Imagine Oscar coming to your house after a fight and its your brother Jamal who opens the door.

“ Ahhh!!!!! “ your brother Jamal opened the door after hearing the doorbell ring and when he saw Oscar he got so scared that he coudl only react by screaming and closing the door again. 

You  were in your bedroom writing your new essay for college when you heard your brother screaming and you ran to the living room throwing your laptop to the other side of the bed , when you got to your brother side you saw how panicked he was and you got scared. 

“ Jamal what happened ?! who was is it? are you okay? “ You looked at your brother scared expression and you looked at the door since he couldnt form any words that make sense. “for god sake who is it at the door? I will see for myself” 

You rolled your eyes and sighed heavily going to the door and opening , when you saw Oscar standing there , you got suprised since after the fight he told you he didnt want to see you again , you frowned after and stood with your arms crossed over your chest with Jamal behind you trying to see what was about to happen.

“ What?! are you kidding me Jamal? you screamed because of him? when are you going to stop being a drama queen ? I think instead of going to football I will ask for mom and dad to sign you up in a drama class who knows if you get an Oscar for yourself” You chuckled at Jamal realizing what you said and he sent you a death glare before going to seat on the couch with the rest of his friends.

“we need to talk y/n , quickly because I have things to do” Oscar spoke coldly at you trying to make you feel like you have to make his will come true.

“ You see Oscar , or Spooky whatever I call you now , we are not going to talk because I have things more important to do today and I have a date to get ready for so please leave and go back to do whatever you want, because this hyna “ you pointed to yourself mocking him for what he called the last time you two talked , “ have shit to get ready so if you want you are more than welcome to enter and stay with the kids and your brother if you dont want then leave  “

“ what the fuck? you told you you could go on a date? qho the fuck is the guy? you know what I will wait here and wait for him to come “ Oscar smirked and pushed through you brushing against your arm and sitting on the same spot he always did when he came to your house

you sighed and rolled your eyes closing the door and looking at Jamal who was sitting really close to Oscar and you just went to your room locking the door behind you and grabbing your laptop again continue where you left out, meanwhile Jamal looked at Oscar scared and tried to say something to lighten up the mood.

“ So , do you want something? tea?coffee?water ? a massage to relax? Im really good at it” Oscar looked at Jamal with a weird look and the others did also making Cesar laugh.

sooo here are some theories about the ending of season three

1.) monse: i mean, i think it’s pretty obvious. she moved to a different state and started a new school. of course she was going to have new friends. i’m sure she still cares about ruby, jamal, and cesar but i’m guessing she just drifted from them, and maybe she still talks to them. i think if something really bad happened, then she wouldn’t even have that picture anymore. so maybe she’s just a bit disconnected from them, but she seems happy.

2.) oscar: obviously, he somehow left the santos and started a new life THAT HE DESERVED!! and i have no problem with that, except that cesar isn’t with him. cesar would be 17 so why couldn’t he follow oscar out of the hood? but he seemed so happy and like himself, and i’m glad that he has someone to love and he’s gonna have a chance at being a real dad.

3.) jamal: i honestly don’t even know. my guess is that with whatever went down between him, ruby, and cesar, he felt like he needed a new group so he tried football again. i guess he felt like it was his only option because he literally hated football in season one sooo, yeah that’s all i got.

4.) ruby: we literally know nothing except the fact that he’s with jasmine, he likes emo music now, and him and jamal aren’t friends anymore. my guess is that something happened and it was so bad that he started relating to bands like the misfits.

