Chapter 3: Everlasting Love Bites (slight smut)
Super regeneration powers and hickeys do not mix, unless… Additional warnings: kissing, dry humping, and mention of cunnilingus
(Celina)
Celina was freshening herself up in the bathroom in the morning after a long intimate session last night.
Checking herself out in the mirror, she noticed that all of her hickeys were already gone despite knowing that Dante marked her several times. She knew why.
Ever since the awakening of her angelic power several months ago, she was gifted with regenerative abilities like Dante’s. No longer did it take days for a papercut to heal nor weeks for love bites to fade away. All wounds healed on the spot. Heck, she was even confident that she could take a stab to the chest and still be fine. Though, Dante would never have her put that to the test, and she doesn’t blame him.
While she loved that she doesn’t have to cover the sinful marks from coworkers and strangers anymore, a part of her missed them. Reminiscing on the times when she was a normal human, she wondered if Dante felt the same way. The same man who was taking a piss behind her on the toilet.
Dante was finishing his business when he met her gaze in the mirror. Walking up behind her, he wrapped his arms around her waist and laid his head on her shoulder. “Miss those love bites already, hmm? I can always fix that for you,” his voice dripping with playful innuendo.
Celina automatically rolled her eyes at him through the mirror, but her body leaned against his touch. “As if.” She snorted.
The devilish grin on Dante’s face widened. “Oh, come on, you know you love it when I mark you as mine. Besides… it’s always my pleasure to remind you who you belong to.”
Her eyes shot up in mild amusement, and she let out a taunting laugh at his bold, yet true, statement. “Oh, I would love to hear you still say that when you have to bite me every five seconds to do that.”
Five seconds was an understatement, since she didn’t know the exact time it took for the love bites to heal, but the point still stands. If Dante wanted to mark her for a long time, then he would have to again and again. An endless cycle that Dante seems to not back down from.
“Oh, don’t challenge my stamina, babe. I’m more than up for the task, and I might just enjoy it even more.” He chuckled into her neck, his scruffy beard tickling her skin.
Celina tried to suppress a giggle as she squirmed away. “S-stop!” She bumped Dante off of her back with her rear end to stop him from getting any wild ideas—ideas of her withering on the floor in painful laughter. It would be fun at first, but Dante can be a bit of a pushover sometimes.
Laughters from the red devil echoed through the bathroom as he stood back to give her space. The pointed look Celina threw back at him soon melted into that of joy. Unable to resist his contiguous laughs, she joined him, her face flushed from a mix of excitement and embarrassment.
I love him so much.
As they basked in the warmth that surrounded them, a light bulb went off on her head. Angelic and demonic energies are opposite in nature, and Celina knew for a fact that combining them leads to devastating effects. Not devastating where she would hurt him but if she infused a little bit of her angelic energy into her love bites, then it may take time for Dante to heal and vice versa. She was now tempted to try that idea next time.
Dante raised an eyebrow at the devilish grin forming on Celina’s lips. “What are you thinking?”
“You’ll see.” She winked at him before heading out of the bathroom, leaving him in anticipation. Her secret had to be kept for now, or Dante will beat her to it first—no doubt.
“You’re really gonna keep me in suspense, babe?” he called out to her with a weary smile as he followed after her.
Celina knew that he loved being kept on his toes. That’s where the fun lies, and the only answer Dante got was her snickers.
A few days later, Celina had the next opportunity to test her theory. It all started with some innocent cuddling while watching flicks in the living room. However, things soon got frisky under the blanket, and Celina ended up straddling on top of Dante’s lap, making out with him.
Neither of them cared how it happened nor were they complaining. Physical affection was their love language as both of them had high libidos, though Dante’s levels were higher.
A groan escaped from the half devil’s lips when Celina’s hips rocked against the growing bulge between his legs. Only the fabric of their clothes acted as a barrier, but that didn’t stop Dante’s hands from tightening around her waist in response, urging her to continue.
