one thing that always makes me want to go full doomer blackpill is the way people are still so anthro-centric when it comes to climate change and environmentalism

like. the majority of people alive today are aware of climate change, the only way to not be aware is to be willfully ignorant. said majority is also, generally aware that climate change is a bad thing. and yet. and YET. people seem to be incapable of comprehending the idea that maybe the consequences of global warming that superficially seem like positives are actually still negatives

THE FACT THAT ITS NOT SNOWING SHOULD ALARM YOU #and heaven fucking forbid you ever suggest that maybe there dont need to be 5 new types of smartphone coming out every year #or that we dont need to have year round access to tropical fruits #theyll look at you like you just suggested euthanizing every dog in the world
