I'm really glad you've seen Starstruck, because it means you have the context for this. Every disastrous decision made this episode, were THOSE the stupidest things these people have ever done? I thought 'my farts smell awesome' was the lowest they could go, but look at that, they collectively found another layer beneath that. This has to be the biggest L the Intrepid Heroes ever took. Outside of a TPK, losing a Mcguffin is as rough as it gets. The RNG giveth and the RNG taketh away.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
OK, now that I have that out of the way, holy hell that last episode took a full year off my lifespan I think. Murph saying that it was like Fabian's Bad Day on a loop was right. I've never watched an episode of a ttrpg and thought, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" so consistently. Even after watching the Adventuring Party I'm not 100% confident I understand what some of those moves were about. I am going to try and break down by thoughts on each interaction, roughly in order from least to most baffling to me.
*Red and the Beast*
If this was as crazy as things went, it would have been a pretty normal episode. I fully understand why Ylfa would want to talk to the Beast being a monstruous princess and all. And Emily's side-motivation of wanting to maybe get some potions that would help them travel without freezing to death made sense as well. Sure it was a little awkward, but in the way that all pre-teens are sort of awkward around people who they think are cool. She didn't spill any serious beans or burn any serious bridges. This one gets a pass from me.Â
*Ger and Elody*
It probably feels like I'm ranking this pretty low. And I am if we're talking in pure terms of cause and effect. Because loudly and weirdly spilling the beans the way that he did was a TERRIBLE move tactically and DEF alerted the princesses to their plan. BUT I wasn't CONFUSED about why it happened. Ger had a thing to do that made sense--find out if his wife was in on the erase everything plan and fill her in if not/try to convince her to switch sides if so. He had a reason to get frustrated and do something stupid. This was, in my eyes, a good plan that went poorly because of bad dice rolls and Murph's commitment to character. So while it was VERY unfortunate, I'm not actually confused about why the desperate frog man who is known for being awkward was weird and awkward to his wife in a dire situation so it didn't really frustrate me in the same way that some of the other scenes did. We also got one of one only pieces of new information in this episode--that it doesn't seem like Elody is in on the plan (though with his trash Insight rolls, who even knows). I wish he'd taken Roz with him to back up his story right away (and give him advantage of dice rolls). I also wish he'd brought Roz with him so she wasn't able to do her own solo mission. Speaking of...
*Roz and Snow*
This is not a conversation that needed to happen tactically. I was like, why is this going on? Just because everyone is having a little chat doesn't mean you have to have a little chat too. I will admit that by the time I got here, I was feeling so much second hand cringe that I missed a bit of the conversation. But I do know that Roz told Snow that she told the entire group about their chat and that they were fine with it. WHY TELL HER THAT??? The plan was clearly told to Roz with the understanding that it was for her ears only. Why immediately be like, "So I talked it over with the squad..." You're showing your hand! You're telling Snow you're not really aligned with the Daughter's of the Crown. If you were going to talk to Snow, why not try to figure out what the actual plans are wrt the erase the world endgame? They really don't know anything about the specifics of the plan. Just some nebulous talk about spilling ink. Why is no one asking questions about this? How are they supposed to stop a plan they don't understand? Anyway, I think this conversation didn't need to happen and while it wasn't as disastrous in effect as Ger's convo, his had a good reason for happening while I don't think this one did which is why it frustrated me more.Â
*Pinnochio and Cindy*
OK so this one frustrated me a TON because it had so much potential for getting information and moving the story forward but that's not what happened at all! As a sidenote, I was surprised but excited when they showed up at the castle and the Snow Queen fight was already over offscreen because I was like, "Man! We're going to get so much good information next episode!" Haha, nope! This conversation started off really strong with Pinnochio saying that they're kinda step-sibs which I thought was a great opener and something I hadn't really considered. I thought he was going to maybe bring up how the stepmother's goal seems to be fucking with stories (in a similar way to what they want) and seeing how she reacts. Or maybe following the thread about how she ALSO feels like she doesn't have agency in her story because she's a puppet of a narrative without even a name. And I don't want to assume but seems like Brennan was giving him the opening to go there like when Cindy was talking about "her own story" and Pinnochio was like, "She doesn't have one" Cindy seemed willing to talk down that thread but it was dropped really quickly. And this whole conversation had such a dissonant vibe where it was like Cindy was in Crown of Candy and Pinnochio was in Fantasy High or even Starstruck in terms of seriousness. Which, from a comedy standpoint, was extremely funny but from a narrative standpoint was like, Pinnochio...I'm begging you...please...ask her one direct question. Lou said he was playing up Pinnochio's childishness because he's a child in a weird situation which, sure I guess. But man. It was a very funny scene but not very narratively fulfilling.
*Pib and Cindy and a Window*
Pib readying the horses? The most competent move of the session! Pib unilaterally deciding to try to push her into her book? Why???? Like, OK. I wouldn't have told her about the book if I was Pinnochio--at least not without consulting the group. BUT once the proverbial cat was out of the book, why not let her have it? It might give her some perspective she doesn't already have and you might be able to sway her into being an ally. I feel like Cindy and Snow while true believers in the plan, aren't beyond reason. They don't strike me as gung ho about the entire situation. They give me the energy of people who are exhausted and on their last resort. I honestly feel like there is a world where this is all salvageable if they'd let her have her book without going full hostile. Maybe it's not the most LIKELY option. But I think there was a chance. But nope. Initiative. Even if they'd gotten her in, what's the next move? You're in a palace full of her allies and none of you have rolled more than a ten all session! Were you going to hold her hostage and run? Like, bruh. If they wanted to leave, they should have just left! Why did they make a whole production about it? I swear, they stayed in the castle the exact worse length of time. Not long enough to get any info, but too long to leave gracefully. Anyway, I thought this was a wild decision to just make.Â
*Princess Interlude*
This isn't a part of the breakdown. This is just something I wanted to talk about. We really don't know how much the princesses know about The Situation and that's a big piece of the puzzle for us to know how BAD of a plan this is with the info they have. Because one of the few things we learned this episode is that Cinderella is surprised that the Stepmother doesn't have her own book. If they think that each person has their own book and they can write themselves out of existence without it affecting anyone else then this is actually a suicide pact and not a murder-suicide pact which still isn't GREAT but it's not WORLD ENDING which is decidedly less selfish. I still think it's an insane thing to try without having a full understanding of their world but if you're only playing with your OWN lives, then that's your right.Â
And wrt to the PCs, since they were spilling the beans left and right, why not be like, cool. Ink spilling. Great plan. Now what about the Auroratory? Because their stories don't just exist in ink. They're oral tradition, baby. I'm sorry you don't like your lives but ink spilling isn't going to solve everything.Â
Finally, I need to go back to past episodes where the princesses are lamenting to be sure, but I'm honestly not 100% sure what it is they're so distressed about. There is an element of fighting for free will but I'm not sure what it is they think they don't have control over. Because surely if they had no free will, they wouldn't be able to fight their stories at all, right? And if it's just that they're stuck with all their memories from all their lives, Witches do that all the time, right? Can they just not handle the Everything, Everywhere, All At Once lifestyle because they're not inherently magical and they're cracking under the pressure? From what I remember from the previous episode, it sounded like Cindy and Snow were distressed over the *existence* of dark versions of their story which is why they wanted to destroy everything completely. But also, isn't darkness just a thing you have to accept if you're going to have free will? And also, I don't know that it makes sense to destroy the entire world just because there are timelines where bad things happen (especially when the worst things don't even happen to them). Who awakened these princesses in the first place? Based on the introductions, we're led to believe it's Cindy and Snow who were the first ones, but now that we've met Rapunzel, I have my doubts. And speaking of her, back to the list.
*Tim and Raps*
Tim what were you THINKING?????????
God, where to begin. Ally said they weren't sure if Raps was in on it or not two APs in a row which is baffling to me because I thought Brennan telegraphed it pretty hard that Raps was both very clever and very fake. We first hear about her trying to deceive the Baba Yaga (one of the SCARIEST NPCs who even DEATH doesn't fuck with) and getting away with her tongue intact. Then, on a really high insight check, the party learns nothing about her, except that she's so shiny you can't really read her. Suspicious as hell. THEN, we learn that she has hair that's everywhere that can potentially be used to spy on people. And when she describes murdering the Snow Queen, she says it in the most politician-y, obfuscate-y, side-stepping culpability way possible. YEAH. I THINK SHE'S IN ON IT. I am floored that it wasn't obvious that she was full team nuke everything. The twist to me would be if she was secretly GOOD. I was wondering if the was the actual mastermind, I didn't even realize we were discussing whether she was IN ON IT.
But like, OK. That aside. Whether you are going in thinking she's good and misled or fully in on it, THIS WAS AN INSANE WAY TO HANDLE IT.
DIRT IN THE SHORTBREAD???? TIM!!!!!!
If she's GOOD and just awkward from how she was socialized you're being weird and aggro to her.Â
If she'd BAD and being manipulative you're being super clumsy and antagonizing her.Â
AND THEN SHE STOLE THE BOOOK!!!!!!!
My heart SUNK when Brennan revealed that. Like, GOD I didn't think that could have gotten worse and then it did.Â
And it's made worse because this is 100% a conversation that didn't need to happen. If I walked in and Raps was there, at most I would ask her about how her hair worked so we maybe knew for tactical reasons. That's not a crazy question to ask a person with magic hair that's everywhere so she wouldn't necessarily have a reason to be suspicious. And then guess what? I'm GONE. Just, based on second hand embarrassment and mechanical effect (LOSING THE BOOK), this is by far the worst conversation all episode and that's saying something.
(Also, RIP Mira who's going to wake up to a VERY different situation than when she went to sleep.)
The last thing I want to say about this episode is I kind wish that either Roz or Ger or both had died in their rescue plan. Not as a punishment mind you. While it was a tactically bad move, I think it's totally in character that Ger would have tried to go back for his wife and that one of his friends would have joined him. But we haven't had that many deaths this season and I feel like some more death exposition might give us more about what's going on. Because I feel like we only have a small piece of the puzzle, and there's not that many eps left to go. You know how in Stranger Things, the plot always ends up split between three groups and none of them actually know what's going on until they all communicate in the penultimate episode? That's how I feel right now except it's the PCs, The Princesses, The Faries, and the Librarians.
It's also potentially illuminating for Elody if the princesses are willing to kill Roz and Ger (I assume they'd bring back at least Roz). And if they were split up from the main party, that's an interesting place for them to be story-wise. (Also, if they brought back Ger but were like Elody he's in the dungeon, don't talk to him he'll fill your head with lies. But she visits him anyway, just like when he was a frog at the pond...but I'm just writing mental fanfic now.) My point is there was potential there for us to get interesting info (and story beats) there which is why I was kind of rooting for it. This whole episode was a big bust with regard to moving towards any sort of goal and they really just made their situation severely worse to no real end. And now the princesses who want to end the world have the most powerful device in all of story.Â
Yay.Â
(Coda: Where is Scher with her "We're real enough" energy to talk the princesses out of their spiral? For the love of story, I am losing my mind here.)

