So I’m done with Season 3 of the OTH podcast and here’s some more. Ugh here are some nuggets and they are disgusting and I may even include a trigger warning:

-Mark Schwann was IN LOVE Danneel Ackles (Rachel) and he was SO jealous she was dating Jensen Ackles (hot supernatural star who she later ends up marrying! ANYWAYS) that he did two things:

1.) Do you remember those fat pics of Rachel that Brooke put up to get back at Rachel? Well they were edited by Mark Schwann.

2.) Mark Schwann’s creepy ass tried turning the cast against Danneel and ironically it backfired and everyone turned on HIM. 😂 Fucking twit.

Also I love how the girls FINALLY started criticizing Mouth when they said his speech to Rachel during the storm episode of 3x13 was so selfish and it was Mark Schwann putting the words he wanted to say to Danneel through the mouth of a teenage boy.

Blech. “Can’t” wait to hear more about what went on behind the scenes and will see you all in Season 4.

Episode 3x13 of One Tree Hill is definitely in the top 5 for me of all oth episodes

I was listening to the oth podcast and I realized, as flawed as the oc is, at least it didn't have a love triangle between the main 4. It's one of the most enjoyable part of the show for me and it makes some episodes genuinely fun to rewatch like the mallpisode or the one in s1 where they all end up in marissa's room. Idk I used to have good memories of oth but rewatching it for the podcast, the triangle situation annoyed me to the point where I stopped watching/listening. Again, the oc definitely has a lot of problems but for a 2000s teen show it's nice not to have a triangle as one of the main storylines.

Agreed, that's part of what made the core four friendship so good and sweet. Those lines never came close to being crossed. The OTH triangle puts me off rewatching too even though I'm a brucas stan. I just can't stand the tension that particular triangle has. I could literally only view 2x01-3x13 in my rewatch last year. I've never really thought about it, but you're so right. Good on the show to never go there, honestly.
