Tumgik
#or i can just shut up bc this was an info dump and a half lol
Note
Thanks so much for clarifying! I very much didn't want to push any boundaries 💜
- My choice of ship is for sure Baldur's Gate 3. (Only request: plz NOT Raphael, Mizora, or Minthara - one is legit a trauma trigger, the other two are... Reasons.)
- Gender: any and all, I'm too bi for choices
- Personality: I'm autistic, and my mood is consistently more changeable than I think it is... dunno if Sag/Leo/Cap means anything to you (it's cool if it doesn't), but it does to me in the sense that I can see what it means in myself. I'm thoroughly Chaotic Good according to every alignment description I've seen (and all my friends lol). Still a dingus who frequently courts red flags for reasons I can only identify as Traumas lmao.) I'm very mentally scattered. Burnt-out gifted kid who immediately chose to gradually swap my waning INT for WIS, inasmuch as I could. A soul who intensely wants to help everyone I care about, but can't for all sorts of reasons, but dammit do I try anyway. Fiery, feisty, but still learning to actually be assertive. Cuddly with anyone and everyone who is interested. I love radically with all my heart, be ye friend or partner, but breaking it means I'm either a sobbing broken mess, planning a murder, or both. Please don't let these taint the results bc they're still options: I honestly believe and have been told by others that I'm a perfect mix between Karlach and Astarion, personality-wise. I'm down bad for just about all the tieflings in the game/in general (I relate to them a lot), and almost always play one, but all races are welcome in my heart. I don't really draw lines between close friend and partner; I believe closeness and intimacy aren't things that should be constricted at all between one or the other (there is literally a group chat saved in my phone called "Platonicule," if that gives you an idea 😂). Generally amiable to, but wary of, strangers. Hobbies: I make homemade skincare and balms for the homies, cooking, and everything about music and linguistics. I'd also love to try my hand at ceramics/pottery someday. (Also I don't know where to put this, but definitely high sex drive, kinky, and switch/vers but usually end up sub/bottom? Which I'm not conflating, just that's usually how it plays out. Sorry that all was... A Lot lmao, I'm also overly specific/dunno when to shut up. 😅)
- I ship you with Aziraphale from Good Omens! He seems like he'd be absolutely elated to help you finish your writings, and even go out of his way to find a good publisher for your book (and maaaaaybe do a teensy little miracle to tip the scales in favor of them accepting it, if the situation called for it). Fastidious, fashionable, would be as sweet to you as you to him, and would be quite happy with letting you have your alone time (he needs it too lbr.) Also if he's not at least on the ace spectrum himself (he totally is tho), he certainly would never make unwanted advances. Plus, I mean, living in a cozy bookshop that your partner keeps clean, organized, and cute as fuck? Idk that sounds like a dream. You could chat for hours and hours about history if you so chose (and his hilariously unique perspective on it since he's seen most/all of it.) Honestly I also now can't stop thinking of a Movie Night with you two and Crowley that goes a little chaotic because Crowley has a very different and probably intentionally contrarian analysis and keeps getting half-jokingly offended when either or both of you have different opinions. There may be thrown popcorn. 😂
I ship you with Gale
Tumblr media
Your relationship can bested be summed up in burnt out autistic "gifted" kid solidarity, in the best way possible.
You and Gale are in a constant loop of affirming your love for each other it makes the pair of you nearly impossible to be around. You info dump, you cuddle, you cook, you are just able to be, together.
Gale is also very deceptive in his chaotic good tendencies. While it may look like you're the one doing something crazy, Gale only makes a meager attempt at protest before following after and justifying your actions later. He does, however, bring some of your ideas and scattered thoughts into a sure focus, allowing you to accomplish what you actually set out to do instead of leaving it all in your head. You, meanwhile, help remind him that wisdom is sometimes more important than intelligence.
He's fully supportive of all your areas of study, even putting aside space in the tower for you to practice pottery. Just make sure to save a few pieces for him to admire and he'll be happy.