THE OFFICE FELT ALIVE WITH THE PULSE OF CHRISTMAS.
fairy lights draped the edges of cubicle walls, casting warm hues across the room, and garlands hung over doorways, filling the space with a faint hint of pine scent.
the air had an almost electric feelâholiday music blasted softly from someoneâs desk speaker, and laughter echoed from the kitchen, where the holiday potluck was in full swing. ââ đ±đ€đČđł đĄđ€đ«đźđ¶!
you took it all in with a quiet sense of satisfaction, enjoying the warmth of the season.
for a few minutes, at least, the festive atmosphere helped you push aside the stress and exhaustion that had weighed on you lately.
financial strain and the challenges of managing your type 1 diabetes were constant pressures, but they were your private burdens, things you carried alone.
here, in the office, you could leave them behind, escape realityâor at least pretend to.
with a sigh, you pulled your scarf off and hung it by your desk, feeling the familiar vibration of your blood glucose monitor.
you checked the readingâsteady, for now.
relief was brief, though, as you were quickly reminded of the pharmacy bill due at the end of the month, a larger sum that had grown even more unreachable since your insurance provider had started making cuts.
âhey! finally decided to show up?â a smooth voice cut through your thoughts, laced with the perfect blend of mischief and a hint of mockery.
you turned to see park sunghoon, leaning against the divider between your desks with his signature smirk.
he was dressed in a no doubt expensive, tailored coat, his dark hair disheveled in that way that looked both casual and wealthy.
sunghoonâs presence was an unmistakable reminder that you were, as always, worlds apart.
âyes, i thought iâd take pity and show my face,â you shot back, crossing your arms with an eye-roll. âwouldnât want you to get too comfortable doing all the work without me.â
âoh, please. like iâd ever let you have all the credit,â he said, grinning as he pushed himself off the desk.
sunghoonâs wealth was an open secret around the office, though he rarely discussed it openly.
still, the designer clothing, the luxury watches, and the effortless way he carried himself spoke volumes.
he was someone who had grown up with privilege in a way you could barely fathom, and sometimes, it felt almost as if he enjoyed reminding you of it.
it was always little jabs, little commentsâthings he likely didnât realize cut deeper than intended.
you let out a sigh, unwilling to let him get under your skin today, especially when the holidays usually put you in a good mood.
ignoring his stare, you logged into your computer and prepared for the dayâs tasks, hoping heâd get the hint and leave.
but sunghoon didnât move. instead, he watched you, brows slightly raised, as if daring you to keep ignoring him.
finally, he leaned closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial murmur.
âso, whatâd you bring for the potluck? or is this going to be another year of pretending youâre too busy to participate?â he teased, a glint in his eye.
you bristled, annoyance prickling at your skin.
sunghoon didnât know, of course, that youâd barely managed to scrape together enough for groceries this week, let alone something special for the potluckâbut his words hit a sore spot nonetheless.
ânot that itâs any of your business,â you replied with gritted teeth, meeting his gaze, âbut iâve been a little⊠preoccupied with other things.â
âoh? too busy for christmas spirit, mrs. grinch?â his smirk softened just a little, but the teasing tone remained. âhow tragic. i canât imagine a holiday without going all out.â
âyeah, well, maybe some of us have other priorities.â
he tilted his head, curiosity flickering in his expressionâyou could tell he was on the brink of pushing further, maybe digging into what those priorities might be, but before he could, a group of coworkers filed into the room, breaking the tension between you.
after a few hours of emails and spreadsheets, you slipped away for a quick break, heading to the break room.
as you made your way down the hall, you thought about the other expenses coming upâthe overdue pharmacy bill, the rent check, and the dozens of smaller costs that added up so fast it felt impossible to keep up.
youâd learned to carry these worries quietly.
no one in the office had ever seen you let your guard down, and youâd grown so used to putting on a brave face that sometimes you believed it yourself.
in the break room, you reached into your bag, pulling out a small protein bar that would have to suffice as lunch.
you barely had time to take a bite before the door swung open, and sunghoon strolled in, his presence instantly filling the small room.
âskipping lunch again?â he asked, nodding at the protein bar in your hand.
you raised an eyebrow. âi could say the same. didnât peg you for the protein-bar type.â
âoh, please.â he scoffed, moving to grab a coffee pod.
âi just had a massive breakfast. unlike some people, i actually know how to treat myself during the holidays.â
âcongrats on the life of luxury,â you muttered, feeling your patience fray.
he chuckled, missing the edge in your voiceâor, worse, choosing to ignore it. âwell, itâs not for everyone.â
there was something almost infuriating in how casually he threw these little remarks around, as if it were a game.
you often wondered if he had any idea how privileged he sounded or if he was simply so wrapped up in his world that he couldnât see beyond it.
you hated to admit it, but sometimes his comments stung. deeply.
âyou know,â he continued, oblivious, âtheyâre setting up for the secret santa exchange in the main lobby. you could still join in if you want to spread some christmas cheer.â
you felt the words bubbling up before you could stop them. ânot all of us can afford to âspread christmas cheerâ the way you do, sunghoon.â
a flicker of confusion crossed his face, and his casual demeanor faltered for a second.
youâd been careful not to reveal much about your personal life, but his relentless teasing had chipped away at your patience.
you could see him trying to piece together what you meant, his smirk fading as he observed you, perhaps noticing the hint of frustration in your expression.
but before he could press further, you gathered your things and left the break room, feeling his eyes on your back as you made your way down the hall.
the week had dragged on, filled with deadlines and holiday preparations you barely had the energy for.
by thursday evening, youâd almost forgotten about the refill you needed at the pharmacy.
but when the notification popped up on your phoneâprescription ready for pickupâyour stomach twisted.
the monthly pharmacy trip was always a grim reminder of the costs that piled up faster than you could manage.
you entered the pharmacy, still in your work clothes, feeling a familiar combination of dread and fatigue.
the fluorescent lights felt harsh after a long day, casting everything in an unflattering glare.
you waited in line, trying to keep your anxiety at bay, telling yourself that it would be okay.
when you reached the counter, the pharmacist handed over the medication with a sympathetic look.
âiâm sorry, y/n..â she said quietly, glancing down at her screen. âyour insurance isnât covering this anymore. the total comes to⊠$600.â
the number hit you like a punch. âsix hundred?â you echoed, barely able to keep the shock from your voice.
âyes, unfortunately,â she said, her expression softening. âwould you like to speak to someone in billing about options?â
you swallowed hard, feeling a rush of embarrassment.
behind you, a couple of people had joined the line, their eyes on you, and you could sense their impatience.
the pressure made it hard to think, and you fumbled for words, barely able to keep from breaking down. âi⊠i didnât realize it would be that high.â
your hands trembled as you reached for your wallet, counting bills that would barely make a dent.
you felt the weight of judgment pressing down, and the frustration of the week boiled over into a feeling of helplessness.
in that moment, the walls youâd built so carefully began to crackâsuddenly, a familiar voice broke through your thoughts.
âhere, iâve got it.â
you whipped around to see sunghoon, standing just behind you, his expression unreadable.
he held out his card to the cashier, his hand steady, his tone calm. the same calmness you often found infuriatingâbut now it felt like salt in a wound.
âno!â you blurted, voice louder than you intended. âsunghoon, i donât needââ
he didnât look at you, simply held his card out closer to the cashier, who accepted it with a nod.
the transaction beeped through, a small, simple sound that shattered any hope you had of holding onto your pride.
you took a shaky breath, trying to process what had just happened.
the thought of owing sunghoon moneyâlet alone having him swoop in like some heroâmade you feel nauseous.
sunghoon handed you the medication bag without a word, his expression unreadable, almost neutral.
but his silence only fueled the resentment bubbling inside you.
âthanks,â you muttered, barely meeting his gaze, gripping the bag tightly in your hands.
as soon as you stepped outside the pharmacy, the freezing winter air hit your face, jolting you back to reality.
sunghoon followed, catching up to you in a few strides.
his voice was calm but edged with something sharper, something you couldnât quite place.
âyouâre welcome, by the way,â he said, a hint of sarcasm coloring his tone.
you stopped abruptly, turning to face him, anger flaring up despite the chill that seeped into your bones.
âi didnât ask you to help me, sunghoon. i really donât need your charity.â
he scoffed, crossing his arms. âitâs not charity. i was just helping. or is that too difficult for you to accept?â
the words stungâyou looked down, heart racing as you struggled to find the right response.
âyou donât get it. you donât understand what itâs like to need help,â you said quietly, but there was a weight to your words that hung in the air between you.
sunghoon blinked, surprised by the intensity in your tone.
for a brief second, he seemed taken aback, as if realizing for the first time that there were layers to your life heâd never even thought to consider.
but just as quickly, he recovered, his expression hardening.
âmaybe i donât understand,â he said, voice low. âbut i was only trying to be a good friendâyou clearly needed my help.â
the word âfriendâ felt heavy, like it didnât belong.
youâd spent so much time bickering with him, pushing each otherâs buttons, that the idea of friendship felt foreign.
âwe were never friends, sunghoon,â you replied, voice barely above a whisper. ânot really.â
his face fell, just a fraction, but it was enough for you to see the disappointment in his eyes before he quickly masked it.
he didnât respond, didnât argue back. he just stood there, the silence between you filled with unspoken words and simmering emotions.
with a sigh, you turned and walked away, leaving him standing alone under the dim streetlights.
the next morning, you arrived at the office feeling drained, the argument replaying in your mind like a loop you couldnât escape.
youâd spent the entire night wrestling with guilt, shame, and confusion.
as much as you hated to admit it, sunghoon had only been trying to help.
maybe his actions felt patronizing, but it wasnât entirely his faultâyou hadnât exactly been forthcoming about your struggles, either.
you spotted him near the coffee station, and your heart thudded in your chest.
he looked up as you approached, his expression carefully blank, like he wasnât sure what to expect.
âhey,â you began, feeling uncharacteristically nervous. âabout last night⊠iâm sorry. i shouldnât have snapped at you.â
he looked at you for a moment, studying your face, and you felt the tension ease slightly as a hint of a smile softened his expression.
âapology accepted,â he replied, a glimmer of his usual playfulness returning. âbesides, if i canât handle a little yelling, i shouldnât be hanging around you, should i?â
you laughed, surprised by how much lighter you felt. âguess not.â
for the rest of the morning, there was a shift in the air between you and sunghoon.
it was subtle, but the tension had softened into something different, something⊠more understanding.
sunghoon seemed to go out of his way to avoid his usual teasing, and you found yourself appreciating the small moments of considerationâlike when he quietly handed you a cup of coffee during a long meeting, or when he offered to take on part of a six page report without asking.
a few days later, the two of you were assigned to a client project that required an off-site visit to the cityâs holiday market.
the market was bustling with vendors selling everything from handmade ornaments to spiced apple cider, and festive christmas music filled the air as fairy lights wrapped around pine trees twinkled in every direction.
you walked side by side through the crowds, the cold biting at your cheeks, but the festive atmosphere was infectious.
for once, sunghoonâs competitive edge had softened, replaced by a mutual sense of respect that felt unexpectedly natural.
he paused by a stall selling candied nuts, grinning as he handed you a small bag. âtry theseâtheyâre amazing.â
the warmth from the roasted nuts seeped into your hands, and you couldnât help but smile as you tasted one. ânot bad,â you admitted, savoring the sweetness.
he watched you with a soft, almost unreadable expression, his eyes warm in the glow of the holiday lights. âsee? i knew i could get you into the christmas spirit.â
you rolled your eyes but felt your cheeks heat up, and for once, you couldnât blame the cold.
âmaybe christmas isnât so bad,â you conceded, though your tone was playful.
you spent the afternoon walking through the market, sharing laughs and stories, with sunghoonâs usual arrogance replaced by a gentle charm that you werenât familiar with.
there was something tender in the way he looked at you, as if he were seeing you for the first time, and you found yourself stealing glances when he wasnât looking, wondering if maybeâmaybe there was more to him than youâd realized.
the following weeks felt differentâlighter, and even with the temperatures dropping even moreâit felt unusually warmer.
where there had been tension, there was now an unspoken truce between you and sunghoon.
youâd catch his eye across the room and find a small, almost conspiratorial smile tugging at the corner of his lips, as if he, too, felt this strange new dynamic between you.
sunghoonâs teasing didnât completely vanish, but it softened, became something that almost felt like an inside joke between the two of you.
and you found yourself⊠laughing. a lot. his wit was sharp, his timing impeccable, and his presence that you once found insufferable was now strangely comforting.
one snowy december morning, you arrived at your desk to find a small, neatly wrapped box sitting on top of your keyboard.
you looked around, half-expecting to see sunghoon lurking nearby, but he was nowhere in sight.
the gift wasnât anything fancyâjust a small pack of flavored coffee pods with a tiny note attached in his precise handwriting:
âfor when the cafeteria coffee just isnât enough. -sâ
a smile spread across your face, and you felt an unexpected warmth bloom in your chest.
you didnât know what surprised you moreâthat heâd noticed your disdain for the cafeteriaâs bitter coffee, or that heâd gone out of his way to do something about it.
the gesture was small, almost insignificant, but it felt like a piece of kindness slipped through his carefully maintained armor.
later that day, when you saw him passing by, you couldnât help but hold up the box and call out, âyou know, bribery is illegal in this office.â
he raised an eyebrow, his lips spreading into a smirk.
âconsider it a professional courtesy. canât have you grumbling about the coffee all day and distracting everyone with your complaints.â
âoh, please,â you shot back, rolling your eyesâbut you couldnât help but laugh, feeling that warmth settle even deeper.
sunghoon was watching you, something soft and thoughtful in his gaze, and for a moment, the whole world seemed to shrink to just the two of you.
the holiday season meant long hours at the office, with tight deadlines and clients demanding year-end reports.
you and sunghoon found yourselves frequently the last ones to leave, working side by side in the glow of your computer screens as the office grew quiet around you.
one evening, youâd both stayed late, trying to wrap up a particularly demanding project.
your head was pounding, and you absentmindedly massaged your temples, eyes closed, when you heard the quiet thud of something being set down on your desk.
opening your eyes, you found sunghoon standing there, holding out a cup of tea.
âitâs not coffee,â he said, with a small, awkward smile. âbut itâs supposed to help with headaches.â
surprised, you took the cup, feeling your fingers brush his briefly. âthank you,â you murmured, the warmth of the tea seeping through your fingers and into your skin.
you werenât sure what to make of this new, considerate sunghoonâthe same man who once enjoyed riling you up now seemed to be going out of his way to make you feel⊠cared for.
he didnât leave, just watched you as you took a sip, his gaze holding a softness that made your heart flutter.
for a moment, you forgot the rivalry, forgot the teasing and the jabs.
all you saw was sunghoon, standing there with a quiet, almost hesitant expression, as if he, too, was trying to understand what was happening between you.
when he finally looked away, clearing his throat awkwardly, you couldnât help but feel a pang of disappointment.
the silence hung heavy with words left unsaid, and as he walked back to his desk, you felt a strange longing settle in your chestâa longing that surprised and confused you in equal measure.
a week before christmas, the company sent you and sunghoon out to oversee a local holiday event as part of a charity initiative.
the city was sparkling with lights, carols, and people bundled in scarves and coats, laughing and chattering as they browsed the decorated stalls.
snow had started to fall, dusting the sidewalks in soft white powder.
âstick with me,â sunghoon said, giving you a wink as he led the way through the crowd. âwe wouldnât want you to get lost in the holiday rush.â
âoh, please,â you retorted, rolling your eyesâbut you fell into step beside him, the easy banter warming you against the chilly air.
you wandered through the market together, occasionally stopping to admire handcrafted ornaments or taste samples of hot peppermint chocolate.
sunghoon even bought you a gingerbread cookie shaped like a snowman, holding it out with a shy grin.
âitâs not much,â he said, as if embarrassed by the simplicity of it.
âitâs perfect,â you replied, surprised by how genuine your own smile felt.
you took a bite, savoring the sweetness, while sunghoon watched you with an expression that made your heart flutter.
as you made your way through the crowd, you felt his hand brush against yours, a barely-there touch that sent a thrill down your spine.
you glanced up at him, half-expecting a smirk, but his expression was serious, his gaze focused on you in a way that made your heart race.
for a few beats, neither of you spoke, the sounds of the bustling market fading into the background.
sunghoonâs gaze held yours, intense and unwavering, and you felt a strange, almost magnetic pull between you.
you didnât realize how close you were standing until someone bumped into you from behind, breaking the moment.
sunghoon quickly reached out to steady you, his hand firm and reassuring on your arm.
âare you okay?â he asked, his voice a whisper, his eyes searching yours.
you nodded, suddenly hyper-aware of his hand on your arm. âyeah, iâm fine. thanks.â
he didnât let go right away, and you found yourself leaning into his touch, just for a second, savoring the warmth and closeness.
when he finally released you, his fingers lingered just a moment too long, leaving a tingling warmth in their wake.
as the evening wound down, you found yourselves standing at the edge of the market, watching the snow fall softly around you.
the streetlights casted a dim, yellow warm glow over the scene, and you could see your breath mingling with his in the chilly air.
sunghoon shifted beside you, his expression unreadable. âyou know, i never thought weâd actually get along,â he admitted, his tone quiet, almost hesitant.
âme neither,â you replied, feeling a strange, bittersweet ache in your chest. âguess it took the holidays to bring out the best in us.â
he chuckled softly, but there was something melancholy in his smile. âmaybe. or maybe it just took us actually⊠seeing each other.â
the words hung heavy in the air, their meaning lingering between you.
for the first time, you realized that he hadnât just been teasing you all those monthsâmaybe heâd been reaching out, trying to connect in the only way he knew how.
and maybe⊠maybe youâd been doing the same.
the snow continued to fall, soft and silent, as you stood together in a moment that felt suspended in time.
the following monday, you walked into the office to find an unusual hyper buzz in the air.
coworkers were whispering, exchanging knowing looks, and as you made your way to your desk, you could feel their curious glances following you.
âwhatâs going on?â you finally asked one of your coworkers, trying to ignore the strange, uneasy feeling building in your stomach.
your coworker glanced at you, clearly excited to spill the news. âoh, didnât you hear? sunghoonâs engaged! his family announced it over the weekend. isnât that amazing?â
the words hit you like a slapâfor a moment, you could only stare, the world tilting around you as the reality sank in.
engaged. park sunghoon was⊠engaged?
somehow, you managed to keep your composure, nodding along and murmuring something that sounded like congratulations.
but inside, you felt like your heart had been stepped on and crushed into a thousand pieces.
you hadnât even realized how much heâd come to mean to you until that moment, until the possibility of him slipping out of your life loomed in front of you.
the warmth, the stolen glances, the lingering touchesâthey all felt like illusions now, shattered by the cold reality of his engagement.
and as the days passed, you found yourself pulling away, avoiding him, unable to face the ache that had settled in your chest.
you convinced yourself it was for the best, that distancing yourself would make it easier.
but each time you caught a glimpse of himâsitting at his desk, laughing with a coworker, or glancing your way with a confused expressionâthe pain flared, sharp and unyielding.
the annual company christmas party was an elaborate affair held at a high-end hotel ballroom, decked out with garlands, chandeliers wrapped in fairy lights, and a massive christmas tree in the center of the room.
you arrived alone, shivering as the chilly air picked at your bare armsânerves prickling as you took in the festive crowd of coworkers mingling, laughing, and toasting to the holiday season.
youâd done your best to dress up, but an unmistakable heaviness clung to youâthe weight of sunghoonâs engagement lingered, even after avoiding himâyou couldnât escape the haunting of park sunghoon.
you hadnât spoken to him in days, going out of your way to avoid his attempts to talk.
heâd noticed, of course. the confused glances, the way his brow furrowed when he caught sight of you hurrying out of a roomâthose small, unspoken moments were like daggers, deepening the ache in your chest.
it hurt more than youâd thought possible, this distance, and yet you couldnât bring yourself to face him.
tonight, the ballroom was filled with the sounds of holiday classics, the gentle clinking of glasses, and the murmur of cheerful conversations.
you pushed your way through the crowd, greeting coworkers and accepting the occasional compliment, but your mind kept wandering, searching for him against your better judgment.
when you finally saw him, standing near the christmas tree in a tailored dark suit, your heart twisted painfully.
he looked⊠incredible, polished and confident as always, but there was something else in his eyesâa tension, a restlessness that you couldnât place.
he was surrounded by a small group of colleagues, but he seemed distracted, his gaze scanning the room as if looking for someone.
you turned quickly, hoping he hadnât noticed you, and tried to lose yourself in the crowd.
but even as you made small talk with your coworkers, your attention kept drifting back to him, your heart stubbornly refusing to let go.
at some point in the evening, the lights dimmed, and the band began playing a slow, romantic melody.
a coworker you barely knew approached you, a friendly smile on his face as he offered his hand. âcare for a dance?â
the last thing you wanted was to be dragged onto the dance floor, but the thought of standing alone, surrounded by the sight of happy couples, felt worse.
you accepted, letting him guide you to the center of the room.
the music was soft and gentle, filling the room like a quiet whisperâyour dance partner was polite, talking amiably as you swayed to the music, but you barely heard a word he said.
your gaze drifted, unbidden, toward sunghoon. he was watching you, his expression hidden in shadow, but you could see the pain in his eyesâa pain that mirrored your own.
for a moment, everything else faded away.
the ballroom, the music, the dozens of people around youâall of it blurred into the background as you met his gaze.
it was a single, suspended moment, one that hung heavy with all the things left unsaid, all the secrets youâd kept bottled up.
sunghoonâs expression was raw, his eyes shining with an intensity that left you breathless.
he looked⊠devastated, as if the sight of you dancing with someone else was tearing him apart.
a flicker of hope sparked in your heart, but you quickly quashed it, reminding yourself that he was engaged.
and yet⊠the look in his eyes felt so real, so heartbreakingly genuine, that you almost believed he cared as deeply as you did.
when the song ended, you quickly excused yourself from your dance partner, feeling suddenly overwhelmed.
you retreated to the side of the room, fighting to steady your breath as you chugged a glass of champagne, all while trying to make sense of the emotions swirling inside you.
moments later, the ceo stepped up to the front of the room, tapping the microphone and quieting the crowd.
he began his speech, thanking everyone for their hard work and loyalty over the past year, his words filled with the usual corporate platitudes.
you listened half-heartedly, your mind elsewhere, still reeling from the intensity of sunghoonâs gaze.
as the ceoâs speech drew to a close, he turned to sunghoon with a broad smile.
âand of course, we canât end this night without congratulating our very own park sunghoon on his recent engagement!â
a round of applause erupted, and all eyes turned to sunghoonâhe stood there, looking cornered, his face a mix of frustration and anguish as he glanced out at the crowd, clearly uncomfortable with the attention.
his gaze flicked to you for just a moment, but it was enough for you to see the raw emotion in his eyesâthe pain, the longing, and something deeper, something desperate.
the applause began to fade, and an uncomfortable silence settled over the room as everyone waited for him to respond.
you held your breath, watching as he took a deep, steadying breath and then lifted his head, his gaze sweeping over the crowd before finally resting on you.
âi⊠i have something to say,â he began, his voice trembling just slightly, though he tried to mask it with a steady, confident tone. âmy parents may have announced an engagement, but i⊠i canât go through with it.â
a collective gasp rippled through the crowd, murmurs breaking out as people exchanged shocked glances.
sunghoon held his ground, his eyes never leaving yours, and you felt your heart pounding wildly, your entire body frozen as his words sank in.
âi canât go through with it,â he continued, his voice stronger now, filled with a conviction that made your chest ache. âbecause⊠because iâm in love with someone else.â
his words echoed in the silence, hanging in the air like a confession to the whole worldâthe room was utterly still, every eye fixed on him, but he seemed oblivious to them all, focused solely on you.
your breath caught, and you felt a wave of shock and disbelief wash over you, mingled with a wild, desperate hope.
sunghoon took a step closer towards you, his eyes filled with an intensity that left you breathless.
âiâm in love with you, y/n. iâve been so in love with youâfor longer than i want to admit.â
the entire room was staring now, but all you could see was him.
your heart raced, your mind whirling as you struggled to process what heâd just saidâpart of you wanted to run, to escape the weight of all those eyes on you, but another part, a larger part, wanted nothing more than to close the distance between you and let yourself fall into his arms.
but it was all too muchâthe crowd, the confession, the overwhelming emotions crashing over you like a tidal wave.
without another word, you turned and fled, pushing your way through the stunned crowd, your heart pounding as you made your way outside.
the cold air hit you like a slap, shocking your senses and grounding you just enough to keep you from collapsing under the weight of it all.
you were barely halfway down the steps when you heard footsteps behind you.
ây/n! wait!â
you turned to see sunghoon jogging after you, his face pale, eyes wide with worry.
he reached for you, but you took a step back, shaking your head, barely able to hold back the tears that threatened to spill over.
âwhy did you do that, sunghoon?â you whispered, your voice trembling. âwhy did you have to say all that in front of everyone?â
he looked at you, desperation etched into every line of his face. âbecause i couldnât keep it inside anymore,â he said, his voice raw, broken. âi couldnât pretend. not when⊠not when all i want is you.â
you shook your head, struggling to keep your composure. âyou donât understand. you canât just⊠say things like that, sunghoon. youâre engagedâyour familyâŠâ
âi donât care about any of that!â he interrupted, his voice rising. âi donât care about the engagement, the expectations, any of it. none of it matters if i canât be with you.â
his words hung heavy in the air, and you felt your defenses crumbling, piece by piece.
but the fear, the uncertainty, was still there, clawing at you, refusing to let you give in.
âi donât need your pity,â you said, your voice barely a whisper. âi donât want you to feel sorry for me.â
he looked at you, hurt flashing in his eyes. âthis isnât pity, y/n. iâm not trying to save you. i just⊠i just want to be with you.â
for a moment, you stood there, the silence between you filled with all the things left unsaid.
and then, before he could say anything more, you turned and walked away, the tears finally spilling over as you slipped into the cab and closed the door, leaving him standing there alone in the falling snow.
the next morning, you woke with a heavy heart, the memory of last night replaying in your mind.
you felt raw, vulnerable, and yet, there was a faint glimmer of hope buried beneath the acheâa hope that maybe, this was real.
your thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock at your door.
you rose, heart pounding, and opened it to find sunghoon standing there, holding a bouquet of flowers, his eyes red-rimmed as if he hadnât slept.
youâd expected sunghoon to be at the door, waiting with an apology or a questionâbut you hadnât expected him to look so vulnerable.
his usual confidence was gone, replaced by a rawness that mirrored everything youâd felt since the night before.
the bouquet he held was a mix of wildflowers and holiday greeneryâred berries and sprigs of pine woven among soft white flowers that stood out against the darkness of the early morning.
when you finally took the bouquet from his hands, your fingers brushed his, sending a jolt of warmth through you.
the simple touch said everything words hadnâtâthe apology, the relief, and maybe most of all, the overwhelming sense of rightness that you couldnât ignore any longer.
the silence stretched, each of you looking at the other, feeling the weight of all that had come before and the fragile hope for what might come next.
he looked at you, eyes searching your face with a hesitance that felt new, uncertain.
ây/nâŠâ he began, his voice soft, each syllable filled with a vulnerability youâd never heard before.
âi know last night was⊠overwhelming. and iâm sorry if i put you on the spot, but i meant every single word.â
you felt your heart flutter, the sincerity in his gaze unshakableâhe looked at you as if you were something precious, something heâd been waiting his whole life to hold close.
and that look, filled with quiet awe and devotion, undid every defense youâd carefully built over the years.
âi was afraid to believe it,â you whispered, the words spilling out before you could stop them. âi was so afraid that this would all be some fleeting thing for you. that iâd just be another distraction.â
his brows knit together in disbelief, and he reached up, gently brushing a stray tear from your cheek.
âa distraction?â he murmured, a trace of pain in his voice. ây/n, youâre the only person iâve ever been able to be⊠real with. you see meâbeyond my name, beyond the expectations. i didnât know how much i needed that until i met you.â
for a moment, you just looked at him, feeling the weight of his words settle over you like a warm blanket.
every snide comment, every misunderstanding, every late night spent working togetherâeach memory replayed in your mind, and suddenly, it all made sense.
what youâd shared wasnât just rivalry or convenience; it had been the start of something deeper, something real.
âiâve wanted to hear that for so long,â you said, a soft laugh escaping you. âi just⊠i couldnât admit it, not even to myself.â
a slow, relieved smile spread across his face, and he took a step closer, pulling you into a gentle hug. his arms wrapped around you, holding you close in a way that felt so natural, as if youâd been made to fit there.
he smelled faintly of cedar and pine, a comforting, earthy scent that made you feel warm and safe.
you could feel his heartbeat against yours, steady and strong, grounding you as everything else melted away.
âthen stay with me,â he whispered, his breath warm against your ear. âstay with me, y/n. iâll prove to you that this is real. that iâm all in.â
you pulled back slightly to look into his eyes, searching for any hint of uncertainty.
but all you saw was unwavering devotion, a promise he seemed ready to carry for as long as you needed.
âi love you, sunghoon,â you said, feeling the words roll off your tongue, soft and unrestrained, like a sigh of relief after holding your breath for too long.
âi think⊠iâve loved you for a long time. even when i couldnât admit it, even when you drove me crazy.â
a soft laugh escaped him, and he looked at you with an expression filled with wonder, as if he, too, had been waiting his whole life to hear those words.
âi never thought iâd hear you say that,â he whispered, his voice thick with admiration and softness.
âneither did i,â you admitted, your smile mirroring his.
he leaned down, cupping your face with gentle hands as he closed the small distance between you.
his lips met yours in a kiss that was soft, warm, and filled with the quiet certainty that this was where you were meant to be.
the world around you faded, leaving only the warmth of his embrace and the lingering taste of his kiss.
the weeks that followed felt like a dream.
for the first time, you let yourself enjoy the simplicity of being with him, unburdened by the anxieties that had once kept you apart.
sunghoonâs presence became a comfort, a steady warmth that you found yourself relying on more and more.
with christmas only a few days away, he insisted on taking you to a secluded cabin his family owned, nestled in a quiet of a forest just outside the city.
when you arrived, snow covered the ground in a perfect blanket, undisturbed and glistening under the faint light of a winter sunset.
the cabin was charmingly rustic, decorated with fairy lights and pine wreaths, and a cozy fire crackled in the stone fireplace, filling the room with a comforting warmth.
sunghoon stood behind you as you both took in the view, his arms wrapping around your waist as he rested his chin on your shoulder.
âwelcome to our first tradition,â he murmured, his voice soft and filled with warmth.
âour first tradition?â you echoed, a smile playing on your lips.
he nodded, pulling you closer. âi want to spend every christmas with you. just like thisâpeaceful, just us. no crowds, no expectations. just you, me, and⊠maybe a cup of hot chocolate.â
you laughed, turning in his arms to face him. âi could get used to that.â
he smiled, reaching up to brush a snowflake from your hairâthe gesture was so tender, so filled with quiet adoration, that your heart swelled with love for him all over again.
âletâs go inside,â he said, taking your hand. âthereâs something i want to show you.â
you followed him into the cabin, where he led you to a small table by the window.
on it was a simple, carefully wrapped box with a red ribbon tied around itâhe handed it to you, his eyes warm and expectant.
you opened the box to find a small, delicate charm bracelet with a single charmâa tiny snowflake, etched in silver.
it sparkled under the dim light, catching the glow from the fire.
âitâs beautiful, hoon..â you whispered, touched by the thoughtfulness of the gift.
he reached out, clasping it around your wrist with a soft smile. âi wanted something that would remind you of this moment. of us.â
your throat tightened, and you looked up at him, feeling an overwhelming wave of gratitude and love.
heâd given you so much more than a giftâheâd given you a promise, a quiet assurance that he was in this for the long haul.
âthank you,â you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
he smiled, leaning down to press a soft kiss to your forehead. âmerry christmas, y/n.â
as you stood there together, wrapped in each otherâs arms, the snow began to fall outside, blanketing the world in a peaceful, serene quiet.
the warmth of the cabin, the gentle crackling of the fire, and the soft glow of fairy lights filled the space, making it feel like you were in your own little world.
and in that moment, you realized that everything youâd gone throughâevery argument, every misunderstanding, every long, quiet night spent wondering what could have beenâhad all been worth it.
because it had led you here, to this moment, to him.
the rest of the night was spent in quiet conversation, sharing dreams and hopes for the future as you watched the snow fall outside.
you talked about everything and nothing, feeling the joy of being together without any walls between you.
the future was a blank canvas, filled with endless possibilities, and for the first time, you allowed yourself to picture itâeach memory, each holiday, painted with sunghoon by your side.
as the night drew to a close, you found yourself drifting off to sleep in his arms, the fire casting soft shadows across the room, wrapping you both in warmth.
sunghoonâs heartbeat was a steady lullaby, soothing and constant, and you let yourself sink into the comfort of it, knowing that this was only the beginning.
and as you closed your eyes, a single thought lingered, filling you with a quiet, profound happinessâ
you were finally home.