5.) cesar: i saw this theory that cesar doesn’t like change, and while monse and oscar either left or had different lives now, he didn’t want change or he felt like he wasn’t included or wanted. and we saw that he was getting mad that spooky wanted to keep the peace, which means that cesar cares about the santos and what they do to the other gangs. we’ve seen that side of him, the one that is willing to kill, the one that acts like a gang member who actually cares about the gang. at first i thought that maybe he was trying to be like lil ricky and turn the santos into a gang that didn’t believe in violence, one that wanted to protect the hood, and i still think that’s a possibility. maybe when oscar left the santos, cesar saw an opportunity. or maybe he gave up and lost hope because something bad happened. maybe something happened that cause the group to drift apart, and they all scrambled to other groups that accepted them and made them feel comfortable. maybe ruby and jamal left cesar when he starting leading los santos, and that’s what caused the rift. who knows. my best guess is that something had to happen in those two years and it was bad enough to make everyone switch up and drift away.

Damn I whish you were here

Everyone remember thst night clearly , the night were you got shot by latrelle and didnt make it , when Cesar told you he loved you for the first time , now Cesar could only think about how he never got to give you the last kiss and make things official beetween you two , it was killing him inside that he was never going to see you smile again or laugh like he loved so much , how everytime he passed by your house he would saw your parents crying in your room in your bed when the window was open , he missed you more that he ever thought he would and he couldnt handle that pain it was too much for him to bare and the crew knew it like damn even Oscar knew it but Cesar didnt let nobody come close to him or seeing him crying.

Cesar was walking alone to school a routine that seemed normal to him now with his eadphones in his ears and head bow down feeling numb to the pain he was feeling that day , in the end of the street he saw his friends and immediatly the crew ran to him being goofys to make him smile but Ruby looked at him and told all of them to stop and just gave a hug to Cesar tight has he could and walked by his side quiet respecting the state of spirit of his best friend.

¨you know man , you could take some time off from school and have some time for yourself and visit y/n in her grave or talk with her parents, it would be good bor you to have some disclosure about those feelings , I know you loved her and trust me she loved you too but she wont come back and she would like for all of us to stay here and make the best of our lifes and try to be happy, she wouldnt like to see you like that Cesar ,I dont like to see you like that , neither of us does.” Ruby spoke softly and with a lot of pain his voice trying to contain the tears that started to form in his eyes , he looked at his friend in a glance and saw Cesar face , he was not the same anymore and Ruby knew that his friend blamed himself for the death of the girl he loved since he didnt kill Latrelle like his brother order him to do and on top of that he was kicked out of the Santos , so Cesar didnt have much to look forward to.

“ stop ok man!” Cesar stopped on his tracks and looked at all of his friends with now an angry look on his face. “ stop making me feel like I am the victim when you know i fucked everything up! If i was man enough to kill Latrelle y/n would still be alive , i could walk with her today hand in hand and smiling with her , we could do all that we planned , we could be a whole crew again , so stop making me feel like I didnt have any fault in this because I do! I was the one who sentenced her to her death and everybody knows ,  she was my girl so what the hell was I expecting ?! you guys have no idea what it is to go to sleep and the only thing i have from her is voice mails , pictures , memories , I cant even look at her parents because I know that they hate me for what I am or was , you guys have no idea of what it is to feel empty again , damn Ruby you got shot and look at you , you are not the same anymore so I even messed up my best friend head with my issues . I just ... damn i wish you were y/n.. I miss her so much man, she was my soulmate i knew it , she could handle my life both side of it , she always had something positive to say about whatever it was , even Oscar took a like on her and now I am in the street living because not even my brother wants me to live in his house anymore , Ruby I want her back so bad man , I cant live like this , i cant it hurts to much..” 

Cesar broke down in tears infront of his friends for the first time and all of them came to give a big hug letting him cry all his pain and anger knowing for how long he was holding on those emotions inside. Monse back it up a little and wiped her tears fast before going to her backpack and take the letter that y/n wrote for Cesar confession her love for him and with that she made a video to suprise Cesar on his birthday . 

