The Valley of Triumph (2); 1-2-3-4-5-6
(every paragraph is a chapter!)
One year has passed, and it is Sentinekka's fourteenth birthday, the day she is supposed to see her best friend, Symphony, and her "guide", Ojtaro, again. She and Orlando are running through the Village to begin the Daily Quests they have to do for the Village of Dreams (in my AU, during the Season of Remembrance the Elders create a little assignment for the sky kids. They can decide whether to be a Missionary or not. A Missionary does the quests that a village needs daily). In the meanwhile, Ojtaro is reaching the Village with his family and Joyz, who he still doesn't like at all. They're coming with him to see Sentinekka, but also to see a show of the Theatre. The Performances Guide organized it and invited the whole Village of Dreams and more friends, and Passage is a friend of Performance soo... Yep. After walking through the Forest, the group finally comes to the Valley.
Sentinekka sends Orlando home since he was tired because of nightmares, so she remains alone in the Vault. And, in the Village of Dreams, Ojtaro goes on his way to search his friend. Suddenly, someone bumps into him: it's Judylia, but he doesn't know her yet. He asks her about Sentinekka and gives a description, since he doesn't know that she knows his little Moth. Judylia tells him that Sentinekka is in the Vault to do quests for the Village, and that she has become an amazing person that always speaks about him and Symphony. So, he goes to the Vault.
In the Vault, he hears Sentinekka's voice as she sings A Temporary High by AURORA. He sings it too while following the voice. Sentinekka is singing just to lose some time and relax a bit: she needs to complete one last quests for the Vault, then she'll have to go to the Forest and then the Prairie. The quest is to ride a Cosmic Manta (in my AU there are more different quests!). At the end, they meet on the top of the Vault and hug each other with excitement.
After that little embrace, Sentinekka tells Ojtaro that she knows his secret, she knows he's an Elder, and he gets agitated and scared. She isn't supposed to know. After taking her behind the statue of Lamed, Vault Elder, he lets his stress break free and asks her how she knows all of this. She doesn't really tell him how, but she reassures him that his secret is safe with her. So he calms down. To change topic of discussion, Sentinekka asks him how he has been during the time they've been separated, and the two begin to speak.
The future Elder and his friend are in the Forest. They speak and listen to each other, they talk about being a Missionary or an Elder. Sentinekka became smarter, and now she even knows all the name of the Elders. They were written in old books. She knows so much. It's like the student has surpassed the guide. While he explains to her his feelings about being an Elder, she tries to find solutions to set him free. But there are three only: death, Darkness or the rejection of the Light. And "the Megabird" chose him. Well, she corrects him and says that it's "Megabird" and not "The Megabird". Lmao. But, ANYWAYS: while they speak, Symphony is going away from the Sanctuary Islands to reach Sentinekka. Tewezo and Youssef would like to come with her, but she warns them to not do that since she wants to go alone. She can't wait to see her best friend again... <3
Sentinekka updates her diary about what happened and about the quests she must do in the Prairie. She needs to admire the sapling for some time, then to meditate in the Fields, then go take the Golden Light still in the Fields and then to ride a Manta. When she finishes with her diary, Ojtaro asks her why she's so organized. She explains the duty of a Missionary, and that she loves helping people at her best. He should understand that feeling more than her, that's what she tells him, since he has helped so many Moths like her and Symphony. During that discussion, Ojtaro accidentally says something in a language he must study, as a descendant of the Elders: Yoruba, an ancient language of the Sky Kingdom. Sen' recognizes it and, fascinated by the past, asks him what it means: Ori me means My Friend, he explains. He really doesn't like the stuff a future Elder must know.

The Golden Wastelands; 7-8-9-10-11-12-13
(every paragraph is a chapter!)
Sentinekka reaches the Battlefield and crosses it. She only must reach the Temple of Tsadi to wait for the new day, because she needs to rest before actually talking with the Elder. As she flies through the area of the Wastelands, she remembers a little discovery that she has recently made: Love was seen as the weakest power, time ago. And she wonders why, since Aurora (demigoddess of Love) was and still is very strong. Perhaps, Light and Darkness were scared to admit the power of Aurora? She doesn't know. But she knows that, once she'll complete her mission and save the Corrupted Ruler, everything will get better: no bad Darkness, no pollution, Light, Darkness and Love united. She hopes so, at least.
