"The scene is this: you and I stand in the room that is the centre of my universe. The sculptures, the paintings, the walls enlivened by the spines of a thousand books. The grand piano plays the Lliirian Suites all by itself, and as we look out beyond the arches that lead to the terrace, we see the weary sun take its daily dive into the sea..."
Some photos I took of Gale's home in Waterdeep as shown during his romance scene! I'm a huge fan of drawing backgrounds, and seeing his living space was such a treat to me! Thought some interested artists might benefit from having these as well, so here you go!

I have to ask how you do gifs for bg3!! Do you record your whole gameplay then splice the moments, or do you just have a hotkey to screen record and how do you edit and augh i have so many questions, i'd love a quick lil tutorial (if you want!!). I wanna do my tav justice :')
Hi hi! Sorry this has taken me a while to get back to! I'm very very new to gif making, like, literally started making them on Dec 31st to count in the New Year hahaha, however, I've am blessed with many, many GIF maker friends that have been helping me and some of them have made really good tutorials and others have shared some really good tutorials, which I shall link here because I am in no place to make one myself, not yet anyways! [I have not used all of these, however these have been shared among friends and if anyone is getting into giffing you may find them helpful!] Tutorials: @snug-gyu - Colouring Tutorial @quokki - Full giffing process - tutorial @seonghwasblr - Tutorial @hanjesungs - Colour Table Tutorial @scoupsy-remade - Tutorial @renjunniez - Gif tutorial & extra tips @ashleysolsen - Giffing Masterpost @woozis - Tutorial @kangyeosaang - How to pan gifs & how to fix grainy gifs @theedorksinlove - Tutorial @saw-x - Guide for beginners @brainwasheds - Sharpening Gifs @jjnxs - Gifs on Gifs
Also this video helped a lot, which I helped me understand it better more easily. Though I make all my gifs in photoshop. For capturing I record my footage through OBS and import it into DaVince Resolve where I cut up the sections I want to use, because I record a lot at once so it's easier for me that way since I know my way around editing videos and then bring my photo editing skills in after in Photoshop to enhance them. But you can also do this in Photopea which is basically a free photoshop and the video I linked also covers how to use this website! I also film all of my stuff using Otis' freecam mod! I hope this helps! ❤ [I will keep adding to this list as my friends recommend me more, I find the more resources and different ways things are explained sometimes the better!]

I like to ask, what mod do you use for the camera angles with your gifs 👀
For science of course
I use Otis freecam software. It requires a subscription to their patreon though just so you know.

Hi! Firstly, I want to say that i absolutely love your screenshots. They’re amazing :) I also wanted to ask if maybe you have any advice, tips or basic mods recommendations for someone that wants to start taking screenshots in BG3? I’m trying with Freecam Mod but that’s all of my knowledge about it and I really would like to improve my skill.
Hi! Thanks for the compliment, that's great to hear.) I'm using Otis camera for high-quality screenshots. It is easy to use. This is guide for camera. Reshade is used to improve/replacement the game's color. The shaders and textures for Reshade can be downloaded here, but presets I create on my own. You can be downloaded presets for BG3 on nexusmods. I hope you will do it!

The Photomode in Dragon's Dogma 2 is .. well... its there. Tbh I have a very hard time to work with the original one because I just can't get into the controlls and the limitation of the camera. I'm so used to the photomode in Cyberpunk with the mods and all, its hard.
BUT thanks to Otis I at least have a free now! ♥
Here are some new pictures!

I'm still learning and I forget that I thank to the freecam don't have to stand close to him to get pictures of him. And I know its A BIG WISH, but I would love some poses + emotions. Or at least be able to undo my character because most of the time its awkward staring into nothing. Just standing there like here.

The two pawns here are by the way Alice and Mike :) I love them ♥ two of my favorites.

Hello! When using Otis camera mod and the dof addon shader, do you turn off the games own TAA (anti-aliasing) like he recommended? And another question about same topic, how do you get the hair to look so good when taking screenshots? I turned of the TAA but still think my hair/beards look very low quality and cartoony :(( I noticed when turning off the games own TAA my graphics settings automatically lowered themselves, so maybe I need to fiddle with the graphics a bit.. Anyway if you have any ideas or tips I would highly appreciate them. Thanks! (Also you’re a gem for this community, so kind of you to take your time and help people out!!)
Hi anon,
There's a bit of a weird thing with the camera in cutscenes, where you generally have to have TAA or DLAA turned on or the freecam won't move and will instead move the time of day (it's really weird). I'm not sure if it affects everyone, but it's affected enough of us that we're kind of stuff having to use those options, so I play with TAA on (my card doesn't support DLAA), and I know quite a few others do too.
The best thing for getting great looking hair in BG3 is to use the IGCS DoF, because the way it renders frames to get the final scene smooths out the hair beautifully. The second best thing is hotsampling, because the more pixels rammed into a small space the smoother things look.
I hope you're having a great day, anon :)

can you please tell me how you're getting the third person screenshots in the romance scenes?
first off send immeasurable amounts of love to @pinkydude for doing the model swaps of our fave characters to joytoys and to various romancable characters he’s actually a God
so I model swap Vik and Oda to many different characters so I can get the sweet sweet sex and smooch scenes. you can find a whole bunch from my mans ju and also @v-is-for-witch and theres some on nexus mods
next step is download TPP from nexus here - it’s the mod that allows you to go into third person
finally you’ll want to support Otis on patreon here for a program that allows you to activate freecam in cp2077
get all those, head to jigjig street and self care babeyyy

