Okay,  so  maybe  Din  shouldn't  have  tried  to  fight  with  the  darksaber  again  until  he  had  better  luck  at  using  it  against  his  enemies  than  he  did  at  accidentally  using  it  against  himself.  At  the  rate  he  was  going,  that  dark  hole  of  a  sword  was  going  to  end  up  in  the  hands  of  a  storm  trooper  and  Bo-Katan  find  some  way  to  make  him  suffer  for  the  rest  of  his  afterlife  because  Din  certainly  wouldn't  be  allowed  to  live  if  he  lost  it  back  to  another  Imp.

Getting  used  to  any  weapon  took  practice  and  maybe  he  should  have  used  a  less  dangerous  fight  for  that  practice,  maybe  he  only  ended  up  taking  that  blaster  bolt  because  he  couldn't  move  fast  enough  while  holding  onto  the  sword,  but  he  lived.  That  was  what  counted  at  the  end  of  the  day,  wasn't  it?  Living?  And  Din  was  no  stranger  to  patching  himself  back  up,  wounds  treated  in  isolation  because  of  the  way  he  travelled  alone.  It  wasn't  the  bleeding  wound  that  was  unfamiliar  to  Din  as  much  as  having  someone  sit  down  to  treat  it,  a  flesh  and  blood  person  with  a  medkit  and  a  far  higher  rank  than  a  bounty  hunter  could  ever  hold.

Well...  so  technically  he  was  the  Mand'alor.  But  he  wasn't  thinking  about  it.  Bo-Katan  would  get  the  sword  eventually,  it  was  fine.

"Uh..."  Not  that  he  didn't  appreciate  the  bacta  spray  and  the  bandages,  but...  "Isn't  there  something  more  important  you  should  be  doing?"  He  asked  blankly,  staring  at  her  face  instead  of  the  mess  she  was  tending  to.  Just  because  Din  didn't  keep  up  with  galactic  politics  didn't  mean  that  he  hadn't  heard  several  people  mention  who  she  was,  how  important  she  was.  He'd  heard  her  called  princess,  general,  and  senator,  but  he  hadn't  heard  anyone  call  her  medic.

I mean seriously, come on people! Okay, now believe what you want, but Han freaking Solo was force sensitive. Whether he accepted it/realized it or not, he was. There’s no way one man has that much luck.

Okay, yes he grew up on the streets of Corellia learning and honing certain skills like persuasion and perfecting the subtlety of pulling off sneaky shit but there’s no way that went completely unassisted. Han was a kid, a confused, alone, bumbling kid, there was a very small chance of him ever pulling off any of this stuff unnoticed and we all know he’s no stranger to trouble. But somehow he always gets out of this trouble? Be it by some skill or method of persuasion.

Which brings me to my first point: who’s to say that persuasion isn’t him knowingly/unknowingly invoking the force to pull off the mind trick? Han is a smooth talker, yes but is he that smooth? Okay, yes probably, but that’s not the point. I’m willing to bet money that Han has used this to his advantage more than a few times to talk himself out of a situation. He’s had bounty hunters on his tail and other authorities attempt to or who have arrested him before and yet he slips away.

I’m also willing to bet money Han used the force to win the Millennium Falcon.

Sure, he stole Lando’s cheat card, but how exactly? Mind you, Lando is another man who also can talk his way in, around and out of anything. Lando is also skilled in the same subtle skills as Han so you think he wouldn’t notice Han swiping it? Nah, he used the force then too. Lifted it without a finger touching it and that is why Lando didn’t notice. I’m sure he could also sense if and when Lando was bluffing about his cards and knew what to play and when to play it.

To the next point: his piloting skills. Han is an amazing pilot, no doubt, I’m not taking that away from him. BUT is anyone that good without a little help? All the near misses, the close calls escaping enemies? There’s so many incidents where the Falcon could have and should have been toast but by some miracle it wasn’t. The primary one? The Kessel Run.

A run that normally takes at least 18-20 parsecs to complete, Solo completed it in 12. Granted, he took the shortcut through The Maw, but that made it an even more perilous trip. Yet, he had a good feeling about it? What feeling? He knew he would pull it off because he had his luck the force. How else could he pull something like that off based on raw skill alone? With TIE fighters on his tail at that? In a ship he was just becoming familiar with. The maneuvers alone that he had to pull off in a territory he knew nothing about would be overwhelming for anyone. I fully believe, whether or not it occurred knowingly or not the force helped guide him through that too.

Like seriously? Even as a great pilot, how do you navigate something that life-threatening without trusting in something else to help you along. Also, that gif right there just reads like he knows something the others don’t based on facial expression alone and the way he says “we’re fine.” That’s a type of confidence that only a person who truly knows they’re coming out of this alive.

Like, yes we know Han is a good shot, there’s no denying that. But behind his back without looking?? One could argue, “but they were surrounded/under attack so it’s logical to think they’d be attacked from all sides” but how could he know exactly where that buckethead was? There’s no way to know when you’re facing the opposite direction. It’s a feeling. He could sense it and he knew where to put that blaster to get that shot off with that accuracy.