Fandom is so nice to Jiang Cheng's inferiority complex because in reality every single thing he gets accused of is something Wei Wuxian is better at than him.
Jiang Cheng killed Wei Wuxian? Nope. Didn't even get close. Wei Wuxian's own spirits tore him apart before jc could even get there. wwx:1 jc:0
Jiang Cheng tortures people? We get two and a half rumours and a mention from jin ling that jc has 'captured' demonic cultivators before, but who is also apparently confident that just letting wwx run off will kill the issue even though those earlier rumours said ~no one who sandu shengshou captured was ever seen again~
The word jiang cheng uses when he tries to talk big game about 'beating the truth' out of Wei Wuxian's is a word that carries the context of pestering someone to do their homework. Doesn't exactly strike fear into my heart.
Wei Wuxian? Excellent at torture. A prodigy. Did you fucking see what he did to Wen Chao? Dude didn't have fingers anymore because wei wuxian made him eat them. He ripped out his hair, burned his skin off, and then stalked him for several days just to prolong the pain. He forced Wang Lingjiao to bite Wen Chao's dick off and then made her shove a stool leg down her own throat! 10/10, no notes. Absolutely horrifying.
Meanwhile Jiang Cheng's idea of torture is getting a dog to bark at Wei Wuxian for a few seconds. Weak, unoriginal, I bet fairy was literally wagging her tail the whole time. 2-0
Jiang Cheng made the entire cultivation world believe Wei Wuxian was up to no good on the burial mounds and ultimately orchestrated his downfall? lol. lmao, even
It's a big thing in certain corners of the fandom to really zoom in one one particular phrase at the end of chapter 73, where after wwx and jc have their staged duel to make the world believe they hate each other jiang cheng tells everyone wwx has defected and become "a public enemy'' or "an enemy to the cultivation world" or whatever the translation you're familiar with decided upon.
(As an aside, something I really like about this line is that the last half of it is almost exactly the same, like verbatim, as what wwx told him to say. like, the chapter is really hammering home just how much jc is speaking from a script here. wwx tells jc to say "ä»ćéæ çŸĄæ èźșććșä»äčäșïŒéœäžäșæąŠæ±æ°æ ć
ł." and jc says "ä»ćæ èźșæ€äșșæäœćšäœïŒäžæŠäžäșæąŠæ±æ°æ ć
ł" the only meaningful difference is that he says 'this person' instead of wwx's name)
I've seen it said that this bit, the use of 'enemy' was said without wei wuxian's approval, that jc deviated from the script just to hurt his ex-shixiong for leaving him. And that this is what caused all the other clans to turn against wei wuxian. Regardless of if this is what jc and wwx discussed, or if jc had malicious motivations for it (considering my conclusions above, you can guess where i fall) it doesn't really matter, because the novel tells us when the clans completely freak out and become convinced wei wuxian is out to get them (though of course they've been wringing their hands about it since the literal day wwx ran off with the wen, months before jiang cheng visited) very neatly in chapter 75!
It's when they find out about Wen Ning.
And how do they find out about Wen Ning?
Because Wei Wuxian took him on nighthunts! And they kicked ass!
...Wei Wuxian, my man, why are you on nighthunts??? Why are you showing off your incredibly cool sentient fierce corpse buddy, who is way better and stronger than all the other fierce corpses, in front of the whole cultivation world??
Whatever his motivations (extra money, maybe?? they were strapped for crash) I can only draw the conclusion wwx had already given up on appearing calm or non-threatening and didn't care if the clans thought he was a threat, because they'd believe whatever they wanted anyway. Which he seems to clearly be aware of the whole time.
Regardless, we know that this is what created the myth of the Yiling patriarch. It's literally when the title first shows up!
Even if you really believe jc was secretly plotting against wwx in chapter 73, he's clearly doing a shit job of it because nothing he said made anywhere near as big an impact as this. Flopped!
The other point people use to argue Jiang Cheng caused wei wuxian's downfall is Jin Guangyao's speech in Guanyin temple about how jiang cheng could have saved wei wuxian if only he stood by him. Setting aside that jin guangyao is trying to get into jiang cheng's head here, and isn't necessarily saying what he really believes (though it very well might be! who knows with a character like jgy. assuming he's always lying is just as misleading as assuming he's always saying the truth) the fact is, if you read the speech closely, what he's talking about is not the 'public enemy' line, he's talking about the bond between them. The fact that people wanted wei wuxian out of yunmeng jiang, because the two were too powerful together.
He's talking about that one time Jiang Cheng very publically kicked wei wuxian out of the sect!
Which, unbeknownst to Jin Guangyao, was in fact Wei Wuxian's idea the whole time.
final score: 3 for you wei wuxian, you go wei wuxian! And nothing for Jiang Cheng bye.
#mdzs#wei wuxian#jiang cheng#yunmeng shuangjie#i have never been more tempted to tag something as 'canon jiang cheng'#i don't really believe in the whole 'reclaiming the tag' thing i kinda roll my eyes at it and stay out of there#but I AM explicitly talking about fanon misconceptions about jiang cheng... and is that not what that tag was for?? oh well#let's not antagonize people#i am giggling at the realization that jgs must have thought all his pointed comments about wwx's 'disrespect' hit their mark#when wwx defected#only for jc to sneak his future daughter in law to yiling and letting wwx name his grandson a few months later#LMAOOO GET REKT OLD MAN

Cast me a spell
barbarian! Bakugo x witch Afab! reader one shot
A barbarian needs a spell to cause the downfall of his enemies, he found just the witch to do it
warnings: smut
chapter two here
a/n bro I just freestyled this đđ btw I made it afab cuz itâs smut and I probs canât write gay sex rn but everything else is gender neutral trust. Also this is my first time writing smut so please donât judge đ
Bakugo is aged up to 20
Bakugo groaned as he walked in forest, dry leaves and twigs snapping under his boot. Bakugo had been sent by his tribe to find a witch, a witch who would rig the war they were in and beat the other tribe. Bakugo didnât know why he had to go, there were so many barbarian men who would go! Whyâd it have to be him! The elders found him the strongest clearly, thatâs got to be a good sign. Maybe heâll inherit the chief title from his fatherâŠ. Bakugo shook the thoughts away as he looked around for some kind of cabin, some sort of suggestion to show there is a witch out here like the elders say, maybe theyâll see bakugo is strong and worthy if he manages to make the witch come with him back to the tribe. Bakugo whistled while looking around, suddenly a fox came up to his legs and sat by him âwhat..? What do you want you pestâ he tried to kick the fox, but the fox dodged it and used his head to tell bakugo to come with him âIâm not going with a fox forget it.â
bakugo continued walking before the fox yelped out and four more foxes appeared, all different colours. What stood out to him was how one fox seemed to have a light purple almost lavender colour, the sun made it difficult to see however âhuh..? No I donât trust no fo- OUCH!â Bakugo yelped as all 5 foxes bit him and tried to drag him too the other way âfine! Fine! Iâll follow you..â bakugo grumbled, seemingly annoyed. The foxes let go and began to lead bakugo down a pathway, he began to see fruits and vegetables being grown on a sort of farm. Bakugo at first thought that the foxes were leading him to a farmer and this was some sort of advertisement but he was proved wrong when he saw a fairy dust like powder float above the crops and then be placed ontop, making the crops grow almost twice their size and look healthier. Then he noticed the clearly unnatural cloud of rain water the plants, it was so close to the ground that there was no way it was natural. It just hovered over the crops in a neat line. Then the natural sun seemed to do some good. Bakugo noticed that the creatures seemed to look more mythical the further he went, once black birds were now beautiful shades of blue, pink, yellow ect. Cats and bunnies around began to come up in more colourful shades too, bright blue and green eyes watching. Now the flowers had a glow, they were all gold and sparkling. Everything looked unnatural and non normalâŠmythical, almost fairy tail like⊠he began to hear the humming of a person he was preparing for a ugly hag.. but no, a beautiful person with a equally as mythical look to them! You! A fox went up the To you and you got on your knees to âhearâ what it had to say, then⊠you looked up at bakugo
âwhat are you needingâŠ?â You asked him as you raised to your feet âI.. Uhm⊠I need something, my tribe actually. My tribe needs somethingâ he informed you âneeds⊠needs what?â You began to walk towards bakugo âa bad luck spell.. something like that. Weâre at war andâŠâ âyou want me to rig it..?make âem loose?â You interrupted him âhowâd you knowâŠ?â Bakugo was shocked âI know this stuff, now.. do you want them to loose..?â You asked softly and he nodded âI think.. I think I have just the thing, come insideâ you used your finger to motion him to come inside. You began to mix up a potion, full of that gold flower, the fairy dust like powder, a couple fruits, some other unknown ingredients ect⊠you put it in a bottle that while it looked small, could fit a whole tribes worth of water. Then you stepped towards a book shelf, looking through the spell books available to you. You made a âahâ sound and then pulled a dusty book, blowing the dust off. âDo you have anything of the uh.. other sidesâ you asked him âlike their hair or some shit?â He asked aggressively âthat could work, clothes, arrows they shot, accessories, blood. Anything that come from the other teamâ
Bakugo thought for a moment, âuh⊠I have a piece of one of their swordsâ he pulled a bloodied peice of metal out from one of his pockets, dried blood falling off and onto his fingers âthat works!â You grabbed the piece of metal and placed it by an unlit candle, grabbing a match and lighting it. You reached over to light the candle and then sat by the candle and began to whisper something, like a prayer. âWhat are you doing?â He asked, you ignored him and continued your whispering âanswer meâ he grumbled, you looked at him then closed your eyes again. Once again continuing your whispering, after a couple of minutes you finished and slowly stood back up âdoing a spell, as per you asked.â You grabbed the glass bottle full of the potion âyou feed these to your armies, youâll be strong enough and the war will be over in a day or twoâ you said quietly to him as you placed the bottle into his hand, and closed his hand for him. âWhat would it taste like?â He asked âlike water, what do you think?â You leaned your weight onto one hip âI donât know, like shit?â He rolled his eyes âdonât get an attitude with meâ you got up into his face âwho are you talking to like that?â He grumbled âyou obviouslyâ you chuckled then walked off. Grabbing herbs and other stuff, clearly organising stuff âwhat you just going to stand there?â You asked, wondering if he was going to leave anytime soon, looking over your shoulder at him. âCould you come back with me? To my tribe?â He asked with his typical rough deep voice âwhy would I do that?â You placed books in a wooden book shelf âwe need your helpâ âIâve already helped you havenât I?â âJust do it.â He grumbled at you, grabbing your shoulder âmmmm noâ you said
in pure frustration with you bakugo picked you up and threw you over his shoulder âoi! Whyâd you do that!â You kicked in an attempt to get away from him âget over it princessâ he chuckled as he pushed the door open with his body and then walked you in the forests back to his tribe, holding your body over his shoulder and your legs down with his arms to prevent you from kicking him âout me down put me down!â You screamed as you yanked at his hair, he didnât notice nor did he care. âWill you be good and not walk off? Youâll follow me?â He asked as his ego got larger and larger âughhhhhh fine!âyou agreed, he leaned down and placed you down onto the ground âyou owe me, I rigged a tribal war for youâ you said with a obvious attitude âoh yeah? What do I owe you? A animal? Weird ingredients for your freaky potions? A quest? Sex? A man from my tribe once had to sleep with a witch for potionsâ he listed off his ideas âwhy would I sleep with you? Your egos probably bigger than your dick.â You crossed your arms in frustration âsomeoneâs got an attitudeâ bakugo playfully shoved you âdonât even.â
you went back to bakugos tribe, he gave his tribe the potion you gave them, the war just like you said was over in a day. You ended up having to follow bakugo around because you didnât know anyone else as well, you eventually had gotten used to the change, by the sixth month of living there you were considered one of them. Iâve had atleast 50 people come up to me asking if your my spouse/wife/husbandâ he said while you two were going for a walk âwell lucky Iâm notâ you chuckled âmaybe you should be, Iâll need a wife/spouse/husband when I become chiefâ you blushed deeply âw-w-what..?âyou stuttered âitâs true, they donât let people who arenât married be chief. Iâm next in line to be chief and Iâm not marriedâ he informed you âare you trying to propose to me? Youâve known me a whole of 6 months!â You said in surprise âmy parents got married after 3â âis that like a cultural thing?â You asked âyeah⊠the other tribes get married after a later time, I guess this is what weâve always done, we done need to love each other, just so I become chief.â He says âso this is a proposal?â Your eyebrows raised âyes I suppose it is.â Bakugo grumbled âIâll think about itâ
you laid in bed that night as you stared at the roof of your hut, thinking about what bakugo said. You slowly rolled out of bed and put some shoes and stumbled out of your wooden hut and looked towards bakugos hut, the light from his windows suggest he was still awake. You slowly walk towards his hut, the sound of grass beneath your feet. Most huts were dark, a way to say the people in them were asleep; not bakugo though. Bakugo stayed up late training. You knocked on bakugos door, you could hear him put something down then walk towards the door; he opened the door and he looked down towards you âoh.. helloâ he said in surprise âI UhmâŠwhatcha doing?â âWorking out, your supposed to be asleepâ he furrowed his eyebrows âyeah I know but I canât sleepâ you said as you walked into his hut, flopping onto his bed âdonât get too comfy thereâ he sat down next to you âyour beds comfier then mine thoughâŠ.â You whined and got yourself buried into his bed sheets, he sneakily wrapped an arm around you âwhat are you doing..?â You asked him ânothing..â he said with a smile âyour really trying when it comes to this whole getting married thing..â you whispered to him, his hand reached for your hips âmaybe I amâŠ. Maybe Iâm notâ he sighed and rubbed your side. You rolled over to lean on his chest a bit, you used light magic to make fire flies appear, having a sort of light show appear. Bakugo watched it and smiled âhave you always been able to do that..?â He asked âsince I was around 8 maybeâŠâ you replied, bakugo reached into your shirt, softly rubbing your chest. You whimpered softly, he smiled and leaned down to kiss your neck. âDo you want me to stop?â He asked softly ânoâŠâ you replied.
you slowly wiggled out of your bottoms, he watched you do it from above. He smiled softly at the sight. âShould we just get straight at it?â He asked softly as he unbuckled his belt, an obvious buldge in his pants. He grabbed you by your hips and pulled you towards him âjust be a good girl him?â He grumbled and managed to pull his pants down and pulled his member out âtell me if it hurts bubâ he says softly âokay.. yeah I can do thatâ you nodded, you felt him slowly push inside of your body. He let out a slight grunt, you bit down on your bottom lip. He eventually bottomed out which didnât take long due to the size of his length. âC-can I uh⊠mmph.. m-move now..?â He whined softly âmhm..â you whines and spread your legs a little bit wider for more access to your body. He slowly pulled out almost all the way only for him to push back in, you yelped and wrapped your arms around his neck. Burying your face into his neck while he thrusted into you, stretching you out. It had been a while since either of you had done something like this so it was obvious why he was so needy. He gripped your waist softly and eventually found a pace that both of you found pleasurable. You let out a moan as he began to go a bit faster with you, the tip of him tapping against your cervix, the knot in your belly began to tighten suggesting the fact you were getting close âmmph..â he whimpered as he buried his face into your neck, you reached up to pet his hair. You moaned and whined. Eventually his thrusted became sloppy and more like he was chasing his own climax, the knot in your tummy threatened to burst and eventually⊠it did. The warmth of his cum going inside you was a comforting feeling
âyou know maybe I will marry youâŠâ

