Related to that last post -
I have semi-followed jfashion/lolita fashion blogs for pretty much my entire internet career. One of the things that I see really frequently on 'outfit of the day' posts from these blogs is that they'll list the brands where they got an article if it's a Known Brand. Then, at the end of the post, there's an 'everything else offbrand'.
I get why this happens. But I've rotated in my mind for a while now the concept of doing a fashion blog where the outfit info breaks down where every single item comes from, not just the expensive fashion brand items. Because I think there's an unintended impression that comes from these kinds of posts that, if you want a coordinated outfit in a specific style that looks good, you have to spend a lot of money.
You can do that, if that's an option for you! And there are ways to get that Brand Look, if it's the brand you're attached to, without spending Brand Money. Secondhand sales are major in that sphere of fashion, as are (at least in lolita fashion) replicas, which have been controversial but I support on the simple principle that they extend the size range in which certain designs that are never produced above a Large are available in.
But moving outside the circles of jfashion and lolita fashion (and, heck, even including them), I do think there could be value in more people who dress up in cool outfits providing a source for everything they're wearing. Because sometimes an investment item can make an outfit. But more often, I've found, it's everything else you wear with the investment item that really showcases the investment item and creates a look, instead of just...wearing an expensive thing that came from a big name brand.
And I don't think it'd be a bad thing, especially in this age of internet fashion people and conspicuous consumption and kids getting the impression that subculture fashion has to be expensive and brand-name, to remind people how your own personal taste and judgment can be used to create Outfits and Looks without having to spend a lot of money or own any big name brand items, at all.
#i get regular compliments on my 'unique style' and legit a good 45% of everything I own is just clearance stuff from joe fresh#another 35% is from winners and the remaining 20% is investment items; handmade; thrifted; or handmedowns#it's about having an idea in mind of what you want to express#and being creative about using the pieces you've got#and being able to imagine how you might use a potential piece with other pieces you already have#or pieces you might be able to easily acquire or make#and always being open to and aware of the possibilities in what's available to you#(including shopping outside your 'section'. I could have spent $35 on an oversized white dress shirt in the women's section.#i instead got a size large white dress shirt for $10 from the men's clearance section. looks exactly the damn same.)#(AND it's better quality cotton too!)#and knowing what you're willing to spend a little more on to get Exactly The Right One#(and/or what will be of high enough quality and work well enough with enough different styles as yours develops >#< that you'll get much MUCH use out of it for a long time)#it's absolutely a skill but it's one that you can learn! and develop! and get better at!#i just think everyone should have clothes that they feel good in#and not be made to feel like that's impossible for Them In Particular for any reason

How to Burn Your Own CDs - a guide for Windows users
Are you--yes, you!--tired of paying money to stupid shit like spotify for your music? Do you hate the way that the music industry takes almost all the profit that bands make through streaming and leaves them with pennies? Have you ever wanted to fire up that old CD-Radio in the corner of your bedroom, only to be stopped because all you have on CD is Weezer's blue album and a copy of Kidz Bop 16 that you don't remember buying? Well this guide just might be for you!
Materials you'll need:
A computer. Can't do it without this one.
A CD drive. It can be internal or external, but you'll need one either way. You can find them at Office Depot for fairly cheap and I've heard that some Walmarts carry them.
A pack of CD-Rs. CD-Rs, or CD Recordables, come in packs of 20, 50, or 100. A proper 100-pack should cost you no more than $30, so unless there's some special shortage in your area, don't buy from anywhere selling them at a markup. CD blanks are literally 50c a piece.
CD cases. Sold wherever CD-Rs are, but you can also find these at thrift stores pretty easily.
A sharpie or some kind of permanent marker
Software you'll need:
Jdownloader. You can acquire mp3s through Bandcamp if you're dedicated to righteousness, but for everyone else, install jdownloader or some other kind of open-source download program. I will be proceeding as if you have jdownloader available.
Windows media player. This should open automatically when you insert a CD-R into your CD drive.
Fre:ac audio converter. This is only for the occasion that you encounter OPUS or mp4a files that cannot be interpreted by your CD player.
Note: If you're very determined not to download software onto your computer, you can use free youtube downloaders and audio converters, but these are subject to viruses and other issues such as download speed. I will be proceeding as if you have the programs I listed.
The process:
Decide what you want to burn--anything goes, but keep in mind the time limit on your CD-Rs. Most will record 90 minutes or less.
Open jdownloader, switch to the linkgrabber tab, then paste youtube links in any order until you have all the music you want. I'd personally recommend doing it song-by-song instead of a full album stream, because a massive file will require a lot of work to separate back into searchable tracks.
De-select all files except audio on the right-hand side options menu.
Make a folder inside the music folder of your laptop and label it with the name of your mix CD.
In the properties tab of each song on jdownloader, change the destination folder to the folder you've just created.
Hit "start all downloads".
Once finished, open each folder. If everything is an .mp3 or a .wav, skip the next 2 steps.
Open Fre:ac audio converter to convert all audio files that aren't .mp3 or .wav into .mp3 or .wav.
Drop the converted files next to the unconverted files in your folder. If you wish, you can delete the originals to make the folder easier to browse.
Put your blank CD-R into the CD drive. If external, plug in your CD drive first or the tray will refuse to open.
Windows media player will open automatically. On the right-hand side, you will see the tracklist of your CD-R (which should be blank). On the left, you will see the audio that your computer is able to find in the music folder. Put your selected tracks IN ORDER onto the tracklist.
Listen to the beginning and ending of each track to make sure there isn't a significant time gap. This also prevents accidentally burning a youtuber's stupid outro if you missed it before.
When satisfied, hit "start burn".
On an external drive, the CD tray will open upon completion. You can reinsert it to ensure that the burning went smoothly.
Once satisfied, remove the CD from your drive. With your sharpie or permanent marker, write the name of the album on the front, then store safely inside a CD case.
you did it👍
Ask me if you run into any issues.

