knees to rifle through a few shirts, rolled-up pairs of pants, old socks. The linen smelled faintly of mold. She shut the drawer and said in a tight voice, “The mattress, then.”

“It’s pretty heavy. I can help you.”

She ignored him. Walked over to the other side of the room with the window behind her, and lifted. The light of day revealing the underside of a decrepit mattress. Her jaw grit. She let it fall. She’d need a warrant to tear his room apart, even in the slums of Liberio. 

“Terrible, isn’t it? I’d burn it now if I were able to afford a new one.”

Annie stormed into the kitchen, ignoring his protest. She grabbed the bottle on the table and took a deep pull. Lukewarm. Probably been out all morning. It burned her throat on the way down and she stifled a cough into her arm, eyes watering.

“Rough day?” called Eren from the threshold.

“You’re sick,” she hissed. “Grice is too naïve to understand what kind of monster you are.”

“I don’t mean him any harm. Nor you.” He glanced down at his leg. “I can’t transform.”

The alcohol went to her head. Dropping her guard, no better than handing him the knife. “How long will you be staying in Liberio?”

“Only ‘til the festival.”

His voice neutral. Enemies did not look at each other the way he always had. She always told herself the next time they spoke would be to the other’s grave. How simple it was, for him to rebel. He made it his prerogative. Each time, he found a way to reappear and make everything worse. He only saw her cool veneer, never the itch in her blood close to jealousy. The war would be over within the year. Paradis would be destroyed with impunity.

“You don’t look drunk,” said Annie.

“The clerk at the general store calls me a heavyweight drinker,” Eren answered, shifting his weight on his good leg. “I guess that’s true.”

Her image reflected in his working eye, drowning in his desolation. This hunger shared between them. Four years of cold, unsympathetic truths turned the outspoken idealist into a man half-dead. His conviction sucked the life from him. The same vacancy she saw in Braun’s eyes, when he thought he was alone. Annie licked her lips, in a silent battle with herself over what to say. The responsible thing to do. The silence between them so charged a knife couldn’t cut it.

She let her head fall forward, colliding harmlessly into his chest. Kicking out his leg, he crumpled to meet the floor. She was on top of him, fists in his shirt. Breathing hard, despite the lack of exertion. Eren stared at her, wide-eyed. Sober, there would be no excuse for this conduct. Tenderness would not win a war. Sympathies reserved for the civilians who read about the atrocities overseas in the comfort of their homes. In his place, she’d wrap his hands around the traitor’s throat and squeeze the life from her.

Instead, leaning down to press her mouth to his, biting his lip. He groaned, coming to life beneath her.

The world shifted on its axis. Her back met the floor. Eren, bracing on his elbows, took her face in his hands and crushed his mouth to hers with the rapacious fever of a man ready to die. Threading fingers through his unkempt hair, her tongue slashed against his teeth. He grabbed her jaw with fingers, sliding his tongue into her mouth. They could only get so close without inevitably devouring each other.

"Annie," he whispered, stealing another kiss, then another, until her head was spinning. "Annie." Her name was a confession. An apology. Every second spent inert was wasted. He pulled back, his hair a curtain around her face. “This your plan?” With his forehead to hers, his working eye and the perforated one, she cupped his face. “No.”

Now I have to ask this out of curiosity - what would it be like if Hollina, Thraxette and Charmine sat together at a table at, lets say, a wedding or some social event where theyre forced to be? I'm sure each would think "we're the most normal couple here" or something like that. I can imagine an exchange betwern Jasmine and Odette going "I've been shackled to this dummy, whats your excuse for dating a literal monster?" "Well at least he's got a brain in there" "how DARE you!!! No one insults Henry but me!!" And lina trying to calm them down and holli going "no, no, i want to see this"

Sorry this took so long to answer. I wanted to spend some time writing this... thing I wound up writing 😂 I've never done a POV YOU type of writing before, so I hope I managed to make it entertaining 🤣

You're at an annual convention for the ships and OTPs of AiraSora, a (non)Disney crossover editor and fanfiction authors. You see mostly Disney characters, but also characters from similar animation. Some take up a lot of space at the convention and others are out in the corners. The ones in the corners are ships AiraSora only shipped for a short time or have almost forgotten she used to ship. Most of them are human, but there are one or two anthros and one ship that looks like a fox and some yellow jungle animal that kinda looks like a bear... but you instinctively know it's not a bear.

