Despite all my resolutions (where did daily painting disappear to?!) it’s been a while since I picked the brushes up and even longer since I did anything for Mother’s Day ... so. Here’s a sweet and simple work-in-progress using a blue @caran_dache pencil for the initial rough sketch in a lovely Mozart linen-bound sketchbook, then @schmincke_official and @winsorandnewton watercolours for the painting.
