The southeastern part of what nowadays is the city of Espoo, Finland. A very rural place back then; torp is a small farm, gård a larger one, and by means "village".
I used to live somewhere between Friisilä (Frisans on the map), Kuitinmäki (Qvisbacka) and Matinkylä (Mattby).
Aalto University is located in Otaniemi (Otnäs on the map), as is the headquarters of Nokia.