“hey i think its time for you to see this, she made this video so everytime you wanted her close to you no matter where you two were she was always going to be by your side and this letter is for you to see for yourself what she feels, it doesnt matter if she is not here physically , she is here in our hearts and arounds us , she was part of us and always will be and has long we have these little things to hold on to her she will never leave us or be gone forever.¨ 

Monse gave Cesar a small smile and played the video on her phone showing all of them laughing and playing around , Cesar couldnt hold the little smile forming on his lips even though his heart was tight and tears were streaming slowly down his face. Y/n was now on the room with Monse and she didnt knew that she was being recorded when she was talking about Cesar and he smirked at her blushing when mentioning him.

“oh god Monse he is so sweet and so cute, I mean that boy is more than cute but i dont want to ruin our friendship with confessing my feelings , I fell in love with him for his smile , for his eyes the way they sparkle when he is laughing , oh god that laugh makes me feel like a little girl on christmas time , Oscar knows I love him and he laughed even though he said we would make a cute couple but what can i do? i dont want things to go awkward beetween the group. Everytime that I am with him time stops and i dont want ever to leave, if I could i would sleep in his arms for the rest of my life because to be honest i have never felt so safe with someone like i feel with him, even though he has the life he has in the gang I dont care, everyone has a past and has some kind of legacy to make or continue and I believe he just wants to fit in with his brother , I love him so much Monse and if you knew how my heart beats when I see him you would think this is from a movie or something , I am sorry im just rambling and being annoying , sorry Monse”

Cesar broke down once again and hold the letter to his lips kissing it tears never stop flowing and everyone was crying at the same time , they all loved her for her kindness, she was the neutral one of the group , always ready to help everyone without wanting nothing in return but seeing the others happy and that is what Cesar loved the most about her , he looked at Monse and nodded to her in a way to say thank you and she looked at him the same way crying , Jamal sniffed and looked behind to see Oscar in his yard looking at his little brother with this heart broken , Oscar started to walk over and Jamal gave a small scream hidhing behind Ruby like he was his savior . 

“ We need to talk lil’ spooky” Oscar tried to keep his posture and cesar looked at him with his eyes red and puffy from crying and Oscar couldnt see his brother like that , he broke his posture and gave a hug to his brother making him know he was there to support him.

“ Im so sorry for what happened to you but I can promise you something , we are going to fix this and give you and y/n the peace you guys deserve. She was a nice girl actually i liked her , she had this aura about her that made her easy to talk to , so if you still want we are going to end with the prophets for good and honor her memory hermanito. Por ti y por tu amor que tienes a ella , sabis bien lo que tienes que hacer por iso para de llorar , Im here for you , you didnt lost everything.¨ 

Oscar whispered in his brother ear and like that Cesar still had some hope for him, he didnt lose everyone he loved and damn right he was going to finish with the prophets , he was going to make them pay for what they did to his princess and no matter what from now on Cesar was going to make whatever it takes to rebuilt her honor and memory so it can prevale forever like he wanted.

‼️ON MY BLOCK SEASON THREE SPOILERS‼️

sorry for putting spoilers out the day it came out but i really need to rant

i expected soooo much out of this season. i was so excited for it. but i’m not gonna lie, i’m soooo disappointed. there were a lot of moments and scenes i liked, but most of it felt rushed and there were a lot of plots that weren’t explained or were unfinished. imma make a list of everything that didn’t make sense.

1.) that first episode. i get that they were trying to be funny, and i was laughing at some points, but i mainly just found it weird and like they were taking the funny/weird element of the show and bringing it to a whole new level. it completely changed the vibe tbh. it kinda felt like everyone was out of character and they were trying to make the show into something it wasn’t but idk.

2.) that whole kidnapping thing was wrapped up real quick 💀

3.) monse and cesar basically getting back together instantly. don’t get me wrong, i love this couple, but they always get right back together instead of really working out their problems and taking time. it’s predictable.

4.) MONSE KISSING OSCAR. i get that she was drunk and emotional and he was comforting her, but she literally spent that whole episode trashing oscar (for literally no reason) and then she kissed him??? that didn’t need to happen AT ALL and it literally had no impact on the story. cesar didn’t even care.