In the middle of the room are the biggest ships aka the OTPs. It's ships Aira has shipped for a long time or only for a little while, but still intensely nevertheless.

The main table of OTPs consists of Hollina, Thraxette, Charmine and Sinric: the big 4. Close to them are Fresme, Rolfmaine, Bakerhood, Jariel Porkins and Tareek along with a few ships from the same franchise, one of them being two blonde kids from a kids show and another from an adult cartoon show with an imp and an owl. The two others are from an anime with a cat girl and an alien with pigtails and lastly, one also from an adult cartoon with a fat, racist kid with a Jewish redhead.

You sneak between the outer circle of AiraSora's OTPs, ignoring the imp and owl making out like there's no tomorrow and the kids both from the child's cartoon and adult cartoon fighting amongst themselves. The anime couple are surprisingly quiet compared to the others, but something tells you it's because the girl is mortified by her position while the alien is enjoying every second sitting next to her.

Curious how The Tetralogy get along, you get close enough to overhear their conversation:

"So, how did AiraSora start shipping you all?" Thumbelina, mostly referred to as Lina by AiraSora, asks the group. "Holli and I met by chance when Aira made a video where she cast us as a hardcore lesbian and a shy, closeted girl. She started shipping us after that."

Holli laughs: "No shit. She's made 50 videos just with us. If this was a contest we'd win."

"Oh, I don't know about that." Thrax interferes and pulls Odette further up on his lap. "Aira might have shipped you two specifically for longer, but she's shipped OUR dynamic since she was 12! Kishigo over there is just another version of us."

Looking over your shoulder, you see the anime couple. It's not just their dynamic that's similar. You'd argue Ichigo also canonically chose a boy who was dull as dirt, much like Odette did with Derek in her movie.

"She might not have shipped us for as long as you have." Jasmine interfered. "But we got a lot of attention when she first started making videos of us. Our first video on her TikTok is her most watched video of all time. Right now, we have almost 900k views!"

Sinbad laughs: "Yeah, your video is also the one with the most hate on it. The video with Eric and me--"

"Has only 3 comments, one that's about Ariel, another that's just tagging two other people and the last is just some emojis." Odette interrupts with a smirk.

"She's only shipped us for 2 months and we're already sitting with you guys. That says a lot." Eric argues and lifts a fist to which Sinbad bumps.

"She's shipped us for over 6 years!" Lina says as she leans on Holli's shoulder. "And we're still going strong. We have the most AUs, stories, videos and she has a whole document just with ideas for us--"

"And when was the last time she made a video with you two?" Jasmine interrupts, smirking. The girls are silent. "That's what I thought. Some people also got really sick of you."

"That's not our fault. It was just overexposure." Holli says to which Lina nods. "You can't blame Aira for being addicted to a couple as likeable as us."

Eric and Sinbad snort. "Sure, but we have received no hate at all yet. And we're a gay ship, so even Aira was positively surprised."

"You get no hate because you're boring." Odette insists. "Your angst is just cause you're gay. My and Thrax' angst though has more layers than ogres do."

"You're also her most toxic ship ever. And she ships Fresme!" Christopher argues and points Frollo and Esmeralda. Frollo is currently, literally, chasing Esmeralda through the room who has a giant smile on her face.

"I WILL GET YOUR ASS!" Frollo yells, not remotely out of breath despite being older than the hellfire that claimed him.

