Rin doesn't like carrying Isagi. Honestly he wants him to move more by his own two feet.

Isagi could be bi but I think he won't care about gender much and his parents have kinda the same idea "love is love" even if they don't understand all that stuff much.

Rin's parents, as we were shown, already think there's something wrong with their son. Honestly, I think they will be surprised their son got SOMEONE at all. Like, yeah, their sons are pretty but they both have hard to handle personalities.

But also I think Rin wouldn't even share the fact and his parents will find out through the news or something.

Their friends. Uh. I don't think Rin had any before BLLK and I don't think Isagi will try to talk to his classmates again.

30. One headcanon about this OTP that mends <heart>?

Rin and Isagi healing their dissatisfactions/trauma thanks to each other (it's more of an implied canonically but not stated factually. Bc Isagi helped a lot and they helped him)

But with RinSagi in particular I like that they see each other equally and at the same time they are not stale. Their rivalry is something that heals them. With Rin, it helps to close the gap made by his brother (honestly, I can understand why Sae did it but he did it too rough) and for Isagi it allows him to fight against someone who is also obsessed with football the way he is.

And. It heals Isagi's ego. He was always for the striker mentality but his school club was.... Not that. It was about fighting as one making Isagi the support (Rin had the same arc as well)

Rin's goal wasn't the best of the best but to beat Sae. It's kinda close but not really. And then it's to beat Isagi. And like, Isagi is the same but he wants to be the best.

They both want to devour eachother.

This kind of relationship is what makes them both so special.

They are healthily obsessed with the other under the thin veil of rivalry that also pushes them to be better.

BROTP: I really like his relationship with Neijire, being in the same class I feel like she just kinda bugged him until they were friends. Lesbian/Gay Hostility. They bicker like siblings.

Random Headcanon: It's Tamaki's fault we keep getting interns at the Fatgum agency. He hears someone struggling and thinks "Fat could help them" and brings them home like a kid bringing home a kitten. He's a bleeding heart, just like his father.

Overall Opinion: I LOVE Tamaki like a LOT. My favorite part about him, and all the 3rd year students we meet, is he's already gone through his entire character arc. He, Mirio, and Neijire worked to overcome challenges, faced problems, had training arcs and everything long before we met them. They're main characters post their own plot and I LOVE that kind of story telling.

Eijiro Kirishima

Sexuality: ALSO Gay

Gender: Transgender, He/Him

OTP: KiriBaku my BELOVED, my boyfriend Zayne was really into this one when he was into My Hero so I kinda got pulled into it first. I do really like them. Hot Headed VS Bull Headed.

BROTP: Mina for sure!! Gay/Bi Solidarity. She was his gay awakening in that he thought he liked her Romantically until he realized he didn't like girls at all. They have self care sleepovers where they do facials and paint eachother nails and gossip for sure

Random Headcanon: Kirishima has a real soft spot for Shojo Manga, and prefers it over action packed Shounen. The only people who know this are the rest of the Fatfam, Mina, and Bakugo.

Overall Opinion: I'm gonna keep saying I love these characters and it's true I loooove Eijiro sooo much. He's so head strong but with a huge heart he cares and worries SO much and he's also always down to clown commit to the bit ride or die kinda guy. I love him.

Tetsutestu Tetsutetsu

Sexuality: Bi? Pan? Omni?? Poly??? I don't think he really knows the exact label fits him best. Everyone in class B would say he's Bisexual, but he himself would answer the question with a "I dunno, boys are cute, girls are cute, what's it matter?"

Gender: ALSO Transgender, He/Him

OTP: I really like him with Kendo, their dynamic is incredibly cute and funny. A lot of "That's MY WIFE!!!!! :D" Energy and I love that for him. He's her biggest cheerleader.

BROTP: He and Eiji as constantly butting head twins who are too similar for their own good is incredibly funny to me and I do love that dynamic. I also love him with Neito Monoma as the bite to his bark kind of dynamic. He doesn't do it on purpose, he just loves hyping people up and isn't really hearing the nonsense Monoma is saying.

Random Headcanon: Tetsu really needs glasses, like really needs glasses, and just doesn't know it. He thinks everybody sees like this and just hasn't questioned it.

General Opinion: My Hero Academia Dumb Guy is a very particular gender and I adore it. Well, I call Tetsu dumb but he can't be that dumb to be in UA, it's a top school after all. He's just impulsive and hard headed and reckless, not necessarily stupid. I love him, boy son son boy

Momo Yaoyorozu

Sexuality: I'm in camp AroAce Momo, but I can also be on team Ace/Lesbian Momo. Back and forth on that one a lot.

Gender: Cis gender, She/Her

OTP: Sense I think she's Aro I don't have a lot of Momo ships off the top of my head, but I think she and Jiro are cute. The ideal Big Fem Little Butch Lesbian/Bi ship. If anything Jiro for sure has a crush on her.

BROTP: I really like the headcanon that she, Iida, and Todoroki are all childhood friends who attended a lot of the same Pro Hero/High class parties and hung out together during them.

Random Headcanon: Momo's parents don't support her choice to do Hero work, and are constantly threatening to pull her out of UA if the hero training gets in the way of her grades. She has an uncle who's a Pro Hero, which is how she got the recommendation to UA in the first place, he's also the one who signed all her paperwork and showed up for Parent's Day.

Overall Opinion: Momo is what made me realize I shouldn't focus too hard on the costuming of My Hero Academia fjkghjdfg her hero suit makes me sad. I think she's a very under used character, and could use some character development time under Fatgum, sense they both have quirks that utilize fat cells and she is entirely too thin to be doing hard hero work while using up that much energy. No WONDER she passes out all the time!

Nirengeki Shoda

Sexuality: Biromantic, Asexual

Gender: Trans Man, He/Him

OTP: It's hard to ship the 1-B kids cause they don't get near enough focused screen time. Shoda doesn't even seem to have a real affinity with anyone in his class either, sense every time we've seen him he's paired with someone new. I got nothing, it seems.