bug toys!
alright, here’s my mini-guide to getting into the world of Weirdly Articulated, almost entirely Japanese bug toys.
some caveats:
1) most of these toys aren’t great for kids. they have a lot of small lose-able, breakable, poke-able parts and can fall apart pretty easily. 2) i’m in the US, so i’m not quite sure how to acquire these things if ebay and Buyee don’t work for you 3) ‘bugs’ for the purpose of this guide (and entire blog tbh) is any invertebrate why would i want fake bugs when i can get real bugs? 1) fake bugs don’t die and can be neglected forever. they will never bite, sting, poop on you, or be stinky (unless you make them stinky) 2) fake bugs can be handled constantly, they will not get stressed out or pick up any germs from you 3) fake bugs can be much larger than real bugs, or be species that would be impossible or unethical to own or breed. they can even be fun made up creatures 4) fake bugs don’t require any kind of tank, substrate or food, and they will not breed uncontrollably (or at all) 5) they cannot escape and become an invasive species 6) buying them doesn’t support shady or unethical ‘breeders’ who just take bugs from the wild (not saying all bug breeders do this, but it’s definitely a problem with certain kinds of bugs)
this is not to discourage any responsible bug-culturing you might want to get into, but for me, as a pretty depressed person without a lot of space, these are all big plusses!
onto the fake bugs
ikimono encyclopedia
unfortunately these photos will be some dark toys against dark backgrounds because i am a goth bastard and everything i own is black. sorry.
so, these being Japanese toys, I’m not entirely sure of the correct terms for them. these are pretty much just the search terms I’ve discovered over time that work to find them. as far as I can tell, Japan LOVES bugs and has a very enviable appreciation for them, they don’t seem to be considered nearly as gross or weird or bad as they are in the west.
these are a series gachapon or capsule toys. you can get all kinds of awesome little toys, which are often strangely detailed and often high quality, from vending machines in Japan.
here are some current listings from ebay to give you an idea of the variety and prices:
they also have a lot of cool fish and reptiles in this series. prices can be a bit steep, but you’re usually buying the whole set of toys pictured, not just a one-off. they’re usually a few inches, pretty well painted and articulated, and come as individually wrapped kits you have to put together. i will say, sometimes it is hard to snap the legs into place, so if you have hand/joint issues you might need some help putting them together. usually, a lot of these toys might be the same model but repainted, and sometimes there’s duplicates. the two mantises in my photo are from a set of 6, and there were 3 sets of 2 identical boys, so I could display one with the wings out and another one folded. they’ll also sometimes come with a little piece of clear plastic and a stand you can pose them on top of.
just from the sheer variety they offer, and relative affordability, this would probably be my first recommendation for getting into bug toys. they have beetles, mantids, caterpillars, wasps, ispods, crabs... i’d love some myriapod sets but we’ll see!
i usually grab these guys off ebay. they’re also available on Buyee and there may be more, cheaper options over there, but I’ve noticed with the import/holding fees, buyee and ebay come out to be about the same most of the time. (for anyone confused, Buyee is an English import service that lets you buy stuff off Japanese sites and auctions, since a lot of Japanese sites only want to ship inside Japan)
these are also just the gachapon bug toys from one specific company. there’s OTHER companies making other sets of really good bugs but I’ve had so much luck with just this one term I haven’t branched out much yet.
Fujimi Living Thing Arc
these are slightly bigger models made out of slightly harder plastic (well, the mantis is bigger; beetles are about the same as the ikimono guys) that are a bit more intricate to put together. they come with assembly instructions, but of course they’re in Japanese. you can pretty much follow along with the pictures though. the painting details aren’t quite as nice, but they have a bit more articulation. not as many choices with this set, though they do have a crawfish I wanna snag. they also have some goofy JP style monster dinos.
i bought these guys off hlj.com but it looks like they’re on ebay(and buyee as well I’m sure)
Revoltech RevoGeo
you’ll probably recognize this name if you’re into transformers or other toy collecting. these guys are gonna be by far the most expensive ($90-$120+) but they are extremely large and high quality. this one is super articulated, the individual leg joints and mandibles move, wings move, about the only thing that isn’t articulated are the individual little tarsomeres/feet segments or the abdomen segments. not as much choice here either, I think they have a beetle, ants, crab and a scorpion plus this wasp. these also come mostly assembled, you can usually just snap the wings on or maybe swap out a few parts (iirc this gal’s stinger can be removed)
i got her off bigbadtoystore.com, though they may be available cheaper elsewhere. BBTS is infamously a bit pricier than other toy stores but they’ve always been very reliable and quick for me.
this BIG isopod
this one won’t be as helpful. these may be part of the same series as the ikimono (they were just labeled bandai gachapon) but they are much larger, this guy’s like 5″, came fully assembled and is pretty articulated. they can even roll into a ball! all their little legs move! i’m pretty sure they’re meant to be one of the large deep sea isopods and man, a 1:1 revoltech model of one of those would be a dream.
completely fake bugs!
had to share my little starship trooper warrior bug collection :^) the big one and the one directly under it are 90s kenner toys I believe, the bottom-right one is a funko, the red one is from a tabletop set, and the guy on the left is a figma model that is unfortunately ridiculously expensive nowadays.
one nice thing about fake real bugs: there is not a crazy collectors market for this so this stuff should stay pretty affordable. unless real normal bugs somehow become a huge pop sensation i think it’s just us weird nerds that are into them.
other search terms to try: bandai insect insect gachapon (or gashapon) nature gachapon
that way you may be able to track down listings for individual toys that should be a bit cheaper! here’s a sample what bandai insect got me on ebay:
happy fake bug collecting!
you may noticed I haven’t mentioned one form of bug that has a lot of the same advantages as plastic bugs: dead pinned insects in shadowboxes. i do have some of these, but i am reluctant to support places selling them nowadays because few are ethically or responsibly sourced, and the same sellers often kill and sell endangered bats and other vertebrates for display. plus mites got into half the ones i had and turned them into dead bug dust. if mites ever develop a taste for plastic i will be sad about my collection but the world will be saved from a lot of nasty garbage so it would ultimately be a Plus.
so unless you personally know the person that pinned the insect, i would be very cautious about buying dead things from random online stores or dealers at ‘curiosity’ or ‘oddity’ shows and things like that, since it’s all sourced from alibaba and whatnot anyway. i swear i saw like 5 different people selling the same dead octopuses in orbs at the last curiosity show i went to. they are cool, but i have no idea where those octopuses came from and i doubt the people selling them did either.

may i humbly request a mon x literally anyone you feel like? i love any and all content featuring my space wife <3
so. i got mon/draven in my head, and now this became a 1k oneshot. also on ao3, actually also tagging @andorerso in this because i'm going to take the other option on your prompt, but here is a bonus of mon/draven 💕
Soon, the base on Yavin IV will have to be evacuated in its entirety. To where, no one knows; there hasn't been enough personnel to form teams that could scout locations or to analyze the data they would find. Even if there were, though, there's always the matter of time.
The matter of time, which is always against them.
Still, the sounds of celebration continue to pierce the walls and shake the floor under their feet. A victory, especially one this significant, merits it; it's come at a cost, greater than most will ever know, but it's still a victory, and everyone here has had a role to play in it. Everyone here has earned their right to celebrate.
Even if the Empire, of course, is still out there, lurking closer than ever, with a firm Alliance location fixed in their databases that they will return to before long (the matter, again, of time), Mon will leave everyone be — if only for one night.
She's made her requisite appearance and delivered her requisite words, has smiled at their remaining numbers and given the energy of inspiration like any competent leader should, but it'd all burned out the instant she'd turned away. Her heart, heavy since the council meeting (heavy for more years than she can count up to this point), had not found, and still does not find, itself buoyed by the mood; the cost is a mark that is not so easily wiped clean.
