I don't know if I ever made a post about it - it's likely something that stayed in the drafts cause I didn't know how to word it probably. But I suspected based on how Vi was hallucinating Vander and Powder like she did after the Sevika fights that she might share the same psychological and psychotic predisposition that Jinx did, but due to her different experiences didn't manifest the same way. Usually the kind of psych issues Jinx suffered from runs in the family, or the predisposition rather. Negative environmental factors triggers when and how they manifest. For Vi, it seems frequent beatings and neurological damage from them is leading her there. And seeing as Vi is seemingly hallucinating her loved ones berating at her and of Caitlyn in season 2, she is in it now.

(Drug use BTW, can trigger such psychological tendencies to hence why Jinx's hallucinations got bass boosted at the dinner party probably.)

You ever wonder if Vander was worried about Jinx's violent tendencies? Violence is unfortunately common place in Zaun, but all we saw were kids getting into street fights. When Deckard pulled out a knife, there was a real air of seriousness that both respective leaders, Vi and Deckard, were aware of when he did that. They knew if it escalated, they couldn't go back.

...And here's Jinx, actively trying to kill people. If her nail bomb actually worked, then AT BEST, that kid in Deckard's gang would have been seriously maimed, at best. Only one of the kids carry knives, and Jinx is building lethal weapons in the house.

Does he not have thoughts and opinions about this? Did he just think she wouldn't succeed because she's so young? Or did he expect Vi to handle that?

I wanted to say that outside of semantics and divisions - I am simply happy to find communities that welcome with kindness - that welcome you by a good heart and not the ability to conform. I am happy for the opportunity to be surrounded by people who care. It's a funny world we live in - making the same mistakes over and over, multiplying the same suffering by billions. I don't think I hope for an utopia anymore, I don't think such a thing exists - but you can't call me hopeless either. And that's what matters.

As a side note - this piece is set in DanceAU, which might be better known to Patrons so far, but still it was the best and most fitting option for this occasion..... also there are 12 DanceAU pieces incoming, because I might be making another calendar so. get familiar with these mutts

I’ve always entertained the idea of Nesta going full on evil because she already has a compelling backstory that makes a villain relatable, understandable, these things could push her to extremes to fight for change but not without questionable choices, I mean, she has the cold, unflinching, cunning attitude down, bonus sexy points. She fights for humans, fights for women. But why not make her evil in the process.

And then there’s Feyre with her own backstory but she has that innate compassion, both are fighting for change, have a common enemy, but Feyre has lost faith in Nesta, wants to see her nurturing future come to fruition without burning everything to the ground.

i just heard someone on youtube (T B Skyen) say that silco loved jinx but didnt quite know how to love powder, while vi loves powder but doesnt know how to love jinx. and oooof oof ouch yeah

also it got me thinking and obviously jinx and powder arent two different people shes just going by a different name now but its also not baseless to analyze them as different "characters", or what traits of jinx are part of powder, etc. like the animators literally have a trick where they change her facial structure how they animate jinx to show when shes behaving more like powder. shes completely changed who she is, its jinx now powder fell down a well, sat on the jinx chair embraces who she is etc etc

love seeing people react to Vi becoming a cop like "Oh my god this is so out of character!! What's going on!" When it was not, and that was the point, I fear.