BROTP: He, Yui, Reiko, and Kendo all hang out I think. Shoda's really chill and team focused, so he can really blend into any group, but the girls specifically tend to steal him for hang outs the most.

Random Headcanon: Shoda has a real hard time taking praise or thinking he's really worthy of anything, a lot like Momo. It's something he's been forced to get better at sense being in a class with Neito Monoma though, sense the guy won't take "nah I didn't do anything" as an answer when complimenting people. Shoda's worked self deprecation out of his speaking habits out of necessity at this point.

General Opinion: My son boy I picked this one for the Fatfam and I'm the only one to do so but the Baseball OVA really got me okay my S/I is baseball themed and Shoda's quirk is REALLY GOOD for baseball of COURSE I'd pick him up. My intern now, suck it Shishido. I also just think the Fatgum agency needs more Class B in the mix. MORE REP FOR CLASS B!!!!

 it happens like this by hitchhikersguidetotheuniverse: the first rina fic ever written, It holds a place in my heart on the basis of that alone and their interactions are golden; written so well and simplistic writing is always something I’m a sucker for. “It happens like this: one day Ricky and Gina aren’t friends - they’ve spoken to each other maybe a total of five times, and then, out of nowhere, the next day they are.”

and I would tell you all this if I could: “His eyes momentarily flicker up to hers, catching the small smile that splayed across her face. He shyly glanced away, inwardly wincing in chagrin at the slight crack of his voice when he sings the line of “When I confused my feelings with the truth.” Ricky continued to strum, greatfully hoping that she couldn’t see the slight blush that was coloring his cheeks. or; an extended scene of where Ricky serenades Gina. Includes missing scenes from the episode.”

 Start of Something New by charlottedrake: I love a good mutual/unrequited pining fic with a happy ending :). “He looks happy. Gina smiles at that realization. If anyone deserves happiness, it’s Ricky.She’s happy for him, Gina tells herself.Yeah. She is.Really, she is.Until she’s not.”

With you close I’m the happiest I ever was by immcrtal: Read this one over and over when it was first published. immcrtal consistently publishes god tier rina fics, check her out. “What he doesn’t know is that her hand twitches to touch or brush his arm, hands or shoulders every time he’s near her. And maybe that’s for the best.”

 If You Want by Glitteredwithstars: A absolute classic by another underrated incredibly talented writer. Hits all the bases with childhood friends to lovers in all ways. “My names Ricky, by the way” He says, he rubs the back of his neck and kicks at the gravel.Gina rolls her eyes and doesn’t say anything in response, but instead walks her way into a standing position, hands gripping the chains of the swing, all signs pointing to her next move. He doesn’t budge though, plants his feet and works up a smirk again.Again, Gina doesn’t back down. So she kicks her legs and lets herself fly free, she plants her feet just as she reaches Ricky’s face, their noses touch. “Move”, Gina states, not bite but she makes her point transparent.“Tell me your name”, he says and smiles in the same way, like he has power over her. A Ricky/Gina childhood friends AU, in where their just like, always there for eachother…”

Say Goodnight and Go by kirikacchan: “A rowdy Thanksgiving theater party at Ashlyn’s ends with shocking news for Gina that affects her and others around. Mostly the story will focus on the emotional ride of Ricky and Gina.”

 We can meet in the middle (bodies and souls collide) by immcrtal: “She stays like that looking at him staring at her through the mirror’s reflection of them.”Or Ricky learns that learning a choreography with your best friend slash crush is the hardest thing ever.”

 Gold’s Fake and Real Love Hurts by GinaPorterss: Let me just say a few things about the absolute gem that is this story, it really changed the game with rina fanfic writing in my opinion. This is the start of the series and its absolutely incredible. The writing is beautiful, the dynamic is masterfully written and the dynamic is layered. It’s just so good I don’t have the words. I LOVE YOU LORE. “Ricky Bowen realizes a few things.”

 dancing’s not a crime by peculiarblue: Read this fic again and again when it came out too, its unreal the talent this writer ( and all of rina nation) has with capturing Ricky and Gina’s dynamic. This story specifically taps into their potential and it’s just so genuinely fun to read. The writing is so good, there truly are no words. I always go back to this fic, its everything and more. unless you do it without me (a few times Gina helps Ricky with his 2 left feet, and one time Ricky sweeps her off hers)

 Rooftop talks by peachycarat and got my heart beat skippin by peculiarblue: Both of these stories are Spiderman related so I thought I’d group them together. They’re amazing! “She knew him as Ricky Bowen, but as Spiderman, she knew him as a superhero she ran into once in awhile.But sometimes… Maybe Spiderman is what she needed.”

“how to fall in love, make a fool of yourself in the process, and still get the girl while on a school trip with your drama club: an approximately seven step plan, by ricky bowen(or, ricky’s heart can’t stop doing flips whenever he sees gina, and evidently the embarrassing pining knows no bounds, not even across the globe, a story inspired by the events of spider-man: far from home)”

pretend I don’t see it in your eyes by spobylol: This one hurts if you’re a bit of a rini warrior but in the best way. It really in my opinion writes Nini’s character very well and we really get the dynamic through her eyes so well and its so refreshing to see considering with love triangles with men in the center, they have all the power but this time its Nini controlling the narrative, which is just so interesting. Beautifully written, rhythmic, layered story. “for a long time, nini could sense that there was something bubbling under the surface between ricky and gina. she just didn’t want to admit it to herself.but maybe she can’t deny it any longer as it becomes more and more blatantly obvious.”

catch by rinas: Talk about tugging at the heart strings! this story right here, short simplistic writing that really gets into the heart of the angst of Ricky and Gina’s dynamic. It’s a college fic so their a bit older and their growth together speaks so many volumes in this story. The angst and mutual pining really speaks for itself. Such a good read, can’t get enough of it. “her breathing is slow and calm as she stands across from him, hand buried inside her coat and a soft smile on her face, he looks as breathtaking as ever. and he’s hers, for real now.”

