Oscar still would have won without team orders. They pitted Lando first with the plan to swap them back, if they didn't want to use team orders they would have pitted Oscar first and put Land at risk of coming 3rd.

The reason Lando didn't win was because he made a mistake at the start, Mclaren did the kind thing for Lando by pitting him first. Though i totally see from Landos perspective why he wouldn't want to give P1 back even if he didnt get it on merit.

Nothing can taint a first win, lets gooooo oscaaaaaar!!!

I genuinely feel like Oscar’s first win has been tainted by this.

He is an amazing driver he will win many more times. But having your first win on pure team orders when you probably wouldn’t have won without it is disheartening.

This is not taking away from Oscar’s victory, well done to him but it was upsetting to see.
