Starter for @videcoeur
It should have been a simple job. Take the order of Rain Powder to Alabasta, but somehow the product got switched out with some cooking spice. Maybe the vendor that sold her the product gave her the wrong stuff, but in the end, she still dropped it off so it was her fault for not checking it first. She knew that the organization that replaced the order appeared to be sketchy and it turned out her gut was right when someone called Miss All Sunday came after the merchant.
It was clear the boss was not happy and must have felt as it he was deceived. So without putting up a fight that would expose her abilities, she went along peacefully and the older woman commented that she made a smart choice. It had been five days now since she was placed in the underground prison or maybe a basement. The area was filled with cracks and pests that kept her company, but the worst part was the heat from the desert. Sand surrounded the female as she sat on the little mat she used to sleep on.
Eve was growing tired and had been waiting for the boss to come so she could fix the order, refund the money then just on her way. She had been using her devil fruit abilities to make edible food and then water to drink as her lips were drying out since hardly anyone came to visit. Sighing softly she knew she could not wait around much longer without an attempt to escape, but she was trying her best to hide her abilities.
Finally, the ginger female glanced up in the front of the cell as she heard footsteps coming closer. They were definitely heavier than the female that put her in the prison in the first place so maybe it was the head boss themself. She did not even realize she was holding her breath until her green eyes finally landed on the male who stood before her.

Fire Cider Recipe: A Cleanse For The Soul
The flavors in Fire Cider are predominantly pungent and sour, two of the flavors most often missing in our modern diets. Due to this, Fire Cider is seen as a digestive reset for many (not a replacement for healthcare, please see a doctor if necessary).
Ingredients:
5 ounces/143 g (5 parts) horseradish root
Fresh 5 ounces/143 g (5 parts) ginger root
Dry 2 ounces/57g (2 parts) garlic cloves
Fresh 1 ounce/30g (1 part) turmeric root
Fresh (or 1/2 oz/15 g dried) 1 ounce/30g (1 part) yarrow flower
Dried 1/2 ounce/15g (1/2 part) cayenne pepper
Dried (whole or powdered) 64 ounces/1.8 raw, organic apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
Grate all the fresh ingredients into one bowl and mix them well
Measure the dried ingredients into a second bowl and mix them well.
Measure half of each bowl full of ingredients into a quart-sized canning jar or all of them into a half-gallon sized canning jar.
Add the apple cider vinegar to fill each canning jar, stirring as needed to eliminate all air bubbles from the mixture.
Cap the jars securely and let them stand where you’ll remember to shake them daily for 2 - 4 weeks.
When you’re ready in 2 - 4 week’s time, strain the solids from the vinegar, saving the vinegar for use. Compost the solids.
Store the finished vinegar in a sealed glass container in a cool place, like the refrigerator.
How To Take It:
You can consume Fire Cider either by the spoonful or by the drop (putting it into your water). This recipe is best used uncooked, but you can also add it to soups and use it as a marinade if you want to!

Phantom Carols
For the @jatp-adventevent prompt: Who does all the cookies and gingerbread house?
Day Sixteen: Let It Dough <-AO3!
Alex poofed into the Molina family kitchen and immediately regretted it. Every surface seemed to be covered, and Julie was there in the middle, tongue stuck out of the corner of her mouth as she happily stirred away at a bowl.
“Did a flour bomb explode?” he asked, taking in the dusting of white powder on the counters.
“Oh hey Alex, it’s Christmas baking season!” Julie replied. “I got a little carried away, but don’t worry, it’ll all get cleaned.”
Alex took in the ingredients everywhere, the dishes filling the sink, the oven humming with a tray of something inside. “How many cookies are you making?”
“At least ten different kinds,” Julie offered. “I give them away as gifts to my friends and then there’s more to eat when the family comes over on Christmas. I’d offer some to you and the guys but…”
“We can’t eat them,” Alex finished. “D-do you want some help baking them though?”
“You like to bake?”
Alex flushed but nodded. “Yeah, before everything, my mom and I made cookies every year at this time. Most to give away to the parishioners during Midnight Mass, but we also kept a few, just for the family. As I got older my dad discouraged it, but it was something I really enjoyed doing.”