Thanks for Being Around  by Glitteredwithstars: Another classic written by this author and it hits different. The mutual understanding that’s already set at chapter 1 sets the scene along with the fact that it’s enemies to friends to lovers and it’s already a favorite. “Ricky’s alone, but he get’s a new car out of it. Gina’s alone, and she get’s a new friend out of it, maybe. The thing is they kinda don’t like eachother, expect they kinda do, and things sorta get messy.”

who am I to you? by canweorderpizza: I cannot talk about how much I love this fic enough. Rina fluff is the best and the fact that it’s also like their first date but they aren’t really sure it’s a first date is such a rina thing. I love their dynamic in this one it’s so CUTE, especially towards the end. An underrated gem in all senses of the word. “ricky asks gina to the fair, but neither of them knows it’s a date. feelings are spilled and ricky still doesn’t know gina’s name???”

ARE WE STILL FRIENDS? by GinaPorterss: This one I’m a bit bias towards because it was gifted to me by the incredibly talented author herself. Lore is amazing and talented and so the story is a direct reflection of that. Two chapters in and childhood friends to lovers rina has already outsold. “Gina Porter had her whole junior year planned.Until Ricky Bowen had to screw it all up.”

do I wanna know? by spdervrses: Prepare to feel! feelings! this story right here your honor, so good. You can really feel the angst and the push and pull between them further giving us everything we didn’t know we needed in terms of their dynamic. it’s a serve.  “I don’t have a girlfriend. Not anymore. I broke up with Nini.”Her heart thuds. “What? Why would you do that, Ricky?”Now he’s the one who can’t seem to look her in the eyes. He shoves his hands into his pockets and swallows. “Come on, you know why. You’re really going to make me say it?” After the aftermath of the play, Ricky Bowen attempts to fix his relationship with Gina Porter.”

Can I Have This Dance? by stormbornbxtch: Everything I fucking needed! It’s got the unsuspecting love confession during the play with them as the main love interests (which I specifically tweeted about and it just came to fruition I seriously love rina nation for that), the mutual pining, the angst, THE FUCKING RAIN KISS! In all ways and forms we won with this one. “Ricky and Gina’s story told in three parts taking place over the course of Ricky’s senior year and Gina’s junior. And it all starts (and ends) with a dance.”

Gina Porter and the Boy Next Door by TheMarshamallowQueen: This story has such intresting plot points. It’s such a good take on what if Gina was one of the girls Ricky was hanging out with over the summer only its a boy next door au with mutual understanding and friends to lovers au we didn’t know we needed. It needs to be updated ASAP! it’s fantastic and so worth the read. “Gina is used to moving around, so getting the news that her mom has a new job and they won’t be moving anymore was shocking to say the least. The addition of her way too friendly neighbor that seems to enjoy her company only adds to the initial shock.orGina moves to SLC permanently halfway through the summer before her sophomore year, moving into Ricky Bowen’s neighborhood just as he has absolutely nothing to do until school starts back up. Shenanigans ensue.How does this change the events that transpire in season 1?”

now we find the strength to stand alone by angelsunknown: Not super rina centric but this one really gives you all the family feels with EJ, Ash and Gina so it’s perfect and definitely one of my faves. “Gina does not take E.J. up on his offer of a ride to Denny’s. She does not cancel her flight out of Salt Lake City either. She cannot pull her “Disappearing Gina” act on her mother, after all; or just pretend that her problems do not exist; or break her own heart like that.”

unrequited love at different times by rickyandgina: This one hurts, plain and simple. It’s got angst, mutual AND unrequited pining which is so hard to write in one story sometimes but this one does it beautifully. “ricky needs to tell gina how he feels. maybe she feels the same way. who knows?”

romione - literally my OTP, my comfort ship, i do not care what anyone else thinks of it, its amazing, fun fact: a romione fic was the first i ever read. 11/10

hinny - def a little rushed but i see them as like a “yes” kinda couple (if that makes sense) 9/10

drarry - EHHHHHHHHHHH it’d probably ship it id if draco could get everything sorted out cause he’s PROBLEMATIC 3/10

when I started shipping it: Funnily enough I started entertaining the idea of them being together when 3b was airing. I fell in love with Zelena and started thinking about who she could end up with and Archie was the first person that came to mind! Their dynamic would have been something to behold!

my thoughts: Otp! I freaking love the idea of them. Archie would be so good for Zelena! He’d have the patience for her that she needs and I love the idea of him psychoanalysing her all the time and her being like “stop that!” but he can’t help it xD! I think he’d just adore her and he’d do anything for her and Robin and I can see her opening her heart up to him more and more over time and him helping her through her issues. I mean, you probably shouldn’t marry your therapist but maybe they did it the other way round!

What makes me happy about them: Thinking about how devoted to Zelena Archie would be. My gal deserves to be loved D,:! And thinking about how have such a soft spot for him and thinking about them raising Robin together in an AU. And Zelena would have a cute nickname for him! I’m so happy they got to be together on screen!

What makes me sad about them: That they’re are not canon. And that the fandom is non existent. But what can you do!

things done in fanfic that annoys me: Nothing! There’s not enough fanfic to be annoyed by! I’m just greatful for any fanfiction that there is, Come to think of it, why haven’t I done a search on Ao3? I need to get on that!

things I look for in fanfic: Just fanfic for them in general. Who knows? Maybe I’ll find a gold mine!

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Ummm. I guess I’d be cool with Zel Zel ending up with Hades but I prefer Wicked Cricket for sure! I wouldn’t mind Archie ending up with Ruby or I just thought of Wish Hook. That could be cute! 