Right after a little update in her diary (in which she talks about the story of the gate of the Temple of the Wastelands, that was created to "control the Darkness"), she finally enters in the Temple and yipiiii she can rest!! Before falling asleep near the sparkles of a Winged Light that she already took during her first time in the Temple one year ago, she wonders: what if the Eden is really a trap? People of the Village of Dreams used to say that it was a trap of the Elders for them to get the Light of Sky kids. What if they are right? She never wanted to believe them, but she won't asl anything to Lamed or Tsadi. She needs to listen to the version of the King. To his words.
Ojtaro shows all of Sentinekka's friends a new letter that she has sent. It says that she has crossed the Temple of Tsadi, that nothing particular happened. She's probably in the Vault right now. After the news, Youssef and Tewezo propose to make a celebration for Sentinekka's return, but Mona and Ojtaro say that they must wait for Sentinekka to officially say that she'll come back. Because she could not come back alive. And everyone agrees but, somehow, Symphony and Ojtaro almost start a fight for basically nothing. They get stopped by the others, and they try to get along for Sentinekka.
During the meeting in the Temple, the Elder Tsadi noticed the symbol of the Vault that Sentinekka had as necklace (before reaching the Temple, the stone of the Vault assumed the shape of a necklace with beads, so now Sentinekka keeps it on her neck), and he ofc asked about it. She said the truth, she didn't want to hide any more stuff. But she didn't tell anything about her mission. So, now, she's going out of the Temple. But, suddenly, a girl stops her. She proposes her to help her with a concert in the Wastelands for a bit, because she has seen and heard Sentinekka's voice sometimes in the Village of Dreams. Sentinekka accepts, and tells the other kid that she'll have to go soon for something important thought, so she won't be able to stay much.
So, y'all remember Chapter 13 of Prophecy? At the end of it, Horand (aka Melancholy Mope, Ojtaro's oldest brother) tells Oj' that the Seasonal Guides are organizing a mission to save Rhythm Guide, because that stupid is stuck in an old Village called Aviary.
Right now, Performance Guide and Passage Guide are discussing about the mission. In short, Performance, Dreams and Enchantment Guides will begin the mission to reach the Aviary and save Rhythm. But Passage is afraid for them. In this part, we actually discover more about the past of these silly goobers. Passage, before becoming a Guide, was being chased by Soldiers of the Elders because he was a shaman. And he was friends with Rhythm, Performance, Dreams and Enchantment, who were always worried for him. But btw!! How do we see all of this??? Through Ojtaro's POV, 'cause he's eavesdropping the conversation (despite the fact that he shouldn't) in the shape of bird, sitting on the Passage Stone. With this method, he also discovers that his father had a vision about the Aviary. A vision that says that "whoever goes in the fog will become the fog itself". Aviary has fog. Or similar. And Oj' is like... :0. Because Passage hasn't had visions since the day he adopted Horand and became a Guide. At the end, Performance and Passage actually notice him and catch him in the middle of the eavesdropping.
Sentinekka is singing, while Dalhi (girl who requested her voice for the concert in the Wastelands) and some friends of hers are playing their instruments. The song is All Is Soft Inside by ofc Aurorita. That's the fourth song that they have been playing, and also the last one. During it, Sentinekka understands that Love is actually the most powerful thing in the Kingdom. She another reason to reach the Eden: to make everyone understand that Light and Darkness are nothing compared to Love, to Aurora, and nothing without it. When the song finishes, she salutes her temporary companions and runs towards the Vault.
Passage Guide is literally in panik, while Oj' is just sitting on his hammock inside his tent. Passage is explains to him that he can't tell anybody (neither his siblings, nor his friends or anyone else) about the vision. He also can't know what the vision is about. Because the Elders could be able to kill him or his siblings for that. They could destroy their chance to save the Kingdom just because of a vision about an old realm. And Passage Guide loves his children, he doesn't want them to die. Oj' promises his father that he will try to help, in case of any problems. Because he finally has a real reason to wish to be mortal: family. And now, he also has love. For Sen'. So he comforts his father. Once he didn't want a family. He didn't want to be an Elder because he used to find it too elegant. Now, he wants to be mortal just for his family and for the ones he loves.