Celina loved how hard Dante can easily get from such simple affection, and she was happy to give him more. Pulling away from the kiss, she moved down to tackle his neck, sucking and nibbling on his weak spots. Spots that would drive him insane.
Now.
Infusing a little bit of her angelic energy in her lips, Celina sucked hard on the side of his neck. Dante groaned, the sound soon turning into a hiss, as his fingers dug into her waist, but Celina kept at it for a few moments, ensuring that the hickey would last.
After ending it with a soft kiss, Celina pulled back and eyed her creation. A pleased smirk tugged at her lips when the tenderness of that spot was evident. A bruise will form for sure, and it will last.
Dante reached up and brushed his fingers over the tendered spot on his neck. “What was that?” he asked curiously.
“Feels different?” Celina smiled that his reaction was already proving that her idea worked.
Dante returned her smile and wrapped his arms around her waist again, pulling her closer. “Yeah, I can feel that this one is different from the rest. What secret technique you just pulled on me now, babe?”
The half angel knew that he was eager to try it out himself, itching to return the favor. She could give it to him, but it was too much fun having the upper hand.
“That’s for me to know and for you to never find out.” She winked.
A spark of challenge gleamed in Dante’s eyes. “Is that so? Guess I’ll have to learn it on my own then. Mmmm, let’s see…” Dante stalled, his fingers drumming along her waist.
Celina decided to throw him a bone. “Let’s just say I gave you an angel kiss.”
Dante’s eyebrows shot up, nodding in awe. “An angel kiss huh,” he repeated before a devilish grin spread across his face. “Then you won’t mind if I return the favor, eh?”
The sultry tone in his voice sent a shiver down Celina’s spine. She almost giggled. “You really think you can pull it off?”
That didn’t back Dante down as he leaned closer with the same spark of determination in his eyes. “Don’t underestimate me, babe. I am a fast learner.”
With that, he closed the distance and captured her mouth, nibbling on her bottom lips for entrance, which Celina happily accepted.
Soon after, Dante moved to her neck, placing a trail of kisses and nips that sent sparks throughout her body until he reached the spot.
The anticipation was killing her until she let out a soft groan when Dante sucked hard. The foreign yet familiar sensation of his demonic energy flowing through her skin caused Celine to grit her teeth. It wasn’t unpleasant—just a small prick followed by a tingling sensation that reminded Celina of acupuncture. This was definitely going to leave a mark.
The kiss Dante left afterward made up for it before he pulled back, flickering his gaze between Celina and her tendered spot. “How was that?” he asked in a hoarse voice.
Damn, she had to give it to him. Like what Dante said earlier, this mark felt different from his usual love bites. He actually did it on his first try whereas Celina had to practice beforehand. She kinda envied him on that.
“Impressive,” she purred.
Dante grinned cockily. “Told ya so,” he said, pulling her closer to where their hips were against each other. The tent in his pants was more prominent than ever, and it made all the blood in her body rushed down south. The hands slipping under her shirt and caressing her flushed skin didn’t help much either.
She knew what was about to happen, and she welcomed it. But, before she could anticipate any further, Dante continued.
“Now where were we?” he murmured, sealing her lips with another kiss. The heat below her belly intensified by each second, begging for more attention.
Celina was in for a long night.
~~~
The sounds of the birds chirping and winds whistling through the air stirred Celina from her dreamless slumber. Despite the blackout curtains draped over the windows of their shared bedroom, she could tell it was morning. Saturday morning. Closing her eyes, Celina allowed sleep to consume her once more, since her alarm clock had yet to ring.
Just as her consciousness was about to take the back burner, Celina felt Dante stirring on his side of the bed. The mattress near her dipped further when his body rolled over to her side. One beefy arm wrapped around her waist and the other slid under her pillow, Celina felt Dante pulling her to his warm, bared chest, until she was safely snug against him. His head buried itself in her curly locks, and she heard him take a deep inhale from behind, as if her scent alone soothed his soul. The hot air traveling to the back of her neck, causing her strands to flicker, almost made Celina squirm and giggle.