The Tetralogy shiver for a second at the display, but then turn their attention to each other again.

"People love some angst, pretty boy. I don't know what to tell you." Thrax chuckles, sneaking his entire arm around Odette's torso as if afraid she'd try to run off.

"We got angst!" Christopher insists and starts rambling. "What's more angsty than a couple who are clearly meant to be together, but don't get along at first because society is trying to force them together, but then they have to try and fall in love on their own and--"

"Oh, please." Sinbad groans. "You're every 90s RomCom. They always start out hating each other and then magically fall in love."

"Oh, like you and Marina?" Holli asks.

"Nuh-uh. Don't bring canon into this."

"Agreed." Odette sighs, getting a head pat from Thrax.

"At least OUR relationship is based off love and respect." Jasmine says. "What's your excuse for dating a literal monster, Odette?"

"At least mine is hot and has a brain!"

"How dare you! Only I get to insult Kit like that--"

"Um, I think Aira ships us all equally in her own way. There'd no need to fight--" Lina tries to interrupt, but Holli grabs her and brings her back down to her chair.

"Shhh, babe. I want to see this."

"Wait, didn't Aira ship you two at some point?" Eric asks, pointing at Christopher and Odette.

"Briefly. This was before she made Thraxette." Lina explains.

"Yeah, and she only shipped them because she thinks both of them married beneath them in canon."

The Tetralogy look up at you, finally noticing your presence.

"But nothing of that changes that you eight are the Top OTPs for Aira right now. Yeah, some of you have been here longer and some of you are more popular in the fandom than others, but she loves you all for different reasons. And you've helped her shape her story telling and kept inspiring her to create more stories and challenging her. That's something you all have in common. Sure, you all might not stay part of the Tetralogy because people change. But that doesn't erase all the happy memories she's already made with you. And she's not done with any of you yet. There's plenty of angst, sadness, comedy and happiness she can make with all of you."

The Tetralogy smile at each other, realizing you're right.

"Oh, another thing. This is a really weird way of letting you guys know this, buuuut Aira has been trying to find a way to tell you guys about this headcanon, and she hasn't found anything yet, so she's just gonna make me tell you... Christopher and Eric are brothers. OK, bye!"

And with that piece of random information thrown at them, you turn around and leave The Tetralogy to discuss what the hell all of this was even about. And how a random anonymous ask on tumblr resulted in all of this.

Brotp: Ever since the Star Wars special, I’ve loved him in a trio with Candace and Buford.

Head Canon: Baljeet’s family curse with tigers comes from when his ancestors imprisoned a tiger demon. Baljeet is so scared of tigers that he often imagines that monsters in closets and under beds look like tigers.

Unpopular opinion: I like Baljeet and Buford as friends more than as a couple. Not that I don’t like the ship, I do—especially when they’re older. In fact, I find Bujeet (Balford?) to be one of the most interesting pairings. It’s just if I have to choose, I’ll take the frenemies route over the enemies to lovers one.

A wish: We get to see him and Buford team up with Candace more. (As stated, their dynamic has potential.)

An oh-god-please-don't-ever-happen: Can’t think of anything.

3. It’s movie night, what movies are they gonna watch together?

Despite Prax’s best efforts to not be arrogant about it, he does get a glow of pride whenever Noe suggests they watch something he’s been involved with. But that’s not always the case either - the Allison animated movies have been the subject of more than one marathon. 

7. How do they celebrate Halloween? 

Nine times out of ten, with giving out half the candy for trick or treaters and scoffing the rest. When it’s a full moon, Noe does his thing, and thus Prax just puts it all in a bowl.