Tea is getting hotter and hotter y'all. We are closer to Eden. Closer to ending. Y'all. 😦🤌
The Golden Wastelands; 1-2-3-4-5-6
(every paragraph is a chapter!)
Sentinekka is in the Golden Wastelands, walking through the desert that will take her to the Broken Temple area. As she flies, she calculates that she'll need three days to reach the Vault, since each day is equal to an area and she'll skip the Shipwreck. When she's closer to the first area, she sees two Moths. One has a yellow cape from the Butterfly Spirit in Prairie, and he looks like an "advanced Moth" (one of those who have completed their journey but haven't explored areas like the Forgotten Ark or the Village of Dreams...); the other, on the other hand, looks way too young to be in the Sky Kingdom.
Sentinekka tries at first to ignore the Moths to avoid distractions during her mission, but she gives up since she's a cutie patootie and waits for the Moths to get out of the first Krill area. After a bit, she updates her diary: she talks about Lamed's book, about what she has to do in the Eden and about a little and very recent thing; in fact, she has decided to take care of the Moths, called Iku (13 years old with yellow cape) and Emi (9 hears old). They're siblings that began their journey together to "discover something personal".
Going a bit to Ojtaro, he has got a problem: he had a reunion with the Elders, and they want him to become an Elder before being 16. So, in three months (or more). He feels weak, because he wasn't able to rebel against them. He hopes for Sentinekka's letter to be arrived, so he can feel like she's there to comfort him. In the meanwhile, the Passage Season has ended. NOW BACK TO SEN' -> evening is coming, and she and the siblings she has met are reaching the Graveyard to rest at the Campfire. When they put their feet near the fire, they begin to rest while Sentinekka cuddles the crabs so they can trust her.
The day later, Iku wakes Sentinekka up and indicated her a figure. It's the Seed of Hope. She reaches the Spirit and asks it what's it doing here, and it replies that it must find two children from the sunny side of the Forest that were lost during a trip. Sentinekka shows it Emi and Iku, and they are the most children, so the Seed takes them to bring them home. Before going away, Iku advices Sentinekka to not go in the Eden, but she still has to go. Finally, she remains alone again.
In the Graveyard of the Wastelands, she walks around. Sentinekka has just written a letter to Ojtaro, telling him everything that has happened. Plus, she believes that the first letter she has sent hasn't arrived, because when you send a letter, if it arrives at its destination a symbol appears temporarily on your arm, and no symbol has appeared for her. She has to reach the Battlefield and, the day after, she'll meet the Elder Tsadi. While she walks through the area and jumps on a bridge of dark plants, she notices a bird flying towards her: it's a bird from the Isle, which reaches her and gives her a stone with a familiar shape. She has heard that the Isle's birds move their head when they mean "yes", and stay still when they mean to say a "no". So, with questions and replies from the bird, she discovers that the stone is from Lamed. And it resembles the murals of the Vault.
It was a symbol of strength, since the Vault is the only realm who hasn't been attacked by Darkness. Because of that meaning, Sentinekka wonders if Lamed is trying to tell her something more. But we can't know that, because Ojtaro's POV takes the scene: Sentinekka's most recent letter has arrived. Everyone is waiting for Symphony to come too, since she is late because she was asked to repair a boat in the Sanctuary Islands. But, at the end, she finally comes and justifies her being late. Ojtaro fastly reads the letter in his mind and explains them everything that's written: Iku and Emi, Seed of Hope, Graveyard and Battlefield. And the fact that the first letter of Sentinekka didn't arrive. So, everytime a letter comes, Ojtaro will receive it and warn the others to come in the Isle. After this words of explaining, said by Symphony, Yashi expresses her worry for Sentinekka. Mona tells her that she'll be fine, but Yashi is still unsure. About Ojtaro, only hearing the words "losing Sentinekka" blocks the circulation of his Light in his body :'D.

The Daylight Prairie; 7-8-9-10-11-12-13
(every paragraph is a chapter!)
