because i don't pass as male so it's usually "this is silas he's trans pronouns are he/him" & then it's a toss-up on if that will actually be respected. still sometimes go the route of my birthname in front of people's relatives to avoid the embarrassment of it all, which is further embarrassing because i don't respond much to my birthname LOL
#everyone in my life is so accustom to me being refer to with he/him pronouns that when someone uses she/her#we all get visibly confused. it's a bad front all around but it's still employed when necessary#or i just don't get taken home. people avoid introducing me to parents/grandparents in general#anonymous