“Well then roll up your sleeves!” Julie encouraged. “The sugar cookies are in the oven, these shortbreads are almost done, and then we can start on the gingerbread people!”
“You making a house too?” Alex snarked, starting to sort through the chaos in order to help her.
“Nah, store-bought for that is fine. We just have to watch it because Carlos likes to steal the candy and leaves the cookie part alone,” Julie cautioned.
“I mean, I don’t blame him there. No one really likes gingerbread.”
“Don’t tell my aunt that, she’s super proud of her recipe,” Julie replied.
Soon enough the mess was more organized or dealt with, the dishes cleaned and drying, and cookies were cooling on the rack. Alex helped Julie measure and mix all the ingredients. He still didn’t really like the taste of gingerbread, but he would admit that these smelled delicious, all sweet from the molasses and spicy from the ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. He cut out all the little people, half girls, half guys and put them in to bake.
A while later, when the baking was done, the kitchen disaster sorted, and the cookies cooled, it was time for Julie’s favourite part; decorating! They whipped up several varieties and colours of icing, and went to town.
Snowflakes, snowmen, trees, and presents all came to life as they did the sugar cookies. The shortbreads just got a fine layer of sprinkles. But the gingerbread people was where Julie went all out.
She held up her first one; in a sleeveless blue shirt, black pants and an orange cap with a few wisps of brown sticking out. “It’s Luke!” she proclaimed. “You wanna do one for Willie?”
Alex beamed and nodded, grabbing one of the girl figures that the skirt had been shaved down and went to town. Sure his design skills were a bit lacking, but it was a good enough cookie likeness for him.
From there, Julie did Reggie, Flynn, and Carrie cookies while Alex tackled her family ones. He was especially proud of the one for Victoria, as it was the neatest and he hoped his cookie did her proud. He also did a sneaky Julie cookie, grinning as he dusted the icing with purple sparkles.
“Here’s you,” Julie offered, handing him a cookie that did look like him, down to the pink shirt and fanny pack. He couldn’t help but smile at it, how lovingly done it was, but that was Julie, full of more love than she knew what to do with.
“Bet I’m delicious,” he commented wryly. “Thanks Jules.”
Julie leaned in, grabbing him in a fierce hug. “You are more than welcome. I wish you could get to enjoy them, so I really appreciate you helping me knowing you can’t.”
“I had fun too,” Alex said, squeezing her tight. “I only ever got to eat them on Christmas when I was a kid anyways, so it’s not such a big loss.”
“Hey guys,” Willie said, poofing into the kitchen, waving. Alex and Julie broke apart, grinning at him. “Oooh, cookies!” He snatched up a shortbread and took a large bite, moaning at the taste. “It’s delicious!” he said through the crumbs.
“Ummm… how can you eat outside the club?” Alex asked.
Willie shrugged. “Christmas magic?”
Alex picked up a sugar cookie and brought it to his mouth, gently nibbling on it. The flavour of it burst across his taste buds, and he beamed at Julie. “I can eat the cookies!” The two of them bounced up and down, then stopped so Alex could truly savour the taste.
“We’re not telling Luke and Reggie right?” Alex asked after he’d polished off a few select treats, Willie and Julie also helping themselves.
“Not if we want them to last until Christmas,” Julie replied with a wink and took another bite of her snickerdoodle. “But we’ll give them their gingerbread men later, and see what happens.”
“Ten bucks says they’ll be too terrified by the idea of eating themselves to even try,” Willie wagers. Alex agrees, but that doesn’t stop him from snagging a gingerbread star to sample, and dammit if tia isn’t right about her recipe being the one good gingerbread one.
He’s tempted to take a bit of his Alex cookie, but Willie beats him to the punch, scooping it up and devouring half of it in one bite. “Delicious!” he says with a wink and Alex is certain his face is as bright pink as his hoodie at that.
But he snags the Willie cookie and repeats the motion. He’s not sure what’s tastier; the cookie, or Willie’s expression.