5.) jamal and kendra. i like that we saw jamal get a love interest, but she just showed up and they had sex and we didn’t even get to know her?? like literally who is this (cute/weird) bitch and where did she come from?? it was all rushed and unexplained and didn’t make sense. it felt more like the writers wanted to please the fans but didn’t give us a good storyline about jamal’s first “relationship”.

5.) oscar and cesar’s dad. we got no explanation for why the santos/cuchillos turned on him, why he was in jail, none of that. i wished we could’ve gotten to know him and seen him with his kids more.

6.) lil ricky. okay we been knew he was alive, but we never REALLY found out why cuchillos wanted him, and we didn’t even find out who he was or where he was hiding!!! like don’t advertise a whole season about something and not follow through with it.

7.) jasmine and ruby. in season two, they had an amazing emotional connection and then in season three they made it VERRRRYYY sexual and that’s basically the only reason they got together. also those porno visions were super unnecessary.

8.) the 19th street gang. who are they, why are they all 15, how could they “take down” spooky (a grown man), and why were they so important even though we didn’t know shit about them??? they caused a major problem for oscar but we didn’t even get to understand this gang and what they wanted. it’s like the writers were trying to replace the prophets but that doesn’t make any sense to get rid of a gang just to bring another one in.

9.) monse’s mom dying. even though i hated this bitch, i think monse (and all of us tbh) deserved to see real closure between them. because monse’s mommy issues didn’t stop when she cut julie out of her life. it seemed like they just wanted wrap up that loose end and add some drama.

10.) THOSE ENDINGS. bruh i could talk shit about this for hours. as soon as i saw that “2 years later” shit i was like...wtf?? i hate when shows do that because all it does is make the audience confused and pissed off

11.) i understood monse’s ending and i wasn’t that mad about it. sure, i was sad to see that she obviously didn’t care about her old friends as much as her new friends, but she still had that picture so i wasn’t too scared. and she seemed happy so that’s a good thing.

12.) THEN we saw jamal. wearing a goddamn football jersey and talking to the football guys. HE LITERALLY HATES FOOTBALL. how could that have changed??? and he’s too weird to be in any other friend group like it doesn’t make sense. and it’s obvious him and ruby aren’t friends anymore which SUCKS because those two are like brothers.

13.) ruby and jasmine are still together (which surprised me tbh) and he turned emo. i ain’t mad but i think we deserved to see more of his ending.

14.) oscar’s ending was a good one and i was happy to see him be himself and get the life he deserved. it just doesn’t make sense how in the last two seasons and the beginning of this one, he was a die hard santo. i understand he wanted out when he found out about cuchillos, his dad, and the whole 19th street thing. it kinda happened fast and unexpected tho. his ending should have come later in the series, and cesar should’ve been with him. which leads me to...

15.) CESAR’S ENDING!!!! how could he (supposedly) lead a gang at 16/17??? why would he fully emerge himself in a gang he didn’t want to be in??? boy can’t even shoot a gun at someone so how could he take over los santos? and why would oscar allow that?? he spent his entire life trying to keep his brother safe and now he’s living the good life while cesar is in more danger than ever? he’s living the life he never wanted and it’s not fair. it makes ZERO sense.

okay i’m done. i just think this season was rushed and a lot of it didn’t make sense. we need explanations. it feels like a whole different show. they could’ve gone on for soooo many seasons but that ending fucked it up. if we get a season four, it better explain everything and fix it.

also i loved seeing oscar in every episode and seeing him as a main character. even though i feel like they didn’t use his full potential, he was literally one of the very few good parts of this season. i wish we got to see his life more and get to know him though.

so yeah that’s where i’m at, what about you guys??