He had to know what he was doing to her cause he murmured, “Those marks look good on you, babe.”
It took a second for memories from their previous night to flash through her head and, when they did, she grunted in response.
Don’t tell me.
The male pride radiating from him, as if the sun had just popped into their room, told Celina what she didn’t want to hear. But, she had to see for herself. Looking over her shoulder, Celina peaked through the corner of her eyes and spotted Dante lazily staring at her with a smirk. Damn him. He knew that she was conscious enough to hear his opening statement.
That was not the only thing Celina noticed. The many love marks scattered across his neck also caught her attention. Love marks that she left and still haven’t healed as they would usually do by now. Her technique worked.
Dante must have recognized the happiness in her eyes. “Like what you see?” he teased.
Celina couldn’t help but feel proud of herself. It was like she made the impossible possible with her recent discovery. All of Dante’s sexual innuendos were momentarily forgotten by her. She shifted onto her back to get a better look. “Yeah.”
Dante shifted with her but still maintained his hold on her. He softly chuckled. “I’d say the same to you. You’re a sight to behold, babe.”
In that moment, all of the lingering drowsiness in her body finally seeped out when she caught his gaze flickering to her neck. Celina’s eyes widened as she instinctively brought a hand to her neck. The contact caused her to wince in pain from the throbbing sensation.
“Uh oh, I might have gone overboard this time.” Dante did not sound apologetic at all, and what was worse was that she wanted to wipe that shit-eating grin from his face.
She didn’t need to see how bad it was. She could already feel every inch of her marked skin, and something told her that she got more than what she could bargain for.
Groaning inwardly, Celina rolled her head toward the ceiling. “Why?” she whined.
Dante laughed. “Why?” He snuggled closer to her. “How could I not? It’s hard to resist the urge to mark you all up like this.” His voice then dropped to a huskier tone as he spoke in her ear, “Besides, it makes me want to do it again.”
Celina’s eyes shot up in surprise when Dante started nuzzling against her. It was clear that he was a man of his words. “Nonono. No, thank you.” Celina giggled as she squirmed away from him. Dante didn’t put up much of a fight, so she was able to scramble off the bed and bolt out of the room.
While she would normally jump at the chance, she had her reasons, and those two were morning breath and the urge to pee.
“Hey, get back here!” Dante playfully called with a chuckle.
Once in the bathroom, Celina got a good look of herself in the mirror. It was worse than what she imagined. Every mark stood out loud and proud as if they were begging for attention. Countless hickeys littered across her whole neck and shoulders and, looking down, she saw much more between her thighs when Dante went down on her last night.
Images of Dante between her legs crossed her mind. His half lidded eyes trained on her every response, gliding his wet tongue up and down her sensitive parts, and nipping at her thighs with his teeth sent a familiar jolt of pleasure under her belly. Celina shook her head to shake off those sinful memories.
Fuck, he went all out.
Thank goodness it was Saturday and that her past self planned ahead. Otherwise, she would have no idea how to cover all of this at work without raising suspicions. Though, these marks looked like they weren’t going to heal by then. She could already hear her girlfriends asking all sorts of questions and teasing her about it.
Celina glanced at the doorway when she heard Dante chuckling. He was leaning against it with a full blown grin, butt naked like her, eyeing at his marvelous creations on her skin.
Not saying a word, Celina’s eyes narrowed at his neck, counting how many hickeys she left on him. The difference in numbers was clear as day. Damn, she created a monster.
Celina groaned. “It’s not fair. I gave you like ten and you returned forty.”
That did not faze Dante in the slightest. Instead, he snickered and walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. He was considerate to not rest his head on top of her bruised shoulders. “Oh c’mon. You’re the one who started this anyway. Can you really blame me for getting a bit too carried away?” He winked at her through the mirror.
Celina had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at him. She hated that he had a point. After all, it was the reason she pursued finding a way around their regenerative abilities. This was one of the accomplishments she was most proud of. So, she would wear these marks as a badge of honor—when no one was looking, of course.