Hi! As someone who has extensively modded games like Skyrim and Fallout 4/New Vegas and Cyberpunk, all heavily, I just wanted to reach out after seeing your posts about the game being broken in a certain spot and you doing a fresh install. I wanted to share any and all tips I can think of right now for your future enjoyment of cp77 with mods! <3 So, after doing your fresh install, what I'd recommend is booting the game up and loading your save where its been crashing. If you can progress, assume its either a broken/outdated mod or a mod was installed incorrectly. Most mods are simple drag-and-drop into this location on your PC:
(or GOG or whatever platform you bought the game through; I have it on Steam so it goes through Steamapps where my Steam games are located) This is where any .archive mod goes, things like hair, clothing, cyberware, anything generally that you'd use to make an OC/V. The two mods that can be intimidating to install are AMM and Cyber Engine Tweaks.
This is the location for Cyber Engine Tweaks:
And this is where AMM goes:
I also have Appearance Change Unlocker and Character Customization Anywhere; both need CET so both go in the mods folder within CET. If you use that Otis Freecam mod, that doesn't go into the game, you can put that anywhere, I keep it on my desktop usually for easy access. CET has a wiki linked on the Nexus Mods page on how to install so I'd recommend following the steps and then testing in-game to ensure its working before adding AMM or other mods that rely on CET to run. If your game progresses since a clean install and you don't notice the same crash plaguing you, I'd suggest adding in your mods one at a time or a few at a time. That way you can see what's breaking that section for you; its time consuming and a pain in the butt but it is the most effective way to see what mod may be causing an issue. I'd suggest installing CET, test to ensure its working and there's no crash, then add AMM if you use it, and then checking if it crashes. If it does, something might be where it shouldn't be. If both work, then proceed with adding in your archive mods either one, or maximum, five at a time and see if you notice any issues arise. If you get all your mods back in and can't reproduce the crashing issue, then it might have been some game-bug or one-off error afksfkasfas. I apologize if this comes off ??? idk, as patronizing or infantilizing, that is not my intention, technical issues like this I find I best understand when someone explains it to me in a simple, A to B manner so I wanted to explain how I'd best understand it but I saw your post while in the tag and I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to just game with all your mods and have fun because you're now having to struggle with tech issues gskdgsdkgds xD I spent several days modding Skyrim extensively and testing to make sure everything was playing nice and by the time I got my mods installed, I was too burned out to really play lmaoo Anyways, sorry for writing a book KFSDKFSDF, I just wanted to offer any knowledge I have to help you now and potentially in the future! I'm sending you much love and positivity and I hope this helps and I hope that you can get back to Cyberpunking asap! <3 <3 <3
thank you so much for reaching out to answer my question! im so used to asking about tech problems and getting ignored now so i really, really appreciate you!
i actually had so many mods installed that im not sure how effective trying them 1 by 1 or a few a time would be. i'd probably get frustrated before i even found it lmao! especially since some mods come with multiple files that need to go in different folders. like there were mods i completely forgot about and wasnt even using. but whatever it was, i dont think i would have noticed it if i hadn't started a new character because it only happened that one time and every thing else has been completely fine, even on my other character.
i saved all the mods i knew i was currently using and put them in folders that would help me remember their install paths, then i uninstalled and reinstalled my game thinking that all the mods would be gone... NOPE! every single mod was still there! so that sucked because the reinstall took 4 hours. i ended up looking up how to do a fresh reinstall of cyberpunk and it told me to delete the mod folder, archive folder, and the r6 folder and then verify the files through steam. i wish i had known that before sitting through a pointless 4 hour reinstall lmao! after that i put back all the mods that i saved and ran the game and it was completely fine!
unfortunately you reached out after all this but im still so grateful! you are so sweet for reaching out and being so helpful! i didnt think you sounded rude at all either so dont worry!

Hi! Love your edits. Curious, what camera/lighting mod(s) are you using? Have you had any difficulty with them in game?
I use Otis freecam to get the angles I want. It is paid though through Patreon so keep that in mind. Other than that I sometimes turn on Reshade if I want a different colour scheme for some photos. All the lighting is vanilla though :3
The only issue I run into sometimes is having to turn off DOF but I've keybinded it to a toggle so it's not really much of an issue anyways.

How do you record and edit game footage without the UI getting in the way? Also what recording/editing software do you use?
Thanks for the question! I use OBS to record the game. Then I have a mod that makes most of the UI dissapear unless I hover over it or it's my turn in combat. On top of that I have the Otis freecam software (you do have to buy it on Patreon). That has a toggle that disables all UI (journal updates, contexual buttons on the side).
Then for editing I use capcut :3 Everything is free except the camera mod which I think is £6