You knew the story of Cruella De Vil and your parents one hundred one dalmatians. It was told to you as a bedtime story every night you asked for it growing up. So, naturally, you'd grown a distaste for Cruella De Vil, and her son who'd you'd just found out existed, Carlos.
You never sported a fancy dress or a tux, considering you worked with dogs.
During the VK's second day in Auradon, their search for their next class led them past your little pasture of grass where you worked with and trained dogs. From Yorkies to German Shepherds, you had them all.
But you'd unfortunately caught their attention as they passed by, your loud shouting and jogging leading them to you. Mal opens the door, Carlos behind her shivering and shaking at the sight of dogs.
"What are you doing?!" He asks her
Mal rolls her eyes. "Seeing what they're doing with all these dogs"
The four approach you, nearly scaring the hell out of you with their bright hair and clothes. They'd snuck up on you while you had your back turned, in your defense.
"Oh, hello! You must be the new kids?"
Mal nods. "Mal, Maleficent's daughter"
She accepts your handshake as you introduce yourself. "Y/n. Rodger and Anita Radcliffe's kid. Y'know, Cruella De Vil and the dalmatians?" You chuckle
Mal, Evie, and Jay all look over at Carlos, practically pretzeling himself as he holds his arms to his chest, feet stuck together to make himself a smaller target for all the dogs.
"Evie, daughter of Evil Queen" The blue haired girl smiles.
"I'm Jay" The boy with the long hair flexes his muscles.
Mal snaps at Carlos.
"Uh- Carlos."
"Cruella De Vil's son" Mal smirks.
You blink, staring at the boy. "Uhm, so! Why are you guys here? Shouldn't you be in class?"
Mal shrugs. "We'll be fine. What's with all the dogs?" She asks, watching a pitbull nearly tackle you as it jumps on you.
You giggle, rubbing his back. "I train dogs" You answer, looking back up at her.
"At school?"
You shrug. "Better than on the street. Fairy Godmother allowed it cause I'm such an excellent student" You give them a fake smile, knowing your grades were fairly average, maybe just below. "But, it's either this or they get killed" You shrug, "I work with cats as well, but my friend Marie is mostly in charge of that"
"Let me guess..." The purple haired girl begins. "Marie, like those three little talking kittens?"
You nod. "You can play with them," you say, referring to the dogs, "I'm not gonna tattle on you for skipping, I couldn't care less."
Carlos shrieks, jumping onto Jay's shoulders quickly as a small dog attempts to jump on him, wanting attention. Your eyes quickly widen, looking up at him. You look back at Mal, curious as to why he was so jumpy.
"He'll tell you" She snickers, her and Evie walking off to play with one of the smaller dogs.
Jay shoves Carlos off his shoulders, leaving him cowering in fear to chase after one of the larger dogs. Carlos stands still, staring at you while the dogs bark and growl, playing with each other and with his friends.
"Why are you so scared of dogs?" You chuckle, picking a little Shitzu up, holding her in your arms.
"My mom told me that dogs are little demons that eat boys when they're bad" He answers quickly, the words falling out of his mouth. His eyes are running wild, trying to make sure none of the dogs approached him.
Your expression softens, realizing he's not some evil asshole that you'd thought he was at first. Christ, he wasn't gonna hurt these dogs, he couldn't even be within the same space as them.
"Well, your mom lied to you. These dogs are the nicest creatures on this Earth, they wouldn't ever think of purposefully hurting you, let alone think of eating you" You chuckle, scratching the ears of the dog in your arms.
A slightly wide eyed look appears on his face, like he couldn't believe that his mom would lie to him about that, especially so much to create a phobia. But, it made sense to him, she's lied before, she treated him like some servant to her.
"You wanna hold her?" You ask him, referring to the dog in your arms.
He quickly shakes his head no, still a little too scared to wanna face his fear. For all he knew, you could've been lying to him.
"That's fine," you softly smile, trying to make him feel comfortable. You could tell he was a bit less tense, but you tried keeping things calm for him. The audible laughter of his friends fills your ears, seeing them practically playing tag with a handful of the dogs. "You don't have dogs on the Isle, do you?"
He shakes his head again.
"Well, feel free to do as you please. I don't think your friends wanna leave anytime soon"
"I don't think so either"
It'd been a while since your first encounter with the new VK's. But, you didn't think they were some delinquents with no hope for a future like others did, they were just misunderstood and needed a chance to succeed.
Carlos, by himself, had come down to your spot one afternoon.
You were occupied with brushing the shed fur off the longer haired dogs, working on a retriever when he entered.
"Hi" He shyly smiles.
You turn back to look at him. "Oh, hey, Carlos!" You smile. "What's up?"
"I don't think dogs are evil anymore"
"Good" You chuckle. "What changed your mind?"
He shrugs. "You"
You roll your eyes, turning back to the retriever to hide the fact your face was heating up.
"You need any help?"
You stop yourself, looking back at him. "If you'd like to"
He smiles, approaching you to help.
"Just hold her paws like this. She likes squirming"
"She's pretty"
"She's got a hell of a coat"
He jumps as the dog barks, wanting out of your grips.
"Calm down, it's almost over"
Carlos was still kinda jumpy with dogs, even after he'd been on the tourney team for nearly a year. You, in honor of his growth with his exposure to his fear, decided to give him a dog to finish his exposure therapy. That was all his idea, you never thought for a second to try and force him to get along with dogs.
But, he wanted to be closer to you, which meant he'd have to get used to the dogs.
To be totally open and honest, he'd quickly developed a crush on you. Crush as in he was totally, completely in love with you.
He adored your soft smiles of encouragement and reassurance, how you were so kind and understanding, how you saw him for who he was. A lot of people assumed that he and his friends were pure evil, not thinking for a moment that maybe since they were raised by and to be villains, that they had things backwards but had grown into good people. You did that for him like how Ben did for Mal, how Doug did for Evie, how Lonnie did for Jay.
He just wanted to love you, to hold you close, and thank you for being truly you.
If he had to admit it, he'd be honest about how he was damn near mortified of you after hearing who your parents were, thinking that you were just like the retelling of your parents in his mother's stories. Thank God you'd exposed him to the true story and proved to him that you weren't some asshole.
He never expected to fall in love with you like this, your stories of the past told in the present, just a little backwards. How funny would it be to explain how your parents were rivals in the past and you'd fallen in love? How ironic.
He knew at least that your parents liked him, he was not planning on introducing you to his mother though, if that ever could've happened. The barrier still being up was the perfect excuse not to.
But, he desperately wanted to ask you a very specific question, something that could really make or break your relationship.
"Do you wanna go to the cotillion with me?"
"Sure" You shrug. "But, I do have a little surprise for you"
"Hm?"
You stop yourselves on the path in the woods. You whistle, causing a dog to sprint up to you from the woods. He stops at your feet, barking at his arrival. You smile, picking him up, handing him to Carlos.
Carlos, confused, looks up at you.
"His name is Dude. Don't ask about that. But he's yours. He needs a home, you're a pretty fit candidate" You smile
Carlos happily pouts. "Why are you?-"
"Because I can" You shrug. "And you've come a long way with your fear. I'm proud of you"
He scratches Dude's ears, a happy smile upon his face. "Thank you?"
"You're welcome"
"I still don't understand how or why you decided that I needed a dog, but I appreciate it"
At the cotillion, you and Carlos, after Uma's final attack, dance in the pool of water together, soaking yourselves while Mal and Ben dance together. Evie and Doug and Jay and Lonnie do as well, eyeing yours and Carlos' looks at each other, like you had hearts in your eyes.
You both jump in the water, splashing each other with it purposefully.
"Stop!" Carlos laughs, picking up a cupped handful of water to splash your face.
"Oh, you're dead!" You giggle, doing the same to him.
"Watch out, lovebirds!" Mal laughs, running past you two as Ben chases her.
"Lovebirds?"
"Do not act oblivious." Evie rolls her eyes playfully. "Just kiss already"

seven minutes in heaven !
you join a 'spin the bottle' game at a party and get paired up with shauna Ò smut & fluff; enemies to lovers, making out, dry humping, cum-filled strap-on use, choking. . .ïč5.1k wcïč
the dim glow of fairy lights strung across lottieâs backyard cast a warm, golden hue over the party. the yellowjackets had won an important game the day before, and as usual, lottieâs parents were out of town, so there was no hesitation about throwing a party to celebrate the win.
you leaned against the wooden fence, holding a red plastic cup filled with something that tasted like a fruit punch spiked with some sort of liquor. you weren't exactly sure what was in it, but you were certain that more than half of the cup was pure alcohol.
your peace was interrupted by an all-too-familiar optimistic voice. "y/n! i've been looking for you," jackie said, grabbing you by the arm and dragging you away from your cozy corner.
"what are you doing?" you asked the blonde girl as she pulled you inside the house.
"we're playing a game," she said with excitement.
"donât tell me itâs spin the bottle," you groaned as you saw people gathering around.
âcome on, y/n, don't make that face,â jackie said, âmaybe tonight's your lucky night,â she added with a wink, making you chuckle.
"alright, everyone! time to play!" she declared, ushering everyone into the living room. of course, she wasnât going to play, being in a relationship with jeff. however, her nosy ass always wanted to be in charge of spinning the bottleâand potentially ruining peopleâs nights, you thought.
in no time, a group of people started sitting in a circle right in front of you. you noticed a bunch of yellow and blue bomber jacket owners gathering around. it was sort of a tradition that after every winning game, if there was a party, the yellowjackets would wear their bomber jackets all night to stand out. the owners of the bomber jackets in the circle were lottie, shauna, melisa, and surprisingly, laura lee. there were other people from school as well, including randy. hesitantly, you sat down between melisa and some random guy.
jackie took the bottle, giving it a vigorous spin. as the bottle spun and slowed down, its neck pointed straight at randy. then, after another spin, it landed on avery, one of the cutest seniors. a big smile lit up randyâs face, and you could practically feel his eagerness from a mile away. however, avery, with tousled hair and captivating, smoky eyes, shot randy a look of disgust. you could tell she wasn't too thrilled. unaware of the girl's reaction, randy stood up, all pumped and ready to head to the closet. you couldn't help but stifle a chuckle, and you noticed shauna letting out a relieved sigh.
"enjoy yourself," lottie teased, giving avery's shoulder a pat, to which she responded by rolling her eyes.
as they made their way to the downstairs closet, jackie spoke to the rest of the group. "okay, guys, brainstorm! what if we send two pairs at a time? it'll make things go quicker," she suggested, and everyone seemed to be on board.
âgreat!â she exclaimed before giving the bottle another spin. this time, though, it landed on you. jackie couldn't hide her excitement; she suppressed her smile and playfully wiggled her eyebrows up and down. âi wonder who the lucky winner will be,â she said before giving it another spin.
the bottle spun again, and you felt your heart sink as it stopped at shauna. you saw her face turn pale, and then red with annoyance. she glared at you as if you had somehow rigged the game.
jackie clapped her hands and squealed. âoh my god, this is perfect! the two most unlikely people to ever hook up.â
"this is gonna be interesting," lottie remarked with a smirk.
jackie seized both of your arms and whisked you towards the stairs. âcome on, you two, donât be shy! itâs just a game, have some fun!â she urged, but your attention was fixated on the irksome sound of laughter and cheering from the others.
you tried to resist, but jackie was too strong and excited. she pushed you and shauna into the upstairs closet and slammed the door behind you. you heard her shout, âseven minutes, starting now!â before her footsteps faded away.
you and shauna stood in the dark, facing each other. you could barely see her outline, but you could feel her hostility. you heard her snort and say, âthis is ridiculous. iâm not going to waste my time with you.â she added, âjust stay away from me and donât touch me.â
you retorted, âfine by me. i donât want anything to do with you either. youâre the last person i would ever kiss.â
she scoffed dismissively. "that's good then. it would be a waste anyway." her words carrying more weight than you anticipated.
shauna leaned against the wall, arms crossed. following suit, you leaned on the opposite side, feeling the bitter tension lingering in the air. you stood in silence for a moment, listening to the faint sounds of partying from below. you both felt uncomfortable, but neither was willing to break the silence.
then, she sighed. âyouâre very annoying,â she muttered under her breath.
"you're not exactly a breeze yourself," you shot back. "not to mention stubborn as hell and fucking rude," you added, unable to restrain yourself.
her lips curled into an exasperated smile. "at least i don't act like i'm too good for everybody. you're the most stuck-up person i've ever met."
âwell, at least i don't live under my best friendâs shadow. when we go downstairs, we should ask jackie for your daily dose of croquettes, you fucking lapdog.â
her eyes narrowed and she glared at you for a moment. âwhat was that?â she asked with a slight growl in her voice.
you stood your ground. âi said that you're a lapdog, bitch,â you enunciated each word with a sharp edge, your frustration boiling over.
shauna's eyes flashed with anger as she lunged forward, grabbing your shirt and forcefully pushing you against the drawer behind you. her hand moved up to your throat, putting just enough pressure to make it hard to breathe. attempting to pull away, you realized she was stronger than you anticipated. her face hovered inches from yours, her gaze intense, as if daring you to make a move.
before you knew it, you were gripping her wrist and pulling her tight against you. she tried to resist but you didn't let up. the closeness of her body, the heat of her breath, was making you light-headed. the smell of her perfume was intoxicating. your breath was short and hard as you stared into her eyes, and you couldn't help but wonder what would happen if you kissed her.
âdon't look at me like that,â she breathed, her voice low and hoarse. you noticed that she was blushing ever so slightly.
"like what?" you whispered back, your breath tickling her skin, making her feel hot and flustered.
"like you want me," she mumbled quietly, a hint of uncertainty in her voice, her breath teasing your skin.
âwho said i did?â you replied nonchalantly, trying to resist the urge to lean in and press your lips against her.
she leaned in slightly closer, her lips just a few centimetres from yours and whispered, âi know you want to.â a few seconds passed in uneasy silence as the tension built between the two of you, the heat from her hand on your neck making you weak.
"fuck it," you muttered under your breath, finally giving in and pressing your lips against hers.
her eyes fluttered shut as you made contact, responding to your kiss as if her life depended on it. she slid her hands to the sides of your face, her fingers threading through your hair and holding you against her. the kiss was bruising and intense as your hearts pounded against each other. your hands found their way to the small of her back, drawing her nearer as you lightly nibbled on her lower lip. it felt like an eternity before you pulled away, both of your breaths laboured, foreheads resting against each other.
âi fucking hate you,â you whispered, peering into her eyes, her grip on your face still firm.
âi hate you more,â she murmured back, almost petulantly, before pulling you into another passionate kiss.
as your lips melded together, she smoothly moved her hands down to your waist, skillfully guiding you to perch on top of the drawer. almost instinctively, you parted your legs, coaxing her to stand right between them. her hands travelled up to your upper thighs, gripping them firmly as her lips trailed a path along your neck, planting open-mouthed kisses all the way to the sensitive skin beneath your ear.
every fibre of your being screamed to touch her, to feel her everywhere. in a desperate attempt to do so, your fingers instinctively traced the outline of her jeans' waistband, gripping it and pulling her closer while wrapping your legs around her. a soft moan escaped your lips as you felt a bulge pressing against your center.
sensing your arousal, she seized one of your wrists, guiding it to her bulge, placing your hand directly over it and giving a good squeeze. "you like that?" she husked, a smirk playing at her lips. you could only respond with a breathless sigh.
encouraged by your reaction, she returned her hands to your upper thighs, holding them even more firmly as she pulled you against her bulge with deliberate, slow motions against your clothed center.
âmmh-â you moaned as you slid your hands under her shirt, fingers digging into her toned abdomen, leaving marks as you held on tight.
her lips captured yours once again, in a slower but equally intense kiss as before. the rhythm of her hips matched the pace of the kiss, her movements deliberate yet forceful against you. as your left fingertips continued to graze her abdomen, your right hand began to tease her chest, slipping beneath her bra. a soft groan escaped her lips at the contact, sending vibrations against your mouth.
growing a little desperate, she paused for a moment, eliciting a groan from you. sliding her hands to your waistline, she started unbuttoning and unzipping your jeans. equally eager, you assisted her by shedding your jeans and letting them cascade to the floor. at the same time, she undid her own jeans, allowing them to pool around her ankles, revealing her standing in nothing but dark red boxers, a strap peeking out.
drawing closer again, she didn't immediately resume her previous movements. instead, she lowered her face and gently rested her left temple against your cheek, her gaze fixated on the silhouette of your lower body.
her hands found a resting place on your thighs, softly caressing the spots where she had left gripping red marks just moments ago. each warm breath against the side of your neck intensified the pulsating sensation at your center. slowly, her hands traveled upward, reaching the hem of your panties, fingers slipping beneath. her index finger played with the fabric, pulling and letting it slap against your skin. the sound echoed slightly denser than cotton, catching her attention. as her fingers lingered against your pelvis, she slowly traced her thumb across the warmth and moisture of your clothed center.
âfuck, youâre so wetâŠâ she whispered against your skin, her eyebrows furrowing, almost whimpering at the thought of being responsible of turning you on like this.
unconsciously, your hips began to move, your center yearning for more than just a lingering touch, but she held back. in your desperation, you pressed her against you with your legs, a sudden move that prompted her to place her hand on the wall for balance. she chuckled at your desperation, and you moaned at the contact of her hard length flush against your wetness.
"okay, okay," she said with a smirk, yielding to your silent pleas as she planted a small kiss on your cheek.
her fingers deftly slid to the hem of your panties, pulling them down and letting them join your discarded jeans. following suit, she lowered her boxers, allowing them to fall gracefully to her ankles.
her body drew closer to yours once more, but this time, one of her hands held her cock, while the other rested on your hip, unconsciously caressing your skin with her thumb. you felt yourself melting into another kiss, her mouth was warm, but her tongue was even hotter, exploring every inch of your mouth.
your breath hitched as you felt the tip of her strap tracing circles around your clit, and a loud groan escaped you as she rubbed her length against your wet folds, maintaining its stiffness with her grip.
âjust put it in already,â you pleaded, the sensations in your core becoming too overwhelming to bear.
shauna's lips curled into a sly smile as she met your gaze. "good things come to those who wait," she quipped as her mouth found its way back to yours once again.
âwhatever, shakespeare,â you breathed out as she continued to tease you, her length slipping against you due to your wetness.
âthat was actually violet fane, a british auââ
âyeah, yeah, shut the fuck up,â you groaned, annoyed at the teasing. you couldn't take it anymore, you slapped her hand away, taking her girth in your hand, surprising her and causing her to lose her balance once more. pulling her closer by it, you aligned her tip with your entrance. she smirked, finding your sudden dominance hot, and she didn't stop you as you used your legs to push her against you, feeling her cock slowly entering and stretching your walls.
your head fell back as she bottomed out inside you, her strap-on so large that you could feel it pressing against your cervix. you slid your hands to her shoulders, gripping her tightly, and she hugged you by the waist, so close that you could feel each other's heartbeats. shauna's fingers wrapped around your hair, gently tugging your face to the side and exposing your soft neck to her mouth. she traced her lips down your neck, her tongue exploring your skin with each kiss. her breaths brushed along your skin as she nibbled at your earlobe and planted teasing little bites along your jawline. with her other hand firmly on your hip, she slowly shifted her hips back and then bottomed out again, falling into a steady rhythm. a soft groan escaped her lips as she felt the strap's rigid back massaging her throbbing clit.
your eyebrows furrowed, and soft moans escaped your lips, lost in the intoxication of her kisses and the steady friction of her length against your tight walls. your hands tightened their grip around her toned shoulders.
shauna lifted her face from your slightly swollen and moist neck, peering into your half-lidded eyes. âyou okay?â she asked with tenderness, her voice low and raspy, her fingers gently caressing the side of your head.
"look at you, who would've thought that all you needed to become a softie was to get laid,â you teased, meeting her gaze and sliding your hands from her shoulders to around her neck, biting down a smile.
she breathed out a chuckle, rolling her eyes. âiâm not a softie, i was just being nice,â she grunted while slowing down her movements.
âi know, iâm just fucking with you,â you said, âiâm okay,â you added, giving her a soft smile to let her know you appreciated her concern.
just as she was resuming her rhythm, you both were interrupted by a glimpse of movement through the slight slit of the closet door. someone was walking past. a moment of frozen silence passed as you both tried to remain still. the person's footsteps faded as they continued down the stairs. you breathed out softly and relaxed, exchanging a glance with shauna.
âshit, that was close,â she whispered, exhaling sharply and slowly letting go of your hair, her other hand still resting gently on your hip.
"yeah, too close," you murmured quietly. âlet's just stay silent,â you suggested.
âgood luck with that,â she replied cheekily before giving you a quick kiss on the lips. she moved both hands down to the middle of your thighs, opening your legs wide and holding them in that position with her palms.
with her thick cock still inside you, but unmoving, she teasingly slid one of her hands towards your center and started to slowly toy with and pinch your swollen clit with her thumb.
âoh, fuââ you began, but she quickly hushed you with her lips, giving you a deep, bruising tongue kiss.
her calloused thumb continued drawing incessant circles around your throbbing nub. by the time your legs started twitching, indicating your urge to close them together, she swiftly returned her hand to its original position on your thigh, keeping them wide open, and began thrusting into you with harsh movements.
despite the tightness of your walls, her cock slid smoothly in and out, coated with your abundant wetness. her hot center pulsed with each firm thrust, pressing against her clitoris. she penetrated you so deeply that you could almost see your belly skin pushing from the outside. each time her tip pushed onto your sensitive spot, your eyes rolled back, and both your moans were muffled by her tongue, which melted against yours.
your arms were wrapped so tightly around her neck that you were almost choking her, your lungs desperate for air but unwilling to let go of her. she momentarily let go of your legs, lifting the white shirt under her flannel and tucking half of it behind her head to keep it out of the way. resuming her rapid thrusts, you could now feel the toned skin of her lower abdomen slapping against your clitoris with each motion.
âenjoying yourself?â she asked breathlessly with a half-smile, her mouth finding its way back to yours once more.
you could only manage a muffled response, unable to form words. you placed your hands under her bra and began to play with her nipples, squeezing her breasts as you pinched them between your fingers.
âmmhâ that feels good,â she husked out, prompting you to pinch her nipples even harder. her movements started to get sloppy, but it felt so good that she was trying her hardest not to cum yet. she removed her hands from your thighs, instead, holding you closer by resting one hand against the top of the drawer next to your thigh, and the other one pushing you closer by wrapping it around your lower back.
you tried to help her by matching her rhythm, moving your hips against hers. sliding your hands to her back, you held her by the shoulder blades for stability. once you had a good grip, you increased your pace against her.
nuzzling her face against the crook of your neck, she maintained her relentless pace. the room echoed with the sounds of her grunts and the slapping of skin as she pounded as hard as she could. it didn't take long before both of you reached climax. with one final, deep thrust, you felt her faux white cum filling you up, and you both rode out your orgasms together. she softly collapsed on top of you, her weight keeping you pressed against the drawer.
loosening your strong hold on her shoulders, you now held her gently as both of you caught your breath.
after a few moments of silence, she gently disengaged from the embrace and stood upright. "we should probably get back nowâŠ" she said, her voice still a little hoarse from all the grunting.
âright,â you replied softly. with that, you slowly got up, stretching out the discomfort in your hips and back. you both dressed in silence and once you were both finished, shauna opened the closet door, motioning for you to go out first.
âlooks like chivalry isnât dead,â you joked awkwardly, making her smile.
the both of you made your way downstairs, and she couldnât help but notice the way you walked, slowly and a little clumsily, causing her to chuckle. upon reaching the bottom, a round of applause greeted you, courtesy of lottie, van, and nat, who were comfortably seated on the couches directly in front of you.
âand now,â van declared, her red cup serving as an improvised megaphone, âi present to everyone the official champions of seven minutes in heaven!â she glanced at lottie, who was busy checking her watch. âbreaking the previous record ofâŠâ van paused dramatically.
âforty-five minutes and thirty-eight seconds,â lottie declared, raising her eyebrows in genuine surprise.
you rolled your eyes at them, trying to hold back the smile tugging at your lips. âlike you didnât sit in that circle just to get into laura leeâs celibate ass pants,â you retorted to lottie.
âfine,â lottie admitted with a grin, âbut letâs not forget who willingly spent over half an hour in the closet with their mortal nemesis,â she defended herself.
van, still using her red cup as a makeshift megaphone, leaned forward with a mischievous grin. "so, shauna, was it everything you dreamed of, or should we recommend a more skilled partner next time?"
shauna narrowed her eyes slightly at van's playful snark. in the past, she wouldâve likely scoffed and rolled her eyes in response, but now, there was a hint of amusement lurking behind them.
"she was okay," she replied nonchanlantly, a smirk on her face as she shot a teasing glance at you. "she's not so bad when she keeps her mouth shut," she joked, making everyone laugh in surprise.
âokay,â you interjected, feeling a bit sheepish with a blush on your face, âiâm heading to the kitchen for some water,â you announced before striding away.
you heard van's voice crackle on with her red cup, "we want all the details later!" she shouted, causing the whole group to burst into laughter, making you grin with embarrassment.
as you made your way towards the kitchen, the party noise faded into the background. you grabbed a glass of water, and while you took a much-needed sip, you heard footsteps approaching.
shauna joined you by the sink, grabbing a glass of water and taking a sip before turning to look at you. her eyes met yours and lingered for a moment before she spoke.
"so," she began as she leaned against the counter, âjeffâs taking jackie home tonight. do you need a lift home?â she asked, her big eyes staring at you attentively.
âoh, donât worry about it,â you stammered nervously, âi can just tag along with lottie or tai.â
âi donât mind, really,â she insisted, her dark eyes lingering on your lips before meeting your gaze again. you felt your heart pounding in your chest. the way she was looking at you was making it hard to think straight, and your body was getting all warm and tingly.
âwellââ you began, but before you knew it, she approached you and gently took hold of your chin. drawing you closer, her lips met yours. they were tender yet firm, and your breath was steady as you whispered, âi wouldnât mind either.â
you allowed her to lead the kiss, her tongue making deliberate moves between your lips. her hands cradled the back of your head, fingers entwining in your hair as she drew her body closer to yours.
a soft whimper escaped you, arms wrapping around her waist. the heat inside you intensified as your bodies pressed together. her tongue explored your mouth, breath growing heavy as she tugged at the hem of your shirt. shauna lifted her leg slightly, wrapping her thigh around yours to pull you even closer. urgency filled her movements, her pulse quickening, and her breath became shallow. suddenly, she pulled away, looking up. âmaybe we should go,â she whispered, her breath catching momentarily as her heart thumped against her chest.
âyeah, we should,â you mumbled, still dazed by the intensity of the kiss. your brain was foggy, struggling to process what had just happened.
exiting the party, the two of you strolled towards the car. shauna opened the front seatâs door and motioned for you to get in. you took a quick glance at the other guests, but luckily, none of your friends seemed to be paying attention to you two. you climbed into the passenger seat, and shauna closed the door behind you.
it was quiet inside the car, only shaunaâs soft music played. she glanced your way from time to time, a teasing glint in her big eyes. you couldnât help but notice her gaze, and a smile crept across your face as your heart beat faster. each exchange seemed to thicken the air, causing your cheeks to burn.
approaching your destination, shauna slowed down. the road became dark outside the car, the streetlights casting a dim glow over the pavement, which turned into the driveway. she brought the car to a halt and turned to face you. you sat there, waiting for her to say something, but neither one of you spoke. her big dark eyes were fixed on yours, her expression soft and curious.
"um, soâŠ" you mumbled, looking down for a moment before meeting her gaze again. âthanks for the ride,â you said.
"yeah, anytime," she replied softly, her eyes lingering on yours a moment longer before refocusing on the road ahead. taking a deep breath, she cleared her throat, adjusting her grip on the wheel as you reached for the door handle.
"wait," shauna intervened before you could open the door. gently grabbing your arm, she turned you towards her. warm eyes locked onto yours, and her breath seemed to catch as she sought the right words. you couldn't help but notice the soft, delicate features of her face and the way her eyes seemed to glimmer with affection. "i was wonderingâŠ" she began, her voice soft and unsure. the tension in the air heightened as her words hung there. "can i call you sometime?" her voice was barely a whisper, and her gaze seemed shy.
"i- yeah, of course," you replied softly, feeling your heart skip a beat as you gave her a soft smile. you had never imagined this kind of interaction with her, but now that it was happening, it felt right.
"how about this weekend?" she asked with a hopeful smile.
"yeah, i'd like that," you responded, giving her a gentle nod. shauna's face lit up, and she gently squeezed your hand before unlocking the car doors.
exiting the car, you bid shauna goodnight and made your way into your house, the sound of her car fading as you closed the front door behind you. racing upstairs, you burst into your room and leaped onto your bed, burying your face in the pillow.
you lay there for a few minutes with our heart was racing, feeling butterflies fluttering all over as you replayed the nightâs events in your head.
finally, you rolled over onto your back, allowing yourself a moment to catch your breath. however, your peace was soon interrupted by a tapping sound at your window.
you sat up immediately, surprised by the sudden noise. you cautiously walked toward it to check what it was.
as you got closer to the window, you could see shauna, leaning against the fence below it, her hands stuffed in the pockets of her jacket. you noticed that her face was upturned to your direction, eyes fixed on you, her breath fogging the glass.
without thinking twice, you scrambled to open the window. "what are you doing here?" you asked, meeting her eyes.
for a moment, she didn't respond, her cheeks flushed and her breathing steadying. yet, her gaze remained focused on you, and her mouth had curled into a small smile. "i wanted to see you one more time before the night is over," she answered, her voice soft. "mind if i come up?" she added.
you replied instantly, "yeah, sure, come on up."
as she climbed the exterior walls of your house, you took a deep breath and opened the window wide enough for her to enter. upon reaching the window frame, she met your gaze, your faces inches apart.
"you could have just knocked on the front door, you know?" you teased, biting down a smile.
shauna shrugged, feeling a little embarrassed. "can't a girl be romantic anymore?" she quipped with a smirk.
"oh, is that what this is?" you mocked, giving her a teasing look. "you breaking into my window in the middle of the night? romantic wouldâve been knocking on the front door with flowers."
"i don't know, climbing up the building, clinging to a fence, and sneaking into your window seemed pretty romantic to me," shauna replied with a smirk, her hands gripping the window edges.
"shauna, i live in a one-story house," you chuckled softly.
"well, my point still stands," she playfully retorted, rolling her eyes at you. "and your windows are abnormally high, my arms are aching," she added.
âoh, sorry,â you said, stepping aside for her to enter.
"itâs fine," she replied, stepping inside. however, her footing slipped, and she tumbled onto you, sending both of you into laughter as you landed on the floor.
you sensed her warm breath near your neck, her hair gently brushing against your face. your bodies were close, and her arms wrapped around your waist. you couldn't help but notice how close she was, and how good she felt against you. her deep eyes looked up at you, her lips forming a slight smile. gazing back at her, you timidly slid your hand across the floor until it found hers, intertwining your fingers. she locked her hands with yours, and both of you held the gaze for what seemed like an eternity.
"can i kiss you?" she whispered, her eyes searching yours for the answer.
your heart raced, and your blood rushed through your veins.
"yes," you replied softly, and she leaned in, placing her hands on your cheeks as her lips met yours.
your lips parted as she kissed you softly, her lips tender and soft. it was nothing like the fierce way she had kissed you at the party. her tongue explored your mouth with deft and practiced movements, and as you pulled her closer, she leaned into you, holding you tightly.
as you pulled away, your lips were aching to feel her again. âstay the night?â you asked her.
her soft, dark eyes locked onto yours, her breath quickened and her cheeks flushed slightly. you held each other's gaze until she finally spoke.
"iâd love that."