Seeing the blank spots on his skin, Celina was eager to even up the score next time. A sly smirk spread across her lips. “Well, next time I won’t hold back.”
A flicker of determination lit up his eyes as his smirk matched hers. “Really? I’ll be looking forward to it, babe.”
This was going to be fun. Who knew that regeneration powers and hickeys actually mix?
Chapter 2: Nose on the Devil
Dante enters the bathroom to a stinky surprise.
(Dante)
Dante did not expect walking into the nine circles of Hell when he opened the bathroom door. The devil hunter had smelled a lot of things in his life but this—this was something else. Hell, even he couldn’t put it into words of the horrific stench lingering in the air. The poor man almost buckled to his knees as he stumbled out of the room.
“What in the—!” He gagged in a far away corner. Eyes watering, he struggled to breath without retching. His stomach threatened to reject the lunch he ate earlier.
In the midst of his chaos, someone was laughing hysterically behind him. Someone who was having too much fun for her own good.
Registering her maniac laugh, Dante connected the dots. “Why you—! Did you do this?!” He staggered to Celina, who was doubling over on a nearby couch, and started swatting at her shoulders.
Although his scowl remained, it softened, and a chuckle slipped through his clenched teeth as Celina continued laughing her ass off, undeterred by his attacks. It was impossible to stay mad at her even at the cost of his own misfortune.
Between her laughs, Celina managed to choke out in mock anger. “Now you know how I feel every time you take a shit in the bathroom!” She jabbed a finger at him.
Dante winced at her accusation. He knew he never had the best bathroom etiquette, but he thought he was making progress.
“Oh c’mon! It’s not that bad!” he protested while running a hand through his locks, but Celina met his gaze with a hard look.
“Not bad, my ass! Dante, I swear a dead carcass is shitted from your ass every time you do number two! Almost makes me want to die each time!”
Dante groaned out loud, knowing damn well he could not refute that, especially with the bomb Celina’s recently dropped. “Okay! I’ll do better next time.”
A satisfied smirk spread across her face, clearly pleased with her victory. “Good, for now on you close the lid, flush the toilet, turn on the fan, spray the air freshener and close the bathroom door. Got that?”
Dante nodded as he mentally jotted down each note. Raising a scout honor sign, he said, “Got that. I’ll be on my best bathroom behavior and make sure it smells like nothing but a field of roses for your royal highness next time.”
“You better cause, if you slip up, there’s more where that comes from,” Celina pointed out.
A chill traveled down his spine as his face fell at the implication. “Are you serious? Dear god, what on earth are you eating that results in THAT smell?” He would not dare remember the stench, but he could not imagine what diabolical food Celina ate to turn her stomach into a bio weapon.
Celina crackled like a hyena as she reached behind the armrest and pulled out a small perfume bottle. Very feminine in design and pink.
“It’s called Nose on the Devil. An angelic spell made out of a concoction of innocent herbs designed to ward off demons.” Celina gestured at the bottle with pride.
A fittin’ name, that’s for sure. Dante grimaced at the thought but Celina continued.
“The smell is putrid to demons but, to humans and angels, it’s one of the most pleasant aromas out there.”
Dante’s jaw dropped at the revelation. “You’re telling me that, while I suffer in the deep ass cracks of Hell, it smells like sunshines and rainbows to you?” he asked in disbelief. That’s not fair! He started mentally cursing at whatever angel created that godforsaken spell, already imagining them laughing at his ass from up above.
Celina shrugged nonchalantly. “So?” she asked before taking off the cap to get a whiff. She blissfully sighed. “Smells soooo good.”
Alarm bells went off in Dante’s head as he watched in horror when Celina was about to spray some on herself. He lunged forward and grabbed a hold of her offending wrist. “Whoa, whoa, whoa! No need for that!” he exclaimed in desperation.
“You don’t want me to smell good?” Celina feigned sadness, but Dante rolled his eyes, knowing that she was trying to get a rise out of him. The thought of her enjoying that so-called pleasant fragrance while he suffered—it was too much.