sooo i’ve posted about this before but i just wanna say it again

ya know in season one when oscar told cesar to shoot latrelle and everyone hated him bc of it? well i just wanna say...what else was he supposed to do? he didn’t know how to do anything else. he was stuck in this gang life, one with codes and rules, and he has to play by them and live his life that way. kind of like in the very first episode when cesar cries to monse about how he’s never gonna get out of freeridge and the gang, bc him and his family have been surrounded by it for years. it’s the same with oscar. they both only know los santos and how they operate. they’ve never lived any other kind of lifestyle, because there was never really a choice. they had to survive in freeridge without parents and they’re family was already deeply affiliated with a gang. they don’t have any other options, and we really saw that in season three with cuchillos. oscar was not in charge. he did not make decisions. he may have been the leader of los santos, but he was a pawn for cuchillos and had to follow every order unless he wanted to get him and cesar killed. so every bad decision oscar made that put cesar in harms way was just the better of two evils. it was either get his first kill over with so he’s protected or have him get shot. it was either kick him out of the house or cuchillos would probably have him murdered. yeah, cesar was homeless, and that’s absolutely terrible, but he was alive. and that was the best oscar could do for him, because any other option just simply wasn’t possible. before season three, there was no way oscar could get him and cesar out of freeridge and leave los santos. they needed to get rid of cuchillos. SO GIVE OSCAR SOME SLACK, THE MAN WAS A PUPPET FOR GODS SAKE. also i know cesar is still in the gang (for whatever reason 🙄) but honestly if oscar got out, then i’m thinking that cesar definitely had the chance and the option to get out with him. so it’s probably his decision that he stayed 🤷���‍♀️

oscar fic recommends and warnings

sooo i read a lot of oscar fanfiction on wattpad and i figured i could give you guys some recommendations of good ones and warnings about others. btw, most of these are by wulfiejamie on wattpad, she has like 60 stories about oscar lmao.

RECOMMENDS:

1.) I Like It Like That - wulfiejamie. Really the only thing that someone would find “wrong” with this story is that oscar’s s.o. is 13 while he’s 16, so if that’s something you’re not comfortable with then don’t read lol. but other than that, the story is really cute and well written. it has funny parts and adorable parts. there’s also some smut btw. 

2.) Give Me You - wulfiejamie. Really good story, oscar is a dad which is fucking adorable and his s.o. has a son of her own and they become a family. it’s really cute but also has some emotional scenes, some arguments and stuff. also some violence and abuse but not oscar inflicting on his girl.

3.) Unscathed - rocclobster. FUCKING ADORABLE. the main girl is so cute and sweet and oscar is, well, oscar lmaooo. she’s new to freeridge and becomes a part of the squad and then starts hanging around oscar. honestly this story isn’t very far along yet but it’s so well written and i can’t wait to see what happens because i love it so much already. 

4.) No Te Enamores - wulfiejamie. sooo there’s a lot of bullying in this story and some is like...explicit. but other than that it’s very sweet and oscar and his girl are very cute together. btw she’s pregnant and underage, that’s not a spoiler cause you find out in the first chapter and it’s what the whole book is about lmao,

5.) Kaleidoscope - wulfiejamie. oscar is such a cutie in this story. so is everyone, really. but basically the main girl is blind and new to the country and is staying with ruby since they’re family. oscar becomes her friend and they’re so cute together. but there’s also some bullying and violence against her in this fic and it’s kinda sad, but if you’re okay with reading that then i highly recommend.

6.) Destino - wulfiejamie. THIS BOOK HAS MY HEART. it’s really emotional and the main girl is grieving and has a kid, oscar kinda steps up and they become a family. it has some violence ofc but not much else to warn you about, besides smut and mention of rape but that last part isn’t in detail.

7.) Ayudame - wulfiejamie. Lots of violence, nudity and shit like that but really well written and it’s pretty different from her other stories. the main girl and oscar become fast friends and protect each other. highly recommend!

8.) Vagabond - wulfiejamie. there’s domestic violence and rape in this story, also smut. oscar and the main girl are really cute together and they go through a lot. it’s a very emotional story and basically oscar is helping her get out of a messed up situation she’s been in for too long. 