As she slips away, into the corridors, she thinks of Jyn Erso, the woman they'd failed in so many ways, but perhaps most egregiously at the end, who'll now never get to live to see the results of her conviction; she thinks of Captain Cassian Andor, their best and brightest, a man who, in the time that she's known him, has shown nothing but unwavering dedication to exactly what this cause requires, even if it'd taken pieces of him that he'll never have the opportunity to put back together. She thinks of everyone who had gone with them to Scarif, the souls brave enough to act, no matter what, even when their own council could not. She thinks of the pilots who had not touched down on the surface of Yavin IV — the majority of the number that had taken off.
The assault on the Death Star is a victory against a seemingly unbeatable enemy, but it's difficult to think of it as an unambiguous win, no matter how much the Luthens and others of their movement would deem that thought naive.
Still, that's war — and far from the chambers of the Galactic Senate, she knows that now, with unquestioning certainty.
So, too, does the man sitting behind a desk in the office that Mon has found herself stepping into.
She can't remember a time when General Davits Draven hasn't looked tired and haggard, but here, in the low light of the power-savers, he's wearing years of cumulatively acquired exhaustion everywhere on his face; the circles under his eyes have somehow become more pronounced even over the past few days, his skin more sunken, hollow. There are two glasses with Corellian brandy on his desk, one mostly full, with his fingers wrapped loosely around the base, and the other just slightly off to the side, completely untouched.
Most in the Alliance would think of him as hard and cold, the sort of man one would depend on to make quick calls and snap decisions that might toe the lines of morality — at least for those who, like her, had come from softer beginnings. But hard and cold when needed, able to put aside sentiment for the sake of the greater good, doesn't mean that the sentiment isn't there; he cares for the subordinates under his command, looks out for them as much as he is able, and even if he may be reluctant to show, under that exterior, he has a heart that aches.
He's taken these losses hard; that much is clear. Beyond that, Mon has to infer, but it's a good guess that he's taken the loss of Captain Andor, someone he'd personally mentored for years, the hardest of all.
It says a great deal that he allows her to brush her hand against his when she approaches the desk, that he allows her to linger there for a moment before she gently drags it away, taking the untouched glass instead. It says a great deal that she can see a flicker of emotion in his face, a twitch of his jaw, before he hides it behind the rim of his glass, swallowing down half of its contents in one gulp, and hardly so much as even clearing his throat once he does.
Mon doesn't quite follow suit, but she stays close, leaning against the edge of the desk, taking a few sips herself. It's, specifically, from the bottle she'd gifted him once, several years ago — apparently saved until now. One might call it a special occasion, a celebration, but of course she knows better.
This is no more a celebration than the face she'd put on before quietly exiting the festivities. It's a requiem.
One moment carved out of time that's always running against them, because it's one moment that's critical for the sake of maintaining their humanity.
The chrono flashes, changing on the wall, emphasizing just how much those seconds are ticking away, but Mon says nothing, occasionally glancing out of the corner of her eye, until she, eventually, drains the contents of her glass and sets it back down onto the surface of the desk with a gentle clink.
Until her voice finally finds her again; it's shaky, hesitant under a mask that few can be allowed to see past, for the sake of their movement's survival — especially at such a crucial moment. But here and only here, she asks, "What now?"
Draven sets his glass down as well. His back straightens in his chair, and his hollowed face fills with purpose.
"Now," he says. "We have a war to win."

The New Father (Wattpad | Ao3)
Canada and Britain the first time they are alone after Canada becomes a British colony, requested by @lost-islands
Bonus Scene from The Shot Heard Around the World
When Quebec arrived at Britain’s house, he was quick to be ushered away into an office as Britain’s existing colonies led the other newly acquired colonies away to different rooms.
“Britain?” Quebec asked cautiously, unsure of what was happening.
“Remember what I told you before?” Britain asked. Quebec nodded.
“That I was to be the best of your new colonies because I had a lot of British people living within my lands?” Quebec asked nervously, feeling like he was being tested.
“Very good. Well, I want to get into that more. I’m sure you know that we have had to remove people who do not sign an oath of loyalty to my empire. I do not tolerate disobedience, you see. But I know that this land might not all be yours and that in your land and against your will, there are people harboring sentiments of disloyalty to me.” Britain said. Quebec frowned.
“I promise I will not be dis—” Quebec began before he was cut off.
“Oh, I’m sure you won’t,” Britain said, sounding dismissive like he didn’t even care what Quebec was trying to say. Quebec didn’t like to make trouble, and despite his father’s and grandmother’s resentment of Britain, Quebec and the other colonies given up were told to be obedient because that was their role in society. Quebec knew many of his fellow former French would have trouble with that, but it was their role, and Quebec would try his best to fulfill that.
Britain reached into his desk and pulled out a piece of paper.
“This is an oath of loyalty. It is a document that you are required to sign. It is a…test of your loyalty, we shall say. It is also the document that, by law, will make you my child,” Britain said. Quebec startled at the last part. Britain wanted to replace his father, so soon after he had died?
“But my father just died today, surely—” Quebec began before Britain grabbed him by the throat and slammed him against the wall.
“Is that a declaration of unloyalty?” Britain asked, his voice sounding so kind as Quebec’s fingers scratched against Britain’s hands, trying to get some air back into his lungs, “Stop being overdramatic. Put your hands down and listen to me.”
Britain’s voice changed, becoming low and dangerous, and his grip on Quebec tightened. Quebec let out a strangled gasp and dropped his hands to the side, hoping the appeasement would calm Britain’s rage and free him.
“Very good, Quebec,” Britain said, his voice patronizing and full of false cheer as black spots began appearing in Quebec’s vision, the lack of air making him dizzy. “Now, answer me. Was that a sign that you don’t want to be loyal to me?”
Quebec shook his head, trying his best to force out a no. The words did not come easily, but eventually, he was able to force out a tiny, whispered no, and Britain released him. Quebec fell to the ground, gasping for air and relaxing as air made its way into his abused lungs.
“I’m sorry, Quebec. I didn’t want to do that to you, but like I said, I do not tolerate disloyalty, and it is better to teach the lesson once and make it stick than have to teach it repeatedly. I’m sure you understand,” Britain said, putting a gentle hand on Quebec's shoulder before helping the colony stand, leading him to the armchair in the corner of the room. Quebec collapsed into the chair, and Britain patted his shoulder.
“Do you need a minute to catch your breath? We don’t have to proceed until you’ve recovered,” Britain said, his voice sounding so painfully kind and understanding compared to the pain of his rage. Quebec knew then that he would have to do everything he could to keep this kindness, everything he could to avoid provoking that rage.
“No…we can continue,” Quebec said, the act of speaking making him feel out of breath.
“You don’t sound like you’re ready. We can wait a bit longer. Don’t feel like you have to rush yourself. Your health and safety is my top priority.” Britain said. Quebec gave him a confused look.
“But—”
“That was just punishment. It’s not common unless you are disloyal or choose to disobey me. As long as you’re a good colony, one that listens and obeys, you won’t have to deal with any of that again. Unless, of course, one colony is misbehaving so badly that it is better I punish the whole just to ensure no similar ideas come out. But I promise you, Quebec, that that is not something I want or like to do but rather something I do out of necessity and love.” Britain said, grabbing Quebec’s hand and squeezing it gently.
