DAY 15: TREASURE

Yk some people find others that they consider as treasures, so I took that definition and the normal one, anyway THIS IS THE LAST DAY IM SO HAPPY I FINISHED IT

I feel incredibly soft about Orcawood

AND NOT ONLY BECAUSE I AM A 90s DOLPHIN AUTIST! (Yes, orca are part of the dolphin family) Come back! I HAVE TASTY ANGST!

So we have this array of wonderful merpeople. Mermeryl, Mermilly, Mervash. All perfectly healthy and cute merpeople. A fishy cast. With gills and ability to breathe under water!

But how the fuck did a mammal join them? An orca is a mammal. They have to breathe air, even though their body is cannot live on a land anymore.

What if the Eye of Michael in this world is a bit more... Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire inspired. But instead of creating more space for humans or animals, it was about ruling more space, the ocean.

So they took mammal orphans and put them through the grinder until they got their S++ Wolfwood. But he is still a failure, because he needs to breathe air.

The vials could be something that enables him to hold his breath for a longer time, with the setback that too much of them turn his blood toxic to himself.

Orcawood has not only lost his humanity (or whatever animal he was before) as a killer, but also literally. He is something else and can neither truly live with the mermaids nor with the humans anymore.

(Vash is still an outlier since he is an octopus instead of a typical finned one. But even he is a being of the water.)