My happily ever after for them: For them to have had a fling whilst Robin was growing up in Storybrooke and for Zelena to call off the wedding with Chad (I have nothing against the guy, we just didn’t get to know enough about him) upon realising that she’s still in love with Archie and for Archie to confess the same. Then they’d get married and live happily ever after!

when I started shipping it: From early season one (though I didn’t watch the first two seasons live)! They were the main reason I fell in love with the show. 

my thoughts: Y’all don’t know how much I love them. Like, I honestly want to cry when I think about them. They’re so perfect for eachother and their love story is so epic. They are one of my all time favourite ships. 

What makes me happy about them: The fact that they will always find eachother and that they just belong together and that they make eachother happy and I’mma cry!

What makes me sad about them: That they didn’t get to raise Emma D.: and that I felt that they were kinda pushed aside in later seasons.things done in fanfic that annoys me: Nothing I can think of! 

things I look for in fanfic: I’m always on a hunt for fics set in season one. I like when they are the centric characters. I especially love S1 fics set in cursed storybrooke.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: But they belong together!! But okay, if I had to I’d be cool with Snow ending up with Ruby and Charming ending up with Wish Hook. But I just want Snowing to be together, y’know.

My happily ever after for them: I think they pretty much got it! To be together and have all their family and friends around them. Listen, I kinda wanted them to stay in MM’s loft so I’mma imagine they moved back in for reasons. I’m glad they got to raise their son and get to watch their daughter be happy. literally how much time do you have dhdhdj I have so much love for mr richie tozier. I really relate to his specific degree of internalized homophobia in ch2 and I relate too much to his usage of humor to deflect emotions. I also only see how valuable I am if I make people laugh, same hat!!!

ugh I honestly love every richie/loser dynamic but my faves are definitely stan and bev. I feel like stan and richie is really underutilized but I love stan just seeing baby richie stuffing his face in the mud in like pre-k and being like “okay so if I don’t befriend this kid he’ll be dead by first grade. this is my burden.” I’m very soft with bev being richie’s partner in crime through their youth and it just doubles over when they meet again in their 40s

i also really like richie and patty! UGH reigen….. sir….. I havnt thought about u for a hot minute. I love reigen bc he’s some dude in his late twenties still kind of fumbling around and not sure what to do to make himself happy. on a whim he starts a shady business from the ground up where the entire practice revolves around how well he can lie to his clientele. but the thing is his advice is …. genuine. he finds himself in a position where people actually LISTEN and a small boy looks up to him and he finds that he became a purpose in someone’s life and a positive role model. reigen shows that it’s never too late to become happy (wow look I have a type) and to change yourself, and that u have an effect on people without realizing it

REIGEN ISN’T A DUMBASS. I know its cutsy and funny to say that reigen isnt competent and how mob always saves his ass but to be completely fair reigen DOESN’T HAVE POWERS and acts like anyone would in the face of ghosts spirits?? the guy built a business from the ground up and had it going for a while before mob came around. I think reigen is very person smart and knows how to… not necessarily manipulate but appeal to their emotions.

I kinda wanted more reigen and mob interactions in the reigen spin off manga even if mob finally showed up at the end… however i know for the both of them its important for their growth to become less dependent but…. that’s his son…….

i could go on for days about things i love about luke skywalker. i think now though, after seeing the sequels; i have a lot more respect for his unconditional love for those around him. he doesn’t even have to think, he just cares! he just loves! people he doesn’t know anything about, he cares!

something that immediately comes to mind is luke seeing del meeko struggling, crying out for help... in his imperial uniform. and yet, luke didn’t hesitate for a second to help him.

this is something super important to me because that is such an important personal belief of mine, and i think a lot of that might have to do with growing up watching star wars: we have to love other people. and luke does, and i love him for that! 

least favorite thing about them?

there’s nothing now that i don’t like about him (keep in mind, i don’t count the sequel trilogy. i just can’t.), so i’m just going to say what i thought as a child: i never saw why everyone liked him so much! like yeah, he’s great and i liked him, but i was always so confused as to why princess leia wasn’t the face of star wars (as a child), because she was truly a badass and as a kid i thought luke was kinda a pussy. also i thought han solo was far more interesting, and was always upset that (growing up as the prequels were coming out) the only original trilogy toys we would see at the store would be luke and vader. i just didn’t get it. now, obviously, i’m gay and i understand :)

favorite line?

god these questions are so hard. i mean there are lines that i definetly think are important to his character (”I can not leave you here, i’ve got to save you.” etc), or certain scenes i tend to favor (the “take care of yourself, han” scene in iv, checking to see if dak is still alive before the at-at crushes the speeder), but there isn’t a specific line i like the most?

edit from while i’m working on questions further down: when he yells “Han? Leia!” and falls, and of course right after “but they’re my friends, i’ve got to help them!” definitely ties back into how much he loves other people (especially his friends, even if his love puts himself in danger), and his loyalty. something i was thinking about the other day is that there are a total of three scenes in episode v where he interacts with han (one of which he’s practically dead, and the other is mostly spent just looking at one another), and yet, you never get the feeling that they’re growing apart, or moving on, have better things to do etc.

 i love how close luke and chewbacca get in even just the course of the first movie! i’m also always a sucker for luke and leia being like best pals even before they knew they were twins. i day dream about star wars a lot. i have so many. I think my favorite though is that tattooine has really intensely spicy foods! luke would definitely be that guy who puts tabasco sauce on everything. I have this whole theory that han solo, while he loves other cultures and foods from other planets, just absolutely can not stand even a little spicy- it kills his stomach. one time, luke was casually eating roasted veggies and offers one to han and it was so spicy that he nearly threw up. luke never let him live it down, and insists that it “wasn’t even that bad”

on the other hand, leia eats spicy food (though she doesn’t really care for it), but is always sure to decline luke’s offer whenever he offers her any sort of snack. she makes fun of han too much to be caught in a similar situation.