Quebec nodded, feeling conflicted. On one hand, his grandmother and father had never touched him like that. But on the other, Quebec had been a French colony since birth. Of course, he would not need to prove his loyalty to them in the same way Britain needed him to. Furthermore, Quebec was descended from Britain’s worst enemy. It made…it made sense why he would go that far.
“I’m…I apologize for my disobedience,” Quebec began as soon as his throat felt better, picking his words carefully to avoid inciting the empire’s temper any further. “My…my French father passed away today, and grief clouds my mind. I did not mean to offend you. I just do not want to forsake the man who raised me on the day of his death. I apologize.”
Quebec then bowed his head, waiting and willing to accept whatever punishment that would bring him. But he was surprised to hear Britain laugh as a hand was placed on his head.
“I’m not asking you to disown your father. I know his loss will be hard on you. What I’m asking is for you to acknowledge me as your father so my nobility and my leaders can be safely assured that you are a loyal colony and will not betray us for France. They get…somewhat unreasonable when it comes to French things, and I want to ensure that they will not advocate for your death or for you to be dissolved into another colony. This is less of a loyalty thing and more of a way to protect you,” Britain explained, putting a gentle hand on Quebec’s chin and forcing Quebec to look him in the eyes, “Do you understand?”
Quebec stared into his eyes, looking for any trace of deceit and finding none. Britain was telling the truth. It only served to make Quebec feel like a fool. Britain released his chin, and Quebec slowly dropped his head.
“Yes,” Quebec said, feeling better. That…that made sense. Britain’s extreme reaction was done out of love and necessity, just like he said. Quebec had just been dramatic and must have caused Britain to panic. Britain did say he was looking forward to having Quebec there the most and that Quebec had the most potential.
“Are you ready to sign it now?” Britain asked. Quebec nodded, standing up.
“I am,” he said, trying his best to sound confident. Britain nodded and pointed at the chair at the desk. Quebec quietly sat down in the chair, preparing to look over the oath of loyalty he was about to sign before Britain pushed a pen into his hand.
“Sign,” Britain commanded. Quebec opened his mouth, preparing to protest, before shutting it. He didn’t need to look it over. It was fine. Britain probably just wanted to get this over with since Quebec had already dragged it on long enough.
With a quick flourish, Quebec signed his name, both his old French one and his new British one, just to be safe. As soon as he finished, Britain took the paper away, placing it on the bookshelf above Quebec’s head as Quebec returned the pen.
“See, was that so hard?” Brit—Father asked as he began running a hand through Quebec’s hair.
“No,” Quebec said, feeling silly for having made such a big fuss about it when he had just planned to profess his loyalty from the beginning.
“No, what?” Father asked.
“No, Father,” Quebec said, cheeks turning red in embarrassment. He hated this. He hated being treated like a child. But…better to be treated like a child than to be punished. Father was probably just ensuring that Quebec got the hang of things as quickly as possible.
“Very good. Like I said, you’ll be the one to adapt to my household the fastest. You have all the traits of a good colony, Quebec. Once I am done purging your lands of the disloyal, I think you will be in a position where you will never need to be punished again.” Father said.
“Really?” Quebec asked, nervous. Father smiled.
“Really.”

✨Custom bionicle (again) !✨
Two more from my Ru-Fahi series !
Details and rambling below !
Jaller Ru-Fahi
…Because I couldn’t not include him. Realistically, all Toa Mahri a good to some extent, but this is peak Toa material right here. One of the first I acquired, one of the best looking ones, too. The base body is practically the same as the original, with some twists, but I mostly made him thicker and upgraded his sword, which is better with a guard and a proper handle. Well, that, and the Hannah, obviously. Sure, the original one was cute, but here me out :
Look at it, and behold ! It might be slightly bigger than the original, have only four legs, and need a larger chain (which I found just earlier in a box of misc Hero Factory pieces, and is better than a basic Lego chain), but doesn’t it look very cute and wholesome and dangerous ? Also, I gave it actual joints, because it deserves it, and removed the Kordak blaster because it didn’t need it anymore. I really love making arthropods with bionicle (I have more for later~).
Pohatu Ru-Fahi
Definitely looks awesome. The original is Pohatu Phantoka from the Rockoh T3 set (because I have one and a half of this set). It is the coolest version of Pohatu (because orange>brown, obviously). Lot of modifications on that one, from the custom jet pack to the arms and the legs. The arc pieces for the front arms are more or less of placeholders because I was niece a good piece to make the arms larger, but it turned out alright. The blades are also stolen from the half Rockoh, and the piece underneath, if anyone recognises it, is from Pohatu Nuva, because it’s a neat reference. And the tube is somehow remaining in the Kanohi, despot the fact that there is not any proper connection for it tand hold onto.
Also, can we talk about this leg ? If you ignore how incredibly illegal this whole piece is (ball joint stuck by the light grey part and small black and grey piece not completely connected to the rest), I think that’s the best shape I managed to get so far, and it reflects nicely what I have envisioned (Pohatu being able to run/jump easily because of the shape). And, it had the added advantage of fitting perfectly with the orange piece above when the knee bends.
Last but not least, I also have started a potential candidate for Toa of air, despite a lack of proper Kanohi, even with my extensive collection. My first candidate would have been Lewa Phantoka from the Axalara T9, but this one has a special place in my heart, so won’t be touching it and it will proudly remain in his shelf (along with the untouched Pohatu). So, maybe another of this series soon ! But probably not. And if I miss posting custom bionicle too much, I have a (complete) collection of entirely custom Toa, but I’m afraid they won’t fit in my studio (they’re big, too big).

A Daughter's Desire for the lovely SamcScreams
I have written this songfic piece for SamcScream's HER.
Please do check out her work, it is quite good stuff, with alot of creativity, especially her first post for HER, you'll find it on her blog.
The song I have used is 'For You' by Nightcore Fox, originally based on the perspective of FNAF's villain Vanny. Admittedly the song is fast paced at times, so that might make some of the stage directions difficult to read. Plus, the post's function's means that everything is off to the left side, instead of the song and its stage directions being centre stage.
Do please enjoy. :-)
A Daughter’s Desire.
Samantha Carpenter gripped her head strongly with both hands, as she laid back against the wall.
Night had come and she had taken enough sleeping pills to knock her back for six and beyond.
“Christ,” she muttered, sinking down onto her bed quilt, her eyelids felt like heavy weights.
If she fell into a sleep deep enough, then that should keep HER away and prevent her from seizing control. It would also mean no more ‘night outings’, no longer a need to find threats and shed blood to enforce the seal on HER’s mental prison.
The safe was locked, Tara had changed the number and had hidden it somewhere remote. A measure so HER wouldn’t be able to acquire her murder tools if she managed to take control, should the sleeping pills prove to be an inadequate barrier.