WARNINGS:

1.) Hood Fever series - wulfjamie. THIS SERIES IS FUCKING GORY. there’s a lot of killing, a lot of violence, especially violence against women. i read the first book and didn’t finish the second for a lot of reasons. since the series is 3 books long and each is over a 100 chapters, there’s a lot of repeated storylines and it gets boring and annoying. oscar cheats a lot and they break up a lot and it’s very toxic. then in the second book it gets weirdly sexual with their friend group. like every guy in the gang wants to fuck oscar or they all want a threesome with oscar and his girl, and a threesome was starting in the second book and that’s when i stopped reading. so it basically made me uncomfortable and if you don’t like those things, then DO NOT READ THIS SERIES.

2.) Ven Aca - wulfiejamie. sooo i actually like this story but one things bothers me A LOT. oscar and the girl meet when she’s 12 and he's 17. they don’t have any sexual contact but it’s obvious that they’re flirty and falling in love and shit. then oscar goes to jail and comes out when he’s 19 and she’s 14. she has a boyfriend and she cheats on him with oscar, like a fucking 14 year old and a 19 year old are having sex. in a lot of wulfiejamie’s stories, the girl is underage, but normally only by like a year or two. but 12 and 14, this crosses the line, don’t you think?

3.) Es Complicado - wulfiejamie. i honestly didn’t finish this story because it was pissing me off lmaoo. idek what to say about oscar and the main girl cause you go through a whole book of them kinda hating each other but needing each other and they’re denying their feelings, and you genuinely can’t understand what’s going on between them. it’s fucking weird. they change their minds a lot and honestly it gives me a headache. 

4.) Tattoo Artist - onmyspooky. sooo this kinda starts when oscar was in jail and the main girl was raped by prophets and her son was a product of that. the santos protect her without oscar knowing. when he gets home, him and the girl go out on dates and he hangs around her son. but he literally just wants sex. that’s it. so he orders the santos to stop protecting her and she gets raped again, and oscar literally doesn’t give a shit he just wants to fuck her. i stopped reading after that because oh my fucking god that’s horrible. 

SOOO YEAH those are my recommends and warnings. sorry it was so long lol. i get that oscar and on my block deal with uncomfortable shit but sometimes fanfics take that and run with it and tbh i hate it lmao. and i’m not saying that these people are bad writers and should feel bad, idk i just wanted to warn some of you guys since i wasn’t warned lol.

olivia wasn’t THAT bad

before y’all scroll after reading the title i just want you to give me a sec and explain okay

it’s perfectly fine to hate ronni hawk because she’s a hoe ass bitch, but the character she played wasn’t as bad as everyone thinks.

a lot of people hate on her because they think she was oblivious to monse and cesar, that she led ruby on, blah blah blah. and i can see that, but i’ve rewatched this show so many times that i can’t see how olivia is to blame for most of the relationship drama.

1.) monse told olivia that her and cesar were just friends. maybe it wasn’t completely convincing, maybe it wasn’t true, but that’s what she was told. not her fault that she believed her best friend. olivia never helped cesar cheat, because monse and cesar weren’t together. y’all seem to forget that monse and cesar had sex while he was with olivia. THAT’S CHEATING. and in the end, OLIVIA’S THE REASON WHY MONSE FINALLY STARTED A REAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CESAR, AND WHY THEY WERE TOGETHER IN SEASON TWO. she saw that cesar and monse clearly liked each other, and instead of getting mad and jealous, she maturely broke up with cesar (on her birthday btw) and told monse to be with him. i mean i don’t love this character a whole lot like the rest of y’all, but that’s awesome. i could never.