“Don’t give me that look. You know it’s not fair.”
The half angel threw her head back and laughed out loud. “Okay.” She capped the bottle. “I’m just playing with you but, seriously”—she pointed a finger at him—"don't make me use this again,” her voice dipping into a mock scowl.
Dante released his grip and stepped back, raising his hands up in surrender. “Don’t have to tell me twice, babe,” he warily said.
A moment of silence passed between them before Celina spoke up, “You know, I wonder how a full blooded demon would react to this if it nearly took you out.” She eyed at her creation in contemplation.
It would be a lie to say that Dante had not thought of that as well. “No doubt would probably kill ’em,” he mused with a light chuckle, finding the idea of a perfume bottle sending demons to their graves obscure. Then again, he had felt like dying when he first got a whiff of it.
“I could make more and sell it to make money.” Celina grinned, clearly excited by the prospect.
The idea of selling an anti-demon repellent in the underground market was not lost on Dante. He knew that there would be a market and, as much as the idea of making more money was tempting, he didn’t like the thought of more of that stuff being out in the world. He may be a demon hunter but he was part demon himself—a double-edged sword.
“You could… but I think the world is better off without the horrendous smell, don’t ya think?” He sounded apprehensive at the idea.
It seemed that Celina understood his connotation. “You’re right,” she then teased, “Wouldn’t want you to face a client who’s wearing this perfume on the job.”
A smirk tugged at his lips as his body relaxed from their playful banter. “Exactly, else I’d be out of commission in seconds.” He nodded.
“Mmhmm, can’t have my man suffering out there, can I?” That made Dante’s smirk widen before she continued, “Say, don’t you have to use the bathroom still?”
Honestly, Dante had no idea where his bladder went when he was assaulted by the stench. Probably almost died along with him or something. But, despite the memory of this recent trip still lingering in his mind, his bladder was protesting again.
He let out a defeated sigh, nodding. “I swear, if there’s even a hint of that noxious stench, I’m taking a piss in your laundry.”
It was still there, and his nose was assaulted again the moment he stepped closer to the bathroom door.
“Ugh, damnit!” Dante took a step back, holding his nose. The smell was just as strong and revolting as before. “How the hell is it still this bad?!”
Celina showed up next to him, unbothered by the smell. A sheepish chuckle escaped from her lips as she rubbed the back of her neck. “I may have accidentally made it potent.”
Dante’s eyes widened in disbelief at her nonchalant confession. As if she just added a bit too much salt in her cooking.
“Accidentally, my ass. More like intentionally designed to torture me. Damnit, I need a gas mask just to take a piss!” Dante groaned as he took another step back, waving his hand in front of his face in an attempt to dispel the lingering stench.
Celina patted his back with a knowing smile. “Let me go get it and bring it outside. You may want to step back.”
Dante watched in horror as Celina casually strolled into the bathroom. He had to stop himself from reaching forward to prevent her from venturing into that godforsaken room. After all, he reminded himself that she could not smell the horrendous odor he was smelling.
A second later, Celina came out, holding a small cardboard box in her hand. That had to be the item she sprayed on cause the stench was following her like the damn plague. Dante had to take a few steps back, nearly tripping over a rug.
The way Celina’s eyes gleamed at Dante showed that she was up to no good. “What if I chase you with this?” she teased while holding out the offending object.
Dante grimaced. “Oh, hell no. Don’t you dare!” Holding his hands up in mock surrender, he shouted, panic and irritation evident in his tone, “I swear I’ll unleash a hell worse than that smell if you come near me with that thing!” Thankfully, Celina didn’t.
The sound of her obnoxious laugh echoed through the agency as she rushed through the front entrance to dispose of the vile box outside. Dante breathed out a sigh of relief when the stench in the bathroom dissipated.
”Thank god,” he muttered, hurrying into the bathroom to quickly relieve himself. Being able to pee in peace was a small victory Dante rarely relished in.
A mischievous smirk tugged at his lips when Dante heard Celina’s footsteps around the corner. “Don’t think I won’t get payback!” he called out, already brewing crazy ideas in his head.
