actually i had a job over christmas where i personalised christmas decorations & this lady gave me hers & told me she wanted me to write ‘brunel’ on it bc that’s the name of her dog. and she said ‘he was named after the victorian engineer’ and i was like ‘omg i love him!!’ like that is a normal thing to say about this dead victorian man