And as for the sex, let's just say for all Astarion can talk the talk, Gale walks the walk with avid enthusiasm. (He's the horniest mother fucker in the squad, fight me)
Tumblr media
I'd honestly be nervous about making Crowley jealous somehow, but if all three of us can be besties, I'm down. Lol

hey!! we haven't really interacted much, but I was hoping to get to know you more!! what kpop groups are you interested in? I'm not familiar with many of them and I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about them? (no pressure, you don't have to if you don't want to!!
yeah of course I can tell you some!! my top three groups are nct, seventeen and stray kids, but i stan a handful more than those (I can talk about the other ones more if you want, I just dont wanna overwhelm u with information lol)
stray kids - my ult, currently has 8 members but started with 9 (we dont really talk about the ex member bc he turned out to be a really shitty dude), debuted in 2018 but had a predebut survival show in 2017 that determined the members of the group. even though the survival show isnt necessary viewing to stan them, I still recommend it bc it's a big part of their history (although it's kinda hard to find now with eng subs, unfortunately :/)
stray kids were monster rookies when they debuted, and (in my opinion) consistently self produce bangers. I'd recommend songs like gods menu, question, awkward silence and heros soup to get an idea of what kind of music they put out (they do a lot of different genres so I just picked a few of my favorites that arent too similar in sound). if you wanna get to know personalities more, you should probably check out some of their variety show episodes (weekly idol and whatnot, I'd recommend watching vlives but ever since they updated the website idk how to work it lol)
nct - has an infinite concept meaning the group can basically have new members whenever the company decides they want to add more. the group has subunits: nct u (interchangeable members, basically anyone can be in it depending on the song), nct dream (was supposed to be just for minors, but after fans complained a bunch about mark lee leaving the group since he was 20 years old, they made it so that there wasnt a graduating system anymore. not really sure what the concept for the group is now lol), nct 127 (none of the members leave the group but members can be added whenever) and technically wayv is apart of nct but sm (their company) half the time acts like they arent (wayv is a chinese subunit). uhhh this group is really hard to explain considering it has like 23 members now? I believe? does lots of different genres, each subunit has different dynamics, but overall they're all very talented and charming! I can't spit out facts about nct like I do skz bc I've been stanning skz since predebut but I only started stanning nct in 2018 and it's hard for me to keep up with them bc of all the different units 😭 but ik they debuted in 2016 and each subunit has put out a lot of bangers. I'll suggest a few songs from each unit tho :> (and if u wanna get to know their personalities, I'd recommend you watch variety shows for each unit like I said with skz. it's the easiest way to get to know a group, in my opinion)
wayv: moonwalk, take off, dream launch
nct u: 90s love, yestoday, the 7th sense
nct dream: my first and last, love again, 119
nct 127: cherry bomb, simon says, 0 mile
seventeen - even tho they arent my ult, this group has talent that wows me more than any other group ever. literally not a single bad song, deadass the kings of choreography AND they're funnier than any other group I've ever stanned. would highly recommend seventeen as a group to start off with because even though they have a lot of members (13), theyre very memorable and they never fail to impress.
they debuted in 2015 ? I believe ? with, as I said, 13 members. each member falls into a subunit of either dance, vocal or hip hop, but these units dont serve a huge purpose as they make most of their music as a group and then each unit will usually have a song on the album. this group produces all of their music and has a huge part in basically everything they put out, making them a self produced idol group, which I think is poggers. i also just think this group is poggers bc they've made me enjoy ballads even tho i usually find them boring as fuck. if u wanna get to know them, try watching their episode on men on a mission (it is on netflix) I genuinely think it's like the funniest variety show episode I've ever seen a group do.
some song suggestions: very nice, fear, clap, still lonely, fast pace
sorry if this is a lot, I didn't mean to just word vomit in response to this ask but kpop hyperfixation went brr and I just regurgitated everything I could think of lol

Timekeeper's assistants AU
Alright y'all! This is gonna be my info dump post for the Timekeepers assistant Au- buckle up cause it's gonna be a long one!
Inspired by @queendibz post here
The entire purpose of the assistant squad is to keep all the time lines running smoothly- this can range from stopping a world ending event to making sure things misplaced by natural ghost portals get put back into the right time and place.
So First up on the crew list,
Dan:
-Dan definitely isn't a homicidal maniac anymore but he's not 100 percent "redeemed" either.
-I mean he's probably still a bit of sadist but he tries not to be?
-The best description I can give is that he's in recovery, basically.
-So, Clockwork knew that Dan would eventually bust out of the thermos just because it wasn't built to hold a ghost of his power level for a prolonged period of time. But beyond that?? He has no idea about anything in regards to Dan. Since Dan's creation was averted, his timeline doesn't exist anymore. He's a paradox that exists outside of time, and unfortunately, that means he's the one entity in the multiverse that exists in Clockwork's blindspot. There's no way for him to know what Dan's going to do next.
