thinking about abandoned fledgling daniel and vampire loneliness again. daniel pretending to be okay with figuring out vampirism by himself and that he's getting on well on his own, but then during the days lying in a very empty coffin curled up by himself not able to sleep. daniel feeling his body die and the world around him change completely and having no one to hold his hand through it. daniel having to teach himself how to hunt and dispose of bodies but too proud to ask for help. daniel feeling himself become more and more alienated from all his human connections just to have no one who can relate or comfort him to turn to, feeling loneliness take him completely. daniel making all these new discoveries with no one to share them with. daniel with a very armand shaped hole in his life. even daniel who gets back together with armand having a hard time with trust and being extremely clingy and possessive because he can't stand the thought of ever feeling like he did on those mornings again when armand wasn't there to tell him it's okay.
