i think my favorite moment in bg3 is
Duties, duties, duties. Patrolling and saluting and following and bowing and scraping and 'yes, sir, no, sir, rip and cut your throat, sir'. Your plan is falling apart, lordling. Give me a reason not to cut you to ribbons.

Howdy Jesse!
How’s life? Hope you’re doin well!
Ok so I’m curious- what kind of music do you listen to? Like beyond the obvious Starkid/TCB/musical songs, what kinda tunes do you vibe to? What genres? What bands/artists?
Ok that’s all, ty, have a nice day :))))
Heya Ricky!! Thank you for the ask!
I love these sm they feel like getting little letters from a pen-pal. You know I tend to ramble when I answer asks but I worry that it might be discouraging to those thinking of sending me asks, so I'll try to keep this below book-length.
I'm doing great. Working on a director's proposal for school right now which is like, one of my favorite things /gen. And though it's gotten cold again in NY we're still having very sunny weather so you've caught me in a good mood as I'm writing this.
I do listen to a lot of Musical songs. But I also love rock and alt music, or at least that's what Apple Music says I'm always listening to. I love Hozier and Queen especially but there are still plenty of stragglers on my playlists from my Imagine Dragons and Lemon Demon phases. I'm trying to get into more music by The Cramps and They Might Be Giants. Oh and Will Wood, he's had a bit of a chokehold on my brain since one of my friends recommended 2econd 2ight 2eer for my Orin Scrivello playlist, and also since I first saw a picture of him and thought he was some sort of rad, punk rock drag king. oh and that Orin Playlist has also sent me on a bit of an Elvis kick. Okay that did turn into a bit of a list but anyways yeah that's what's bouncing around in my head atm! :]

*realises it's Tuesday* *stumbles into the suit and picks up the microphone as she stands up*
HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME BACK TO TUESDAY INTERVIEW!
I'm your host Annie and today we're back with our favourite and most adorable writer, Summer!!!
(if you never hear from me again, they've probably killed me for calling them cute... ANYWAY!!!)
Recently we had a new, beautiful update on our screens: "Knife of Insight", a one shot starring our favourite vampire spawn, Astarion, and the absolutely stunning Zayis. Other than the amazing banter that we've come to expect from the knife fight pairing, this amazing piece of writing deals with themes of dissociation and, as always, is masterfully written and digs deep into everyone's hearts and emotions. If you've loved "A Lover's Folly", you will adore this one shot.
"Knife of Insight" is not only a new addition to the Zaystarion canon that we've all come to love, but is also a big change to "Curse You!", the fic that was starring them. As you can check also in this post here, the fic format has been adandoned and will take a more one-shot style, without a linear and chronological style. As already said, you can check the original post, but Summer: what did make you opt for this change? And, for those of us who did read the first two chapters of "Curse You!", does this change erase what we've already read?
Other than this, we've seen an exponential amount of Rolan-related reblogs around. It seems the snarky tiefling wizard managed to infiltrate another heart - and hopefully many more, he's still highly underrated, in my personal opinion. But Summer, do tell us, what do you like about Rolan? How does he make you feel?
AND NOW, for our final minigame... a classic! Fuck, marry, kill: BG3 edition. The floor is yours, Summer. Enjoy <3
hi <3 i'm late but i'm here to answer this tuesday interview before the next one arrives so that counts for something, right??
to answer your curse you question, i just wasn't feeling inspired with the linear format. especially because i was already doing that with lover's folly, i wanted something else a little less structured that i could pop in and out of when i wasn't feeling inspired.
in regards to the chapters i've previously previous posted, i wouldn't say they're erased completely. i definitely think i'm going to rewrite the first one a bit. adjust some things to my liking more, but overall the kidnapping portion is still very similar!
moving onto more important things though...
rolan literally has me in a chokehold right now. i love that stupid snarky wizard man. i don't know what it is about him but i just want to put him in my pocket. to quote our darling nick miller, he's just got that perfect, "keep being mean to me and i swear to god i'm gonna fall in love with you" vibe. you know????
anyway, moving on to fuck, marry, kill. i assume since you didn't give me anyone to choose from for myself so i'm going to go with fuck rolan, marry astarion, and kill orin i guess???

First Full Run
97 hours. Last night, I've finally done it, after Baldur's Gate 3 has had me in a chokehold since the game was gifted to me a month ago.
Balanced mode, Pure Draconic Fire Sorcerer Dark Urge. I am so pleased!
Next, tactician build suggestions, anyone? Preferably high charisma. Can't decide between a Swords Bard (because it seems fun! And generally in games, I just like being able to talk my way out of accidental fights before starting said fight on my own terms), a Canon Durge-Adjacent Blue Draconic Lightning Sorc (because charisma too, and having done a sorcerer in my first run just made my heart swell with pride and I just like magic) and a Stealth Archer build (because in the end, it's alllllllll Skyrim. Can't decide if I should go Ranger or Rogue for this one).
Oh my first full run was so much fun! Karlach died on me though, which my friend was surprised about because Wyll apparently offers to go to Avernus with her?
I didn't finish Wyll's and Lae'zel's companion quests. Lae'zel left Faerun in the end, because I let the Emperor kill Orpheus. Wyll became an adventurer, and so did Shadowheart! Gale became a professor which was sooooo cute. Astarion and I look after the vampire spawn in the Afterdark.
Astarion and Halsin and the Emperor all got romanced. Though honestly, I didn't think I would be so drawn to Gale? I came into this game set on romancing Astarion, but Gale got my heart.
If I wasn't so set into romancing Astarion first, I wouldn't have broken Gale's heart. But I was happy that he didn't leave the camp over it. I'm definitely romancing him in my tactician run.
I think the ending glitched somewhat (Act 3 in general just lagged and bugged out for me), because I got Astarion's and Halsin's scenes.
I was able to recruit all possible companions, except for Minthara. I didn't know she was recruitable until the end.
I didn't get to meet Sarevok although I did get a letter from him in the end. Apparently, I was supposed to be able to meet him along the way before defeating Orin, but I somehow stumbled into the Temple of Bhaal before that. My quest journal bugged out saying I killed him (which, I never met him, so that's a no).
I saw on some posts that Custom Origin is recommended for the first run, and I can kinda see why. I started this game with a Custom Origin first, before accidentally stumbling into Act 2 without finishing open quests from Act 1, so I decided to restart, but do Dark Urge since the appearance is customizable too anyway.
And by the gods, right off the bat, Durge had so much more meat to it compared to Act 1 of Custom. I don't think I can play as a Custom Origin ever again.
Just, this game. It's been a wild ride. It sucked me in and has occupied my thoughts for so many days, I haven't been able to touch any of my other personal projects because of it. It's just really good!
Already planning a character for a tactician run.