2.) leading ruby on...more like not reciprocating feelings??? she was nice to him because they were friends, that’s not leading someone on. and yeah, after a while she knew about his feelings, but she liked cesar. she didn’t like ruby. it wasn’t her responsibility to make sure ruby got the girl he wanted.

my point is, this character wasn’t an amazing piece of work, but she’s not horrible. the actress is.

how seasons 1 & 2 fucked with oscar’s character/storyline

first things first: i just realized the parallels with oscar’s character in the two seasons. 

in the first episode of both seasons, oscar’s portrayed as a deadly cholo who doesn’t give two shits about cesar’s safety (which is why most people hate him). in season one, the squad is terrified of oscar, he jumped his 14 year old brother in one of the biggest gangs in the city, and the writer’s portrayed him as a pedophile, so dock some more points there. in season two, cesar is homeless and oscar says that he doesn’t know him anymore and acts like an asshole in front of the gang, which is really embarrassing and traumatizing to a 14 year old, so dock some more points.

basically, at the start of both seasons, it’s like we’re supposed to hate oscar, like that’s what the writers want. i kinda think that’s reflecting of what most people think/feel when they first meet or see a gang member but idk if that’s what they’re intending.

but then, in both seasons, towards the middle/end, oscar gets some scenes that show his humanity and emotions. season one with the beach scene and season two with the “i love you, mano” scene and the whole plan and last episode. so we know that oscar cares about his brother and loves him very much. he’ll do anything to protect him. 

so what i want to establish is this: whenever oscar is acting like an asshole who doesn’t care about his baby brother, it’s a fucked up way of protecting him. if oscar didn’t do “gang protocol” when he got out of jail, when latrelle pulled a gun, and when cesar lied and let latrelle go, that would have made him look soft and that’d be dangerous for both of them. 

in season two, we know that cuchillos made the call for cesar to be kicked out, and oscar HAD to follow that order. and a lot of people hate oscar because of that scene in the first episode with the gang. but like...how else was he supposed to act? he can’t act like he cares about someone who he put off in front of los santos. the gang would think he’s soft, and what if cuchillos found out? so i think that he obviously cared about his brother’s safety, but he couldn’t show it. maybe he was trying to plan something all along, maybe he didn’t push himself to do anything until cesar visited him and he finally got to talk to him. a lot of people think that oscar didn’t give a shit about cesar but i really can’t believe that, especially since he risked his life and his place in los santos just to get him back home.

okay now i want to talk about the last oscar scene in season two. so, cesar tells oscar that he isn’t a killer and he wasn’t made for this life. and oscar didn’t say anything, he didn’t give an answer. so we really don’t know if cesar is going to stay in the gang (if he ever gets back from being kidnapped i mean shit we don’t know anything about that mess). but i’m sure oscar already knows that cesar is never going to be a hard ass cholo. he just didn’t want to hear it because he doesn’t know if he can protect cesar if he’s not in the gang. but i think that after everything that’s happened, he won’t put cesar in another dangerous situation again, or at least he’ll try harder to avoid it. 

my whole point is: WE DID NOT GET ENOUGH OSCAR SCENES TO ACTUALLY GET TO KNOW THE DEPTH OF HIS CHARACTER. we were left with a lot of questions about him at the ends of both seasons. personally, i think there’s a lot of signs that point to him caring and protecting cesar in the only way he knows how. i don’t think he’s heartless, i don’t think he didn’t care about cesar being homeless. i think oscar is a good person who does a lot of fucked up things. i think he’s smart, but can’t come up with a brilliant solution to fix cesar’s problems right away. which is true for the squad, they spend every moment of their lives trying to save cesar and can’t pull through until the last minute. another point: ITS NOT EASY TO SAVE SOMEONE IN THESE SITUATIONS NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LOVE SOMEONE. oscar did the best he could, and i believe if we got more information about how he was really handling cesar being homeless, people wouldn’t hate him so much.

honestly i just want a storyline about oscar that doesn’t have anything to do with cesar. like can we please get something more from this character other than “gang leading older brother”??? he has so much potential and it better not be wasted in season three

omg i was reading this oscar fanfic series and deep into the second book oscar and his girl were basically starting a threesome with their friend and i was like FUUUUCKKKK NOOOOO and removed those books from my library 💀 sometimes these oscar fics get waaaay too wild and cross too many lines for me 🤢