-Anyway, Dan eventually breaks out of the thermos fully intending to Fuck Shit Up, And Clockwork makes a point of informing him that if he leaves the clock tower he will cease to exist. (Like Dan, the tower exists outside of time, so he's safe there.)
-Dan is the first member of the assistant squad. Granted, it took a while for him to come around to the idea of helping Clockwork but he got there eventually.
-Dan is an entity that was born out of the rage and grief of two very broken people and he has so much shit he's working through as a result
-One of the first things he had to do was recognize and accept that he's an entity that's completely separate from Vlad and Danny. He might have all their memories and the weight of their mistakes on his shoulders, and on top of that, the atrocities he himself committed because of them. The first step is realizing that he doesn't have to be defined by the people that made him.
-It's a really fucking difficult thing to do tho and he's got a lot of weird emotions in regards to Vlad, Danny and the Fentons as a result. A near constant identity crisis, self loathing, daddy issues, something that could arguably be called an Oedipus complex, (FUCKING THANKS, VLAD)
-Cannot stand the smell of fast food, it makes him nauseous and the sight of Nasty Burger sauce alone is enough to make him vomit Ectoplasm.
-He's just a hot mess all around y'all
-He tries to keep his interactions with the Danny's as minimal as possible at first bc of this. The first time he meets them in person he shape shifts into Danny like he did in TUE and just pretends to be one of them. Some of them have had interactions with their respective Dan's already and would be super wary of him and probably pretty freaked out otherwise.
-Dan is eventually allowed to leave the clocktower for supervised "Field missions" with the aid of a time medallion to keep him from poofing out of existence, but it takes a while for clockwork to build up that level of trust.
-Dan's shapeshifting ability Actually comes into play a bit on a lot of those missions, since he can Mimic Danny it also makes sense that he'd be able to impersonate Vlad in the same way. Granted he's not incredibly comfortable taking on either of their appearances but it does help him hone his shapeshifting ability to the point where he's able to pick and choose features from both Vlad and Danny and sorta make his own human disguise.
-Most of the time he acts as the eye in the sky from the tower, monitoring for timeline anomalies and then notifying the appropriate member of the assistant squad.
-He has a room under the clock tower that he operates from. I kinda like the idea of there being like, catacombs down there? Anyway he's got all kinds of monitors and view screens and he very rarely leaves. It also doubles as his "living space." He doesn't need to sleep but he's got a big mess of a pillow fort that he crashes in regardless bc sometimes you just NEED to be unconscious for a while. The catacombs are also absolutely full of those little blob ghosts that wander around the zone bc They're attracted to the ecto energy the tower gives off. He's really annoyed by them at first but they grow on him after a while and now he just dotes on them.
-There's a specific throw pillow sized one that likes to hang out in Dan's room a lot and he ended up getting a little over attached to the stupid thing. His name is Dorian. Bc he's a gift.
-SIR THATS MY EMOTIONAL SUPPORT BLOB
-Dan's appearance has changed slightly. He wears his hair loose now and it's kinda just this big fiery mane when it's not contained. His cape is more of a cloak now, it has a hood and he wears it sorta pinned together at the shoulder so the DP logo is covered.
-Dan's relationship with the rest of the Danny's is kinda weird, and a little strained. He has a hard time being around them for very long because, well, he used to sort of be them? Except not really? He does care about them tho, and the last thing he'd want is for one of them to end up like him.
-His relationship with clockwork definitely starts out pretty familial, after he becomes his assistant, anyway. There's room for that to develop into meddling minutes but I'm not entirely sure if I'm gonna go that route yet.
-The Danny's only ever hear his voice for a while before he finally let's them meet him for real, so they end up calling him Charlie for a while as a joke. Cause Ya know. Charlie's angels. Even after Charlie still ends up being his designated name on missions.
Mer! Danny:
-Was recruited bc a lot of the shit that gets sucked through natural portals ends up in a body of water somewhere and when that happens he's on call to retrieve it.
-Is Actually not at all ghostly! Mer Danny's situation is basically the plot of H2O (just add water), or if you haven't seen that, Aquamarine. And by that I mean he's only a merfolk in water.
-He's an electric eel
-His Jack and Maddie are marine biologists, with a particular interest in marine cryptids
-We're taking sea monsters baby!!!
-Not entirely sure how this Danny ended up half mer yet but I'll figure it out, lmao.
-14 years old
-His nickname/ designation is "Moray"
Crown Prince! Danny:
-Nickname/designation is Prince / Princey
-16 years old
-Not allowed to go anywhere in the zone without the Fright knight bc of some ancient ghost law bullshit, so he has a constant babysitter.
