6. Have you ever started to write a relationship and had it develop differently than you expected? How so?

Definitely! I think this happens with every fic I write that involves a couple, to be honest. Went into DALDOM with the idea "what if Dottore had a soulmate and he happened to have the opportunity to kill them?" and look what happened! Yes, it's important to stick with your outline if you're plotting and want specific things to happen/need to touch on certain elements. But you also kind of have to be open to characters changing and developing over the course of the story.

14. Are there any relationship dynamics/tropes you want to write in the future, but haven't yet?

Mmm. There are certain tropes or dynamics I don't mind reading but wouldn't want to write, so that makes it tricky. I think time travel/fish out of water or some kind of a royal AU would be fun once the plate is a bit empty!

31. Are there any songs that remind you of [couple]? Are there any songs that remind them of each other?

There's a lot and yet not enough lol.

A Question of Lust by Depeche Mode is definitely fitting.

Ville Valo's Neon Noir would fit Dottore thinking of Karina (feels like a reach but I'm settling on it).

Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio - In High Heels Through Nights of Broken Glass is pretty good for the reverse.

45. What type of relationship do you struggle most to write? Why is it difficult for you?

Anything where miscommunication is the absolute standard or couples play ridiculous games with each other rather than just being honest. Especially if it's a romance/has a romance and like...that's what the plot is. I don't excel at it and really don't want to lol It's not something I particularly enjoyed "back in the day" and I just don't enjoy writing it. I don't find it compelling but then again, those aren't the types of characters I write either! XD