Use a #3 tip or writing frosting tip, or cut the smallest corner of a sealable plastic bag off. Fill with frosting and pipe out your ginger people with eyes, smiles, and outlines as you wish.

Natural Remedies for Cough Relief: The Power of Ayurveda
Coughing is an instinctive action that aids in removing substances that may irritate the throat and the respiratory system. However, when the pain starts to become chronic, then it can prove to be very irritating to the person’s everyday existence. Luckily, in Ayurveda, there are numerous herbal medicines for cough and to support the respiratory system. These remedies are formulated on ages of knowledge; they combine ingredients that have been tried for centuries. In this blog, we will talk about Ayurveda cough remedies and primarily about traditional remedies, which people have been using for centuries to address cough and restore normal breathing.
Understanding Cough in Ayurveda
According to Ayurveda, knowledge of Indian origins, cough is a form of the disease, which develops as a result of disturbances in the body’s doshas, most often Kapha and Vata. Cough is a manifestation brought about by an imbalance in these doshas, which results in the formation of mucus, dryness or irritation to the respiratory system. Ayurvedic treatments have a notion to balance the doshas by applying natural treatments both for managing the signs and symptoms of cough as well as the causes.
Types of Cough in Ayurveda
Before diving into specific remedies, it’s essential to understand that Ayurveda classifies coughs into different types based on dosha imbalances.
Vata-Type Cough: A scalp and rigorously dry paroxysmal cough, especially at night or on arising; hoarseness; chest pains. Pitta-Type Cough: It has a burning feeling in the chest, yellow discharge, fever and a sour taste in the mouth. Kapha-Type Cough: Formed by a cough involving the production of thick and tenacious sputum together with substernal chest oppression.
Thus, Ayurvedic treatments involve minor changes in the dysregulated balances using particular herbs along with certain dietary plans.
Ayurvedic Remedies for Cough Relief Ayurvedic Remedies for Cough Relief
Tulsi (Holy Basil) A herb held in high esteem in the Indian system of herbal medicine, Tulsi is helpful in curing cough, that is a respiratory ailment. It has antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects and is specifically useful in soothing the respiratory tract.
How to Use Tulsi for Cough Relief:
Take fresh tulsi leaves, any fifteen-twenty of them, and boil them in water. For additional improvement, you could incorporate honey as well as ginger into your diet plan. To achieve a good outcome, it is recommended that this herbal tea be taken in the morning and evening.
Amla (Indian Gooseberry) Amla is blessed with vitamin C and antioxidants; hence, it is used as a remedy for increased immunity and respiratory organ disorders. Amla, when taken on a daily basis, helps build up the lungs and helps one effectively deal with coughs and common colds.
Ayurvedic Uses of Amla:
Take fresh amla juice with honey for treatment. When taken in warm water or your favorite herbal teas, amla powder is known to have many benefits. Amla is also used extensively in Jagriti Ayurveda’s cough relief range of products due to its general body benefits, especially to the respiratory systems.
Liquorice Root (Mulethi) The liquorice root is among the most effective herbs that are used in the Ayurvedic medication for the sore throat and cough. It is effective in providing relief from congestion and cough as it has properties that function to decrease the thickness of mucus and assist in bringing up phlegm.
Natural Expectorants Using Liquorice:
Boil the liquorice root powder together with water to prepare tea. For taste and even more significant calming properties, add honey to the mixture.
Ginger (Adrak) Ginger is quite famous for its anti-inflammatory nature and for helping people to breathe through nostrils. It is especially helpful in curing a Vata-type cough characterized by dryness and irritation of the throat.
Ayurvedic Remedies for Dry Cough:
Ready ginger tea involves boiling of fresh ginger slices in water. For extra health benefits, add lemon and honey, which are well-known immunity boosters. Besides, this remedy helps with coughing and also addresses the issue of loss of appetite, which is common to everyone when sick.
Turmeric (Haldi) Curcumin is the principle ingredient of turmeric and is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects. Because of the anti-inflammatory property of this spice, turmeric is effective for the treatment of cough since it has the ability to reduce inflammation on the throat and respiratory system.