One year there’s a really bad rash of tricks involving stealing everyone else’s candy played on all the residents in the place where they live, but no one can tell who’s doing it; so the next year, to curtail it, Prax puts out a lucky dip of candy, a kind of ‘get the good stuff and avoid the contaminated ones’ sort of thing, without saying that Noe contaminated ALL the candy with a particular dye. The culprit’s literally all purple at school the next day, and the adults ground them for a week

15. Who causes the tomfoolery and who has to try and stop the tomfoolery?

Noe’s usually bottom if that’s what you mean. *points to straight couple* Which one of you causes the tomfo

New Ghoul at School 7/10 pretty much pilot episode for the web series and commercial for the dolls itself ( all the movies are just one long commercial btw) It's as highschool introduction you gonna get. Tho it's wild everyone got mad at Frankie trying have Deuce as her bf when nobody told her he's Cleo's boo( pun not intended)

Fright on 7/10. I NEVER seen this cover before but the "movie" is in 2d form. Also kinda fruity they put Clawdeen and Draculaura on the cover lol. I want say the artists were trying covers out before going full 3d for the next round of movies. Anyway the ghouls tackle racism/prejudice.

Why do Ghouls fall in love 7/10. Official first 3d monster high movie. Cute movie despite the typical highschool cliches. CA Cupid design still a fav ( wild she got transferred to Ever after high but oh well) I realized there's couple of Draculaura centric movies hmm might explained why she became face for reboot. Also Val was suppose be closet gay but you know how Mattel be.

Escape from Skull shores 6/10 I don't remember much from the movie expect it's Frankie centric and it's King Kong type movie. The girls swimsuits were very cute tho. Also realized they literally cut and dye their hair and when back at school they in their default design lol. Anything for the aesthetic. The 2022 reboot better ot disappoint fashion wise.

Ghouls Rule 5/10. Another predjuice plot movie. I do like they brought in humans. I mean with have best boi Jackson for a reason lol. Kinda shame we never saw the other humans in web series. And Hot take the ghoul rules designs are my least favorite out doll line. I like Frankie's and Cleo's outfits but that's about it

Frdiay Night Frights 8.5/10. By far my favorite of the movies. Plot is sexism bad, girl power plot but still cute. And they introduce Best girl Robecca and Operetta. Also roller derby outfits were my favorite of doll line theming

City of Frights 6/10. Don't remember much, it's Clawdeen centric movie. Move best girls introduced Good doll outfits. Like I said the movies just long commercial for the doll line theme

13 wishes 8/10. Howleen centric loved the plot. Great outfits. Even more best girls in the movie lo. Lowkey wish Howleen kept her curly afrohawk hair. I'm not against the idea of her changing her style because she's figuring herself out.

Also we got these baddie designs

Frights camera action 5/10 I just don't remember much of this movie expect we got Honey, Viper, and Elisabat. I think it's Draculaura centric movie

Freaky Fushion 8.5/10 another good movie. Got good lore with Robecca and Frankie’s family ( was it canon they were cousins-ish?) Loved they introduce that monsters do breed with other monsters. Draculaura gonna have some cute werevamp babies lol. I realized that any Frankie centric movie she gets a kinda sorta love interest that’s never brought up again. But Frankie x Jackson/Holt always my Otp so there’s my bias 

Boo York 9/10 Song slaps, best girls bangers. Outfits killer Nuff said

6/10 hate they recon half of everything. They redesign the main girls but others like Toerli and Venus keep their regular designs from OG wave. Clawdeen’s fam got redacted. Max at the beginning of the episode (to Luna's grandparents): You guys are the best! Stuff of legends! Thank you!

Me: No, Max, no. Don't trust them! Oh, you pure, naive boy! Why must you always believe every other person is good?! Ugh.

No matter how much Luna's grandparents love her or care for her, the fact that they are ready and actively want to take her away from her father — a father who is trying his best and hardest to be a good father and really already is one — just totally negates all their love and care for Luna, as far as I'm concerned. And I just get this teeny tiny feeling that perhaps Georgia's parents, deep down inside, blame Max for her death and resent him for having survived? And maybe that's carrying on to everything going on with Luna. I mean, it's a very real possibility.

