Liu Kang’s adopted son. The god of fire found him in an underwater cave, abandoned by birth parents, and Liu knew this dragon egg housed the son he’d lost in the previous timeline to darkness. A stoic, socially inept young man with centuries of knowledge, and the complete opposite of his father.

At the start of your relationship, his kisses are short pecks on your lips, neck, cheek, anywhere on your face, honestly. He’s very shy when it comes to affection, as his father and his fellow champion friends like to tease him for being so lovey dovey (all in good fun, of course).

For Lucien's summer look, my friends keep making jokes about HOT BOY SUMMER~

I wanted it to be more like the outfit he was kinda always wanted to be in when he was captive. Something MAJESTIC or flowy and regal? Also kinda thought about, ya'know, the original unicorn boy Helios. Something that made me think of that personally.

I really like the pop of blue in this outfit, and the texture I get to play with on the coat and pants and that shirt in the future. As well as this is one of my favorite hair styles on him.

I also decided his hooves would be standard black/grey but in this form I thought of how my sister use to do carriage horses downtown and had to put glitter on Nube's hooves for the Cinderella carriage - so probably something similar here for this one.

How would you rank the Life and Times chapters?

Oh boy this is a tough one... is what I thought going in but most of my faviorites held.

The Raider of the Copper Hill: Like all of the top 3 I honestly have to say it's about even. A tight well done stoy that sums up a LOT of the The Terror of The Transsval: "You just made me mean" one of the most important scrooge stories, thick with fun animal action, a hell of a climax and one of his harshest lessons. The Invader of Fort Duckberg: This one was also up top but I like the big character moments of the first two better. This one is no slouch though as the top 3 are all very close in my heart and the mere superpower line and hortsen and quackmores amazing romance all help keep it pu high. The Last of Clan McDuck: Almost had this one way too low as it sounds similar in my head to the new laird of castle mcduck. But it's a hell of a starter that gets the story going on just the right foot, drips in atmosphere and has the defintive version of scrooge's #1 dime story, which fits in what's his defintive origin story. A true classic. The King of the Klondike: Scrooge getting what he alwasy wanted. It's only beat out by the others thanks to some sluggish bits as Scrooge's final push to finally get rich takes a lot to get there, but iconic bits like him meeting goldie for the first time and of course the steamboat explosion help. The Richest Duck in the World: our finale and while Donald may be a tad annoying here, it can't detract from a truly satisfying ending that ends where most of us probably started. The Dreamtime Duck of the Never-Never: Shocked this one ended up so high as in my originla reads it was a passable chapter that just sorta happened. And while it's still more passive than other chapters, it's respect for aborigine culture is nice, it has a definting moment for scrooge and the climactic rainstorm is a feast for the eyes. Sometims a slower paced journey still gets you where yo uneed to be. The Empire Builder from Callisota: This ones not higher as on reading it recently... it's pretty dang racist. not enoguh to be illegeible but Rosa's lack of research coupled with his only changing the designs as much as needed to not be racist in the late 90's isn't good and the story itself is very slow in the back half. I get Rosa had a lot of ground to cover, but it's only intresting if you know each barks story he's explaning and I did not and in a story that's very new reader friendly but with funny of neat mythology gags, it sticks out. That said Scrooge's loosing his sisters.. guts and will never not be heartbreaking. That ending man. The Billionare of Dismal Downs: This one's bogged down by a lot of okay but not great jokes in the olympics section, but is higher in my opinon after this retrospective, as being the last I covered for some time it stuck with me and thus I notice it's finer points better. It's a mild slog but showing how much scrooge has changed, setting up chapter 11 well, scrooge's sisters teasing him over goldie, and of course the heartwearming and heartbreaking ending all keep it from the very bottom Buckaroo of the Badlands; Not half bad, but drags a bit here and there. It's not terrible the other chapters simply have more to them. Scrooge learns the value of experince.. but I feel a similar leasson with rockerduck sticks better The New Laird of Castle McDuck: As we get to the bottom these chapters aren't bad , but do tend to just lack that oompf the best of this story has. In this case the lightning storm duel is fine, but the antagonists are pretty bog stnadard scrooge antagonist and the ghost audit dosen't really work for me. Master of the Missippi: my least faviorite chapter.. is still not bad. It simply drags in the second half. The first is really good as Scrooge gets his first full mentor, learns vicotry can be hollow and has a nice mystery and nice bits of missipi lore to it. The second part iwth scrooge being river boat captain.. dosen't work for me and feels tacked on.