-He's next in line bc he sealed away Pariah, but can't take the throne until he is both, A) at least 18 years and B) Completely deceased
-Vlad is his Regent bc he did have a part in the whole sealing the previous king thing, but he's also not completely dead so his power is super limited there.
-As Prince Danny has the crown of fire in his ghost form, although now the name is kinda ironic seeing as it's completely frozen over. It's blue now and it smokes like dry ice.
-As Regent, Vlad has the ring of rage for "safe keeping"
-Vlad and Danny are pretty much constantly at each other's throats, fright knights probably had to shut down more than a few of Vlad's attempts to usurp the crown from Danny through combat.
-Princey deals with the timeline issues that involve the ghost zones' internal / political affairs, and he's gotten very well versed with dealing with the Observants.
Winged! Danny :
-15 years old
-Mallard duck wings
-His Vlad is a swan
-Comes from a family of waterfowl, Jack is a goose, and Maddie is a white swan. Both he and jazz are ducks bc of their grandparents.
-As Fenton his wings are white, like jazz, and as phantom they turn black with a green iridescent sheen.
-He's trans
-Nickname/ designation is inviso Bill. Bc ducks have bills haha get it-
-Ghostly wail?? Nah son he's gotta killer QUACK
-Absolute besties with Mer!Danny/ Moray, sometimes they go swimming together after a mission.
Clone! Danny:
-Physically he's a 12-year-old, but he's only been alive for a few months.
-Alt universe where Vlad manages to stabilize the perfect clone with his own DNA.
-Dani still exists, and the original danny from his time line also rescued the other problematic clones.
-Doesnt like the fact that he's a clone, and very much wants them all DEAD. Bc them running around is a reminder that he's not the real danny.
-Human half looks the same aside from the widows peak and the mallen streak. His ghost half takes after plasmius. Blue skin, and the Hazmat kept it's original white colors.
-Probably has fangs and a forked tounge.
-Not so much a member of the squad as he is someone that they need to be keeping an eye on.
-Does NOT get along with them.
-Dan enjoys making him uncomfortable.
-Designation is Masters / the brat (not to his face tho)
Family Breakfast AU! Danny:
-A BABY
-The boy is a fucking overpowered todler okay. He's an 8 year old.
-The biological son of his Vlad, was born a Halfa. Jack, Vlad and Maddie got their shit together and are in a healthy poly relationship.
-Got separated from Vlad one time in the zone and inadvertently adopted by the assistant squad and clockwork.
-His Vlad is aware of the squad and just. Dad's the crap out of the Danny's as a result. It makes for some..... interesting interactions.
-I can't think of a nickname so I'm just gonna be lazy and say he gets to be the one Tru Danny bc cute little kind privileges lmao.
Full ghost! Danny:
-15 years old, will always look 14.
-Nickname/designation is Toast
-Died in the portal accident and got fucking FRIED.
-He always smells like somethings burning.
-He's really bright and sorta sparks a bit, you can see his bones glowing through the hazmat.
-He still leave the zone to protect his version of amity, but lives with clockwork full time.
Canon Danny (NOT PHANTOM PLANET COMPLIANT) :
-Basically show Danny, except phantom planet never happened fuck you
-Joined the crew after the events of de stabilized
-Also he's trans fuck butch
-Franken! Danny
-Yall remember that Headless Danny Au? This is my take.
-Is Actually 20 years old, but physically stuck at age 14. Bc he's a walking corpse :)
-Came from a timeline that was directly parallel to Full ghost! Danny. He dies in the portal accident, but jack and Maddie are in the lab when it happens and manage to sort of bring him back using a combination of science and freaky ghost junk.
-So he's basically possessing/ stuck inside of his own dead body. Which, is thankfully not rotting or going into rigor mortis bc Ectoplasm is rather similar to formaldehyde, but he's not the most durable thing and bits and pieces fall off from time to time.
-Like his head. For example.
-He's pretty desensitized to it at this point and if he loses a leg after a ghost fight he doesn't see anything wrong with sitting down on the curb of a main street to stich it back on. His being dead isn't exactly a secret.
-Don't ever ask him to "give you a hand" bc he can and will not hesitate to pop one off and Chuck it at you.
-Said hand and any other body part will continue to function just fine even if it isn't attached to anything, btw.
-Nickname/ designation is Adam. Bc. Ya know. that's the name Frankenstein's monster gave itself.