RattenfÀnger of Belobog
RattenfÀnger (rat catcher) is the german word for the pied piper. I loved this fairy tale when I was a kid. Part of me just wanted to draw Sampo as the Pied Piper because I really love both characters but the more I thought about it the more I realized how well Sampo fits into the role as the Pied Piper. The story of the Pied Piper is that there was once a town plagued with never ending amounts of rats and then one day a mysterious figure approaches the gates of the town, proclaiming he could get rid of this plague but of course for a price. The townspeople at first don't believe him making fun of the colorfully dressed man, however after he pulls out his flute and starts playing a melody so beautiful that all the rats crawl out of their hiding spots. The townspeople, struck with awe, quickly step aside letting the man walk out of the town taking all the rats with him, leading them to a river where they all drown. After making his way back he is denied his payment, he walks away proclaiming that they made an enemy of him. The townspeople ignore the angry man and go back to their lifes. Then at night a beautiful tune dances through the streets of the town. The next day the adults discover that all the children are gone.
So how does Sampo fit into this? Just like the Pied Piper, Sampo is an alien where we meet him. His story, history and powers are all completely shrouded in mystery.
He makes deals with others but from what we've seen he's not really clear with the payment itself. (yes, he does stuff for money but I don't remember if it's ever said how much. Also why would he even need the money of the people of Belobog? Shields have no value outside of Jarilo VI and he doesn't seem like a character who if he can't afford something wouldn't just steal it.) Also more often than not his payment can be as simple as to be introduced to other people, so in that respect he's also very nebulous. Anyways aside from that he is also incredibly charismatic and even though people don't trust him they end up still making deals with him because more often than not he's the only one who can help.
One more thing, are either one of these characters good? The Pied Piper helped the town, he got rid of a devastating and dangerous plague and he would have never done what he did if the townspeople would have paid him, however he did go too far. And with Sampo it's also not simple. Yes he helped with the stellaron crisis however we don't actually know why he helped. He seems to be interested in the survival of Belobog but it's never said why. If it was truly only to entertain the tavern then why would he be protective over the planet (keeping Sparkle from going there). Aside from that he is a criminal organizing heists, stealing, smuggling and scamming and maybe even more who knows. My point is that both characters will do things first and foremost for their own benefit and even though both are not opposed to helping people it's just that neither of them are altruists.

{Pairing: Virgin College Student Jay x Blk Succubus Fem! Reader
{Synopsis: Jay didnât take his best friendâs words seriously when he said âif you write your name on a piece of paper and leave a sample of your blood on it, a sex demon will come and fuck you that same nightâ So you come and show him that succubus are far from being a myth.
{Genre: smut, supernatural themes, Jay is a bit of an a introvert, Jake as his best friend, reader doesnât kill her victims she just puts them in a deep sleep afterwards, 18+ so mdni!!!

Itâs Saturday evening and Jay is doing what he usually does on his weekends, which is play video games with his best friend Jake and eat a bunch of junk food. Jay has never been the type to go out and party on the weekends, instead he prefers to be in the comfort of his own home hidden away from the outside world. Unlike Jake who is guaranteed to be seen at every frat party hosted to mankind.
ăâ
Jay rolls his eyes at his best friendâs loud obnoxious laughter that fills his headset, he curses under his breath when his character dies for the 20th time.
âDude you really fucking suck at this game you know that right?â Jake says in a mocking playful tone.
âShut the fuck up bro, I got a new keyboard I gotta break it inâ Jay defends himself taking a big sip of his cherry cola.
Jay goes to start up another game when suddenly he hears Jakeâs phone ping continuously with notifications causing him to groan in annoyance at the sound.
âDude could you please silence that shit, itâs driving me insaneâ he rolls his eyes once again as he starts shooting down enemies paying attention to the game on the big monitor screen.
âYouâre just not used to hearing any notifications come through your phone because you got no bitches on your dickâ Jake says sarcastically and in a fit of laughter.
âHaha very hilarious Jakeâ Jay bites back with a tinge of annoyance.
âSeriously Park, donât you think itâs about time you bone something I mean dude youâre 22 years oldâ Jake says half joking as he shoots down another enemy.
âI mean itâs not like I havenât thought about it, itâs like every time I get past the first stage and get the girl to my apartment and I tell her Iâm a virgin next minute sheâs storming out the door with disappointmentâ Jay said a little bit embarrassed scratching the back of his neck.
âThatâs the problem bro, donât tell them youâre a virgin of course theyâre going to kick your ass to the curbâ Jake snorts and curses under his breath when the enemyâs sniper takes him down.
âFuck no, and make them think Iâm a bad fuck I rather keep whacking my shit myselfâ Jay said with a tinge of sarcasm leaning back in his chair to stretch his limps.
âFirst of all didnât need to know that, 2nd of all I mean thereâs always sex workers thatâs more than willingâ Jake said wiggling his eyebrows up and down at the video camera and chuckling.
âYeah no, Iâm not that desperate asshole I wonât stoop that lowâ Jay rolls his eyes at his friends crazy suggestion.
âHow about you summon the Pussy Fairy maybe she could help you outâ Jake laughs out loud logging off the game as he starts scrolling on his phone probably checking his notifications that was going off nonstop.
âBro what are you even saying, thereâs absolutely no such thing as a Pussy Fairy where did you even get that shit from?â Jay snickers and questions his best friend I mean who the fuck would believe in such crazy myth.
âWell you know my roommate Heeseung right? Well apparently thereâs some type of ritual he did when he was virgin and a sex witch bitch came and fucked the living hell out of him, his words not minesâ Jake shrugged his shoulders spinning around in his gaming chair.
âBro well guess what, Heeseung is full of shit because thereâs no such thing as witches and warlocks let alone a sex witchâ Jay spits out chuckling to himself and shaking his head.
âWell supposedly all he did was light some candles form them in a circle, and then he got a piece of paper wrote his name on it and put a sample of his blood on it and chanted something five times along the lines of come to me, my body is yours, yours to feed, yours to want, and yours to fuck. Oh wait he also described what type of race, body type and personality he wants his sex fairy to beâ Jake nods as he stands up grabbing his phone taking it with him to the kitchen.
âSo you mean to tell me if I go full on Bonnie Bennett, a sex demon is gonna come and strip me of my virginity?! You gotta be kidding me Simâ Jay said not really believing anything his friend is saying, heâs never been the type to believe in supernatural stuff, let alone demons and angels.
âLook, I donât know if what he was saying was true but all I know is the day he told me he was gonna do it, he woke up with scratches and bite marks on his chest and neck, and to top it off he slept for hours dudeâ Jake said taking a hand full of chips and popping them in his mouth smacking loud and obnoxious.
Jay cringes at the sound of his smacking âYou got got proof? If so then I might just believe youâ Jay said finding himself a lot more curious about this whole thing then he usually gets when something intrigues him.
âIn fact I doâ Jake hurries and presses on Heeseungâs contact to pull up their messages, he saves the pictures that Heeseung took of his body and sends it to Jays phone.
âAttachment Sent*
âDid you get itâ Jake asks impatiently as he takes another handful of chips in his mouth.
Jayâs breath gets caught in his throat when he sees the bitemarks and scratches on Heeseungs body. He zooms in on the bitemarks on his neck and it looks like whatever or whoever did this to him had to have some pretty sharp teeth. This canât be real right it has to be photoshopped right? RIGHT?!
âFuck man, it looks like Dracula got to him look at shape of the teeth marksâ Jay said in disbelief still staring at the pictures.
âWell you go ahead and play detective, Iâm gonna go and meet my hot date Iâll catch ya later broâ before Jay can protest Jake hangs up the phone leaving Jay in his thoughts.
ăâ
The rest of the evening Jay finds himself replaying Jakeâs words and the pictures of Heeseung in his head. He wonders if he truly was able to summon a sex demon and have the best fuck of his life. He sits up in his bed, smacking on his face telling himself to snap out of it but nothing seems to calm his racing thoughts on whether this theory is true.
âOh what am I even thinking right now, itâs obviously a big joke thereâs no such things as witches and sex demons I really gotta be out of my mind I almost fell for that shitâ Jay said out loud to himself trying to convince himself to stop thinking about it.
But he canât stop thinking about it, in fact heâs even stop trying to tell himself not to think about it and thatâs how he finds himself digging through his apartment storage closet trying to find any spare candles he might have and to his luck he finds 4 candles. He grabs his notebook ripping a blank white page from it, he grabs his case of supplies and pulls out a paper clip.
As he starts to form the candles, he recalls Jakeâs words saying his roommate formed them in a circle so he does just that. He jogs to the kitchen opening his cabinet to find his matches pulling them out. He brings the matches over to the circle and signs to himself when he slides the match against the scratchy back of the box causing the match to ignite. He leans down to light the candles one by one, the glow from the flame illuminating his face and the heat of it causing his forehead to start sweating.
âWell here goes nothing, I guess I should probably clear my web browser and lock my account since I possibly might die tonightâ he said out loud to himself again. âPsst who am I kidding, of course this isnât going to work Iâm just going to do this stupid ritual to prove to Jake that Heeseung story he made up is bunch of bullshitâ at this point heâs full on talking to himself, trying to calm his nerves and the anxiety thatâs building up in his body. He grabs a pen from his desk and places the piece of paper on the floor leaning his body as he starts to write on the paper.
Jay would never probably come out openly and say this but he has a big attraction to Black women. As a Korean man growing up with Korean parents he was always taught to not date outside of his race but that didnât stop Jay from secretly crushing on Black girls from afar.
His browser history consists of ebony porn and his hidden gallery is full of nude pictures of his favorite Black pornstars. Jay remembers the first time he felt an attraction to a Black female. It was in the 8th grade, Jay had a huge crush on a girl named Brianna Jones.
Brianna was Jays first love and also first kiss but due to fear of his disappointing his parents he broke up with her, shattering his and hers heart. So thatâs how Jay finds himself writing down a description of a Black female with beautiful brown skin, curvy hips with a nice big ass, big tits, and a dominate personality.
As he finishes writing on the paper, he takes the paper clip and pricks his index finger hissing at the light sting. He lets some of the blood drip onto his name and some on the description of his sex demon.
Jay takes a deep breath as he sits inside the circle, he starts to say the same exact chanting words that Heeseung said, still not fully convinced as the words roll off his tongue nonchalantly. He lets the words fall from his mouth for the 5th time and suddenly the candles that were once lit suddenly blew out leaving his living room pitch dark.
Jay looks around frantically starting to freak out and thatâs when he starts to feel dizzy like heâs going to pass out. Jay struggles to stand up stumbling backwards as he starts to lose consciousness and then boom everything goes black and heâs out like a light.
ăâ
When Jay regains consciousness, he feels his head pounding and his ears ringing. He groans rubbing his head looking around his room puzzled and then it hits him, how did he end up in his room when the last time he remembered he was in his living room.
Jay looks down to see that heâs half naked, shirtless with only his boxers on. Jay can then feel this eerie feeling floating around his room almost like heâs not alone, like heâs being watched and thatâs when he hears a soft giggle echoe around his room sounding far but yet so close and chills run down his spine.
âW-Whoâs there?â Jay lets out a shaky breath looking around his room helplessly and thatâs when he sees a dark mist surrounding his bed. The only thought left in his head is fight or flight, he decides on flight as he jumps up from his bed trying to get away and suddenly heâs being pushed back down onto his bed.
His eyes widened when a figure appears in front of him, straddling his lap. Jay gulps when he takes in the sight of you, clad in purple lingerie showing off all your curves, your beautiful brown skin has a glow radiating from it, and your cleavage is spilling out of your bra.
âWhatâs wrong pretty boy, cat got your tongue?â Your lips curl up into a wicked smile as you run your fingertips slowly down his chest stopping at the waistband of his Calvin Klein boxers.
âW-Where did you come from and who are you?â Jay manages to spit out shaky, anxiety and arousal building up all at once from the pressure of your body on top of his.
âThe nameâs Y/n, and you summoned me here naughty boyâ you giggle playfully, tucking your bottom lip between your teeth when your hands meets his growing bulge gently palming him through his boxers.
Jayâs body shudders and his hips bucks up unintentionally as he feels your soft hand palming his half erect cock.âi donât know what you mean i-i didnât summon you fuck! I- pleaseâ jay says breathlessly trying to keep his composure and thatâs when it all comes together.
As he takes time to get a good look at you. He scans your face and body and it all makes sense to him now. You look exactly how he wrote you, your thick juicy thighs covering his, your voluptuous breast sitting pretty on your chest and your dominant nature is causing him to feel weak in the knees and his erection to grow harder.
âFinally figured out huh there baby boy? You didnât think us succubus were real didnât you?â You coo at his shocked facial expression causing you to clench around nothing. Virgins were your favorite ones to prey on, always so pathetic and eager.
âSo hereâs how this is going to work Park Jongseong, youâre going to give me as much semen as I want, while in return I take away your pathetic little virginity got it?â You lean down to look him in the eyes meeting his intense gaze feeling your arousal starting to leak through your purple thong.
âP-Please touch me Iâll do whatever you want me to do just please make me feel goodâ Jay whimpers when he feels your wet muscle licking the shell of his earlobe. His cock twitches in the confines of his boxers begging to be released.
âMmm looks like someone is eager arenât you baby boy, donât worry mommyâs going to take such good care of youâ You smirk as you slide your body down his to reach his clothed bulge. You yank his boxers down causing his thick girthy dick to spring out, hitting his abdomen smearing precum over it.
âFuck baby, what a huge cock you have mhm mommy going to have so much fun with this, I can tell your balls are full of your delicious creamy milk and Iâm willing to take it allâ you start to leave kitty licks on his angry red tip that leaks continuously with his clear essence. Jays body jerks violently from the feeling of your warm wet tongue on his sensitive tip.
âNgh! Fuck mommy feels so good keep goingâ he grips your hair into a makeshift ponytail guiding your movements, you bob your head up and down hollowing your cheeks taking more of his length down your little throat.
You can feel his thick cock pulsating with pleasure as you continue to deep throat as much of his length as you can, you stroke whatever rest of him you canât fit in your mouth causing him to let out deep groans and mostly high pitched whiny moans. Drool and his pre cum drips down your chin as you continue to suck him sloppy.
âFuck fuck fuck thatâs it- nghhhh Iâm gonna cum Iâm gonna-â you now focus on sucking hard on his red leaky tip, as his cock twitches uncontrollably. you can feel his body heating up and hips bucks up unintentionally causing his length to slide deep down your throat.
Before you know it, he releases his creamy essence down your throat, completely emptying his load into your mouth, as if your mouth was a dumpster but thatâs what you are his little cum dump.
âFuuckkkâ Jay curses loudly when you continue sucking him, helping him prolong his climax. His chest heaves up and down as he tries to catch his breath. Already feeling drained from the hardest orgasm heâs ever had in his life, Jay understands now why his friends said a blowjob is the best way to blow your load, and theyâre totally right because his hand couldnât compare to your beast of a mouth.
âDonât pass out on me just yet pretty boy we havenât even got to the best part yetâ you pout and coo at his fucked out expression, heâs so pathetic for feeling worn out from a little ole blowjob but that only makes you more excited to drain his body of itâs energy and ride him until the next morning.
You stand up from the bed as you start to strip out of your clothing, you decide to give him a little show as you slide the thin straps of your purple nightgown down your shoulders in the most seductive way. Jay stares at you with an intense expression full of lust and affection causing your parties to grow wetter.
You let the gown fall to floor leaving your chest bare to his eyes, you slowly shimmy out of your panties being completely naked now. You crawl back up onto the bed seductively until youâre straddling his lap again. You can feel his hard on poking your wet dripping core, you let out a whimper when you start to ground your warm wet pussy on his thick cock. Jay throws his head back as he lets out deep groans feeling your hot arousal where he needs you the most.
âFuck Jay your cock is so hard, does mommy pussy feel good teasing your pathetic huge dickâ you let out loud moans when his tip rubs against your clit causing your body to shudder violently.
âOh my god mommy yes feels so good, please let me put it in, fuck wanna be inside your tight pussyâ Jay bucks up his hips to meet your grinding ones causing you to let out a whimper. When his tip prods at your dripping hole, growing impatient to feel his thick cock inside your guts you finally rise your hips up as you start to slowly sink down on his throbbing length.
The stretch is overwhelming being that Jay is the biggest cock you ever taken. You can feel his cock filling your gummy walls whole, causing your insides to clench violently. On the other hand Jay feels like heâs going to pass out any minute from the feeling of your warm tight wet pussy wrapping snuggly around his cock.
He grips the sheets so roughly his knuckles turn a shade of white. He holds your hips in place as you finally take all of him inside you, your legs start to shake uncontrollably as you allow yourself to adjust to his size. You can feel his cock twitching and pulsating as you cock warm him. Finally when the pain turns into pleasure you start to slowly rock back and forth on him, you gasp voice trembling with ecstasy from the delicious drag of his cock.
âOh fuck! Holy shit youâre so tight- Nghhâ Jayâs hips bucks up to meet the rhythm you have set causing his body to arch off the bed when he feels your tight pussy clenching around his throbbing sex. His words seem to spur you on as you start to ride him faster, causing the bed to creak and the headboard to slam against the wall furiously.
The scent of sex, your loud moans and his deep grunts, and the sound of your hips slamming down against his, fills his room completely, in the back of his head heâs hoping his neighbors canât hear whatâs going on but thatâs almost impossible from the way youâre riding the living hell out of him. You bounce on him like thereâs no tomorrow, your sticky essence drips down your thighs onto his stomach. He hisses at the squelching sounds of your creamy pussy abusing his weeping cock.
âFuck baby boy, dick so good fuuuckk cock so big you gonna make me cum goddamnitâ the drag of his 8-inch cock plunges so deep into you, you feel his tip abusing your cervix. You scream to the top of your lungs when he grips your waist pulling you down on him, thrusting his hips upwards. Your eyes roll to the back of your head as he sets a brutal pace, feeling nothing but pleasure and lust.
âAh f-fuck! Iâm not gonna last long shit Iâm gonna bustâ Jay lets out whiny moans as he feels your cunt clenching for what seems like the 100th time. The tempo of your bodies meeting is insane and almost primal, Jay fucks up and looks down to see where your sweaty bodies are connecting and thatâs what sends him into a frenzy as his body shudders nonstop.
His orgasm hitting him like a tidal wave, letting out a guttural moan as his thick spurts of cum fills up your womb. Your eyes roll to the back of your head, your legs shaking dangerously from the feeling of his warm cum filling up your insides.
The overwhelming feeling of being stuffed full, makes you lose control over your body as your wings spring out on their own. Jayâs eyes widened at the sight of them, reality hitting him that heâs fucking a sex demon.
You continue to ride him lost in the feeling of his thick cock hitting all the right spots. Pleasure takes over Jayâs body once again as he lets out a whimper from the feeling of you riding him hard. Overstimulation hitting him wildly, his body feels numb and his ears are ringing as a wave of heat washes over his body.
Jayâs rough hand grips on your plump asscheek while the other one fondles one of your juicy boobs. Out of curiosity Jay goes to touch one your wings, lightly squeezing it. Like time freezes you let out a loud high pitched scream, the feeling is almost unbearable, your body feels fuzzy and the band in your stomach threatening to snap any minute.
âNo, No No please not there I-i canât take it, it feels so good gonna squirtâ You scratch at his chest with your long acrylics. Jay hisses at the sting of your nails digging into his skin. He continues to caress both of your wings and just like that the band in your stomach snaps causing you to squirt all over Jay and ruin his perfectly white sheets.
You collapsed on top of him, panting as you try to calm down from your high, Jayâs chest heaves up and down as holds you tight against him caressing your back. You look up to meet his gaze, he looks at you with such a fucked out facial expression and half lidded eyes. You giggle and smirk as you can tell heâs fighting to stay awake.
Jay can feel himself drifting into a slumber and then boom he blacks out as the darkness consumes him again. You coo at his cuteness wishing he had more energy in him so you could play with him some more.
Just like a flash of lightning your energy is back like it never left. You kiss Jay on the cheek one last time before you have to return back to your place in the deep pits of the darkness and just like that you disappear in thin air.
You leave your purple lingerie discarded on Jayâs floor, which is strictly forbidden for a succubus to leave any trance of their existence for their victims to find but you have a feeling you will be retuning back to visit Jay really soon and for him heâs worth the risk.
The next morning~
Jay wakes up with a pounding headache and his body aches like a bitch. He goes to stretch his limps but hisses at the sharp pain of what seems like to be scratches on his chest. He stands up from his bed, wiping the sleep away from his eyes as he makes his way to his bathroom. He flips on the light switch and his breath hitches when he sees multiple scratch wounds surrounding his chest.
The memories of last nightâs affairs hits him all at once, he scurries back into his room and thatâa when he spots the purple lingerie laying in the middle of his floor. Jay quickly grabs his phone along with the lingerie. He opens his camera and snaps a picture of the lingerie. He then makes his way back to bathroom as he snaps pictures of the scratches on chest and his disheveled appearance. He opens Jakeâs contact and sends him the attachments.