Sentinekka, Symphony, Ojtaro and Youssef reach the Prairie Islands. The two veterans explain to the Moths that they need to ring all of the bells of the different islands to reach the temple, and that experience is really important for the journey. The girls look confused, but they trust their guides. When Ojtaro accidentally says the Prairie Elder's, name (Elders do not reveal their names to sky kids), the group asks him how he knows it. He justifies himself saying that in "his village" people usually call Elders with imaginary names. While the others don't fully believe him at first, Sentinekka trusts him. Before the discussion could continue, Youssef tells the others to go on and to follow him. As the group continues the journey, Ojtaro always feels more guilty about having to leave Sentinekka on her own after the Forest.
The group explores the Prairie a bit, but the night comes and the kids have to stop on an island to continue the day later. During the night, while Sentinekka is sleeping near her and Ojtaro is resting too, Symphony hears Youssef calling her. He proposes to her to walk a bit. She accepts, and they reach the Bird Nest, where Youssef uses a stick to create fireworks.
While Youssef and Symphony are gone, Ojtaro has a dream. Well, a nightmare actually. He deals with it most of the nights. He sees himself from the past in the Village of Dreams. His past version is playing with other kids, until the ice begins to crack. Everyone gets off the ice, except a little girl who stays still. The past version manages to save the girl, but to his disadvantage. He falls in the water and seems to drown. Ojtaro wakes up from the nightmare and, after taking his grey mask off, lets out his quiet tears to avoid waking Sentinekka up. But she is already awake, so she notices. Ignoring his face without mask, which has black eyes and white pupils and strangely greyish skin, she comforts him and manages to make him happy again.
The day after, the group is reunited and they're walking through the Islands. Sentinekka and Symphony talk about what happened during the night. In the meanwhile, the other two talk a bit. Until there is a "little fight" (not really a fight?): Youssef accidentally thinks that Ojtaro doesn't really care about the group, and the other one gets offended and literally takes Sentinella by the hand for the rest of the journey. And she is just like ^-^ all the time. Then, they reach the Prairie Temple.
Sentinekka updates her diary about the meeting with the Prairie Elder. She tells it that the Elder can communicate with butterflies, and that they sued this trick to know more about the kids. The Elder and Ojtaro seem to know each other well, and this confuses the others. There is no explanation about it, since Ojtaro doesn't want to give any. Plus, he becomes rigid when he meets an Elder. Sentinekka doesn't force him to tell the truth, and will wait for him to unlock himself and to talk. When the group gets out of the temple, two other Sky kids suddenly come. Ojtaro knows them quite well. One of them, the shorter one, begs him to not tell to their father, the Passage Guide (they can be seen with different genders by Sky kids, and these ones sees them as a he/him!!), about their trip to the Prairie.
They are Ojtaro's "siblings". We can say so. They are Spirits, the Troublemaker and the Mope. Ojtaro hastily chases them away and tells them he won't say anything to the Guide, which he doesn't see as a father actually. Not yet. The two Spirits go away, and there is a goodbye for Sentinekka and Symphony. The fifteen-year-old promises her friend that they'll see each other again on Sentinekka's fourteenth birthday. And the group separates: Sentinekka goes with Oj' towards the Forest, while Symphony goes with Youssef in the Sanctuary Islands. While they reach the boy's home, he comforts her and tells her that he'll help her to see Sentinella again.
Symphony and Youssef reach the Sanctuary Islands, and he shows her a bit of them. In short, he says that his village will probably love her, because he finds her really amazing. They go around the village, and they meet Tewezo, Youssef's older sister. The siblings have a little bickering, won by Tewezo, and this amuses a lot Symphony. In the meanwhile, the Hidden Forest is waiting for Oj' and Sen'.
The Daylight Prairie; 1-2-3-4-5-6
(every paragraph is a chapter!)