Post Phantom Planet! Danny:
-A very jaded 22 year old who is driven only by spite and enough caffeine to kill a horse
-Very, very tired of the hero thing.
-Being a global celebrity isn't all it's cracked up to be.
-Decided to follow Vlads lead and fuck off to space for a while. Partially to get away from everyone and also partially bc he kinda feels responsible for the fact that the only other person like him and probably floating DEAD in the void somewhere? And yeah Vlad fucked up all on his own but what if he'd tried harder to get through to him things could have been different-
-Joins the crew after a natural portal opens up in space and decides to help out and use clockworks resources to try and track down his Vlad.
-Nickname/ Designation is Polaris, aka the north star.

More Lab stuff
(more insight regaurding the lab stuff i mentioned in the last post-)
reminder note: Siren and Sebastian were younger during this time, under 13 years old
oh and if this seems like its typed weird then its bc they were copied from texts so bare with me-)
more regaurding topic about the Lab arc !!
there's a detail regaurding that
so vervain and wolfsbane
those plants were extremely hard to get
(this has always been a thing in oc world-
or Crypttales, i should start saying the actual au name damn i have too many oc worlds- when did this happen 💀)
that's what made keeping Siren and Sebastian risky
they had enough to make them woozy
but not enough to make them pass out
thats why they were always awake during surgical procedures
vervain and wolfsbane was already being taken and used by hunters (the fact that monster hunters were stocked up on these plants is why werewolves and vampires became so "rare")
so the lab couldn't get a hold of those materials
these plants were only found in the wild
and again
monsted hunters are always working in the wild
so the hunters get to it first
anyways, at that Lab, they wanted to study everything about vampires and werewolves. there are plenty of reasons but i listed that in a past post
to be able to operate and keep them alive, they needed to understand the anatomy
and that was the challenge,,
so before getting a look on the insides and the cutting and all that, they dedicated a day before to understanding the outsides
so basically they reached horrifying levels of inhumane and had horrible methods such as overwhelming them/exhausting them in ways (strapping them down didn't work, even if they were woozy with vervain or wolfsbane, being strapped down wouldn't hold them because the adrenaline kicks in)
they never did the studying and the surgical procedures on the same day so at least Sebastian and Siren got a break- they'd just dump them back into their individual cell after gathering information to prepare for the surgical procedures the next day
ofc Kaleb didn't go near them after bc well, he can clearly tell by their behavior that they arnt in the appropriate state-
he was sad he couldn't help comfort them in any way but he at least brought Sebastian a boiled egg (Sebastians favorite food 🤩)
(Sebastian would be huddled in the corner growling at anyone who gets close, so Kaleb just gently rolled the boiled egg too him
meanwhile he couldn't even step into Sirens cell or else Siren would cling to him and not let go, he felt horrible about not being able to do anything for siren (tho Siren didn't really need any comforting, unlike Sebastian, he didn't care as much)
also Kaleb cried
a lot
about what happens to them overall
the only reason he stayed was bc he was the only one giving them a hint of love
after Siren and Sebastian got out
he stayed but with a new mission
to find a way to shut the lab down
he was never successful
until Sasha got older
she started to help him and they basically made it into what it is now (still studies supernatural creatures, but they dont make anyone suffer nor hold any supernaturals there as test subjects)
Kaleb didn't even know half of the things happening either until he was given more authority
luckily he found out about this immediately on his own, the moment he noticed that Siren was being more "clingy" and Sebastian was growling at people (which he rarely does)
he realized that something is wrong
the others were messing/experimenting with Siren and Sebastian's behavior aswell
he was never told about anything going on with them until after he got "promoted", he had to figure it out on his own
which scared him even more because "what if this isn't the only thing they're doing to them?"
(he didn't have access to info, he just had to keep Siren and Sebastian alive and healthy enough)
so yeah Siren and Sebastian were seen as animals and the fact that they were forced into their cryptic forms bc of vervain/wolfsbane didn't help
because with certain supernaturals (vampires, werewolves, and seamonsters) its a fine line between animal and being
and during this time, Sebastian and Siren leaned more towards "animal", and in their cryptic forms, being seen as a being is almost pure luck
they were nonverbal aswell in this arc
so yeah, no surprise that they mostly weren't seen as real beings during this time
-
--
extra ramble i wanna add
Ever since the start of forming crypttails, this type of conflict between human and supernatural has been an existing thing! and it still is the biggest factor, and will most definitely have a much bigger play soon,,
The lab arc with Sebastian and Siren is the most direct thing regaurding this. Humans often dehumanized supernaturals, just like Sebastian and Siren delt with at that lab,,
Humans saw them as things like labrats, or potential power sources it wasn't one sided though, supernaturals saw humans as food and/or objects or "pets"
but there are plenty of peaceful/casual dynamics between the two, like Kaleb and Sasha in the lab arc, but also like everyone in the kingdom
and i love to play around with this,,

as someone who writes fic and would give literally anything to rant about my lu ocs to anyone who will listen, talk to me. info dump. i want to know your headcanons for wild's family.