--
The dimly lit backroom of the nightclub throbbed with the heavy beat of music, but you felt far removed from the revelry. You leaned against the cool bar, a glass of whiskey untouched in front of you, your thoughts consumed by the man who dominated your heartâand your fears.
Loki, the cunning and enigmatic head of the Midgardian crime syndicate, had drawn you into his dangerous world with his charm and dark allure. But as you watched him from across the room, surrounded by his loyal men, the weight of his unspoken warnings echoed in your mind: âLove is the greatest weakness.â
You had always dismissed his words, thinking they were merely part of his playful banter. But now, seeing him strategize with his crew, you realized how true they were. His world was built on betrayal and bloodshed, and the moment you had stepped into it, you had become a targetâa pawn in a deadly game.
As if sensing your gaze, Loki turned and caught your eye, a smirk forming on his lips. He walked toward you, confidence radiating from him like an intoxicating perfume. âAh, my dear,â he said, leaning against the bar, his voice smooth as silk. âYou look like youâre lost in thought. Care to share?â
You met his gaze, a mixture of love and fear swirling inside you. âIâm just worried about you, Loki. This life⊠itâs dangerous. Youâre playing a game that could get you killed.â
He chuckled, but there was an edge to his laughter. âAnd you think your concern changes anything? This is who I am. You knew that when you stepped into my world.â
âMaybe I didnât fully understand,â you admitted, the weight of your emotions pressing down on you. âBut I love you, and it terrifies me. You could lose everything.â
His smile faltered, a flicker of something dark crossing his features. âLove is a weakness, you know. It clouds your judgment. It can make you vulnerable to those who would use it against you.â
You took a step closer, the desperation in your heart pushing you forward. âBut it doesnât have to be that way! We could have something real. You donât have to do this alone.â
He straightened, the playful facade slipping away, replaced by the cold, calculating kingpin you had come to fear. âI canât allow you to be a part of this, darling. It puts you in danger.â
âLokiâŠâ you pleaded, your voice shaking. âYouâre pushing me away. Donât you see that? Iâm not afraid of your worldâI want to be with you, no matter what.â
His eyes darkened, and for a moment, you could see the internal struggle etched across his face. âAnd what if I fail? What if my enemies find out what you mean to me? You would become a target, and I wonât let that happen.â
âThen let me fight beside you,â you urged. âLet me be your strength, not your weakness.â
He shook his head, the pain in his expression cutting you deeper than any knife. âYou donât understand the kind of people I deal with. Love only makes you weak. I canât risk your safety for the sake of my own desires.â
âIs that really how you feel?â you asked, your heart breaking. âYou think that loving you would make me weak? Iâd face anything for you, Loki.â
He stepped back, the distance between you feeling insurmountable. âYou donât know what youâre asking. This isnât a fairy tale. I live in a world of chaos and blood. I canât afford to care for anyoneâespecially not you.â
Your breath caught in your throat, a lump forming as you fought back tears. âSo this is it? Youâre choosing your empire over me?â
âChoosing?â he spat, frustration lacing his tone. âIâm trying to protect you! If you love me, youâll understand why I must do this.â
âLove shouldnât be a burden,â you said, voice trembling. âI want to be there for you. I want to share this life, the good and the bad.â
âLove is a burden in my world,â he countered, his voice cold and distant. âAnd you deserve a life free from this chaos, not tangled in the web of my mistakes.â
Silence enveloped you both, heavy with the weight of unfulfilled promises and unspoken fears. Finally, he turned away, walking toward the shadows of the club, leaving you standing alone, heart shattered.
âLokiâŠâ you whispered, but your voice was lost in the pulsating music.
You were left with the bitter truth of his words echoing in your mind: love was indeed a weakness, a vulnerability he couldnât afford. And as you stood there, feeling the emptiness of his absence, you realized that while he feared the strength of love, it was the very thing that would have saved him.
But in his world, darkness reigned, and you were just a flicker of lightâtoo fragile to survive.

My Love, Mine all mine -Simon 'Ghost' Riley
Based on a request:
"Broken men know who to love, but not how to love. Broken women know how to love, but not who to love." This is so Simon related đ„șđ„ș
---- F!Reader, fluff ----
A/N: Because he isn't always some tough masked solider, he is a man with wounds and a life beyond the battle field
It wasn't a shared feeling, he knew that well. You and he had stayed up and talked about a future like you had a clue. He knew your issues, love isn't what you want at times, you miss it, want it, but sometimes just at times, you can't give in to it, in fear of something greater that you don't know about. The smoke of his cigarette gave his not-so-secret hiding spot away. "Better not ask for my jumper again, doll," he knew you were there, knew those steps all too well. You chuckle, "You have to be some superhero," you sit beside him. He shrugs, "Just a mere mortal," he smiles. Silence between you two, speaking the words lips fail to say.
Simon knew you he was meant to love you, but not ever meant to show it. And just as he was about to speak, you rested your head on his shoulder. Classic way to ask for his jumper because you once again forgot your own. "No, not this time, I'm sick today," he excuses. "What if I get sick?" you ask and he chuckles. "You can never get sick darling, remember New Year's Day last year?"Â
It was cold, wind and snow surrounded you and he walked to you. The night died down rather quickly, lovers kissing inside as you walked in the snow. Thirteen years of knowing the other, he knew you too well, you want to avoid the romance, avoid the cliche and have something different, but not all can be unique. You know well, he knows too, you turn around, "Go back inside, Si, you'll get sick." He shakes his head. "What, you're telling me you won't take care of me, love?" He gets closer to you, a little pout as he gives you his puppy eyes. "Don't do that, Simon." He smirks. "Doing what, all I'm saying is, why not let me be here with you and just shit-talk all those people who might invite us to their baby showers?" You laugh. "I'm wearing blue," you comment he rolls his eyes. "No way you'll make me wear pink," he shakes his head. You ignore it, knowing a baby shower would come within nine to ten months from your friends.Â
He knows you. He just doesn't know if he can ever love you. In this world, a man like him isn't guaranteed a happy ending. Maybe a cut to the throat, death in a dark place, bullets blazing as his body takes its last breaths, that is a guaranteed end. Nothing in this world belongs to him, not even the knife he carries. "I almost got sick," you recall. "Keyword is almost," he looks at the skyline. "So, what is new?" he looks over to you. "Same old story." It was mad, to know he can be the man who loves you unconditionally. You could stab him in the back a million times and a million times he would thank you for doing it. Love works in different ways, his love is dark and deep but real. You could break his heart, expose him to the world, turn him into his enemy, kill him over and over, and each time, he would say he loves you.
It's a dark and twisted fairy tale to love him, but it's love that no one can take from him. He can tell you he loves you over and over, but you would still ask him if it was true. You can kiss him, care for him, hug him in days or nights when he is the most vulnerable, burn the world and watch it fall apart for him, only to have him think it's all foolery. One hug, one kiss, and he would still question what love is. The meaning displayed in your eyes, the feeling displayed in his gaze but neither are too brilliant to take a step and claim what the poets oh so need to see. You are conflicted, getting your heart broken over and over by many lovers, asking and crying to the starry nights what is so wrong with you.
Do you love too much, do you care too much? What if it's you and not them? What then? Simon, the cold stare to the passers and the soft gaze to you. R/N, the confused lover with issues and questions that one man's lips hold the answers to. One New Year's Day, one whisper of a truthful 'I love you,' two hearts, one bed, tears and promises. What makes love is not what others perceive it as. Not for a soldier, not for a civilian who questions all her love. At dinner with friends, questions were asked of when either would settle down like the others did, not knowing the answer was right at that table. Simon and R/N, are two complicated hearts that beat for one reason. To live. But those two words can be more than just a basic meaning.
One stormy night, knock on the door and he opens, shirtless and with hope. "Hi," your hoarse voice is too soft. He opens his arms and you run to them. Antidote, what a soldier like him found in that night when he promised he would be more than just a soldier but a man who loves a woman. A woman who cries in his arms as she gets heartbroken again. Boyfriends, thinking they are better than a true woman who all she wants to do is love and care. Something a soldier like him looks for in the dark. "They don't know what they lost, dear," he kisses the top of your head as he holds you close to him. He is done trying to find reasons to not love you.
You are tired of not finding enough excuses to call him home. Your home. His home. An embrace of a man who all he wants to do is protect the last thing on this earth to love him. It was a shared feeling, you both know that well. It is believed that since the creation of our universe, our galaxy, the dust that made us, always tries to find a way back to its other half. And, as he holds you close, two hearts, under one roof, he finds home, and you find home too. It's not about what piece is broken but what is still there. It's not about love or who or how to love.
Sometimes, love is not just a kiss, sex and a caress. Love is sometimes about waking up late morning, hair all messy, bodies tangled with the sheets and a burst of lazy laughter as you realise your lipstick is all over his face. Love is respect, honesty, trust, happiness, fun, and him, holding you near as he watches you cry over something small. Love is about being imperfect, flawed, broken and having the one you care for sit down, love you a little extra that day and watch as you fix yourself with his hand holding yours.Â