unpopular opinion?

okay. hear me out. i think luke is obviously an amazing jedi and i love him to bits, BUT. i don’t think he’s as powerful as everyone makes him seem! like yeah he absolutely is more powerful than most jedi ever, but there’s not a doubt in my mind that leia was the mor advanced one when it came for force sensitivity. i can’t imagine luke doing weird force things as a baby (while i absolutely can with leia. just like imagine her spinning the crib mobile above her head as a baby!)

if y’all ever saw doctor sleep, i always imagined luke as a child more like the baseball kid. he just gets a feeling about things sometimes! which is great! 

this was honestly more of a hc than an unpopular opinion. but anyway. i’m right. can’t wait for the kenobi show. all i’ve wanted since i was a kid was a show about luke and leia growing up! glad we’ll get to see it!

how i feel about this character: LOVE HIM!!! trager is my personal favorite outlast villain, both because he just has an enjoyable personality and that he really expresses outlast’s message well - potentially the worst person miles encounters in the asylum isn’t an inmate, but a full-of-himself executive that’s been given an opening to hurt people. it’s just really cool to me! also his dialogue is incredibly good ALSO i love his horrible preppy design in the comics and in general i just love trager so much...

all the people i ship romantically with this character: trager is... not an ideal partner pfff. but i am a fan of trager/jeremy - not because i find it cute or romantic (of course it isn’t, with how it ends...) but because i think them having a relationship is an interesting opportunity to explore their characters and how they’d treat partners... my portrayal of it is closest to two awful people trying to control one another. ultimately trager’s a victim, as jeremy betrays him, but overall it’s a mess and they’re both bad for eachother. i’m not even sure if this can be described as a ship tbh XD (on the lighter side of things, for anyone who does genuinely ship them and doesn’t mind a noncanon trager portrayal, i cant recommend the fic let me sell you the dream enough!)

my non-romantic otp for this character: nothing amuses me more than trager and eddie being surgery buddies. there’s just so much comedic potential with them having to put up with another. and in more lighthearted aus where they’re not, ykno, THAT, i do find him and pauline having an unlikely and incredibly odd friendship fun. she has no idea how she got stuck with this lunatic but his company is somehow enjoyable

my unpopular opinion about this character: im not sure how unpopular this is but im of course not a fan of his portrayal in the comics, as much as i love the comics. mainly him being a date r-pist and overall far dumber than we know him to be. the former just feels like a cheap way to make him more evil (i think the kind of character he is is important to have, but it doesn’t suit HIM in particular), and in general making a long established and well liked character a creep never sat well with me.   personally, i write trager as smarter than he looks but not as smart as he thinks he is, and that him drugging pauline wasn’t out of lust as much as it was keeping her from snooping around when he knew she thought he was suspicious, and wanting to... do stuff to her, was a believable cover if she realized.

one thing i wish would have happened in canon: TELL US WHAT THE BLOOD DREAMS ARE RED BARRELS!!! TELL US!!!!!!!!!!!

how i feel about this character: you KNOW as the local murkoff account stan i GOTTA love her. she’s a perfect example of murkoff’s evil without being a completely unlikable character, her lack of care for people is teeeerrrifyingly written and i like that she’s a developed and nuanced character despite it. like. jeremy done right. sorry jeremy

my unpopular opinion about this character: OKAY iv gone on this tangent before but pauline is a character i REALLY wish people would approach with more nuance. i either see her despised or idealized with no inbetween, and it’s frustrating. there has to be some middle ground between “pauline is a horrible person who should die painfully” and “pauline is a cool badass whose actions don’t matter bc she’s a cool badass” because both are equally frustrating to see. my stance has always been that she’s a bad person but still deserves to be analyzed as a character like everyone else. she’s very fun to analyze too!

And in the book they are almost a different ship but they still work well and just make me so happy plus they get engaged at the end of the book so that's awesome. But for the show we are 6 seasons in and they are the longest slow burn couple I've ever met in my life cause they just would admit they have feeling and the writers are trolls, soooo yea, they are my OTP and I love them whichever version we are talking about. (I thought about splitting up book bellarke and show bellarke but then I would bellarke on the list twice and I thought that might be confusing so instead you get this equally confusing paragraph)

Show Bellarke FOR SURE. They just play off each other so well and their actors are married in real life.

They got together in s3 of their show, then there was a 6 year time jump between s4 and s5 and then all the characters went into cryosleep for 125 years at the end of s5 and they are now engaged in s6 soooo they've been together for like 132 years due to technicalities or I would say Will and Tessa because they got together when they were 16 & 17, got married and stayed together until he dies at like 90something sooo, no strange time jumps included, soooo it’s kinda how you look at it really.

Alright it’s nearly 4 am, I just finished both of the epilogues, thoughts below the cut there will be spoilers. Like. Legitimately I’m not going to be coy about the details of anything here. Much like the epilogue, my thoughts are long.

I have very mixed feelings. 

Some of it was hilarious, heartwrenching and beautiful in all the right ways, particularly literally everything involving obama. Here’s a list of things off the top of my head that were very good

-blackrom as “we wanna make eachother improve” this has been my view since the beginning of time and frankly having it finally blatantlty pointed out by “”””””canon””””””” or something with a close enough approximation to it’s world building that it can be seen as semi meaningful is epic. 

-Again. The obama stuff. idk why but i did cry when dave met obama. the obama conversations were perfect. All of them, and i love the fact that dave has obama AU’s that he discusses regularly.

-Dirk and Callie fighting over who got to affect the events in canon. specifically the sniper scene, and the battle before then. it was well done and very good action/conflict/whatever. All of that was good.