I am going to love watching Max fight them for his daughter. I hope he never lets them anywhere near Luna in the future. Yes, obviously it will be painful, but I love angst, so yeah.

Also!! Max and Helen! These two are finally there! My OTP is finally on the same book, same page, same! line! Yay! I loved them all throughout the episode. ❤️ BTW, the fact that Max stopped her from leaving the room when he was talking to (ex) Monster-in-law makes me feel like he won't hide the custody battle from her. I'm hoping he doesn't, and that Helen is actively involved in the whole thing. 🤞🤞

Oh, and Casey and Lauren have my heart, too. Their friendship is just so pure and cute and deep, and yes I'm a closet CaseyxLauren shipper, but I have also always known there isn't ever going to be a chance for that. Anyhoo, I love their dynamic and they are totally besties and I love them. 💜

P.S. Can we please somehow get both those deleted scenes? The Sharpwin one and the Casey/Lauren one? I want to watch! 😭

Answering OTP Questions That No One Asked Or Wanted Answers To

My OTP is Scarlet Strange, so yeah. I’ll do this for other ships if you send me ‘em if you’d like.

Who in your OTP carries them from the couch/car to the bed?

Either of them would do this. I don't think it boils done to only one of them.

And who soothes the kids after nightmares?

Again, either of them. It really depends on who's more awake. And since they both deal with really bad nightmares, so they know exactly what to do.

Who wants to throw out the car seat because the stupid thing won't strap in?

Probs Stephen. Except he wouldn't blame the car seat, he'd blame his hands (which Wanda would then assure it's just the damn seat, because she has trouble with it as well sometimes).

Who cries on the first day of school?

Uhhh, ....Wanda. She's the more emotional one.

Get's the kids into the local sports team?

Like, convince the coach/teacher/coordinator to let them join? Or convince the kid to try out and help them practice? Because I don't think either of them would do the first one, but they would both do the second one (although Wanda would help more with the training then Stephen likes to admit).

And who's the parent that gets way to aggressive at these sports games?

Hmmmmm............I honestly don't think either of them would get to aggressive. Unless something happens where it's clear someone's cheating and no one says anything, then they both just get silently pissed off.

Who in your OTP lets the kids stay up and watch movies and who sends them to bed?

Wanda would let them stay up because she'd be watching the movies as well and lose track of time, and Stephen would send them to bed because he watches the clock and doesn't take any risks with school or their health.

Who sneaks candy to the kids before school, whilst the other pretends not to notice?

Wanda sneaks them the candy, and then once they're gone, Stephen talks to her about it.

Who is the parent that yells at the kid for being called to the principal's office and who is the parent who yells at the principal?

Neither of them would do either, they'd stay calm and then talk to the kids about it (because we stan good parents). But Stephen would most definitely give them the 'We're not mad, just disappointed' talk. And then Wanda follows it up with either the 'I'm mad, but yeah, sure' or the 'I'm both, so speak for yourself'.

Who teaches their son to tie a tie and who.....

Depending on the situation, it could be either of them, but I feel like they'd argue on the method of tying it and Pietro would be the one to actually team him.

Explains periods to their daughter?

I wanna say Wanda. I really do. But I have to go with Stephen on this one. He's a doctor, so it probably wouldn't be as awkward for him, and Wanda just wouldn't know how to explain it properly or blank on what a period even is.

Who cries at graduation?

Both. Wanda didn't even finish middle school, she learned everything she missed out on from either Hydra or the Avengers, and Stephen puts their education before most things, so they would both be really proud. Not to mention, neither would know where the time went, because 'it seems like yesterday that they were just babies, being held in their arms'.

Who reads the book in silly voices?

Wanda does the silly voices, but Stephen is more enthusiastic about it and seems to act it out more.

Who's the one against sweets before dinner and who lets it slide?

I kind of already answered this one, but Stephen is against it and Wanda lets it slide.