Miss Americana & The heartbreak Prince
Bucky Barnes x Reader (AU)
In no world were you meant to be together, but in every universe, you were meant for each other.
A/N: I present you grumpy sunshine wrapped in enemies(ish) to lovers with Beefy Boxer/Biker Bucky.
Written in Third POV. No use of Y/N. However, the reader is referred to as a female. Likes, comments, reblogs are VERY VERY highly appreciated.
Also, I tried to be as inclusive as possible. But my delusion couldn't be controlled I'm sorry.
Ngl this is for me more than anything.
Also, I'm thinking about making this its own universe and maybe write more of it. Tell me what you think
Series Masterlist
Main Masterlist
You hated Bucky Barnes, and he hated you.
The two of you should have never crossed paths. Your worlds should have never met. But the wall separating you could only hold for so long.
The infamous boxer was a phenomenon in his field. Unbeatable and astute, Bucky Barnes held his reputation with pride. He was stronger than all and the smartest the game had. His jab was as numbing as the winter. His techniques were as calculated as a soldier's. Bucky Barnes was as hard as nails. A legend.
To keep up with the notoriety, it was rumoured that Barnes and his team were also a biker gang. It was never confirmed, but the black leather jacket he always had on, the long hair touching his shoulder or tidied in a low bun, the motorbike barked in front of the gym, and the intimidating sense lingering around him. It was never denied, either.
In the mornings, Bucky Barnes ran a successful gym with his two bestfriends, Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson. Both played occasionally, but only Bucky was the professional, so they were more his trainers. They also trained other players and armatures. They tried to gain other normal customers, but it didn't always work. With a reputation like theirs, attracting customers wasn't easy.
It was usually the same for nights, unless they had matches. Most of their fights were held on Stark's property. He ran an empire, and boxing was the dominant centre, led by the biggest champion. And Stark lets Bucky have it his way, just like he likes. As long as Bucky keeps on bringing these huge numbers into their pockets, both are happy and content.
So it was out of the nature for Bucky to have zero interest in the new restaurant that opened up right next door to the gym. They had their regularly frequented places. The bar run by Romanoff and Belova, a couple of blocks away from Stark's property, was more than enough. He didn't even bother to throw a glance at it. Even after he knew that the owner had come by and given out menus and promised them discounts if they stopped by, there was still nothing.
Until one night. Bucky got carried away in training. He had an important match coming up. He knew his opponent barely stood a chance, but Bucky enjoyed the thriller of the game. The sweat and blood that go into it He didn't remember a time when he didn't want to do this. It was like it was programmed so deeply in his brain. He was made for this.
Everyone left, one by one. Until then, it was only him. After so many hours, he finally got tired. He threw his gloves aside and went to take a shower to remove the evidence of his hard work before going back home. As he was locking the gym's door, he heard his stomach growl, reminding him that he needed food. He was starving. Before deciding to wait and order food once he got home, the big sign caught his eye. They did indeed have a restaurant right next door. He admitted he was too tired to cook or wait for delivery. He needed food, then crashed into his bed. So maybe the closest restaurant would be useful.
Once he stepped in, he felt out of place immediately. His dark clothes and huge frame made him look like a stranger compared to the light-coloured painted walls. Some had flowers, and others had stars drawn on them. There were fairy lights in some corners. The aromatic scent was everywhere. Bucky almost winced at how bright and colourful everything felt. This was an alternative universe that he didn't belong in.
"Hi, how can I help you?" An even sweeter voice rang and caught Bucky's attention, breaking him from his trance of observing the place.
He turned around to find the prettiest girl he had ever seen standing behind the counter. Your beauty caught him off guard. He never believed someone could be so beautiful before. But here you were, standing. Taking his breath away.
He recovered very quickly and moved to stand in front of the counter. With the most loving smile, you handed him the menu. He took a look at the menu and wanted to laugh out loud. Dish names were just as cheerful as the atmosphere.
Out of habit, you started explaining and recommending stuff for him. He interrupted you, putting in his order. You didn't give it much thought but took his order happily.
You apologised for the lack of waiters, as it was almost closing time and it was only you. No answer. With his blank stare, you told him he could sit wherever he wanted. Only then did he notice the empty restaurant. It was just you and him. It was that late. So he took a seat at the nearest table.
Not taking much, you returned with his order. You placed it in front of him with a big smile on your face. You knew right away who that was the minute he walked in. James Barnes. The famous boxer who trains next door You have been praying after your small visit to them that they would be regular customers. The business was doing great. But the more, the merer. Always. Lots of people warned you about the men next door. But you didn't feel like they were as bad as people made them out to be. You were always so trusting, unless shown otherwise. So you were happy that, finally, one of them stopped by.
You moved away, letting him enjoy his food. Unable to fight your nature, you started talking to him as you continued cleaning the remaining parts of the place. No answer again. He didn't even bother to look at you. Okay. Maybe he had a rough day. Not all people are used to chatting.
Bucky was one of these people. His eyes widened as you started talking to him. People were never that friendly to him. People avoided him. Nobody tried to open up a conversation with him. He didn't know how to react. And he was too tired to try. So he practiced his other specialty. Silence. But even if he wouldn't admit it, Bucky found your voice calming. So he let you talk instead of just shutting you up.
You reduced your talking to a minimum. Only little remarks there and then to avoid complete silence. The second time, you heard his voice since he walked in and asked for the check. You brought the paper to the table he occupied, keeping your smile up and telling him that he got the 'neighbour discount' as you called it. You almost heard his scoff as you left him.
You had your back to the door, so you only turned around when you heard the door close. You didn't hear his footsteps, and most definitely, you didn't hear his goodbye, goodnight, or even thank you. Now that's rude.
You returned to the table to collect the check. But you found the review note you attached to every check empty. Not a single penmark. And that was more rude. You made sure that filling out the note only took seconds. You genuinely cared to hear people's opinions so you could be better and have the restaurant grow more.
So he didn't speak to you for more than two sentences. Didn't say thank you or goodbye. Didn't fill in the note. Okay, maybe you didn't want them as customers if they were all that rude.
It turns out they weren't that rude. However, Bucky was more rude than you thought.
A couple of days after Bucky's visit, you were surprised to see Bucky with another two men. You guessed they were Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson. The trio was all well-known. You doubted if Bucky was the one to recommend the restaurant. You weren't sure if he even liked the food. And you were right. He would be caught dead if he brought up the fairy world you called a restaurant. Even when it served the tastiest food he had ever had,
It was a slow day. No intense training or excessive fight preparation The three men didn't have much to do that day. So when Steve suggested trying out the restaurant, Bucky neither objected nor showed excitement.
So when they walked in, you couldn't help the feeling of surprise along with the tiny bit of happiness, hoping it would be a nicer visit this time. After preparing their orders and sending them out, you waited for a bit before you left the kitchen to greet them. Not before making sure you looked presentable.
With the small space and their loud voices, it wasn't hard to locate them. You approached them with a big smile and positive attitude.
"I wanted to make sure you were having a good time." You followed up after introducing yourself.
"The food is amazing. This burger is to die for." Steve was the first to compliment you, with Sam nodding and agreeing.
"You have one good chef." Sam added as he took another french fry into his mouth. "Send my regards to them."
"Actually, I'm also the chef." The statement caused a shocked expression to fill in their faces. They asked for details, and you briefly told them how you were the core of the small business as the owner and main chef.
The two men were polite, and they didn't seem annoyed by your chatty personality. In fact, they interacted with you and asked questions to learn more. And all they had to say were nice compliments. Except one.
"So tell me, sweetheart, what was the inspiration for the place? Was it a fairy garden or Disney's latest cartoon?" None of you were ready for the sarcastic comment Bucky threw at you.
You didn't let your smile break in the face of his sarcasm. Nor did you give much thought to the pet name. You put on a bigger smile now, looking at him.
"A bit of both." That's one thing about you: you refused to let the world change about you. You never reciprocate rudeness with rudeness.
"I can tell." Bucky was taken back by your response. He expected you to get offended, but you didn't.
"Thank you. It was my vision all along." You replied, your smile never leaving your face.
And that started your hate relationship with Bucky Barnes.
After that day, the men became regular customers. And it wasn't just the three men. Little by little, it was most of the team. First, it was just to try the good food. Then it was because they wanted to. They wouldn't admit it, but your place was like a breath of fresh air. Something so different from what they are used to. From what they are known for. From what people expected from them. And you never judged them, treated them differently, or asked about the rumours that followed them. So it was a calm change, but much needed.
But their favourite thing was yours and Bucky's constant bickering. Or more Bucky's. Nobody understood why Bucky was doing this. You never partook in his constant attempts to make fun of you. You always had a sweet response to fire back. You truly were the living embodiment of killing them with kindness.
However, he never stopped. Every time he stepped foot in the place, you claimed it was your biggest achievement. He had something rude to say. Something to annoy you with. Something to bother you. Sarcasm and jokes spilling out of him with no end whatsoever.
The number of times you wanted to punch him or snap at him right back was increasing. But you refused to give in. To let him win. He wouldn't be the one to change you. So you kept engaging with him only with gracious things to say.
Besides, you chose to think that everyone had their own battles and demons. And for sure, Bucky looked like he had lots of them. He looked rougher than most. His job made him appear invincible, but he wasn't. Nobody was. So he may drive you mad, but he deserves the gentle treatment you offered all.
Bucky had no idea why he was doing it. Why every time he saw you, he felt the urge to tease you. It wasn't like him. But he didn't fight it back.
"How are you, Tinkerbell?"
"You should buy green carpets. It will finish off the garden aesthetic."
"Here is the princess who got lost."
"The pasta was great, Barbie."
Stuff like this flew from him all the time. And not once did you get back at him. You stayed nice and polite. Your sweet self never crumbling.
There was something in you that drove him insane. Your warm eyes. Your bright smile. Your cheerful voice. Your positive mindset. Your kind heart. Your friendly nature. Your hard work. Your delicious food. Your colourful wardrobe of dresses, skirts, tops, and cardigans. He couldn't pinpoint what it was. Maybe it was all of it.
The deepest part of him knew why he was doing this. He liked you. He liked you so much. From the moment he entered your restaurant alone, the first time And the more he knew you, the more he liked you. You were special. And you were everything he wasn't. He thought if he got closer, he would be tinting you. He would bring darkness to your shine. A moral thing preventing him from speaking his truth. even thinking about it.
So he acted like a teenager. He made fun of you. In hopes of making you hate him. He convinced himself and the others that he didn't like your sunshine personality.
Until one day
It started off like any normal day. Bucky had a match coming up. So they all had something to do. The day was going fine. Up before Peter Parker, who was usually on reception duties, ran in and said there was fire in your place,
For a second, blood ran cold in Bucky's body. He heard ringing in his ears. Were you okay? He collected himself quickly, wanting to check for himself.
He threw the gloves away, almost pushing everybody out of the way to get out. And he was the first to see the chaos in the street. A firetruck was parked, and firemen were going in and out of your restaurant along with some policemen. His eyes were searching for you frantically until he spotted you.
You had some dust on your face and your white clothes. You were checking that everyone was okay and out safely. But you couldn't hide the quivering of your lips or your shaking body.
He couldn't help himself as he ran towards you. You turned as you felt someone approaching you. Without your control, your face softened, and tears blurred your sight once you noticed who it was.
"Bucky." You whispered as a way to ground yourself from all the mess that happened and is still happening.
Following his first instincts, Bucky pulled you into his chest, wrapping your trembling form in his arms and holding you so close to him. And the dam broke.
Sobs fled from you. Tears mixed with his sweat. Your fists gripped his white tank top. Your face hidden away in his chest.
You didn't know how it happened. You had been holding up well enough during it all. You had been managing the situation the best you could. However, when Bucky got here, your mind stopped working. Your mind gave up on you, letting your emotions hit you with full force, breaking down your bastion with no guarantee you would be caught.
But you were. You were braced by strong amrs, rubbing your back, laying small kisses on your hair, and whispering words of comfort in your ears. "I'm here. I'm right here." "You're okay. You're fine."
Your sobs ceased, but your body still shook against Bucky's. Tears remained to fall freely on your face. Bucky's hold was still firm but secure around you.
You only moved away from him when a policeman approached you, informing you that you were needed at the police station.
"I'm coming with you." Bucky's stern voice left no room for negotiation. It wasn't up to debate. He wasn't leaving you.
"I'll grab my stuff in a second." He turned to the policeman standing in front of you, making sure it was okay that he joined. And he got a nod of approval in return.
He left your side, walking towards the gym. He paid no attention to his friends standing by, who were puzzled by the encounter. And true to his words, he came back in seconds, his black leather jacket on, phone in hand, and wallet in hand.
He got to you, letting his hand wrap around your shoulder. The gesture was welcomed by you as you rested your head on his chest. Something about having Bucky spread calmness in you
At the police station, Bucky found out what really happened. It wasn't just fire. It was a robbery. A bunch of armed men attacked your restaurant, demanding money from you and all the people inside. As you are trying to handle the situation without panicking more, it was discovered that one of the customers was a cop, which sent the robbers into an unexpected turn. So they took all they could from the cash register and your own things before setting the kitchen on fire to run away without being caught.
Between talking with the insurance company, the bank, and watching security footage from your restaurants and the street, you spent the rest of the day in the station.
And Bucky didn't leave your side for a second of it.
He didn't leave you until you both got out of the cap in front of your apartment. And he didn't leave until he made sure you got inside safely.
Something about you being hurt sent Bucky into a spiral. Who was heartless enough to hurt such a sweet soul as you? To look at you and not want to give you everything? Bucky would never know. All he knew was that he never wanted to see you so afraid and shaken like today. To not see your smile lighting up your face. So he would do whatever it took to make sure you were always fine.
Which was why you found him by your building the first thing in the morning.
"You have lots of places to go today. Said I would join you."
And up until you were handed the keys to your restaurant brand new after the insurance company had finished the repairs, Bucky didn't leave you. He was always there. Helping you finish papers, going to the police station to identify the robbers, and buying new stuff for the restaurants. Everything. He was there for everything.
And you had to admit. It was lovely to have him. A helping hand you needed. Physically and emotionally. Someone to share this unfortunate journey with. And Bucky didn't bother it for a bit. And you appreciated having him.
So, it only felt right for him to be your first order after the reopening.
The truth was, you never hated Bucky, no matter how much you tried. His huge form, his steel blue eyes, his signature stare, his playful smirk. They all made you feel something. He made you feel something you couldn't quite understand. But it was a pleasant something. He annoyed you so much, but you never took it too seriously. Maybe he hated you, but you didn't.
Now, you didn't need him. You were ready to carry on with your life. He didn't know how to get back to normal. He couldn't. He couldn't pretend you didn't make his heart beat faster. You made his days better. But he was so unworthy of you. And he knew you could never look at him. Maybe you hated him, but he didn't.
He tried to get back to his life. Only training and matches. Only visiting your place with the others who quickly figured out what was happening. He needed to get you out of his mind. That lasted for two days.
When Bucky was closing the gym, he heard something coming from your restaurant. With a frown, he moved to see you still inside. He looked at his watch to check the time again. It was indeed late.
"What are you doing?" He didn't bother with greetings as he entered.
"Hi, Bucky." Your cheerful voice rang through the empty place.
"What are you doing?" He repeated his question, looking at the paper in front of you.
"I'm sending out advertisements and deal offerings to different places." You answered him with a smile.
"Sweetheart, do you know what time it's?" Bucky signed as he looked at you, looking clueless.
"C'mon, let's get you home." He moved towards you, taking the papers out of your hand and putting them down without messing them.
"But I have a lot to do." You tried to protest as he gathered your stuff and helped you out.
"It will still be here in the morning." And he was having none of it.
"I need to get the business going." You added.
"You can do that in the morning, too." Bucky led you out of the restaurant in spite of your complaining.
He took the key from your hand and handed it back to you after he closed up. You expected him to move away, but he didn't.
"How are you going to get home?" He hoped you wouldn't give him the answer he had in mind.
"It's not very far. I was going to walk." And it was it.
Do you not care about your safety, or do you think you are James Bond?
Bucky had to bite his tongue and not scold you right on the spot. He knew you were stressed about the business, so he didn't want to add more.
"Great. I was going somewhere there, too. Let me walk."
"You were?" You questioned him, not believing him, but he nodded quickly.
As a matter of fact, Bucky didn't have anywhere to go other than collapsing on his bed. But over his dead body were you going to walk back home alone in this hour
"Lead the way, princess." The return of the name, but a smile on your face. He may mean it as an insult. You didn't care. It sounded good coming from him.
And the two of you walked.
And somehow, without planning, it became a routine.
Bucky would finish at the gym and come straight to the restaurant. It didn't matter whether it was late or not. He would get in and wait till you were done with the day. Then he would walk you home. Sometimes, he would help with stuff, but most times, you would make him sit down and bring him tonnes of food you prepared just for him.
"You train so hard. Don't want to burn these muscles. Eat and rest."
You weren't stupid. You knew he had nothing to do with where you were living. Yet he still chose to go out of his way, walk you home, and wait until you got in. He was taking care of you. So you wanted to take care of him too.
It felt strange to Bucky. Nobody made sure if he was eating well enough, drinking enough water, and resting enough. Nobody ever did. Everybody treated him like he was a machine. Like he He needed nothing.
Then there you were. Feeding him with delicious food. Letting him relax. Laughing at his jokes. Your hands grazing softly. It was all foreign to him, but very welcome. And he was getting attached. He knew it. How could he not?
He had the sweetest and most loving person on the planet, showing him attention and care.
Bucky counted the minutes until he could be with you. Until he could walk you home, it would be just the two of you. You did most of the talking, telling him about your day or an interesting story you heard. He would tell you briefly about his day.
He loved listening to you. Every detail you shared with him. You were the first in his life to be carefree around him other than his family. You didn't let his stiff demeanour affect your friendly one.
The extra time he spent back to his place from yours didn't bother him in the slightest. He found it reassuring that he knew for sure you were safe at home. It was all worth it.
Every single one of Bucky's friends knew what was happening from the moment he asked to postpone a match to go somewhere with you when you're repairing the restaurant. And it became so clear when he stopped hanging out at Natasha's bar after matches, claiming he was tired. But, in truth, he only wanted to be with you. And the days he knew he couldn't turn it down, especially after a grand victory, he would be glued to his phone until you texted him that you were home. Then he may start celebrating.
Bucky almost punched Steve in the face when he brought up inviting you to one of the matches, or at least to hang out with the whole team at Natasha's bar. Bucky wanted you nowhere near this world. He couldn't imagine you watching him while he was fighting. You would never look at him again. Yes, you were kind, but in the ring, he was a beast. You didn't deserve to see how bad he could be.
That's why he never acted on his feelings for you. He knew he was falling for you. He knew from the start. But you deserved better. So much better.
Your radiant nature had no place near him.
He even tried to stop seeing you, feeling guilty for ever getting close to you. But he failed miserably. You gave him something nobody did. A light in the darkness.
So he bottled it and felt grateful that you even let him be your friend. Or whatever you were.
Before a fact came crushing. You were single.
The days following matches were usually very slow. So he left earlier than usual just to come and wait for you. As long as you wanted. He had a bandage on his forehead and a compression bandage around his hand.
Sometimes you forget what his job was. Until he shows up bruised and bandaged like this. You knew he was strong enough to handle himself. He was the best in the game. But you couldn't help the twinge of your heart at the thought of him hurt.
So you prepared extra food and drinks for him. Once it was evening, you kept your best table for him. You even brought the air freshener with the scent; he commented once that he liked it. Everything to help him relax.
You kept telling yourself you were only doing this because he liked to help everyone. But you knew it was very different. He was very different.
So when he stepped in, your big smile got bigger.
You tried to come and talk with him whenever you could, but it was a busy day. He had no problem. He enjoyed watching you work. You were so dedicated and smart. He wanted you to be the most successful chef and owner in the world.
But maybe he shouldn't have been watching. He should have paid attention to anything else. So he wouldn't have seen the man who had been flirting with you since he walked in.
It was taking everything in Bucky to not get up and throw the guy away. But he heard it. Your answer to his question "Yes, I'm single." And he was reminded of the cruelty of the world. You weren't his. He shouldn't be jealous. He shouldn't have been biting the inside of his mouth when the guy tried to touch your hand as you handed him his bill.
And he most definitely shouldn't be feeling like crying and burning down the world when the guy asked you out and left his number.
Wasn't that what he wanted? For you to have better than him. To have someone who wasn't surrounded by blood and pain. Someone who wouldn't defile your glimmer That guy looked decent enough. Maybe that was your chance to find love.
However, he wanted to tear that paper to pieces. He wanted to punch the guy for asking his girl. But you weren't his girl.
Bucky was conflicted by his emotions. He didn't know what to feel or how to think. So he did the thing he was the best at. He stayed silent.
You noticed right away the change in his mood. He wasn't the most talkative person, but this silence was different. He looked like he was somewhere else. Somewhere, that wasn't so nice.
"Are you sure that you are fine?" You asked as you came to a stop in front of your building.
You only got a nod as an answer.
"You know you can tell me anything. I'm always going to be here."
Your words finally made him look at you after you left the restaurant.
"You are?" His hesitant tone made you frown.
"Of course." You answered very quickly.
"Are you going to go out with this guy?" It was quiet; you almost missed it, but you didn't.
Bucky didn't know what happened. He promised himself he wouldn't bring it up. It had nothing to do with him. But he couldn't. It fell from him.
"Do you want me to?" Your reply was something he didn't expect at all.
You couldn't say you weren't disappointed when Bucky did nothing when the guy started flirting with you. You didn't know what you wanted him to do. But you wanted him to do something.
Instinctively, Bucky moved closer to you, standing right in front of you.
"No, I don't want to."
"Tell me why I shouldn't go out with him."
The space between the two of you was almost nonexistent. You were so close to each other. His blue eyes piercing into yours. His eyes were filled with something so warm that you couldn't quite figure it out.
Bucky didn't know how to answer your question. Why didn't he want you to go out with the guy? Well, he didn't want you to go out with any guy. So he threw caution to the wind and followed his heart.
You almost tripped, but his hands on your waist steadied you. The feeling of his lips on yours was something out of the world. His lips were a bit bruised, but they were soft. It was all so good that your mind stopped working.
Bucky was about to pull away and apologise profoundly when you didn't kiss him back. As he was about to move, your hands wrapped themselves around his neck, pulling him closer to you and kissing him.
The kiss was gentle, and it was filled with emotions. Loving ones. It sent electricity through your bodies. It spread warmth all over you.
Your need for oxygen made you break the kiss, hands still around each other, eyes only looking at each other.
"I thought you hated me."
"Never did. Not for a second, princess."
Bucky's lips smashed against yours once again. And it was like every piece was falling into its place. The puzzle was completed. The rainbow after the rain
You were the shining star in Bucky's dark sky. He may not deserve you, but he was going to do everything in his power to get you to shine more.
Because you were made for each other.