So, we stopped at the end of Isle. The group, made of Sentinekka, Symphony and Ojtaro, have reached the little field that will take them to the Prairie. It's night, so the group should rest (time passes faster than in game). Symphony and Ojtaro really don't get along. After they have concluded a fight, Oj' tells Sentinekka that Symphony will remain in the Prairie after reaching the temple with them, and that the other two will keep going on their journey. Sentinekka gets sad, and updates her diary about all that is going on. In the meanwhile, we discover that Ojtaro is the "son" of the Passage Guide, and that he needs to help Sen' to get through the Forest in a short time, because he'll soon have to reach his family to help them with preparations about the future Passage lessons, that will take place in an year (we are during season of Abyss circa).
The day later, the kids are going to reach the Meeting Area of the Prairie (aka Prairie Lobby). Before following Sentinekka, who's already near the entrance, Symphony tells Ojtaro that he should always reciprocate the affection of Sentinekka. When he asks her why she gave him that advice, she replies that she doesn't find him a good person, but that Sentinekka has trust in him and that he needs to be a good friend to her. Then, the children finally reach the lobby. The girls are fascinates by the Prairie, they find it very beautiful. Ojtaro tells things about things, and explains to the girl the thing of the Spirits' Graves in every realm (when you help a Spirit, you can find it in its grave).
The kids reach the Butterfly Fields. Ojtaro tries to ask the girls their opinion about the place, but Sentinekka instantly runs away and lays on the grass. Symphony follows her, and Ojtaro decides to imitate them. After a while, Symphony goes to explore the Fields on her own, leaving Oj' and Sen' alone. The little girl begins to do something with some flowers, until the "guide" of the journey tells her that he might not be able to show her the whole Forest because of a family event. She accepts the fact, and puts on his head a crown of flowers she did before he spoke.
Symphony comes back, and she notices the crown of flowers that Ojtaro has got on his head. She'd like to say the truth, that he looks ridiculous, but she lies to not offend Sentinekka in some way. After the little compliments to the crown of flowers, she tells the other Children that she found a cave with butterflies and a new friend. Sentinekka is excited, and she wants to meet him. So, the group reaches the cave of the first Spirit that Moths usually unlock. The one with the yellow cape. I don't remember its name- but, anyways: the group meets Youssef, a 16-year-old that has relived the Spirit's memory for the two Moths. He lives in the Prairie and wants to host Symphony when Oj' and Sen' will reach the Forest. I'll introduce his design soon. He says that Ojtaro looks like a Spirit, but the other boy silences him with a cold stare and tells him to avoid using such nicknames.
The Moths receive the Spirit's blessing. In the meanwhile, Ojtaro and Youssef talk a bit. About the way Oj' reacted when Youssef called him a "Spirit", about how Youssef met Symphony, and about the Passage Lessons. In fact, Ojtaro can be called like a "Passage Student". He explains that the Passage Guide and its students arrive every twenty years for the lessons, and live in another realm in other cases. He tells Youssef that he can come to the lessons if he wants. When their discussion finishes, they notice that the other kids are gone. They find them outside the cave. Symphony is fixing Sentinekka's hair and gives her a less messy ponytail. Then, Symphony invites Youssef to sit with them. And Ojtaro sits too.
Later, the group continues the journey. The Fields are full of people, and this is strange for Youssef, who says he's not used to see many people there. Ojtaro says that it is probably happening because of some shows or tours or more things, but that he doesn't know much about it. Symphony mocks him, saying that he needs to admit he's not good at socializing, and he admits it. They reach the door that will take them to the Islands of the Prairie, and finally begin their flight towards them. During the flight, Symphony confronts Oj' about Youssef, telling him that their new friend is surely the opposite of him. He agrees. She says that Youssef probably didn't have an easy life (that's what she thinks at least), and Oj' almost reveals to her that his life isn't easy either. In any case, they finish their discussion with the end of the chapter.

The Valley of Triumph (2); 7-8-9-10-11-12-13
(every paragraph is a chapter!)
Sentinekka and Ojtaro are in front of the sapling of the Prairie Lightseeker. She's doing the first quest of the Prairie, and he's just waiting for her to finish. While she contemplates the plant, she tells the story of the Lightseekers; she's mostly talking to herself, but Oj' listens to her. The Lightseekers were ancestors of the Children of Light, and they were supposed to bring the Light back to before. They failed and died, but this made them become the guardians of five saplings in five realms, except for the Isle, who refused to have a sapling in its land. After telling that little story she has learned with time and patience in the Vault of Knowledge, she notices that a leaf falls from the sapling. She looks at the Prairie Lightseeker, who makes a move with their head to tell her that she can keep the leaf. When the quest finishes, she doesn't have time to ask the reason of the fallen leaf: the Spirit goes away, so she and Oj' decide to continue their missions in the Prairie.