How to Use Turmeric for Cough Relief:
Take one teaspoon of turmeric powder and it should be stirred in a mug filled with warm milk. Take this golden milk once or twice in a day for getting rid of cough and for improving lung function.
Pippali (long pepper) In Ayurvedic preparations for cough syrups and respiratory disorders, pippali provides the main flavor. It assists in expelling the mucus and is especially used in treating the Kapha-induced coughs that are accompanied by an overproduction of phlegm.
Ayurvedic Cough Treatment with Pippali:
For its use, mix pippali powder with honey. Consume this mixture once daily in order to help with coughing and support the respiratory system.
Benefits of Ayurvedic Cough Remedies Ayurvedic cough treatments offer numerous benefits, especially when compared to conventional treatments.
Natural and holistic: According to the Ayurvedic treatments, the treatments and the remedies are focused on the natural factors and one has to address the main cause of the cough rather than the cough itself. Strengthens Immunity: Some of the herbs present in Ayurveda, like Amla and Tulsi, have immunomodulatoryproperties,s thereby avoiding constant infections. Vinayak’s Ecoflav Ginger Powder: A Mild Seasoning Agent from Spray-Dried Ginger Roots
Vinayak’s Ecoflav Ginger Powder is a remarkable product made from the spray-dried form of dried ginger (Zingiber officinale) roots. Unlike fresh ginger, which has a robust and pungent flavor, this powdered form offers a milder taste, making it an excellent seasoning agent for a variety of dishes.
1. What is Ecoflav Ginger Powder?
Vinayak’s Ecoflav Ginger Powder is produced through a meticulous process where fresh ginger roots are dried and then finely ground into a powder. The spray-drying technique used preserves the essential oils and nutrients of ginger while significantly reducing its strong flavor. This makes the powder an ideal choice for those who prefer a subtler taste in their culinary creations.
2. Versatility in Cooking
One of the standout features of Ecoflav Ginger Powder is its versatility. Its mild flavor profile allows it to blend seamlessly into a wide range of dishes without overpowering other ingredients. It can be used in soups, stews, marinades, and sauces, providing a hint of ginger’s distinctive warmth without the intensity of fresh ginger. Additionally, it can be incorporated into baked goods, such as cookies and bread, where it adds a gentle spice without overwhelming sweetness.
3. Health Benefits
While the powdered form of ginger is less pungent, it still retains many of the health benefits associated with ginger. Ecoflav Ginger Powder contains antioxidants that help combat oxidative stress and inflammation. It also supports digestive health by aiding in the digestion of food, reducing bloating, and soothing nausea. Incorporating this powder into your diet can offer these benefits while providing a more controlled and mild ginger flavor.
4. Ease of Use
Using Vinayak’s Ecoflav Ginger Powder is incredibly convenient. Unlike fresh ginger, which requires peeling and grating, the powdered form can be easily measured and added to recipes. This convenience makes it a practical choice for home cooks and professional chefs alike, saving time and effort in meal preparation.

Ok this is random and TMI but I love this group 🫶🏻😂 But has anyone ever had pain/cramps in their bum when it’s that time of the month?? 😨😩 This is a completely new symptom for me and I’m not even that young but oh my gosh I’ve kind of heard of women getting it but didn’t realise it’s this bad! Like sharp, shooting pains?
Girl…..you are not alone, I immediately went here
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CNKZGNJnfnq/?igsh=c3U2eW4wNXhrY2U=
I’m sorry you’re in pain, these are the absolute worst. One thing I found that has helped is drinking lemon ginger ‘tea’ (I put the organic dry ginger powder in boiled water with fresh lemon juice) and I sip that throughout the day (it’s okay if it cools down). I start a couple days before my period and during my period.
Basically when your prostaglandin hormones release, they are highly inflammatory and cause the muscles of your uterus contract and the lining of the uterine to shed thus giving you the ‘booty daggers’. The compounds in dry ginger inhibit that inflammation and reduce your pain while you’re still shedding. I’d give it a try. Obviously everyone’s body is different, but hopefully this will work for you. I’ve completely stopped taking naproxen and ibuprofen for period cramps because the ginger works and it’s more natural.
thank you so much for sharing this 🫶🏼 i absolutely love ginger.. and it’s naturally a great anti-inflammatory, so this makes sense. i hope it helps anon out! i never did anything besides take pain killers, but since my endometriosis was treated, i no longer experience those sensations.