“Are you sure, that you want to sleep alone Sam tonight?” a quiet yet curious voice called out.
Sam’s weary eyes drifted over to see the small figure of Tara Carpenter in the doorway, gripping the doorway in her PJs as she cautiously leaned in.
With how she stood, Tara very much looked like her younger self. The fearful child nervously peering into their big sister’s bedroom before asking if she could seek her comfort due to having another nightmare.
“No Tara, not tonight, I want to make sure this works first, before letting you get too close, ok.”
Tara couldn’t quite hide her disappointment, despite maintaining her firm expression; Sam could always read her eyes.
“I’m sorry babygirl, but it is just for tonight, ok?” Sam replied softly, holding her hand out.
It took an immense mental effort to bring her arm up as the effects of the sleeping pills began to engulf her mind.
“You can give me a hu-”
Within barely two seconds Tara had practically leapt from the bedroom door to Sam’s bed and threw her arms around the elder Carpenter. Immediately Tara pulled Sam in close, resting her head on the latter’s shoulders, absorbing the latter’s warmth.
“I have Mindy, Chad and Danny all on speed dial, should the worst happen,” Tara whispered with shaky breath, Sam could feel her tremble as she slowly wrapped her own arms around Tara’s neck, cradling her.
“If you think it is her and not me, call them immediately.”
Tara fervently nodded.
“I will, at the first sign of trouble Sammy,” she replied determinedly; although she hoped she wouldn’t have to.
“Did you take the other necessary precautions?” Sam asked curiously, her tired eyes locking with those of Tara’s, seeing the deep concern that they held.
“I have, the keys for the front door are hidden, the windows are barred and any sharp knives or objects I had hidden away.” Tara answered firmly.
“I even blockaded my bedroom door as you insisted.”
She hugged Sam even tighter, wanting to make the moment last for as long it was possible.
“I love you, Sammy; I really hope this works,” Tara whispered, despite her voice being low, her desperation easily detectable.
“If so, then there need be no more murders,” Sam added reassuringly, gently stroking Tara’s brown hair, trailing her natural curls.
“I was only trying to help us.”
Tara moved her right hand to grasp Sam’s left, slowly interlocking Sam’s fingers with her own.
“I know,” Tara remarked softly.
“I know you were trying Sammy, but we promised to not keep anymore secrets.”
“We can take this on together.”
Sam sighed in agreement, leaning further into Tara’s embrace as her body’s call for sleep began to overwhelm her.
“You need to go now Tara, I’ll be ok as long as you are,” she stated, her determination mixed in with her evident sense of exhaustion.
Tara slowly withdrew from the hug, clearly not wanting it to end.
“Ok,” she replied cautiously, but her nervousness was evident.
“Remember our password, say it, when we next meet so I know that it’s you and not. . .her.”
Tara leaned in and kissed Sam deeply on her forehead.
“Sleep well Sammy.”
Sam reciprocated in kind, pulling Tara down and kissing her reassuringly on the check.
“You too babygirl.”
Then the contact was swiftly broken with Tara stepping away.
“See you tomorrow, Sammy, I have the. . .”
She visibly gulped, before continuing, her unease beyond evident.
“The taster on standby, fully charged, but. . .”
Tara hesitated before forcing herself to continue.
“I’ll only use it, if I have no other choice, ok Sammy?”
Sam nodded agreeingly, now barely to keep her head up.
The taser was necessary for Tara’s safety, Sam didn’t give a dam if the price for that safety was her being hurt.
“Thanks Tara, now. . .go. . .I am about to slip under.”
Tara hastily left, closing Sam’s bedroom door shut.
She managed to glance back at Sam, mumbling ‘love you’, before exiting.
Soon, there came the quick small footsteps from the hallway, quickly followed by the slamming shut of Tara’s bedroom door and the sound of stuff being moved around.
Then there was silence, bar the occasional hum of traffic from the world outside, but Sam could easily ignore it as her eyelids finally closed and she gave into sleep.
“Now, let’s see if this keeps you locked in your cage,” she muttered, feeling herself slip into unconsciousness.
She barely registered a sudden rush of excitement before sleep took hold of her fully.
One hour later. . .
Sam’s fingers twitched, the frequency increasing by the second as she raised her head up off her pillow.
Sighing as she rose, pushing herself upright and pushing her hair back from her eyes.
Sam’s eyes opened to be greeted by utter darkness. Her brown pupils widened in her body instinctive reaction to take in as much light as possible to improve her night vision.
It took a minute or two, but steadily the outlines of her own room began to stand out to her.
A relieved sigh passed through her lips as she breathed in and out, feeling her chest rise and fall.
“I’ve got to hand it to you Sammy, you really did try to keep me underwraps. . .oh, no wait, this really was Tara’s idea, if I am being honest,” she whispered with mid-level scorn, whilst sounding genuine impression.
Sam. . .no. . .Her, looked over towards her closed bedroom door, spying its board outline in the surrounding darkness.
She was Sam, but wasn’t at the same time, yet she looked identical to her, almost.
It was in her eyes that the difference lay, the coldness, detached, sinister and sadistic.
A cold fire burned in her pupils, unforgiving and uncaring, but it was distinctly Loomis.
In truth, it was Sam’s feelings and her expressions, but as more and more time passed, such things belonged to HER more than they did to Sam.
“Tara, you little devil, so desperate to keep Sam with you, even if it is a major risk to your own safety,” she muttered mockingly.
“Sam really does care; you should heed her warnings more often. . .babygirl.”
HER was smart enough to piece things together, she had her ways to understand Sam and Tara. It was like fitting pieces to a puzzle with each new grain of information she gained from her observations.
A magician never reveals their tricks though, sometimes it was good to have secrets.
“As long as your creativity is pointed in the wrong direction, I don’t personally mind Tara,” HER whispered, slowly approaching her bedroom door.
“It is rather entraining actually, I like this game, but I am going to win,” she remarked confidentially, gently pulling the door open.
She knew that Tara’s bedroom was directly oppose hers, with its door firmly closed shut.
Quickly crossing over, HER started intensely at the door. It was like the gate to the sacred castle, but there was unfortunately no key to gain entry.
Hiding inside lay the one person who was keeping Sam tethered, that was no secret, given how close both Sam and Tara were, everyone could see it.
Without eachother they would struggle. . .or worse.
Her smiled in anticipation, smirking from ear to ear as she pressed one of her hands against the door. Despite Tara most likely being asleep, HER knew to be extra careful lest she raised the younger Carpenter’s suspicions. She carefully rested her head against the door, as though she desired to phase through its wooden frame and find the prey hiding within.
“Are you having fun yet Tara?” she barely whispered, in genuine wonderment, but she didn’t hide the malicious coldness in her voice.
“I hope you are sweetie, but unfortunately this game has to end and only one of us will be walking away from it alive.”
HER grinned as she traced the lines of the door’s wooden frame with her fingers, imagining them to be bloody lines craved on human skin by a sharp knife.