Celina snickered at his threat before responding in a defiant tone, “Try me.”
“Oooh you can bet your sweet ass I will, dollface.”
Chapter 1: Late Night Gratitude
Dante arrives home late one night after a long hunt.
(Dante)
The moon was out, and the streets were empty. Chilling breezes of the wind flew past the red devil hunter who was making his way back home after a long hunt. A hunt, which details of it, Dante did not care to remember. The only thing that mattered was that the job was done, and he could not wait to get home. To wash up, hit the sack and, most importantly, see his amazing gal, Celina.
He wondered if she was still awake at this time. The last time he recalled, during the job, was somewhere around 10 p.m. Though, it felt like an hour or so had passed since then. Dante yearned to see her since he hadn't seen her since morning, when she left for work, and he was called for an urgent job before she arrived home. He left a note behind about his whereabouts to ease her mind, but he had a feeling that she still worried for him.
He smiled at the thought of her worries despite knowing that he was Dante, the great legendary devil hunter. Humorous yet heartwarming that she cared nonetheless.
As the familiar agency came into his view, he saw the reception lights illuminating the pavement through the windows. Celina was up for sure and was confirmed when Dante entered the threshold after unlocking the front doors. Her head was already turned to him from the nearby couch. Must have heard him with her sensitive ears.
Celina’s eyes widened at the sight of Dante. “Someone has seen better days.”
Dante’s lips quirked up, fully aware that he was covered in demon blood from head to toes. “That I have… but I have been through worse.” He tried downplaying it with a dismissive wave. It was the truth, although he cannot deny that his body was aching from that tedious job.
Setting aside her book, her angelic book, he recognized, Celina padded her way to him. “Let me wash your sword and coat while you shower.” She held out a hand.
A part of Dante told him that she should not worry about it and that he’ll take care of it himself. However, the ache of his body resurfaced again, making him caved in. “Okay… thanks, dollface.” He unsheathed his sword and jacket.
Dante watched in amazement when Celina easily carried Rebellion with one hand, remembering how she used to struggle when she was fully human before.
“Okay, go on and take a shower cause you reek. There’s also dinner in the fridge for you to warm up afterward.” Celina headed over to one of the tables to start work.
His stomach growled at the mention of food. Damn, I love this woman, he remarked to himself, looking forward to eating her delicious meal after a nice hot shower.
”Yes ma’am.” Dante saluted and, once inside the bathroom, he shed all of his bloody clothes to the ground without a second thought. He knew Celina would have a fit about dirting the bathroom floor but he will take care of it himself later on. Right now, he needed that shower.
The hot water did miracles on his body, easing all of the built-up tensions from the job. He started to feel like a new man.
His eyes drifted down to the drain, watching all of the blood and dirt washed away in the stream of water. As he started scrubbing himself with soap, he heard the bathroom door open along with Celina’s voice.
“Here, I brought you some clean clothes on the sink.”
Celina was already gone when Dante peaked behind the curtain. A fresh set of clean clothes were indeed folded over the sink and his old ones were gone, presumably taken to the laundry basket in the back.
His heart swelled with love and adoration. God, I love this woman so much.
After his shower, Dante stepped out of the steamy bathroom in the set of clothes Celina knew he usually wore for bed. A light shirt and boxer.
He spotted the half angel working on his sword with great care. Rebellion was already wiped down from all of the blood and Celina had the sharpening tools laid out to start. A faint smile tugged his lips when he recalled the times he taught her how to care for her own sword, Redemption. The sword that was given to her by her late angel father.
When Celina eyed at him over her shoulder, Dante started, “you know, babe, you don’t have to—”
“Shhh! Go warm up dinner from the fridge. It’s waiting for you.” She nodded to the kitchen, leaving no room for argument with that smile of hers.
“As you wish” he chuckled and held up his hands in mock surrender, trotting to the back. Stomach growling again at the thought of her delicious food.