I think I’ve rambled enough about this but, in short: Han Solo was force sensitive and that is a hill I will die on. I’m not saying how strong or weak he was in the force but regardless, it was there. Whether he knew it or not is up for interpretation but dealing with that ability is something Han would have never gotten to explore anyway as he grew up alone. He had no one to teach him about it or what to do with it and how to hone it. Though, it’s clear he’s invoked it on several different occasions. But I believe he possibly knew to some extent that something was different about him, inside him and sure, maybe he didn’t know it was the force seeing as he’s so adamant about it not being a thing in A New Hope but it’s always been there and he just calls it luck. she  forgets  sometimes  that  leia  is  still  a  girl,  overlooks  the  last  remnants  of  youth  that  cling  to  fair  features  for  the𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒛𝒆  within  dark  eyes.  padme  too  had  possessed  a  fire,  though  her’s  was  slow  simmering,  not  so  quick  to  manifest  as  that  which  burned  within  leia.  she  looks  like  her  mother  when  she’s  thinking,  dorme  knows,  brow  furrowed  just  the  same  when  scouring  plans  and  documents,  jaw  steeled  when  deciding  course  of  action.

𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 ; 𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝,   running late to a gala event . . . yet again. dick could already feel the glare, coming from his adoptive father, before he even stepped into the ballroom! he had surely noticed dick’s absence, but it wasn’t his fault a bunch of penguin’s goons had opened up shop down at the docks and with bruce pre-occupied with his guests, dick had took it upon himself to deal with them. a short hour later, a quick clean up and a dab of makeup to cover any bruising, the ward was stepping through the doors in his most recently purchased suit ; adjusting his tie and collar as he came. bruce was already centred stage, given out the speech alfred had prepared for him in advance, meaning dick could easily slip into the crowd and wait out the storm that was surely going to come.

eyes scanned the room, looking out for her . . . she said she’d be here tonight. she may be his only saving grave for the evening, both from bruce’s wrath and from complete and utter boredom. this is not how he liked to spend his nights, mopping about in some ballroom ; with a fake smile on his face and shaking hands with anyone that so approaches him. he’d much rather be doing what he done best! stalking the night, donned in his suit of black and blue with his mask, escrima sticks on his back! . . . he was missing the weight of them. oh, what he’d give to be wearing that skin tight suit right over, over his luxury one. finally, blue orbs found leia amongst the crowd and he promptly began to make his way through them to get to her.   ❛ hey! ❜   he loudly whispered as he snuck up behind her, with that large and wide grin on his face! a hand came to land on her shoulder and gave a gentle squeeze.   ❛ what’d i miss? has he mentioned the big donation he’ll be making yet? ❜

not exactly what you expect to hear from a general but it fits with her. so much so that it brings a small smile to his lips, a barely there quirk that can likely not be noticed by anyone except the general who sits in front of him. the other pilots around him, the newest recruits, are so focused on her that he doesn’t think any of them would even have their eyes on him.

after the clapping, the thank you, and the other shuffling out of the room high on being given a talk from her, poe moves to her side. “you know you just made it a million times harder for me to keep them from pulling stunts before they’re ready, right?” 

he wouldn’t have it any other way, poe has found that he chafes under officers that don’t know how to really lead. who think their word is law. truthfully, poe doubts he could ever follow anyone as ever happily as he’ll listen to this general.

“but it was a good speech, general.”

        sometimes the future looked so dark, and all sansa longed to do was change the river’s current, make it flow in r e v e r s e so she could return to brighter days. she’d been HAPPY then. she’d been safe then. everything had been better then. but time only flowed in a single direction. she could freeze in place, sometimes the fear and sorrow made that prospect so tempting, but that wasn’t the stark way; WOLVES MUST BE BRAVE else they failed the pack - that terrified sansa more than whatever may await her around the bend.

There wasn’t much else to do at this point.  They were safely in hyperspace, with no way for Darth Vader -- his father -- to track or follow them, headed for the rendezvous point with the rest of the Rebel Alliance . . . but they were missing someone.  

He still felt cold, his teeth chattering despite the blanket over his shoulders and the bacta pack clamped to his wrist, but he forced himself to settle back in the bunk, starring dead eyed into the middle distance. 

“I’m sorry, Leia,” He said softly, his voice scratchy and hoarse though he wasn’t entirely sure why-- had be been screaming?  Maybe he had.  He couldn’t recall, everything had blurred at some point.  He tore his eyes away from the far off spaces to look at her, reaching for her iwth his left hand to try to provide comfort, even with what little was left of his own strength and sanity.  “I’m sorry.”

    THE  VISION  HE’D  HAD  LONG  AGO  WAS  NOW  starting  to  take  shape .      the  droids  he’d  been  waiting  on  were  finally  here  and  clearing  out  the  area  he  had  marked  off  for  his  academy .      not  far  from  the  temples  the  rebellion  had  called  their  base  during  the  war ,    temples  that  had  once  belonged  to  the  Force .      the  Sith ,    to  be  precise .      now  sat  empty  as  a  monument  to  the  past  and  hopefully  a  learning  tool ,    and  resource ,    for  the  future .      Luke  felt  overjoyed  to  see  the  start  of  progress  for  his  vision .      he  had  eagerly  awaited  this  moment  since  he  had  settled  on  Yavin - 4  for  this  step  towards  rebuilding  the  Jedi  Order .      it  hardly  seemed  real  now  that  it  was  just  within  his  grasp .

    Luke  sat  on  the  mossy  ground ,    with  the  miles - long  stretch  of  trees  encircling  the  academy  sight  behind  him ,    overlooking  the  building  on  the  other  side  of  the  lake .      legs  crossed  and  hands  folded  in  his  lap .      the  sun  glinted  occasionally  off  of  the  droids  as  they  cleared  the  area ,    he  could  just  make  out  the  blue  and  silver  cylinder  of  Artoo  helping  to  give  direction .