In the Butterfly Fields, Sentinekka completes the second quest: meditation. And, after some words about that quest, she discovers one of Ojtaro's abilities. He can shapeshift into Light creatures. In fact, he takes the form of a butterfly and flies around her. When he turns back to his sky kid form, he says that he shouldn't use that power often since it damages his Internal Light. But, this time, Megabird had mercy. Sentinekka tells him to not shapeshift often and, relieved by the fact that he's okay and still amazed by his ability, she completes her third quest, taking the Golden Light of the Fields. After that, the two walk towards the Prairie Islands to ride the Manta.
The sky kids fly with the Manta, riding it. They stay there for a while, enjoying the moment they're living, until the creature begins to be weird. The Manta doesn't go to the Temple of the Elder Ayin, but is going far. To the Eden's ruins. And Oj' understands that something is wrong even before noticing where the creature is actually going. He tells Sentinekka to get off the animal, that if they stay there they could risk to fall and die. Sure, they can fly, but he doesn't really think about it at first. She doesn't really seem to understand, but manages to fly away after he does it too. When he lands on an island, he gets worried: he can't see his friend anywhere. But, when he looks up, he sees her reaching him, and she lands perfectly on the ground.
Back in the Village of Dreams, as the sun is slowly setting, Oj' has the courage to speak of something else out of what happened in the Prairie. They have a little talk. During the day, Oj' turned out to have become a fair and serious guy, but also very nice. While they keep walking towards the Theatre, they talk. Sentinekka brings up the topic of Aurora's concert because Ojtaro is wearing the Giving In To The Love Cape. But he refuses to explain her how he got the cape. Instead, he confesses her the truth about what happened in the Hidden Forest time ago, when they "played hide & seek". He tells her about the meeting with the Forest Elder, about what she thought of Sentinekka. He's glad that Teth gave Sen' a chance, because she truly deserved it and never disappointed the Elder. And, moved by his words, she hugs him tightly.
They finally have reached the Theatre. The seats are all taken, but the square is free, so they just stand near the stage. Ojtaro can see Horand, his brother, so he's sure that the Passage Guide will notice him soon. About Sen', she is trying to see if Symphony is already there. She doesn't see her, and she's getting worried. But there's nothing to be worried about: Symphony arrives some time later and instantly talks with Sentinekka, right until the shows begins.
When the show ends, Sentinekka tells her diary about it. Symphony, in the meanwhile, hides somewhere to avoid meeting Youssef and Tewezo, who still came despite her wish to not deal with them during her journey. Since Sen' and Oj' are alone, they talk about the Rhythm Guide. They didn't come, and that's strange. Sentinekka is worried about the Guide, since she thought they were coming to support Performance. The Village hasn't had new of Rhythm for much time. And Ojtaro likes the way she gets worried for the Spirits. It's so kind of her... But, suddenly, Symphony comes back with Youssef and Tewezo. They found her, and they're now greeting Sentinekka and Ojtaro with kindness. The sky kids talk for a bit, until Symphony whispers something in Sentinekka's ear. After excusing herself, Sentinekka walks away. Something has happened.
While Sentinekka is gone, Youssef and Tewezo keep asking questions about the Passage Season, which is coming soon. And he'd like to make them suffer just for their impatience. But Symphony stops them, and he can breathe a sigh of relief. About Sentinekka: when she reaches her friend Orlando, who was the one who called her behind a few houses of the Village, she notices his concerned and afraid stare. He speaks of the Twins of the Valley. In fact, they appear some time later in front of them. After a very normal fight between Sah and Mekh which is interrupted by the two sky kids, the Elders ask Sentinekka to always check on Ojtaro, since he's a rebel teenager (dude is in his villain and rebel arc-) and they go away. And this is how Orlando discovers about Ojtaro's identity. Our poor baby <3