After warming up the meal in the microwave, Dante sat down on the small dining table where he had a good view of Celina through the doorway.
The woman switched her attention to his red leather coat and brought it to the bathroom, meeting Dante’s gaze before entering. Dante heard Celina fumbling around in the bathroom. The closest door opened and closed, and then the shower head was turned on. Sounds of sharp splatters echoed, signaling water rinsing the jacket.
It didn’t take long for Dante to finish his meal as he listened to the sound of suds scrubbing in a rhythmic rasp. My coat’s about to look brand new tomorrow, Dante mused to himself, biting his last chew.
He washed his plate—a habit forced upon him by Celina—before peeking through the bathroom’s doorway.
Celina was hanging his jacket on the showerhead with a hanger. She must have sensed him cause she glanced over her shoulder. “Coat’s clean, should be dried by tomorrow.”
“Thanks, babe. Appreciate it.” Dante smiled.
“Of course.” Celina patted his shoulder with a knowing smile as she walked past him to resume on his sword.
Dante followed suit and watched Celina preparing to sharpen the blade. She must have read his mind, noticed it herself, or both—it was time for a tune-up. He admired that about her though he felt a pang of guilt. It was his sword, after all, and he should take care of it regardless.
“I wiped down your guns and threw your clothes in the washer.” She pulled him from his thoughts. Ah yes, Celina had seen his holstered guns in the pile of dirty clothes he graciously left in the bathroom.
Dante shook his head and chuckled in admiration, the smile never leaving his face. “Damn, I feel like a royal with all of your pampering. How did I ever get so lucky to have you?”
The half angel’s lips twitched up as she got straight to work on Rebellion. Sharp, metallic rasps echoed through the place. “Cause I love you,” she said it like it was obvious, making Dante’s heart swell more with love and gratitude toward his gal.
A devil, like me, feels so fucking blessed to have your angelic love.
“You should rest,” Celina pointed out.
Dante shook his head at her. “And go to an empty bed?” He walked up to her side, eyeing her work. His body ached for rest, but her generosity made his aches recede.
“I'd rather you passed out on a soft bed than on the hardwood floor,” she chuckled before continuing. “I’ll join once I’m done here.”
Dante grinned at her remark. He had his fair share of sleeping in uncomfortable places, but nothing compares to sleeping in a nice bed with a beautiful woman like her. “Touché but what else needs to be done?”
“Well, polish Rebellion and hang your clothes dry from the washer.” Right on cue, a familiar ding echoed from the back.
“I’ll finish up here, and you take care of the clothes.” Celina opened her mouth to protest, but Dante already snatched his sword from her. “Besides, I’m faster at this than you,” he teased with a wink.
Celina scoffed but walked to the back. “As if.” Dante could hear the smile in her tone of voice.
When Celina came back, Dante had put away everything. He skipped the polishing step, as he will do it tomorrow, cause, right now, he wants to be in bed with her. To feel her warmth, to inhale her sweet scent, and to hear her heart beating against his. Man, the more he thought about it, the more he craved for her in bed.
”Let’s hit the sack, dollface.” Dante wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer.
“Yes sir.” Celina giggled as the two of them made their way upstairs to the bedroom, turning all of the lights off on their way. “But, first, you need to brush your teeth.”
Dante faked a pout but he obliged nonetheless. “Right, smart thinking, babe. Gotta keep our teeth pearly white.”
“I already brushed.”
“Of course, you did.”
Dante rejoined Celina in their bedroom after his quick bathroom trip. She was laying on her side of the bed with the nightstand lamp on, waiting for him. Turning off the lights and taking off his shirt, Dante dove underneath the covers and pulled her into his arms. Their bodies flushed together like two puzzle pieces. Celina’s head nuzzled into his chest with a content sigh, lightly tracing a finger along his toned skin.
”Mmmm… now this is what I’m talking about.” A purr rumbled through his chest. Moments like these are the true rewards for his long day. He wouldn’t ask for anything else, and he sure as hell wouldn’t dare reminisce on his life before Celina. Those days were long gone, and he looked forward to tomorrow with her.