They both like putting on a show with their abilities in order to get rid of the monster, although they've agreed that Wanda takes the one under the bed, while Stephen takes the one in the closet.

Which parent sneaks veggies into the kids' dinner and who doesn't like veggies themselves?

Stephen sneaks the veggies in, and Wanda tries her best to not eat them. I feel like she'd be more of a fruit person.

Who in your OTP does the "hurt my baby and I'll kill you" speech when their kid brings someone over?

Stephen. This one just has Stephen written all over it. And then Wanda tells him to calm down, but he glares daggers at the them the entire night.

Who goes on all the rides with the kids because their partner gets queasy on rides?

I have this headcannon that Wanda is actually scared of heights, so it would probably be Stephen. She'll go with them every now and then, though, because 'I want to make memories with you guys, and nothing risked, nothing gained, right? Besides, maybe I'm over it’. She's never over it.

2. what’s their parenting approach? do they raise their children differently than how they were raised?

oh absolutely!! their approach is much more gentle, although still stern. they’ve both agreed to not raise their children as hunters or with graphic knowledge of it, not until they’re old enough to decide for themselves. so like, they sit down with them and have a chat when they’re like 20 or out of college. obviously, they’re born into it and them being curious and asking questions is inevitable (especially since both dean and izzy die/disappear at some point throughout their childhood), so they make sure not to openly lie to them. so whenever one of the kids say something about monsters under their bed or in their closet, it’s always something like “sweetie, did you know that mommy and daddy fight monsters all the time?” “really?” “yeah. so that thing under your bed? easy peasy. as long as mommy and daddy are here, no monster will ever get to you or your siblings. okay?” and then they also always try to make sure that they include the kids’ feelings and opinions when making decisions that will also affect them, and practice being open and talking about their feelings!!

4. who gets the most emotional seeing their children grow older?

oh they both are!!

6. how do they celebrate their baby’s first birthday? are they the type of parents to go over the top for birthdays/holidays?

oh yes absolutely!!! they go all the way every time, and sam or one of the others always has to go “you do know they won’t even remember all this, right?” but nope, it’s like tradition already. each birthday and holiday will be a grand one, all their money be damned

Headcanons on Habit's dad? I'm curious on what you think about him

HM this one’s probably gonna have a lot of categories crossed since he exists solely as a backstory character and not one that can really be given a Standard fluffy fandom treatment at that but let’s give it a whirl:

1: sexuality headcanon: i know it’s kind of played out to only hc the villains as cishet but like when his son’s own character arc is so Deeply entrenched in queercoding or at least the general sense of “character drives themselves to madness trying to fit into a role that has been expected of them practically since birth” that resonates so heavily with queer folk it’s like. c’mon lol. the only exception i could think of was if he was Also deeply closeted but there’s nothing in what little we know about him to suggest that so /shrug

4: notp: the only person i’ve actually seen him shipped with in the traditional sense was habit himself and uh. well. i don’t care for that very much, to say the least.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head: DEFINITELY a “my dad hit me and i turned out just fine!” kind of parent. on a less dark note one of my earliest hcs from back when s4m was first released was that monster/non-human lineage was common in whatever alternate version of wyoming s4m takes place in and that he was habit’s human parent because irony but with habit being confirmed as 100% human and just running on cartoon physics, well. that’s been rendered obsolete lol

- Loki because he adores holding his boys. Just feeling them and holding them reassures him that they're real and they're here, and nothing and no one is taking them from him.

- Both of them, but Sigyn is better at soothing them. It's probably from helping Loki through his nightmares, but she always knows just what to say.

- They don't have a car, but they have those harnesses to carry them around, and Loki constantly tries to figure it out but gives up. Sigyn comes and figures it out in a moment and he's just exasperated.

- Both of them. Those are their babies. Loki will hold it until they get home, Sigyn will let it all out and everyone around her will know.

