Prep for the Rustic Kickback event on Saturday June 26th! #Repost from #Facebook (Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club of Paducah, KY) Up at 6:30 am, this is how these teens started their day early this morning at Phonograph Farms. When most are sleep, they were up with Rocia's and George Wilson for this weekend’s event. Afterwards, they went to work at the Club for our summer camp until 5 pm. They then had practice for this weekend’s AAU basketball tournament. After practice, they helped me gather material for the community event at Tilghman tomorrow morning. They made it home just before 9 pm. Regardless of the perception, our youth in this community are good kids/young adults. We just have to continue to put them around good people who can create growth opportunities for them. I am so proud of these guys and the growth they are showing this summer.