Celina smiled against his skin and Dante continued. “I love you soooo much,” he mumbled, kissing her forehead.
The half angel looked up at her half devil, matching his dopey smile. “And I love you more.” She pecked his lips, sending sparks through his body.
Dante chuckled at her persistence. “Nah, love, I take the cake on that one.”
”Uh-huh, sure, I’ll let you keep thinking that,” she jested with a smirk before snuggling further into him. That same fiery spirit under her soft heart was what made Dante smirk back. It was like the whole package he got, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
As the angel and devil basked in the darkness, Dante allowed sleep to consume him with Celina in his arms, feeling their rhythmic hearts matching each other’s pace.
What have I ever done to deserve an angel like her?
2: anya, telepathically: do all telepaths have pink hair?
saiki, telepathically: no
anya: oh… are you a spy?! (Next to this thought is a drawing of loid forger)
saiki: no.
anya: an assassin?! (next to this thought is a drawing of yor forger)
saiki: hey, aren’t these your parents?
anya hesitates to answer.
3: saiki: I… am a normal high school student.
anya: what?! how?! You have telepathy! your life has to be exciting!
saiki: I prefer when it’s not. I don’t like telling people that I’m an esper.
4: anya think about this for a moment, before going wide eyed.
anya: does that mean you have to kill me?!
saiki: what? no?
5: saiki: why would I have to kill you.
anya: because i know about your telepathy?
saiki: watch other cartoons
anya, looking shocked: How- it’s not from a cartoon. (She is thinking of a cartoon, where someone says “you found out my secret! Die!”)
saiki: you’re replaying the episode in your head right now.
6: saiki: it seems like a better show than cyborg ciderman no. 2 at least.
anya: cyborg ciderman?
saiki: don’t watch that either.
anya: if you don’t like telling people about it (his telepathy)… do some people already know?
7: saiki thinks of his mom, aiura, toritsuka, and akechi.
saiki: a couple classmates, my family. some found out on their own.
Anya: how did it go?
saiki: really.
anya looks shocked, then says: I haven’t told anyone.
saiki: you don’t have to
anya: i know, but…
9: a shot of both of them walking, this time in silence.
10: saiki: hey, if you haven’t told anyone, did you make your psychic limiters yourself?
anya: what are psychic limiters?
saiki: the cones one your head?
anya: heh. ive fooled you. These are just hair pins!
anya: I don’t know
Sooooooo lately I've been super fixated with the fnaf daycare attendants Sun and Moon. As well as three of me old ocs. And, as a result I've been stuck thinking about a lot of different Au for the lot of them. With the lastly being inspired by some of the passive aggressive Sun trying to "nicely" chase out the new hire which is usually Y/n character.
My brain decided to combine that with my three mutant runaway lab rat oc, Asher Tilly and Kuro, with the oldest of the three weaseling his way into an assistant job in the daycare/Pizzaplex, add Y/n character as a passive aggressive handler not wanting to share their boys with some newbie and throw in some gremlin soft Moon who found out the three secret, begrudgingly kept to himself and may have gotten attached to the three lab rat runaways.
Eventually it would turn into a found family thing, with some kind of drama and fluff. I am very much a sucker for.
And idk, I'm just enjoying it and all the other au ideas running free in my head. I just wanted to write something for this idea to maybe motivate my brain to actually write out some of this idea properly.
Anyway! If anyone somehow sees this and is interested in the idea, feel free to make your own version of this au or ask me questions about it or my three feral children. I'll probably add some for them later, with maybe some old art I got commissioned for them too. Who knows.
Oh yes the comics as well. It was what the movie was based on given how they redesigned most of the characters and changed the plot of the story based on the wiki I read about the comic version. Though, I only watched the movie and rewatched it recently
I’ll be done with a discord or a discussion of it considering that the fandom is unfortunately dead smh
Would anybody be interested in a firebreather discord, im not promising anything really just curious if anyone’s actually interested in the sort of thing
