Yeah so I’m not going to spend hours using tag replacer just to make stuff viewable in the iOS app. heck even if this ban spreads beyond the iOS app I’m not going to bother. They’re constantly changing the list already, maybe they’ll remove the more egregious tags, maybe they’ll add more, idk, but it is not worth the effort to try and fix and i don’t suggest anyone try doing so just yet, even if you want to do it eventually at least wait til the list stabilizes a bit.

staff claims they’re planning to fix this up on the wip blog but we’ll see. in the meantime though things are obviously in flux and there’s seriously no point in trying to retag everything

but seriously, ***STOP USING THE IOS APP,*** just use tumblr in safari/chrome/whatever if the iphone is your only option. use the iOS app and know at least half of your dash is being blocked. i have a hand-me-down iphone and i’m disabled and don’t always have the energy to get to my desktop, i get it (also despite apple’s censorship it’s not like android is a bastion of morality either lol) but stop using the damn app. leave a bad review and uninstall it. ftr i’ve never used the app and only ever mobile browsed, i find them both similarly annoying to use and don’t think the app is an upgrade tbh

if the ban in its current state does spread to android/mobile browser/desktop, then yeah, this site is officially dead and can’t be overcome, and i’m saying this as one of the cockroaches that’s been around since like 2011. i refuse to stop using trig/ger warn/ings, and i also refuse to stop using words like re/blog and mi/ne and ab/out, and i refuse to go back and retag hundreds of thousands of posts accordingly. like that’s not tenable and that’s not happening and i don’t suggest that anyone else try and do it. hopefully that won’t happen since this is apple’s fault to start with, but we’ll just have to see.

remember that you can find me under the same username on twitter and you’ll see all my art/fic/etc there, and you can subscribe to me directly through ao3 to see fic. and again stop using the damn ios app at least for now.