Summary: "We were at war and yet here you are sipping tea.â
The Knight and General clashed weapons.
Neither wanted to back down.
This battle would determine the outcome of war.
âYou asshole! Itâs your people who invaded our lands.â
The General of the Right of Briar Valley shouted, the Knight of Dawn grunted against the force.
âI know! I wish for a world where fae and humans get along. I do not have the power to make it so!â
âYou coward! You could! If you grew a spine!â
Fae and Human locked in battle, unaware of their surroundings.
âI canât! I have people I have to protect!â
âSo do I! But you donât see me fall under the heel of a greedy asshole, do you!â
So entranced were the two in combat, they failed to hear the rattling of a carriage and the hooves of horses.
âYou-â
By the time they noticed, it was too late.
The ominous carriage stood before them, stopping the battle.
The Knight and General are shocked.
âWhat the fu-â
The horse neighed. One would think it was smirking, before the carriageâs door opened and sucked the two in.
Humans and Faes alike watch in stunned silence as their leaders were stolen away.
âWhat do you mean we have to attend school?!â
The Chairman of NRC look at the two in front of him. He seemed rather used to this disruptive behavior.
âExactly that. The carriage has picked you two up and now you have no choice but to attend.â
Lilia held himself back from throttling the person in front of him, before gesturing to the knight right next to him.
âI get why it chose me. But why him!â
âThe Enbony Carriage is never wrong. Everyone who has been chosen has always had a place at NRC.â
Lilia whirled to the man right next to him, only to be surprised at the calculative look in his eyes.
The Knight of Dawn turned towards him; the smile he gave shocked Lilia.
âDo you think theyâll stop the war if their main commanders are missing?â
Youâre kidding-
âYou seem to be taking this hard.â
The Knight of Dawn picked up his cup as he glanced across the table.
His enemy, now turned classmate, huffed at him in irritation.
âYouâre taking it too easy. We were at war and yet here you are sipping tea.â
âI think of it as a vacation.â
Lilia snorted in response.
âBesides, you told me yourself to make my own choice. This is my answer.â
âYour answer is running away?â
âNo, strategically missing.â
The Knight of Dawn sharply looked at Lilia Vanrouge, âTell me. Do you believe my people stand a chance without me? Without me leading, they have no choice but to retreat and pause this war.â
He was not wrong. Lilia knew this.
Without their strongest warrior, they would be nothing. He could see how such a move would be in all their favor. It just irked him to see the knight calmly sipping teaâŠin the same dorm.
âI canât believe that stupid relic put you in Diasomnia.â
The clank of cup meeting plate was the only sound in the lounge for a while.
ââŠmaybe this was the answer to my prayers. A sign that it is possible for our kind to get along.â
Lilia couldnât deny that nor could he deny the knightâs placement in Diasomnia. For all his gripes, the Knight of Dawn had all the qualities of those under the Thorn Fairy.
âA vacation huh? Sounds nice. I can get away from the menaces at home.â
Lilia picked up his cooled tea, almost dropping it at the words that came out of the humanâs mouth next.
âYes. I can stay away from that brat. Letâs see him try to wage his war without me.â
The gleam in his eyes accompanied by the slight smirk stunned Lilia briefly.
Hmm. Maybe the Knight of Dawn did belong at NRC...and Diasomnia.
Lilia drank his tea, school didnât sound so bad after all.
This was influenced by this art. I couldnât help but think âWhat would happen if the carriage kidnapped them? What if they were forced to be students? What then?â
And this was the result đ€Łđđș
I also love to give the knight these glimpses of the deviousness and straightforwardness we see in Silver.
The Knight might be forced to follow Henrik, but it doesnât mean he doesnât have thoughts about it. đđđ„
I had a lot of fun writing this one đđșđđ»

Identity Death
--- Originally posted on 2024-04-12 by dumb-and-jocked. ---

âEndless war will end our world!â Alan shouted.
âStop funding our military!â
Alan was amongst the hundreds of protestors at the courthouse fighting against the proposed budgetary reforms. Schools, roads, transportation, parks, environmental protections agenciesâthey were all on the line. Through the presented bill, thousands of institutions would be shut down as billions of dollars would be rerouted towards a single entity: the military.
âThe military corrupts! Stop the brainwashing!â Alan spat. He had organized this event under his alias, a popular political blogger on multiple social media outlets. Although his voice was loud and aggravated, Alan's physical appearance was anything but. He wore a baby blue tee and white-washed skinny jeans. 5â7 with bleached hair. All he needed was a rainbow somewhere to perfect his twink look. But he was not here to make that kind of statement. He was at the protest to make another form, something that could gain traction. Peering across the crowd, Alan saw his chance.Â
A few of Alanâs fellow protestors were bombarding one of the towering guards with jeers. They scrutinized him, although it appeared none of their words got through the soldierâs heavy artillery padding. In fact, the solider stood proud in his position, dominantly poised with his chest puffed up in pride. Alan approached the guard slowly, noticing he remained perfectly still as the protestors continued to insult him. Without thinking twice, Alan approached and made his move.Â
âHow about you show us what theyâre really funding, dickhead?â
Alan threw a fist at the soldier, putting all his strength behind the movement. Due to the crowds, the soldier did not recognize the motion until it was too late. Alanâs knuckle dove right into the much taller manâs neck, ricocheting into the muscular, masked chin. Instantly, there was a cheer from the crowd at the successful blow, but it was quickly hushed.
âYou pathetic cocksucker,â the soldier growled. In a flurry, the once peaceful statue became a merciless brute, swinging down and dragging Alan out of the crowd. Before he knew it, Alan found himself handcuffed with the soldier escorting him off into the enemyâs territory.
âYou canât do this! This is illegal!â Alan cried out.Â
âShut your whiny mouth.â As soon as they were out of public sight, the soldier slapped Alan hard across the face. The warmth of blood soon filled his cheeks where the bruise began to bloom. Alan made sure not to react, but he could not hide the worry in his voice.
âWhere are you taking me?â
âThe barracks, you fairy prick.â
The soldier brought Alan to a building not too far from the protest lines. He guided them down numerous hallways, Alan losing track before they even made it halfway there. There were checkpoints, various nods, and some curt conversations with other soldiers, but nobody questioned about Alan or the situation. Eventually, Alan was tossed into a small makeshift bedroom, only holding a cot and a pile of unwashed clothes.
âGet undressed,â the soldier demanded.
âWhy should I listen to you?â
Alan was met with another forceful assault, this time a punch to his gut.
âCause Iâm First Sergeant, maggot, which means out of the two of us, Iâm in charge.â
Alan scoffed. âIs that your name: âFirst Sergeantâ?â
âFirst Sergeant QF24,â the soldier gruffly shot back.
âThatâs not a name either,â Alan replied.Â
âBeen in service so long I donât need a civilian name.â
Alan wanted to jump on this, make a point about how this was evidence of the dangers of the military, but First Sergeant continued.
âWhile my identity is real, I assume the one you were about to give me is not. What do you go by, something like that 'AlanActivist' snot?â
Alan blushed, believing that his pseudonym had been cool and unique.
âItâs about time you considered that maybe it is not the military that enforces this âidentity deathâ you all are so worried about, but your own belief system.â
âYou canât be serious,â Alan snarked, surprised at the soldierâs intelligent argument. First Sergeant was however humorless, once again pointing to the pile of discarded clothes.
âGet dressed, degenerate.â
The soldier placed one of his giant, gloved hands behind the twinkâs back and pushed him towards the pile. It appeared to Alan as a giant heap of army green and camouflage. Slowly but hesitantly, he began to strip himself of his clothing, hoping to avoid any further hazing. Once down to his underwear, he silently pleaded that he would not have to drop anything else.
âSoldiers go commando, sissy.â
First Sergeant quickly appeared behind Alan before ripping his underwear clean off, exposing the twinkâs bare bottom and small package to the world. Alan quickly covered himself up with one hand before leaning down towards the pile. He grimaced, his fear no longer overriding the powerful musk seeping from the military cloth. First Sergeant chuckled at his disgust from behind.
âArenât homos supposed to like that kind of thing?â he asked, before grabbing the back of Alanâs head. âGo on, get a better whiff of it!â Amused, First Sergeant plunged Alanâs head into the musky pile of clothes. Alanâs oxygen supply was cut off, forcing him to inhale the overpowering masculine fumes.
âYou idiots never consider that being in the military is hard work. Itâs not all fun and guns.â First Sergeant smothered Alanâs head further. ââBout time you realize what itâs like, standing on the front line all day, hot and sweaty and random strangers berating you for protecting their country, their freedom.â
The military body odor seeped into Alanâs system, numbing his body and clouding his mind. By the time he was pulled away, the naked twink struggled to form a coherent thought.
âMuch better,â First Sergeant noted the lopsided smile on the twinkâs face. âNow, fit yourself into some tactical gear.â
Without questioning it, Alan followed the soldierâs command. He did not know every single piece of equipment that went into the common soldierâs uniform, nor did he understand the procedure to follow, but somehow Alan managed to get the attire onto his body.
Combat pants, military-grade socks, gore tex boots. Camouflage button-up, hardshell jacket, belt with holster and magazine pouches. Shooting gloves, army print hat, face mask. It took a minute longer for Alan to place every minor piece of tactical protection onto himself, but finally his smaller frame was completely covered, dwarfed by the oversized gear.
âLooking like a real soldier there,â First Sergeant mocked. âNow letâs actually make you one.â
Already covered in the musky clothing, Alanâs intellectual ability had been dulled considerably. But when First Sergeant approached, clutching Alanâs head once more before shoving it into his wet armpit, his brain completely halted. Coming straight from the source, the soldierâs stench wafted past all Alanâs barriers, taking control immediately. Its first instruction was to keep sniffing, its second was to conform.
With a chuckle, First Sergeant watched as Alanâs body began to expand underneath his hold. The shrimpy twink grew inside of the tactical gear, filling it out properly in every direction. Muscular arms filled the sleeves of the jacket, meaty hands stuffing the crevices of the gloves. The vest became as padded on the back as it was in the front, juicy pectorals and rigid abdominals forcefully pushing against the fabric.Â
Thicker thighs padded the pants, bloated feet crowded the massive boots. Two muscular buttocks crammed the seat of Alanâs pants. A lantern jaw and cleft chin became prominent underneath the face mask. Buzz cut hidden by the cap, deeper voice waiting to confirm with âSir, yes sir!â First Sergeant even noticed the prominent padding his new soldier was developing beneath the belt. When he ultimately removed Alan from his hold, the man before him now stood at the same domineering height.
âGood, now just stand still for one moment.â
Even if he wanted to, Alan could not move. The musk was still lingering in his mind, holding him steady as First Sergeant deposited an obnoxious military headset onto Alanâs head. He then plugged the headset into a walkie-talkie before tuning it to an empty channel. A robotic voice began looping into Alanâs ears, along with a few simple tones to open up the receptive pathways in his brain.
âReady to get back out there?â First Sergeant asked, knowing his fellow soldier could not hear him. With a smirk, he escorted the dumbfounded subordinate out of the room, pacing slowly as Alan absorbed the propaganda. It was simple phrases, nothing too complicated but through repetition effective on the psyche. âMilitary good,â âpacifism badâ. âNationalism good,â âmulticulturalism bad.â âMasculinity good,â âprogressivism bad.â The messages were rudimentary, but deliberate.
Once they stepped back into the open, fresh air, Alanâs consciousness resurfaced. He tried to fight back against the rampant messaging, doing his best to tune out the audios as the First Sergeant led him back to the front line. Alan was being attacked on all fronts: his morals, his identity, his sexuality. Every time he turned away to defend one trait, it was like he lost another. He felt himself dwindling, chipping away.
Before long, the two stood directly in front of the courthouse, mere feet away from their first encounter. First Sergeant loaded the new soldier up, arming the man with a weapon and other items necessary in case of an emergency.
âLetâs see if youâre done cooking yet.â First Sergeant looked directly into his subordinateâs eyes, pleased with their reflective quality. He then removed the headphones.
âName and rank, soldier?â he saluted. The other man fell into place, mirroring his actions.
âPrivate Aaron Steel, MH36 sir!â
First Sergeant smiled. The name change was a good sign of transition, but complete removal would have been preffered.
âReady for the task, soldier? Will you be loyal and obedient to the greatest nation? Follow every instruction in the name of tradition?â
The soldier nodded his head quickly, âAffirmative, sir.â
âAlright then.â First Sergeant replaced the headphones back onto the privateâs head, knowing a little more time would do the trick. âDismissed. Get back to work, private.â
âSir yes sir!â
First Sergeant strolled back to his command at the front line. The new private monitored the crowd, absorbing his commands as he scanned for any disturbances.

Wait the "Lorule-Hyrule soul bond is pain for literally just Legend and Ravio" combined with it spreading to the rest of the chain is so funny bc like imagine if after this they talk to Fable like "yeah, sharing pain sucks. I bet it's annoying for you too"
And she lets it slip that no, she and Hilda have telepathy
And now Warriors is frothing at the mouth because what do you MEAN they get telepathy that would've been so helpful actually but nooooooo Legend just has to get hurt and Ravio has to be angsty
Maybe if Ravio had a better childhood, then pain wouldn't be a common denominator and instead their connection would be about hoarding items like. Randomly in Legends head he gets the details of Ravios sales, and then Ravio one day gets like. A rundown of the specs of whatever magic item Legend has picked up from a chest this time.
Ok, but can you imagine having 8 guys' thoughts in your head all the time? That would be absolutely terrible lmaaaaaao
Imagine like you're Time and suddenly you get bombarded with these thoughts
"Ok, but what if I drop a bug in the stew, nobody will know, I've done it before and they didn't notice"
"Ah man, I wanna roll around in the dirt and sniff around, what if I turn into wolfie right now"
"I wonder if I give wolfie a hyoi pear I would be able to control him like a seagull???? Awww I wanna try that would be so sick"
"I swear to the goddesses if I come home and ravio sold one of my magic rods AGAIN I will start charging him double the rent"
"My zelda is so beautiful, so cute, I wanna kiss her pretty cute nose and hold her close and never let her go and oh I miss her so much, her beautiful golden hair and her pretty big eyes andâ"
âinsert jumbled unintelligible mashup of four's thoughts here, just a bunch of convos being constantly interrupted by the colorsâ
"If i turn into a fairy maybe i could snoop around the vet's bag, i bet he has some incredible magic items there"
"Ok so, if hypothetically an enemy were to attack right now, I could grab the sailor and the traveler and put them behind me in a second just in time to cover them with my shield...my shield that is right here, yes, and oh my dagger always have my dagger close. I can trust the old man to grab the others too, I know he's just a paranoâ no prepared PREPARED as I am, yes"
Time, thinking as loud as he can so it reaches everyone: PLEASE REMEMBER WE CAN ALL HEAR WHAT YOU'RE THINKING. also please don't add bugs to the stew champion, I'm watching you"
In another note lol ravio and legend having a sale/inventory bond is SO CUTE what the HELL

guys. i could say that im very normal abt the update. but that would be a lie. and lying is bad. yeah. im nothing close to normal abt this whole thing im deranged.
theres so many details here.
Time seems to be more calm, the last update he was at the verge of screaming (to shut them all? to call for help to control all these links? who knows) now he looks very thoughtful, taking in every detail of the whole place to see if he can get some sort of puzzle solved
This question i feel like it has more impact that it looks at first, a lot of people are pointing out the little owl friend we saw at the first doodles of the AU, yeah the owl in oot was a yapper in all rule, but he was some sort of guidance during his journey
Twilight connects the owls to Shad, a guy who has a lot of knowledge and can help him at any moment if he needs some sort of information, Four remembers the owl that helped the colors during his second adventure, and Legend connects the owls to the statues in Koholint, together with the owl that gave him hints to where he had to go
Here it is made clear the point that i was talking before: Time recognizes that even if, for a kid, it was just an anoying bird, he helped him in some sort of way, and he should appreciated that small detail
beautiful art there's so many birds here im delighted so happy i've been staring at this for already 6 minutes beautiful
Owlan! as someone who also has slept during class so many times i dont blame Sky at all
also can we talk about how cool is Owlan's design??? like why i haven't seen anyone commenting abt it???? the yellow feather just makes me thing of the loftwing that we had to chase during the start of sksw, and i love that small detail so much
and Sun!! Finally she got a canon apparition, and of course it is with Sky sleeping during class lol
going back with what i was saying before, yeah he can thank Kaepora Gaebora all he wants, but man did that bird talk so much
love that expression 10/10 no more notes needed
EMO RULIE EMO RULI-
putting that joke aside, Hyrule seems to be more careful inside a dungeon, sure he can try and explore all he wants outside, but he knows very well the dangers of a dungeon, and he would like to no take any risk that could put them in danger while he can help it
I love the continuity of the comic, we all knew these were the same statues as the one that Twi used to separate them from Sky, but seeing it being portrayed in the comic is a detail that i think we all appreciate
Twilight my guy you cant go and look all that innocent we know your tricks
also Sky still remembers that time, seeing Legend as a bunny will not be easily forgotten. And Legends knows it
it doesn't mean that he likes that little fact
here i have things to say, it makes sense that the antifairy goes first for Legend, he's like. one of the most magic-based of them. Sure maybe Hyrule is our special wizard guy, but the vet uses a shit ton of magic weapons, he has to have a crazy amount of magic with him adding the rings he has
Also them all ready to defend their vet, yeah it might not be fully dangerous, but they will show no mercy to whatever dares to hurt one of them (a silent promise that they all made with the Twilight situation)
Time's attention is instantly gained with the mention of a Fairy, he doesn't sees too much of his friends in that thing, and that gives him a bad feeling of why the name
i could easily do a well thought comment on how he's magical girl material but i think with only that description enough was said
Only with the thought of one of his fairy friends having such destiny makes Time be disgusted, a Fairy turned into an enemy? Doesn't sound right, it isn't natural and just cruel for the poor fairy
also Wind was ready to catch her, he knows how valuable are fairies during a dungeon, you never know when you will need her help
Warriors during his adventure he made friends with the fairies, so he obviously will have something for her
he's like a mom who knows her children very well and will carry any treats for them, not beating up the mom/aunt of the group allegations
and Wind give the poor fairy some time before entering the bottle, she must be confused :(
this last pannel is everything to me, very cool very beautiful i love thsi comic so much
now my fav pannels as usual!
beautiful art as always every time i see a new update i get surprised by all the details
if you noticed a lot of Four in the last few images shushhh
as always, art credits goes towards @linkeduniverse!

ăChaldea Treasure Hunting!ă Oberon Edition (Translation)
Oberon: Time to embark on an unforgettable adventure with this fairy king Oberon!
.....................
Guda: It's a city of steam!
Oberon: Hey, you're a youngster from the 21st century, aren't you? Aren't you supposed to be used to this kind of city? Well then again, I can understand your excitement.Â
Even though it's the same consumer civilization as yours, I guess you find that there is a certain allure in this scenery. It's a city that retains its medieval charm while being dominated by a primarily industrial design, I guess being able to imagine such a contradictory world is one of humanity's strengths.
Guda: You're a reliable companion!
Oberon: Well, of course! If it's a request from you, this Fairy King Oberon will fly over to you with all his might! Though well, it did take me a quite a while to change into these clothes, but I hope you forgive me for that. After all, we're going to an adventure! So I have to be stylishly dressed, right?Â
Now then, according to this steam observation clock, it seems that the Holy Grail of blessings is somewhere underground. If we find it, we'll gain a lot of QP, right? Time to go all out to repay my debts!
.....................
Oberon: Honestly, stairs of all things? In a city of clockwork? Not even a single transport mechanism?! I guess we'll just have to accept this fact and take the long way down. It'd be much easier if only I could fly, but as you know, my wings are just ornamental. Maybe I should go to Da Vinci and ask her to make a mechanical glider for me. No, maybe a jet pack is saferăŒ...
Guda: Oberon...! Wait!
Oberon: Hmm? Did you say anything? Whoa there! Sorry, sorry, I got distracted. Wait, is our faces kind of close right now? Are you okay? Pfft... Haha... Hahahahaha! Just what kind of expression are you making! Too bad it's dark in here, if I had a camera, I would've taken a snapshot of it!Â
Guda: Are you telling me my face looks weird?
Oberon: Whoa, sorry about that. I don't mean anything bad by that. I'm telling the truth. It's just that, it's an expression I've never seen you make before. Itâs not the nervousness in battle, it's not the fear of death, it's something child-likeăŒ... no, it's nothing. Saying it out loud just cheapens it.Â
Anyway, forget that! Right now, there's only the two of us, alone in this underground passage. It's not like there's a terrifying enemy waiting for us ahead, so let's take it easy and enjoy this uncharted journey together!
The path ahead looks like it's going to get even narrower, so hold my hand, and let's keep moving forward. It's so you won't stray far from me, come on now, give me your hand.
.....................
Oberon: Looks like we've descended quite a bit. Oh! This seems to be the lowest level. All that's left is a straight path from here. Everythingâs going smoothly! Hm?Â
Huh? What is it? Is it coming from behind us?Â
What in the world? This is unexpected! Let's run, Master!Â
Just how persistent are these guys! And to top it off, I think there's even more of them now!Â
Ah, I see light shining up ahead! Let's keep going!
Huh?! There's no road?! We're gonna fall, Master! Give me your hand!
Guda: Oberon!!!
- The Master and Oberon clung to each other as they fell. -
Oberon: Is this what they call "drowning in schemes and strategies," huh? I didnât expect the path would collapse. Oh well, Iâm used to falling. Itâs just that this time, I'm a bit more entangled into something.
.....................
Oberon: Oww... Ah, Master, are you okay?Â
It's hard to believe there's so many flowers blooming down here, right? As long as there is life, there will always be flowers blooming somewhere. Water, sunlight, flowers, insects, and greenery, they're all part of the cycle after all.
That's right. I'm the one who left the Holy Grail there. Because I heard that you were going to go on an adventure.
It's all true that I was asked to do this. However, it wasn't as calm as I expected it to be for the Master. Things didn't go as expected, but today is a day of celebration for you, right? What's important isăŒ
Nemo Marine: Captain! I've found Oberon!Â
Nemo Marines: We've found him!
Nemo Professor: It's all a farce! Oberon-shi has been persistently rejecting all communication attempts.
Captain Nemo: We've finally connected to you. Oberon, is the Master alright? The communications suddenly cut off when you went underground though.Â
Oberon: Oh my, I didn't know about that~! The Master is fine and has successfully retrieved the Holy Grail. It's no problem over here.Â
Nemo Engine: Then hurry up and return already! Your scolding will come after that!
Nemo Nurse: Fufu, if you have any injuries, I'll take care of them, so please feel free to come to me.
Captain: Everyone, shut up for a moment! Oberon, Master, it's great that you two are safe. I'd like for you both to take your time and explore the city. And if possible, I'd like for the both of you to take a lot of photos of the scenery for future reference. There's a lot of vehicles in a clockwork city, right?Â
Oberon: Of course! Please look forward to the souvenirs we'll get you, Captain! We have to keep Engine happy after all.Â
Nemo Engine: I-it's not like I'm interested in motorcycles or anything! W-well, I'll use it as reference for the Penguin Porter's external parts...
Oberon: Okay, then let's focus on that, huh? Well then, see you later in Chaldea!
Nemo Bakery: Iâll bake a warm baguette while waiting for you, okay?
Oberon: Alright, let's go back to the surface and explore the town until the sun sets. Even though it's a town that's messy, oily, and full of shady shops, I'm sure it'll become a wonderful memory.Â
After all, exploring an unknown world is an adventure in its own right.
