Unilateral cleft lip and alveolus defect This little girl was born with a right-sided cleft lip and alveolus defect. Her parents were referred to us for surgical management of her defects. The labial sulcus was first recreated using a flap from the prolabium. It was then decided to do a three-layer closure to approximate the cleft segments of her lip. Under magnification provided by a surgical loupe, the orbicularis oris, subcutaneous tissue and skin were meticulously reapproximated to recreate the lip. Streams of MDS..... NEET MDS 2020 – National Board of Examination (NBE) has announced the NEET MDS 2020 result in online mode on January 15. The cutoff for general category is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40th percentile and for UR-PwD it is 45th percentile. The marks equivalent to the qualifying cutoff percentile have been declared along with the result of NEET MDS 2020. As per NEET MDS result data, a total of 20,000 candidates took the computer based test, of which only 12,128 have qualified the exam. NBE conducted NEET MDS exam on December 20, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During the calculation of NEET MDS result 2020, four marks were allotted for every correct answer, while one mark was deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying percentile of NEET MDS as specified by NBE. Xray of my son's face after #oralmaxillofacialsurgery - alot went into having this #surgery - my son has his #specialneeds one of which is his #seizures #intractableseizures - he didn't have his #vagalnervestimulator yet but his #seizures were still up their in numbers. He wasn't able to tell the #oralmaxillofacialsurgeon where anything hurt or felt out of place which presented challenges. Then he does not have a pain perception. Him having #mentalretardatıon brought on other challenges because of him not understanding things the #surgeon needed him to understand. But he came out ok in the end. He wanted to stop breathing as he was in recovery so we had to go get #grandma to talk to him to get him to breathe. Which worked but it was scary there for a bit. Then the next few days them having to call a hospital code on him due to the high level of seizure activity he repeatedly kept having. His body was fighting them off the best they could but also having to fight everything else due to the surgery.
