This just reminded me! Strickler definitely wasn't fully correct when he said "when I transform, I go from fully troll to fully human." Seeing as changelings 1) leave behind skeletal remains, unlike all other trolls that just fully turn to stone upon death and 2) when in human form, Nomura coughed up purple blood
I totally forgot that Merlin's potion to turn Jim into a troll required the femur of a changeling. ik Jim obviously couldn't transform back and forth like one, but would that make him at least biologically part changeling?

#ts4#simblr#ts4 edit#ts4 render#sims 4#blood tw#myedits#mb#red#teeth#i have not posted the actual monster boyz since november. november!!!!#did you guys miss them. i missed them#i have not worked on their story at all since the cricket post#i have GOT to get to work on the origin stories. oh well. i'll get to it when i get to it lol#n e way i finally remembered to put red's good eye to the camera lol#whenever i make edits i put red on the other side w/out thinking & all you can see is his blind eye#which is fine except it's near impossible to tell where he is looking which is usually important in my edits#he isn't totally totally blind in that eye. like. he can see shadows & light but it's definitely not clear#i actually just realized i don't think i've ever talked about his blindness before#there is a reason he is blind in that eye but it's a bit complicated. it has to do w his life before the apocalypse#the way mutations work in this universe is a bit weird & hard to explain. like there are several factors that determine one's mutations#for red it's mostly based on his trauma & his psychological state during the time of his mutation#his mutations manifest both physically & emotionally#teeth's are mostly physical bc he yk. got the shit beat out of him before he died. but!#becoming a monster also amplified all of his worst traits! like anger. impulsiveness. violent tendencies. he's basically always starving bc#those feelings act almost like a hunger for him. he craves intensity#cricket's is more complicated bc he is not a full monster. his are almost entirely psychological aside from his arm/bits of their face#& he's able to retain most of his human self up until the end#theirs are trauma based like red's but in a different way. it's more a combination of his anxiety & fears rather than lived trauma#if that makes sense. i'm not very articulate about this stuff sorry lol

OCD - Kyle angst (tw: blood)
It's funny that i'm posting a vent piece now. Kyle is the subject of such pain, as Schlecht and I have given him contamination OCD. I have a similar form, and I will admit: OCD is a slimy two-faced little bitch that has you second guessing every minor thing you do. However, on a serious note, it's exhausting. I put more energy into whether my oven is actually off or not than what deserves my attention, like art, family, friends, or pets. I am no poet, or writer, so I sincerely apologize for my crudeness.
To explain OCD to an digestible level, I like to say my compulsions are a form of addiction. I crave them. I itch for them. When I am preforming my compulsions I have saved myself, my loved ones, the world. Another way to put it is that my compulsions are like a goldfish, and I have let it go, released it's tiny golden body and feathery fins into the lake and now it has grown bigger than I imagined. Usually, goldfish die before they evolve into their beastly forms, but mine did not. It's invasive, a bully to the other wildlife, and a detriment to the ecosystem.
He's a psycho bitch when I don't feed him, so to avoid a breakdown, I give him my attention. He's really annoying actually, but I don't really know how to stop. Circling back, it's like an addiction. I can't stop. I don't want to stop. I know they say one must be discomforted to grow, but what happens when your discomfort is accentuated by a fuck ass goldfish that can't shut his mouth and should've been guzzled by a cat years ago?
Anyway, this piece is me (or Kyle) giving into the compulsions.

My personal hc about Sanji's family is that Zeff & Sora are siblings. And Zeff was reminded of Sora when he rescued Sanji. And he never knew Sanji was Sora's son.
(also Zeff & Sora being siblings just made more sense to me. And it's easier to write in modern aus on why Zeff had custody of Sanji.)

It briefly abandons its studies to collect "abnormal" (evil) minds of the intelligent species of Lidian, thus punishing evil-doers through what non-lishtees consider "death". Be good, be boring, and it might lead the lost traveler home.

Silly Petra, hopefully in Tru Piss and Supreme Bullshit, she's fully Adrestianised and understands her foolish savage folklore were only lies and deceit spread by those vile creatures masquerading as humans to keep control over Fodlan, but savage and ignorant as her people are, they prefered to buy those lies instead of "defeating" them all to free the world for humanity.
And people say Imperialism BaD, go figure!
But if Petra remains uncivilised and ditches Adrestia's warm embrace, she allows those creatures to rule over humanity again, propagating her foolish and ridiculous tales :(