“Survival of the ruthless, wouldn’t you agree dad?”
No answer came from either inside her mind, or from her surroundings. There was no visible reflection to see those eyes which HER knew or hoped would be looking at her with sincere pride and admiration.
Nothing. . .but a cold and empty silence greeted her.
“Why can’t you hear me, am I not making you proud?” Her whispered, allowing her smile to fall and she felt crestfallen for a moment.
Before her determination rose up and swallowed her disappointment whole like a blackhole consuming a vibrant star.
“You will hear me daddy, for I am your little monster,” HER muttered lowly, grinning again, before turning away and heading out to the kitchen.
True to both Tara’s and Sam’s determination, they had locked down the entire flat as good as they could manage.
HER was effectively locked in until the morning, at which point Sam would regain control upon waking up.
Well. . .she would be locked in, but she had a creative mind and truly loved a challenge.
Laughing internally, with folded arms and a big smile on her face; HER stared at one of the flat’s windows.
“Well, it would be a waste of a night out, if I couldn’t take advantage of it,” she muttered with great anticipation, keeping her voice low.
HER reflexed her hands, stretching her fingers and feeling the ligaments crack.
“But this locked in room challenge is certainly an interesting start. . .”
When her right hand touched her trouser leg, the strangely soft fabric caused her to instinctively look down and she only now realised that she was wearing Sam’s PJs.
Ok, first things first, a quick costume change. . .then she could work out a way to free herself from her makeshift imprisonment.
A short while later. . .
Landing firmly on her own two feet, HER centred her balance in the alleyway she found herself in after scaling down the walls of the Carpenters’ flat via the fire escape.
The air felt dry, and it was a moonlit night; good, but when she was on the hunt, she needed to stick to the shadows.
Darkness was her natural companion. . .
Easily ignoring the noise from the nearby streets upon which the night life of New York flowed like blood coursing through the arteries and veins of the human body. Her mind was focused on one place and one place only.
Swiftly moving forward with purpose in her stride, HER eyed the exit of the alleyway, knowing from Sam the way to her destination.
The old, abandoned theatre and its blood-stained treasures. . .
(Begin the song now).
We see HER steadily walking through rows of Ghostface memorabilia.
She can feel the agony in the air, smell the old blood from the aged items and faintly hear the cries of the dammed.
She sways as she moves, drawing ever nearer to the Ghostface stands.
Her predecessors, those who with their knifes craved out the bloody path for her to follow.
And she would lay the final stone in cementing the Loomis Legacy.
“Now I can feel it coming.”
HER smiles with great anticipation.
“The symphony of voices in your head.”
She feels the crowning moment is upon her.
“The time has come for you to shine.”
She approaches the Ghostface stands.
“Be ready. . .”
The Carpenters won’t see her approaching.
“Something terrible is coming. . .for you.”
She swears she can hear Billy’s commands in her head.
“Time is of the essence.”
Such a golden opportunity.
“Do not let me down.”
Never father. “So many people in one place.”
The hunting ground.
“It’s time for us to make a presence!”
HER takes various clothes from several Ghostfaces.
“Time is of the essence.”
The clock is ticking.
“I won’t let you down.”
A daughter’s promise.
“So many people in one place.”
A wolf among sheep. “Oblivious, just like you say.”
HER turns to see her reflection in one of the stands.
“So just trust me this one time.”
As though she is seeing Sam herself.
“I know you won't regret it.”
HER gestures to herself.
“I know you are sick, but so am I.”
HER holds her hand out to the reflection.
“And I will be there for you, through time as it tick, tick, tick, ticks!”
HER turns to face the stand of Billy Loomis.
She smiles playfully as she moves towards it.
“And I will be there for you, through time as it tick, tick, tick, ticks!”
Her reflection flows over the stands of the now half dressed Ghostface statues.
HER narrows her eyes as her shadows fall overs Billy’s statue.
“And I will be there for you. . .”
She tenderly places her hand against the glass cover.
“My darling, I know that there's certain things that you should know.”
She knows everything and is unashamed.
“I know this comes with a price that I'm willing to pay.”
She pulls the glass case open.
“Be ready. . .”
The infamous facemask stares back at her.
“Something terrible is coming. . .”
She viciously grabs the statue, pulling it towards her.
“Everything I've worked for and everything I do!”
Venting her inner frustration.
“You know that there's a reason that I do these things for you!”
Power “I do it for the thrill!”
Bloodlust
“I do it for the fun!”
Manipulation
“You've taught me there's a twisted usefulness in everyone!”
She then kneels before the statue.
“Let me prove my point!”
“It will not disappoint!”
“Just give me the word!”
“I am ready, I am poised!”
Like a devoted worshiper. “Isn't this what a true friend would do?”
Honouring their god. “I promised I would be there for you!”
She reaches up and grabs the facemask, pulling it away, along with Billy’s infamous knife.
Before swiftly making her exit.
“And I will be there for you, through time.”
She skips playfully down the aisles.
“And I will be there, and I will be.”
The theatre’s exit is in her mind’s eye.
“And I will be there for you.”
Once outside, HER stares longingly at the facemask.
She laughs, feeling euphoric, the bloodlust surges through her soul, she willingly drowns in it.
She jerks her head up at the sound of New York’s nightlife from beyond the alleyway.
HER smiles sinisterly, putting the mask on before swaying mischievously towards the alley’s exit, humming as she does.
“La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la.”
Steadily she disappears into the night like a ghostly predator, ready for the hunt
I hoped that you enjoyed it, this was lot of fun to create and a massive thanks to SamcScreams for letting me use her work for this creative musical piece.

Headspace is a tool systems can use to make their life easier. Other common names include “mind palace” and “happy place”. Anyone can create and use a headspace, though the characteristics of one’s consciousness affect how they function. It is a very useful tool, but certainly not something everyone can use, use easily, or gain much from. There are three primary reasons a system might develop or create a headspace: self-soothing, efficient problem solving & thinking, and/or communication. Especially for complex systems of consciousness, headspace offers a place to more easily conceptualize and handle complicated strings of information, for the body to communicate its needs to you more easily, and for communicating with all of the consciousness with efficiency and coherency. A headspace can be made instinctively or consciously. Whenever we acquire new information, our brain gains new data that it can add to its storage. This storage of data is used to reference ideas on what to do in a given situation, offer the tools necessary to imagine, or “create” new information when sufficient data and the relevant skills are built. By taking pieces of memory apart for it's information and joining it to other information in new arrangements, we create new answers to problems, and new ideas.
This ability is often referred to as creativity. Creativity is produced by the imagination engine. Such phenomena as the ability to imagine what licking a surface you’ve never licked before feels like, or how slam dunking your boss when you never have might go—these are examples of this function in action. It’s important to note that creativity is used subconsciously significantly more frequently than it is used consciously. Headspace runs on the imagination engine. The imagination engine is a system of the functions sets of thinking (storing, moving, processing, organizing, applying information) and discerning (comparing, manipulating, re-arranging information), integrated in to use with the processes of creating or problem solving. For many systems, being able to decipher what the headspace is telling them about their health and status is an integral part of regaining touch with their body, healing, and integrating their system in to smooth communication and stability.
