I'm genuinely so baffled by people claiming that VoxVal have a Father-Daughter relationship with Velvette. Like, I understand she's short but no one's going around claiming that Lucifer is a Child™ like they do with Vel and Niftty. And also???

What kind of "daughter" starts taking selfies and filming when her "dads" are about to start fucking????? Its fine I guess if you're not into polyvees or voxvel but she's definitely not their or anyone elses kid. She's an adult women who sells date rape drugs, respect that ffs

I usually don’t care about authors and creators confirming fan theories or ships to be canon because I think most of the times it’s not the point of it.

Fandom is funny because you can make the characters do whatever you want them to without caring so much about what really happens on screen/on page, BUT looking around the tags I can’t help but hope that Vivzie will clearly state that the Vees are in a polycule because the amount of people saying that Velvette is Vox and Valentino pseudo-daughter is just terrible. Why do you have to infantilize her? (Same goes with Nifty as Angel and Husk’s or Alastor’s pseudo-daughter)

The fact that she’s shorter than Vox and Val doesn’t mean she’s a child! I really hope she’ll exchange tongue with Vox and Val is season 2 so people will stop to say she’s their daughter!

I have my personal headcanon about her being aromantic and mostly attracted to men and I don’t really ship her with Carmilla, but people who ship the two of them together don’t infantilize her so that’s ok too!

A concept I want to write a fic about is Huskerdust going public with all the following “celeb dating regular Joe - who turns out to be not so regular Joe” Sinstagram shenanigans. But I want to write it from Velvette’s POV because think about the consequences for the Vees and the power that would give to Velvette over Valentino!

And also how Vox would react to how Angel’s contact has been phrased to allow him dating people when he’s off the clock and really, I think it would be super interesting to write so, yeah, I eventually will

Vox and Valentino are not Velvette's father figures, holy shit. First of all, found family doesn't mean nuclear family roles, so if you want them to be found family don't immediately latch onto that. Second of all, if you must assign one of them the 'child' role, the one closest to being a ward that the other two care for is Valentino. Third, the three of them are literally peers and see each other as equals to the greatest extent a bunch of egotistical assholes can.
