#mae overshares#on a positive note: i'm 10 years late to the party but i JUST started reading The Song of A//chilles#i mean...i know it was one of those tumblr favourites back when it first came out and idk if im lame for liking it#im definitely lame for reading it for the first time this fucking late#but hey. at least i finally got around reading it and....i just really enjoyed it so far#i wish i can bring this book to lunch break at work but i only have it as an e-book....i kept having e-book for books i actually loved#also. because of hades the supergiant game. i can't help but to visualize achilles and patroclus the way they look like in hades the game#well. less-jacked (since madaline repeatedly said they are both slender) & younger version (so far they are still both teens) of them#i really REALLY like their designs in hades....i've meaning to play hades forever. as i have been meaning to read SoA#and i think im finally ready....i cleaned up the cache on my laptop and i think it can handle running hades#hollow knight used to have horrible lagging issues when i run it and now. silky smooth. no lag in saving. no severe frame delays#i played the game for the first time last week after not playing for like a month. and i beat the patheon of master at godhome#it feel likes i suddenly got better at the game. sort of. i was in a headspace where i reacted better. for sure#but the lack of lagging definitely helps too. i think the next time i play the game im gonna get patheon of artist#the only hades posts on my blog so far are like 90% achilles and patroclus related#im so looking forward to play hades at last. im gonna haul achilles' ass back to patroclus. that's my goal#other than hanging out with eurydice and hauling her (sad clown) of a husband back to her#(i actually quite enjoy orpheus' character. but he does look like a sad clown with ruined mascara in the game. unfortunately)#sure i also care abt whatever zagerus has with his moody boyfriend (bc let's be honest he's more in lust with meg then in love with her)#but not as much i care abt the aforementioned couples. sorry#now im ready to get invested in hades the game at last im feeling kinda sad that a (tolkien) mutual unfollowed me#while i was on a m//dzs phrase. i didn't even like m//dzs all that much. and idk how i feel abt the fact that it costed me a mutual#a mutual that i like and wanted to talk to more. they may have unfollowed for some other reason tho. still. tragic