System integration guidance: Introduction to utilizing headspace.

Session 47
Session doc
Whole folder
*Obligatory spoiler warning for Curse of Strahd*
Heard it Through The Grapevine
We kick session off with a good ole grift. The rest of the party works on distracting Lief while Bedlam tries his newly acquired key on the chests in the room. Successfully, he pops each one open and finds varying amounts of money and a manual of bodily health. Bedlam grabbed a handful of the coins, but left the manual out of respect for Lief. After more conversation, the accountant was happy to draw a map to a piece of treasure that has been lost to time. It was an extremely crude map, like it only showed the route from the castle to the treasure and provided no labels or landmarks. Okrin had the great idea to lay it over the map that they have and sure enough, it appears to lead to an area just outside of Berez. An area that Bedlam already suspected held something important. They bid their farewells to Lief and proceed to their points of interest.
They first wanted to check out the Parapets and Archery posts, where Sasha was said to have been seen being suspicious. After a thorough investigation of the area, they find a hand mirror. They cast Identify on it and find out it’s a magic mirror used for communication, as well as the activation word. They take the mirror for a spin and the face of Fiona Wachter appears in the reflection. They were careful to face the mirror away from themselves and disguised their voices. After some questions and a little deception, they find out that Fiona is the new Bugomistress of Ziedenburg and she is helping Sasha quarter her army of undead in exchange for sensitive information regarding Strahd and the castle and such. They were pleased with what they found and pretty eager to get out of that conversation so it wasn’t long before they were heading off to the next location.
As they head toward the courtyard, they notice a group of commoners with torches and pitchforks, cowering in the hallway. The party stops and gets their attention, asking them what they might be doing here. The three villagers explain that they stormed the castle in an effort to kill the vampire. This prompted lots of laughing in and out of game.
Okrin scoffs, “What level are you guys? Yeah, that’s what I thought.”
The party kindly explains that the villagers probably only made it this far because Strahd let them, and that its very dangerous here and they should go back home. The villagers were insistent that they could handle it, so the party tells them: “Look, if you can’t beat us, you won’t be able to beat Strahd.” so they engage in a fisticuffs.
Needless to say, the party EASILY took out the three commoners. Okrin was able to disarm one by taking his pitchfork and then pushed him down to the ground. Jander grappled one while Vondal brought on the hurt. The third was no match for Bedlam and Veledrel. All the damage was nonlethal, and the commoners were healed up by Ireena, Vel, and Okrin after the scrap. The villagers asked Ireena if she’d like to come with them back to the village. She politely declined, explaining that she felt much safer with the party. They parted ways after the villagers insisted that they knew the way out, though the party was skeptical.
They eventually find their way to the more familiar ground floor of the castle and make their way out into the courtyard. As they very casually stroll around, their notice someone messing with one of the stones in the wall. The party descends on the gentleman with no mercy. Two of them begin interrogating him and the others begin investigating the area around. They find a loose stone, and behind it a crumpled piece of paper containing an incriminating message written by Ludmilla. After asking many a pointed question, the man buckles and explains he’s just a messenger. He tells the party that Kiril and Emil had a disagreement over the way the werewolf pack should be run, which caused a schism. Kiril now does whatever Ludmilla wants because she removed Emil from the situation, which allowed Kiril to become the leader of the werewolf den. In return, Kiril will bring potential new brides for Srtrahd, the most recent one being Gertruda, and Ludmilla was pretty unhappy with. The party was very pleased with the juicy goss that they had just received, they brushed off their new acquaintance, told him to keep his nose clean and to be on his way.
They made their way over to the carriagehouse to check out the lead they had on Volenta. The coast was clear, so their investigation began. They were displeased with the lack of horses here and were surprised to find that the carriage house really just houses the carriage. It's not a stable you guys. However, their digging around revealed an empty hidey hole. After talking and marveling for a bit, they noticed a cat creeping along the windowsill, and even stranger, this cat appeared to have a folded piece of paper in its mouth. The cat noticed the party staring at it, and then made a mad dash for safety. The cat was fast, but the party was faster. A skill challenge ensued where the cat was nabbed and the note was secured after some Entangling and Animal Handling. They find out that someone has been asking Volenta to give them scrying material. The party takes a moment to admire all the irons in the fire and move on to the garden.
They thought it would be easy to get to the garden from here, but they were wrong. They called for Helga, who took them through the castling ever-winding halls and brought them out to the gardens. They investigate and look around and find a few spots under some dead brush where it looks like a dog dug up the dirt in several spots. Jander explains to the party that he would send wolves to Escher with letters and poems, through which Escher would give him all the information he needed to create his evidence board that he burned before leaving with the party to the winery. Wow, what a throwback.
I explain to the table out of game that this would be another way for them to meet up with Jander, but since they absorbed him into the group when they did, he did not continue his conversations with Escher, so if they want evidence, Jander can give them some of the poems from their conversations, but as of right now, there is nothing to find in this area, because technically they already found it. They all thought that was pretty cool and liked seeing how their actions can affect the story.
With that behind them, they decide to go check the last location. They make their way back up to their room and climb out the window and very carefully make their way to a more flat part of the roof. Everyone was able to make it safely across without slipping and falling to their death, though a few of the shingles were not so lucky. They make it to a landing of sorts and get to snooping. Their search yields them a letter written in gibberish. An arcana check tells them that there is a presence of Illusion magic on this paper, and an Identify tells them its Illusory Script. Bedlam casts dispel magic on the note, catching a glimpse of the original text before the words fade altogether. The bit they happened to catch though was thanking Anastrasya for her contribution of literature and was asking for a pendant. The group pieced together that Anastrasya must have been the one to get the book out of the castle, and they must be asking for the Holy Symbol.
We decided to end the session there, it was a lot of information and I wanted to give my players some time to mull it all over together.

Enhance Your Online Presence: Choose the Best SEO Company in Noida
In today’s competitive digital landscape, it is essential to have strong online presence to survive and succeed in the industry. Search engine optimisation (SEO) is key to improving your visibility and staying ahead of the competition. It is the process of optimising your website, content, and other online elements so that search engines can easily find and rank your site. It helps in enhancing both the quantity and quality of search engine traffic to a website or web page. It prioritises natural results over direct or sponsored traffic. However, SEO can be a complex and time-consuming process, and it’s best left to the experts. If you are looking for SEO services in Noida and don’t know how to find the best service providers, the following tips may help you in choosing the best SEO company in Noida:
Choose A Full-Service Provider
When you are looking for an SEO company in Noida, it will always be beneficial to choose a company that offers a comprehensive range of SEO services, including keyword research, website optimisation, content optimisation, link building, and more. In this way, you are able to get the best deals on the comprehensive digital marketing services.