-Dirk interjecting to correct Callie about sword facts brought so much joy into my life I was almost ready to forgive the numerous things I hate about the epilogue which I will get into later

-Dirks monologue about why he needed to be stopped? primo content, very theatre of coolty, very detective pony. I know the video version of detective pony is being worked on right now but if naked-bee(person who made the vids) were to make the epilogue too that’d be frankly, the tightest since their brand seems to be bringing good dirk content to light

-challenging cherubs and gender. roxy and gender was also very tight. I liked her candy convo w/ john about it very much

-that same convo where roxy not only gets real bout gender but just completely shuts down john’s “it’s my fault” shit and says, no, it wasn’t magic, and yeah, i’m a human being who wasn’t somehow magicked into compliance? Also fuck you for thinking you can define my roxyness?” So absolutely good.

-Terezi. In general. During the whole thing she was good. Perfect actually. In the verifiable UGHness of some of this she was a beacon of light and hope, non aspect wise of course.

-It was very good at making me feel things. I would point to it and say there. That’s the puppet master that cursed my heart. Even if some of those feelings weren’t good, or were disgust and terror and misery, it was meant to be that way so. props for succeeding I guess.

-meta was good, not smart enough right now to actually give good commentary which is why this has devolved into a list but hey.

-The redemption garbage with Gamzee and the ghosts was very obviously poking fun at fandom attitudes and particularly. Gamzee stans themselves. I can appreciate that.

-Rose and Dirk talked. Dirk and Karkat, sorta? interacted?

-Davekat became completely canon

-Johnrezi happened

-Hussie did actually acknowledge the economy and how the kids were reproducing capitalism again

-First and foremost; It was boy-centric. Honestly? HONESTLY? FUCK THAT. The boys got to do most of the shit, the prose kept objectifying the ladies in this very uncomfortable way, and the boys got like. 99% of the povs. 

-Seriously every girl got fucked over in some way by the narrative it felt almost gross to read and notice how little they were getting. Scraps. 

-Literally, honestly? What the actual fuck this is one of the things Homestuck is supposed to be good at? And. IDK it kinda failed the fuck out of it. 

-Someone come up with whatever actually lord english isn’t dead so it’s his toxic masculinity still exerting itself on the story bs i dare you i fucking dare you

- the vriska and gamzee thing legit made me feel nauseous when I first read it and it is making me sick now. I would have rather she didn’t appear in the epilogue at all. I would have rather anything

-jane and gamzee. Also revolting.

-Jane and Jake. Kill me.

-Dirk just really fucking turned into Bro. God. It’s not an inherently bad thing but it’s so upsetting. He was just this concept that if you work against it you can actually stop yourself from becoming an off the rails bad person and.

-Dirk turned into an off the rails bad person. He was very good and sympathetic and his writing was great but. he just began repeating all the manipulative bs tendencies where he condescended to everyone and viewed them as less than human while being genuinely narcissistic and i guess it’s not inherently bad it leaves a gross taste in my mouth in combination with everything else

-the sheer heterosexuality of the candy timeline was a nightmare. I think it might have been intended to be but it was unsettling and upsetting.

-No. Legitimately. Every single female character was treated so badly I wanna cry Jade either got to be a Slut Who Ruins Everything because she has the audacity to ruin the otp or A Plot Device without agency, rose is reduced to a victim to be gaslit, jane just flatout becomes a villain, who everyone smart and important hatesetc etc

Idk enough about Puzzle to do ALL of these about Jazzle so I went with the sparkles.

Now I’ve said that Guy is a HUUUUUGE impulse buyer who would probably throw money at whatever remotely reminded him of Satin. But I also imagine Satin as the type to spend MORE on stuff for Guy.

Just because while he’ll buy anything that holds his attention long enough, she’s more focused on the quality. If it’s expensive, its good. All shit that goes on her boy gotta be designer and she is hellbent on dressin him pretty.

2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap?

Guy. Whenever he has a tight schedule, he’s either working or napping cuz damn son hes exhausted. But the thing is, that leaves him with very little time to spend with Satin. So sleeping in her lap is the best he can get.

Meanwhile, my girl has a way better sleep endurance than he does. She can pull off an all-nighter and still seem perfectly composed the next day. Satin’s fuckin incredible.

3: Who walks around the house half-naked and who yells at them to put on some clothes?

Guy is often begging Satin to get some sleep. But listen, if she’s in the zone, you cant stop her. Yes, Guy, she’s aware its 2am.

5: Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies?

Neither Satin or Chenille have much experience in cooking. They were pretty spoiled and never had to lift a finger in any kind of housework during their childhood and teenage life. Both of them have had to learn since they moved out but they gotta stick to the basic stuff.

Bless her, Satin’s heart was definitely in the right place. But what she tried to cook was gourmet which she sure as hell was not ready for yet.

Guy’s childhood ran more on a chore wheel kinda thing. He and his siblings had to take turns cooking dinner each week so like he’s a lot more acquainted with it. But is he proud of Satin’s obvious efforts, that’s his girl! You did amazing for your first try!

Tbh he probably tries to eat some of it just to be like “Nonono its fine, we can totally eat this for di-” *Chokes and has to spit it out* “Yeah ok imma make some cookies. You did a good job tho I love you”

Satin did when she was really little but Guy hadn't the foggiest clue why she kept doing in. He just piped up with “That's not your last name, it’s mine, silly!” Then proceeded to tell her what her last name was in case she forgot.

She did start calling herself Satin Diamond a few years before they got married. Like it wasn't his real last name so it didn’t matter much. Plus it sounded classy as hell. You wouldn't wanna fuck with a lady called Satin Diamond.

Neither of them are huge fans of spiders but as Guy always had to suck it up and take spiders out for his little sister’s sake, he’s a lot more equipped to dealing with it.

Satin often doesn't wear jackets so if she cold, Guy’s on that shit in an instant

They both got a pretty good relationship with eachothers siblings. Guy’s brothers are all lovable nerds in their heart so they adopt Satin immediately

Meanwhile Chenille is like a sister to Guy so like she knows he’ll cherish Satin with all his heart but like. Like a sister. Tell me Chenille hasn't blown her top several time cuz her annoying little brother/her sister’s boyfriend is being a shit again

18: Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other?

