Like yeah, let me spend hours making art and creating characters based on how I feel when I listen to certain songs on an album just to get told I'm wrong and the characters aren't mine because the album was my inspiration and the character names are the songs I based the feelings on 🙄😐

#yapping #why do i even bother trying to interact with other people #it makes me feel like i should have never created them #my art is for me #i only posted it because i was proud of them and thought other people would think theyre cool #i wasnt claiming the songs were mine...#but the property brothers are mine???#the property brothers are not awsten or waterparks...#theyre magical boys i made to process my feelings while searching my property #my story is not awstens story and i will not pretend like i know what he went through to create those songs #im so confused right now #i specifically didnt look into awstens property lore so that my feelings would stay true to my characters and how i felt when listening #the only things that were the same were the concept of the property and the song names being the ones i felt the most when creating them #its even a really basic color pallette...#i never claimed the album or the song names as my own- i merely used the album as a vessel for my own feelings to make art #fuck the internet sucks #my ocs #my art #its like saying koyuki isnt my oc because shes a demon slayer and i didnt create demon slayers #or that mae isnt my oc because shes from the kaiju no 8 universe #its silly and wasted energy so i quite literally deleted the post and the app i was using be ause it wasnt worth it #and its even more different because im not actually using the parx accurate lore- im exploring my own property #my other ocs i follow the canon timeline as much as i possibly can and theyre still *my* ocs #like what do you mean