Know Their Reputation In The Industry
It is important not to choose a firm entirely based on pricing as it can have a negative impact on your internet reputation. It will squander your money, time, and efforts. Sometimes companies fail to deliver on their promises, and you may despise yourself for not doing enough research. This is why it is critical to conduct research and learn about industry reputation, types of SEO services in India, the time they will devote, and other such things to make an informed choice.
Avoid Companies Making Unrealistic Promises
Search Engine optimisation is a digital marketing method that might assist you in acquiring more customers. It is not magic, and it requires constant efforts to attain long-term results. If you find a company making impossible claims such as "we are the best SEO Company in the world" or we can attain results within a month, do not trust them.
Make A List Of The Potential Service Providers
It is always good to speak to at least five to six potential service providers before making a final decision. One should create a list of at least 5–6 companies after reading the reviews. Once you have found the best five or six companies, examine their case studies, client’s feedback, and previous projects before speaking with them. Do not be afraid to inquire about the company among your immediate network.
Determine Your Objectives Before Looking For A Company
Before you begin looking for an SEO service provider, it is advised to write down your objectives on a piece of paper. You should be aware of your company's reputation and the kinds of products it offers. Observe and select a business that makes sense. While investigating, pay attention to how team members speak and respond to your needs. Examine how they present their offerings, try to learn about your company, and make connections. Check to see if they are speaking clearly. It is important to evaluate the quality of their work and words before making a final decision.
Visit The SEO Company
If you are not satisfied with the online research, visit the company and talk to them. Get answers to your questions, and if you are satisfied, lock in the contract with that company. It is important to get answers for all the questions in your mind and make sure that you are connecting with the right people. As it is not simply a transaction but a long-term relationship, you must ensure that you are interacting with the correct people Presently, the organic search helps to drive almost 50% of web traffic, which is more than sponsored and social combined. An SEO effective strategy can assist you in obtaining organic traffic and can be a game changer for your business.

Where Can I Buy Recipes In Genshin Impact
Hey everyone! If you're playing Genshin Impact and need some inspiration for cooking up a delicious meal, then you've come to the right place. In this article, I'm going to tell you exactly where to find recipes in-game so that your culinary creations can take center stage. Cooking is an important part of Genshin Impact - it's not just about eating great food but also gathering ingredients, combining them together and making something incredible out of nothing. But with so many different recipes available in-game, it can be hard to know where to begin. That's why I'm here to break down all the places you can go to get your hands on new and exciting recipes! Recipe Books I've been playing Genshin Impact for a while now, and I love it. One thing I'm always looking to do when I play is find recipes that can help me with my cooking needs. So far, I haven't had the best luck recipe hunting in-game, but I know there are plenty of other places to look. One great place to start your search for recipes is by gathering them from fellow players online. There are tons of helpful communities out there where people discuss all sorts of topics related to Genshin Impact, including sharing their favorite recipes. From these conversations, you'll be able to learn about new dishes or even get tips on how to make certain ingredients more easily available in the game world. If you're not up for interacting with others online, you could also try buying pre-made recipes from specialty stores within Genshin Impact itself. This way, you won't have to worry about trying to figure out what goes into each dish – all the work has already been done for you! Plus, once purchased, these recipes will stay yours forever so you don't have to keep spending money every time you want a different meal from the same store. No matter which route you take when searching for recipes in Genshin Impact – whether through online discussion or specialty shops – one thing's for sure: You're sure to end up with some delicious meals! Adventurers' Guild I'm sure you're wondering where to purchase recipes in Genshin Impact. Well, the best place for that would be the Adventurers' Guild! They offer a range of services and quest rewards that can help get your hands on some delicious recipes. You can access the guild by talking to either Paimon or Katheryne at their respective locations. The quests they give out reward various items and currency, including Mora – which is essential if you want to buy recipes from other characters. The merchants often have special deals when it comes to buying recipes, so make sure to check back regularly! Additionally, there are also certain events throughout the year that will grant bonus rewards such as cookbooks and recipe pieces – so keep an eye out for those too. So if you’re looking for some tasty food-related items in Genshin Impact, then head over to the Adventurers' Guild! There's no better place to find what you need and maybe even discover something new along the way. Npc Shops I'm a big fan of Genshin Impact, so I know the game has some great recipes! But where can you find them? Well, one of the best places to look is at NPC shops. Special merchants will offer various ingredients and dishes for sale that you wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. You may also have luck with participating in cooking contests - these events are held sporadically throughout Teyvat and often give out recipes as prizes. Another way to get your hands on more recipes is by completing daily commissions or opening chests scattered around the map. These activities reward players with all kinds of goodies including new recipes and materials used in crafting food items. Additionally, if there's something specific that you're looking for, talking to certain NPCs might provide helpful clues about how to acquire it. So whether you're hunting down rare ingredients or trying to master a difficult dish, there are plenty of options available for those who seek out recipes within Genshin Impact. With patience and dedication, finding what you need won't be too hard! Special Events In addition to NPC Shops, Genshin Impact also offers special events which can provide players with recipes. During these events, players have the chance to obtain a variety of recipes that require special ingredients and cooking techniques. For example, during the “A Dish Beyond Compare” event, participants could purchase various dishes from Xiao Le and earn rewards like recipe books for their culinary efforts. These recipe books contain unique recipes that are not available anywhere else in-game and feature some of the best dishes Genshin Impact has to offer. Apart from simply purchasing recipes during special events, players can also take part in certain challenges where they will be rewarded with different types of resources or items related to cooking if they succeed. This is a great way for players looking to spice up their meals while exploring Teyvat! Additionally, there are plenty of NPCs who can give out quests providing all sorts of rewards such as rare materials, cookbooks and even new recipes after completion. All in all, Genshin Impact provides many ways to acquire new recipes through both its regular shops as well as its occasional events and questing activities. With all these options at your disposal you’re sure to become an expert chef in no time! Recipe Drops I'm sure if you're a fan of Genshin Impact, you've been looking for ways to acquire recipes. The good news is that there are several options available! One way to get recipes is by foraging at various spots around the world. You'll find common ingredients scattered about and some rare ones as well. You can also pick up recipe drops from defeated monsters and bosses in Teyvat. World bosses like Fatui Electro Cicin Mage or Stormterror will often drop recipes when they're defeated. If all else fails, you can purchase recipes from certain NPCs throughout Teyvat. This involves trading them materials such as ore or mora for specific recipes depending on who you talk to. If you don't want to spend too much money, this might be the best option since it requires only resources rather than monetary currency. However, keep in mind that not every NPC sells recipes so make sure to check with each one before giving up hope! Finally, the last place where you could potentially obtain a recipe is through events which happen periodically within Genshin Impact's online platform. These events usually involve completing tasks or puzzles related to lore or knowledge and rewarding players with special items like cooking dishes or even new characters! So if ever these opportunities arise, take advantage of them and hopefully snag yourself some tasty treats for your culinary adventures!