Helpful Tips and Natural Remedies for Nausea and Vomiting
Nausea and vomiting is a common side-effect of some chemotherapies. Depending on location, radiation can also cause nausea and vomiting. Here are some tips and natural recommendations that can help.
Dietary Recommendations
1. Staying hydrated is very important. If possible, try to drink 8 or more cups of liquid each day (and an additional ½ to 1 cup for each episode of vomiting). Sip small amounts frequently throughout the day. You may need to use a straw. Wait 30 to 60 minutes after eating solid foods before drinking liquids. Avoid very hot liquids and use a covered cup if smells are bothersome. Clear fluids are usually the best tolerated. Try one or all of the following:
Water or ice chips
Juice (diluted with water or sparkling water)
Frozen fruit-juice bars (or popsicles made from these other fluid choices)
Vegetable broth
2. If vomiting is an issue, when it's controlled, try to replenish lost fluids and electrolytes. First try small amounts of clear liquids. 👆 Next add in water mixed with an electrolyte powder. Here are two I recommend.
Trace Minerals Power Pak, Mango Orange
Trace Minerals Power Pak, Mixed Berry
Start with a teaspoon every 10 minutes and gradually increase the amount to 1 tablespoon, and eventually to ¼ cup. Next add plain, easy-to-digest, starchy foods such as crackers or bread, and continue to incorporate more foods in if/when they are tolerated.
3. Eat small amounts of food frequently throughout the day. Nausea may be intensified on an empty stomach since stomach acid usually makes nausea worse.
4. Choose foods that appeal to you and that you feel you can tolerate. Be aware that your tastes may change from day-to-day and from hour-to-hour.
5. Food that may help nausea include: dry toast or cereal, plain crackers, pretzels, rice cakes, pita bread, plain rice, cold pasta without sauce, potatoes, hot cereal, applesauce, canned fruit, fruit-juice-sweetened sorbets or ices, and organic eggs.
6. Foods that are served cold or at room temperature may be easier to consume. Avoid foods with strong odors, as well as environments with strong smells of food, smoke, candles, and perfumes. Avoid warm, stuffy rooms.
7. Avoid fatty, fried, spicy, or overly sweet foods.
8. Brush your teeth and/or use (natural) mouthwash both before and after meals. Lingering tastes can trigger nausea and also may decrease appetite. Sucking on mints or lozenges in between meals may help.
9. Try eating a small amount of grated ginger. Add it to rice or other bland foods. Herbal teas such as ginger, fennel, peppermint, orange, and tangerine may help.
10. Consider ginger capsules, ginger chews, and herbal bitters specifically for nausea. Here are two supplements I highly recommend:
Nutritional Fundamentals for Health Ginger SAP
Herb Pharm Better Bitters
Other Suggestions:
Acupuncture is one of the most effective therapies for chemo-induced nausea and vomiting. In fact, most insurance companies cover the cost of or reimburse for acupuncture when it’s related to this condition. Find a licensed acupuncturist in your area who is well trained in oncology care.
Try other stress-management therapies including focused relaxation and breathing exercises, hypnosis and self-hypnosis, guided imagery, biofeedback, and wrist-band acupressure.
Overstimulating the nervous system can induce nausea and vomiting. Avoid noisy environments and commotion. Limit conversation when nauseous.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that does not create restriction on or around your abdomen.
Moderate aerobic activity such as walking for 10 to 30 minutes per day may help with peristalsis and digestion. Fresh air can also be beneficial. Avoid lying flat for an hour or two after eating. If you need to rest, sit or recline with your head at least four inches higher than your feet.
Fill a bowl with boiling water. Add one drop of essential oil of ginger per pint of water. Cover your head with a towel, close your eyes, and inhale the aroma for 5 minutes.
