ar-are you fucking kidding me? 1 scene and like 4 lines… THAT’S IT!?!
ONE SCENE of Oscar TELLING us Neo attacked him!? Don’t get me wrong I’m glad my baby is safe and all, even if he’s a bit roughed up, but seriously? WTF happened to “show don’t tell?” His encounter and fight with Neo could have been so good for both characters, but nooooo! Team JNR have to come in and “save” him cause he totally hasn’t been training his butt off for the past few weeks or so. Not only that, but you telling me Oscar got attacked by Neo and Ozpin just didn’t help? WTF!? Maybe he’s being a stubborn old wizard boi but come on! Look how dirty Oscar is! That fight had to have been pretty rough, but our wizard just sat back and let Oscar get attacked and let the attacker take the relic? I might be over reacting here but I honestly don’t care! Oscar is an interesting character and probably one of the most important characters, but he just keeps getting written off to the side. We barley if even at all, see his development as a character. We get hints of his development, we get hints of his progress, but we only ever see the aftermath (if you can call it that) of his character’s “development” we never actually see it or the process of it. Again, I’m probably overreacting but this is a load of fat load crap, and frankly my son deserves better……..