Guy probably. Their relationship kinda develops from friends to occasional flirting to more recurring flirting to constant flirting and like Guy is almost CERTAIN they’re on the same page. Orrrrr flirty might just be a budding aspect of Satin’s personality because hey, it does suit her very well.

Eventually he just gets confused and impatient and blurts out like “HEY ARE WE DOING WHAT WE’RE THINK WE’RE DOING CUZ I LIKE YOU A LOT AND-”

19: How good would your OTP be at parenting?

Pretty good, considering they weren’t really ready to be parents. The whole nine months was like last minute cramming for a test. They read so many baby books my fuckin god.

But no Satin’s a natural mom. Not as high energy as Poppy and a lot more subdued but still very caring and considerate. She’s calm and logical when helping her kid deal with problems and makes sure he always feel comfortable when talking to her. Jade is REALLY close with his momma.

Also if he gets caught sneaking out at night, he’s shish kabob. But he respects and understands that. His mom is the best person in the world. He just wouldn't dare fuck with her

Guy is also a very devoted father and tends to act as the sillier parent. His relationship with kid can be best described as “Lovingly argumentative.” But no matter, how much he makes fun of his Dad, Jade is probably his biggest fan. He knows the man’s complete filmography by heart and aspires to be an actor too. (Jade cant act for shit but ssssh he’ll change his career choice when he’s older)

But yeah, Guy spent years as his acting coach and tried so hard too because he personally believed his boy could do anything. Turns out he couldn't but ehhh, its the thought that counts. Guy loves Jade to bits and vice versa.

Neither of them use perfect grammar but Satin is most definitely the number thing. Guy is not.

I dunno if either of them are the type to get bullied. At least in the case of Satin, she just doesn't take crap. But I guess in the case of Guy, who’s just so unashamedly himself, he might piss off a few other kids with that toxic masculinity mind-set. It probably doesn't happen often but if it ever did, Satin would bite their heads off. She aint here for this bullshit.

Satin doesn't get tired easily but she wears pinchy shoes a lot so Guy gives piggybacks when she needs it

Satin. Guy hates candid photos so fuckin much so like nobody has any pictures of him laughing or sleeping or just walking around with no makeup on.

Except for Satin. Satin has like a billion. Guy just doesn't know about them cuz she knows he’d make her delete them.

I mean Satin DID give Guy a makeover when he asked. You don't think the legendary Guy Diamond look was a one man job, do you? Nah, the twins helped create the icon.

Hell, his first experience with makeup was Satin hiding him the girls bathroom stall when they were like 12 and covering up the acne on his chin after she caught him getting upset over it.

Okay but listen to me. Guy makes a big deal every time his hair gets wet. He hates rain. He hates it so fuckin much.

One time when they were teenagers, they agreed to meet at the other end of town to see a movie. Ofc theres a downpour and Guy’s standing with his umbrella at the bustop, waiting for Satin’s bus to show up. But once she steps out, she looks frazzled af, clearly having not expected the rain.

So its been a long day and Satin is pacing back and forth, unintentionally splashing puddled as she rambles about an unfair detention she received, about Chenille stealing her hairdryer, about her homework not making any sense.

The rain suddenly stops pelting her head and a shadow falls over her frame. She turns around to find him with his arm outstretched and his umbrella looming over her.

Guy blinks, confused as she stares at him in shock, his hair a soaking mess. “What?

And Satin is just internally “Imma marry him. I stg imma marry this loser.”

Wherever there’s city lights and rooftop penthouses. Theatres, restaurants and glitzy ballrooms. They live for the night glow. Tbh take them to Paris. Let them dance under the Eiffel Tower at midnight. Tell me that isn't the pinnacle of romanticism.

Also Satin takes the pictures. She’s the better photographer between them. Guy gets too eager and so many of his pics are fuzzy

Since at the moment everyone is even more salty than before over the recent soundtrack news, I’ll just try to avoid wandering in the RW//BY tags myself for now and say that I just recently listened to Like Morning Follows Night again and oh God, my boy Sun loves Blake so much it’s unbelievable. The

Yet I still believe in you Every breath, every word Every smile, every glance Could be another chance That you’ll finally see The love that is me

gets me every time. Which if we think about it, since the song played in episode 3, is kinda foreshadowing for episode 11, where Blake finally calls Sun her hero. She’s definitely starting to see the love that is Sun and acknowledge her own feelings for him, which are most likely deeper than the simple highschool crush we saw in the past volumes, but she refused to see/admit/accept them because she was scared of the consequences and she didn’t want him to end up like Yang (and all Beacon for that matter) did. 

I might not be able to follow the series anymore, but I will always root for these two no matter what. They are just so perfect for eachother both character and story wise. I sure hope RT doesn’t rush anything between them, because their relationship has great potential, but it has to be managed well nevertheless. They have been developed in a realistic way so far, which is good except for the slaps because I seriously wanted to jump into the screen and punch Blake in the face for those other than whoever thought they were a good idea in the first place; I probably hated Blake more than Jacques in that moment, no kidding.

The chorus sung by both male and female vocalist is another thing that gives me chills. It seriously makes me smile to hear that Sun and Blake’s POVs are the same, with her accepting and being happy about Sun always sticking up for her no matter what and showing her the unconditional love she never received from anyone before. You can clearly hear the development from the darkness and gloom Blake was in to the happiness and light that Sun brought in her life through the whole song.

And lets be honest here, Blake has been bearable this volume only because Sun was there to make her realize in 5 minutes everything she failed to realize in 6-8 months when she was on her own (and that she probably didn’t even fully realize during all the time she spent at Beacon). Sun never gave up despite all the shit Blake put him through, which he did not deserve, because everyone has flaws but surprisingly enough he gets demonized for every single one of them. If Sun coughed near Blake everyone would probably jump up and say that he’s trying to get her sick and that he should just die alone instead.