5. Gets the kids into the local sports team?

- Loki. Might be a little bit of threatening an blackmail, but he does it.

6. And who’s the parent that gets way too aggressive at these games?

- Again Loki, he's very competitive. He's probably gotten kicked out multiple times for arguing with the refs as Sigyn is like, "Loki chill, it's just a game." Loki does always end it with telling the boys not to be competitive with each other, just everyone else.

7. Who in your OTP lets the kids stay up and watch movies and who sends them to bed?

- Loki really lets them do whatever and Sigyn just gives up at a point. However, Sigyn sends them to bed. Loki will stay up reading to them all night if they tell him to and Sigyn's like, "They're manipulating you."

- Loki sneaks them treats and Sigyn just smiles. She's given up telling him not to because he won't.

- Neither of them are yellers when it comes to the boys. They explain logically what the boys did was wrong and always makes sure the boys feel understood. However, if their boys were the victims of someone else, they will go nuts. Don't mess with the Lokasons, you'll lose no matter what.

- Loki teaches the boys to tie a tie and he really takes enjoyment in it, probably because teaching them to tie a tie is showing them the spell they use to tie their tie. Sigyn will explain periods just because she's a healer and can be more technical about it.

Note: For the purposes of this meme, I still don’t know how Prax would identify at this point in non-despair!canon, so I’m using ‘they’ for them for the moment. This will probably not stick.

Sleeping:

Who snores? If both do, who snores the loudest?: Prax.

Do they share a bed or sleep separately?: They share when they get the chance to share. More than once... okay let’s be real more than five times, Prax has found Noe sleeping at his notetaking desk at 1am and carried him back to bed.

If they sleep together, do they cozy up together or lay far apart?: Sort of inbetween, not touching but not distant either. 

Who talks in their sleep?: Neh 

What do they wear to bed?: Sometimes nightshirts, sometimes dressing gowns, depending on the heat.

Are either of your muses insomniacs?: They tend to stay up quite late, but that isn’t the same thing

Can sleeping pills be found by the bedside?: No, Prax talked Noe out of that particular downswing.

Do they wrap their limbs around each other or just lay side by side?: Side by side

Who wakes up with bed hair?: both of them let’s be honest, but Prax is especially susceptible to looking like they’ve been Dragged Through a Hedge (Hawthorne’s backyard) Backwards

Who prepares breakfast in bed for the other?: Prax has tried, but it’s never really gotten off the ground. Literally, every time they’ve tried something’s gotten permanently stuck to the ground

Do they set an alarm each night?: They don’t need to usually - Prax has developed this internal clock system where they just automatically wake up half an hour before they’re ‘supposed’ to? It’s weird

Can a television be found in their bedroom?: Nope. It’s in the living room, and too big to fit anywhere else. 

Who has nightmares?: Either or, really, but for Noe it’s more common.

Is money a problem?: Nah! With Noe’s alchemy and Prax’s cut of film payments, whatever that cut is, they’re doing well for themselves! Hope’s Peak guarantees lifelong success, after all.

How many cars do they own?: Just the one, believe it or not. It’s a little red number that Prax bought off of one of their coworkers. Air conditioned and everything!

Do they own their home or do they rent?: It is probably this house so yes they own it

Do they live near the coast or deep in the countryside? Do they live in the city or in the country?: The city has better business. In the country, there’s nothing to do and everyone is racist. So they have a place in Bridgeport adjacent to the subway, to make it easier to get where everyone needs to be. 

Do they enjoy their surroundings?: They’re neat enough! 

What’s their song?: They don’t really have one as far as Prax knows at any rate. They just sing to whatever’s on the radio

What do they do when they’re away from each other?: Work, usually. Otherwise, shopping, or just their own thing. But most of the time when tehy’re in the house they’re both in it at the same time

Where did they first meet?: At Hope’s Peak, of course! 

How did they first meet?: Well, they’re both Ultimates, so I would assume at the meet and greet for the class they shared
