Sadly no Sims, but I did open Cities Skylines and play for a little bit. I got the last expansion and creator content packs. Not sure why since they are going to come out with CS2 in the Fall. 🤷‍♀️But it's pretty to look at and I can spam trees, bushes and fences to my hearts content. we won't talk about the town because it's a bit ick. lol And I'm tired of no new pictures on my blog. ttyl 🙋‍♀️

Semi-Hiatus & Health Update:

Hey, y’all. Just giving everyone a head’s up that I won’t be making gifs anymore. My eyesight has taken a turn and I have early onset Cataracts in both eyes. My vision is blurry even with glasses now. They’re currently updating my prescription and the new glasses won’t be here for 3 weeks. So I’m trying to type this without bein’ able to see very well. The letters overlap and are extremely blurry, so if there’s typos, I apologize. But… thanks to that, I’m also gonna have to extend my hiatus. I can barely see to read or type and bein’ online is kinda giving me a headache. Too much eye strain so… I won’t be online much for about another month or so. Just wanted to let people know part of why I’m so absent these days. Take care and much love to all y’all! ❤️🧡💛

it  was  no  secret  that  rupert's  car  before  this  shiny  new  one  was  on  its  last  leg  and,  frankly,  dangerous  to  drive  around  in.  but,  it's  also  not  a  secret  that  he  had  chosen  this  car  for  specific  reasons  such  as  a  newer  version  and  'i'm  not  as  old  as  you  all  make  me  seem'.  of  course,  the  whole  new  shiny  version  of  himself  he  was  attempting  to  outwardly  portray  wasn't  exactly  fooling  anyone,  least  of  all  himself.  he  didn't  exactly  enjoy  the  way  this  car  drove,  despite  it's  seductive  appearances  and  lusty  crimson  color.  he  wanted  something  else,  more  his  real  style,  and  that's  why  he  thought  about  giving  it  to  dawn  once  she  achieved  her  driver's  license.  he  didn't  want  to  tell  her  yet,  though,  he  wanted  to  keep  it  as  a  surprise  to  her.  he  should  probably  consult  with  buffy  first  and  foremost,  after  all.

he  sat  back  in  his  seat  and  forced  himself  not  to  be  a  backseat  driver,  keeping  his  eyes  focused  on  the  road  and  keep  his  breathing  under  control.  his  eyes  rounded  out  in  fear  when  his  car  suddenly  jolted  forward  when  she  let  go  of  the  brake  too  fast.  he  braced  himself  with  the  door  handle  as  he  slowly  looked  over  at  dawn.  he  shook  his  head  lightly,  ❛  dawn,  please,  language  ...  ❜  he  stated  softly,  clearing  his  throat  nervously.  he  expected  hiccups  from  her,  so  he  kept  his  thoughts  to  himself.  he  chuckles  gently  under  his  breath,  ❛  yes,  well,  it's  beginning  to  get  on  my  nerves,  quite  frankly.  m'  glad  you're  enjoying  it  more  than  i  have.  ❜

As tired of being on semi-hiatus as I am, I need to reinforce it again a little harder, at least for a few more days. TW: Pet loss under cut.

Two and a half months ago, I had to say goodbye to my dog. Shortly after that, i got sick for over a month with a head virus that hit me exceptionally hard, had horrible net issues... And now today, we've had to say goodbye to our other dog, whose health dropped hard since losing Gus - She was the hardest hit of all of us and ultimately, her health tanked into issues we genuinely had no idea she had until her broken heart just... Amplified them. Though she was my aunt's dog, she's been living with us since Nicky was around a year or two old, and for the most part, she's been my dog in everything but name for the last ten or so years.

This is the first time in my life I've been without a dog in the house, and it being so close to Gus's passing, this is hitting me severely hard, doubly so because due to my own health, I had to say goodbye the night before instead of being there when she left the house for the last time today. I'm not handling this super well at all, and while I wanted to take this semi-hiatus off and get back into the swing of things now that I'm feeling better, that's... Gonna have to wait, at minimum for a few more days.

If I get anything done, it's either gonna be background blogwork, or a small thread on @thundertide at best, and more than likely the former. I've been working to rehaul multiple of my blogs while sick and I just... I need tedious blogwork to keep me from breaking down right now.

I'm always lingering around even if I'm not posting anything if anyone needs me, and my queue is set to continue through this with a day's Sera post. I'm sorry for another extension of this, y'all - Hoping the universe stops kicking me soon, because this is way too much.

@ the 2 anons (not sure if they’re the same person or not) that pointed out my orange washing of some mmm edits: thank you for saying so and I do see it now and realize it’s wrong and harmful. I’m not gonna justify it bc they were over saturated and it’s inexcusable

I apologize to both of you and everyone else that saw them and was (rightfully) bothered. I’ll do my best so that it doesn’t happen again and I’ll also watch out for my usual colorings, since I think they might be getting more and more saturated in general. If a pattern like this does occur again tho I will not only delete the post but I’ll most likely stop giffing altogether, since otherwise I’ll just be doing something harmful. So don’t hesitate to point it out again if it does
