"you don't understand." she cries out, hands gripping onto rin's shirt. her tears fell like how the sky cries it's rain, her head hung low and being unable to look rin in the eyes. her hands were in fists grabbing onto the fabric in a desperate plea. with how bright the stars shone above them, she knew they were mocking her.

i look so pathetic right now.

"what are you talking about—" a chocked out sob releases from her lips, eventually making her fall to her knees. this panics rin, immediately rushing to go down to her hold her in his arms, but one hand pushes his chest to force him to stay up.

rin couldn't even grasp her in her weakest moment.

"please... i... i can't..." one hand falls to cup her mouth in an attempt to soften the cry that continues to leave her chapped lips. her heart couldn't take this amount of sadness and uncertainty, even if the chilling wind were to blow her back to reality her sorrows were much of a burden.

"talk to me... i hate seeing you like this." rin is at a lost of words, he didn't even know what made her start crying to this extent. he felt so helpless and out of loop because the girl he learned to love the most wouldn't let him help her in her time of need.

my heart aches.

"i'm so scared..." her voice has been the softest rin has ever heard it before. she felt so small and the world felt like it did nothing but play games with her. she was scared of the snake to come back and bite it's own tail to restart the cycle of hurt.

"i'm so scared of falling in love with you, itoshi rin."