And now let me get one thing straight: I don’t care what you ship. I don’t care if you agree with this or not. What I care about is respect. Tumblr has made me legit scared of posting anything about these two because the only times I did I always got harassed for it. But I still want to try and overcome my own fears once more because I like writing analysis and dig deep into what the show gives us. The relationship between Blake and Sun is something I feel really close and is important to me not only because of the pairing itself, which is obviously my OTP, but also because of many other personal reasons. I just wanted to get this off my chest and write something serious about LMFN as well, if you don’t want to read it, just scroll past it. It’s that simple.

There’s spoilers under the cut (and a really angry rant about the show and Ezr*ia)

Well, I just wanted to talk about pll and the finale and the couples. First of all i wanna start saying that I started watching pll in the beggining, cause i’ve read the books and i thought ‘oh, cool there’s this super hot girl who’ll play my fave (Spencer), there’s a reason i should watch it’, and, of course, Troian Bellisario NEVER disappointed me, she (and Janel Parrish) carried the show after s3. Okay, now, the show: As i said, for me, the show started to suck after season 3. I just thought there would be so much more and i’ll say about the problematic things about the show (there’s A LOT). First of all, Ez*ia and Ez*a Fitz: FOR FUCKS SAKE, THEY STARTED DATING WHEN SHE WAS 16???? WHAT THE HELL??? And, of course, then we found out Ez*a had a thing with Ali too, so HE’S GARBAGE. I can’t believe Aria’s parents didn’t took care of the situation? I mean that’s their DAUGHTER with a 30 YEARS OLD MAN!!! If i had a daughter and that happened i think i would’ve done ANYTHING to protect her from that man. I started watching PLL when i was 14, i think and, even though i never shipped Ez*ia i thought their ‘story’ was cute at the beggining (and i even wrote fanfic based on them), Yikes! THANK GOD I GOT OLDER AND REALIZED THAT WAS SICK AND THE MAN WAS A PREDATOR. Do you imagine how others young girls at my age could’ve thought the same thing and NOT understand the seriousness of the situation? (well, we can see that rn, people still shipps that creepy guy with Aria). And then there’s Spencer with Wren and Ian. So much OLDER than her. AND we shouldn’t forget Jenna and Garrett. All four of them (Ali, Aria, Spencer and Jenna) were HYPERSEXUALIZED just BECAUSE they were a MINOR and they had a relationship WITH AN OLDER GUY. Don’t you see how wrong this is???? I mean, we talk about her clothes, Hanna’s clothes were reavealing sometimes but that doesn’t matter, the way a girl look have nothing to do with hypersexualization. DATING AN OLDER GUY IS. That’s number one thing i hate about PLL. There’s so much more problematic things but i’m so mad about Ez*ria getting married that i’m forgetting a lot of things. 

About the couples: Spoby was the only couple that made sense to me (and that’s weird cause they never happened in the books). I mean, their relationship was built from their friendship, and it wasn’t rushed, they started off as friends and Spencer teaching him french, and it just grows from that. I remember the first time i saw their first kiss, i was so happy i cried (no joke. to this day and forever i’ll cry over spoby, they’re my precious babies), besides the fact that they broke up in s5, i think, they’ll always come back to eachother cause they’re soulmates.

 About Haleb... they’re cute, i know Caleb care and love Hanna, BUT i just don’t particularly liked the way they started. That scene in the shower was too much for me and they obviously started cause there were physical attraction. After a while i think they became friends and all but... 

Em*son... don’t even get me started on Em*son. Emily was always loyal to Ali, even when she was dating Maya, and Paige (i’m so bitter over Paily you have no idea), anyways... she always was but old school Ali played with her. It was toxic (Ez*ia is toxic too, yk?), and you can say now that Ali’s changed and i saw some changes in her but not so much. She’s still manipulative. She manipulates Emily, Paige, the girls (i think except Spencer, but sometimes even her). Emily was dating Paige and, for someone who claims to have changed, Ali didn’t changed at all, I mean... she was being mean to Paige, saying things just so she could break up with Emily and leave Rosewood... that jealousy that i can’t understand and i won’t. I don’t think Ali loves Emily, not like that. I think Ali is just so used to Emily and the fact that she, wholeheartedly, loves her, that she thinks she’s in love with her as well. And didn’t help the fact that she was played by Archer Dunhill. I think she thinks she’ll never be happy in love, so she choose the easy way. I may be wrong about this, please don’t hate me or anything... it’s just the way i feel about her.

Oh, there’s other thing REALLY problematic about the show: They were NEVER alone. Season after season, breakup after breakup... they always had a date. I think this is sooooooo fucked up. Especially for young girls to watch, they’ll always think that having a boyfriend/girlfriend means happiness and that you should ALWAYS have one. Sometimes people need a break from relationships, yk? But with PLL....... the girls ALWAYS had someone. I could go on and on on this topic but... young girls don’t have to worry about having a bf/gf... if you don’t have one, that’s fine and totally acceptable. If you do, that’s fine too. Don’t look for someone if you JUST broke up or if you think you’re not ready for it. 

Anyways, just to wrap up... I’m happy that PLL finally ended, even tho i’ll miss Mona, and Spencer and Toby. I’m just kinda sad that they put Yvonne in the middle of this. I mean... why make Toby being engaged to her if he’ll come back to Spencer eventually, and WHY kill her? That was so unnecessary. Toby didn’t need to be with someone, he could be alone. And i was glad Spoby ended up the way they did (especially because, again, it wasn’t rushed, and then there’s the fact Yvonne died so,,, it would be really weird), but we all know they got back together like we saw in the last scene with the girls and i’m happy they did cause they’re my otp (although i really wanted a kiss)