OKAY SO, I don't have much so far, but first of all, Wild's family name is Bry but his mother is related to the Lon Lon lineage (thereby making him part of the Hero of Time bloodline).
His father's name is Sylvian, partially because 'Sylvian Bry' kinda rolls off the tongue and partially because it means forest dweller and since the character is based on Time, at least appearance-wise, it lowkey fits. He's got blond hair with a middle part and the anime curtain bangs, he also has a missing eye with a scar over it, I haven't decided on if he lost the eye completely and had it sewn shut or has some kind of prosthetic, or if just his sight on that side is gone. He's the captain of the royal guard and before Link, he was prided on being one of the best swordsmen in the kingdom. He's kinda tall and prefers claymores over a sword and shield. Don't let his resting bitch face fool you, he's a total himbo with bi wife energy. Not just that, but he also has a bi wife! Good for him! Also might be half Sheikah? idk yet.
Link's little sister's name is Ilian (Like Ilia but I wanted it to be different), She's kind of a classic weird girl who likes to grab bugs and will probably catch a snake for fun. She's very quiet and I was thinking about making her deaf so the main form of communication in the Bry household is a form of sign language. She got her hair cut all short after an incident where it got stuck in a bush and she now refuses to let it get longer than her shoulders. She and Link take after their mother by being horse girls. I'm thinking about making her 6-8 so she could be small enough for Link/Wild to easily pick up... no reason. Totally not because it would be adorable for him to pick her up while fighting to protect her. not at all.
Now for their mother, Anya Lon Lon. (First name could be changed, I'm not super happy with it yet), it's mostly because I wanted her name to be a reference to the horse god Malanya, but I might change her name to something with the prefix of Mal. She has Malon energy. She is The Horse Girl. Her family owns Lon Lon Ranch, but her elder sister is the one that's going to inherit it after their mother dies. She is kinda stronk and more likely to resort to violence than her husband who is literally trained in the art of violence. She is a redhead and is very freckly from being outside all the time. She's also a pretty decent archer as she had to learn how to keep wolves away from her farmland. She can pick up Sylvian, she's decently buff.
that's kinda all I have so far, and if you want to tell me about your LU OCs (or ask me more about mine so I can develop them) I would love to hear about them! (preferably through asks bc I struggle at carrying conversations and I don't want to leave you on read accidentally)

okay, @mithrilwren, since you expressed interest, here it is! (no need to respond--it’s just late and days later, so I figured you’d like to know)
my reactions to ep9 below the cut. spoilers, obviously.
Full disclosure before i go on: I read a spoiler that led me to believe finn was going to die in this one, so basically everything we got was an improvement to what i was expecting going in. The only other thing i knew was that KMT was criminally underused, as well. Other than that, blank slate with incredibly low expectations
I loved the theme of not being alone. It was heavy handed, sure, but the fact that each of the core trio started the film believing they were alone in some way (rey’s “i can’t feel them”, isolating herself bc she believes no one understands; finn’s “I thought i was the only one”; poe saying that last time they asked for help, no one came), and then each of them finds out they’re NOT, UGH let me tell you I cried. Actually, i started crying when Jannah mentioned her stormtrooper call sign, and basically didn’t stop crying after that. I’m just a sucker for that trope, y’all.
on that note, though, finn’s ‘believing he was alone’, like many other things with finn, could have been better executed/more obvious before the actual conversation with jannah--even just a mention in a previous scene, like rey and poe had, would make the parallel stronger
also, finn saying “you don’t understand, not like leia and I do”--I’m simultaneously so happy that we HAVE FORCE SENSITIVE FINN and so frustrated that it...didn’t go anywhere? i’ve had a couple days to think about it, and it’s so exciting, so vindicating that finn is force-sensitive, but at the same time, he only used those powers to sense when rey was in danger, but never once got the chance to help her out in those instances--or help himself out! Could you imagine how cool like a “danger-sense” thing on the battlefield would be? A half-second shot that shows that his connection to the force is more than just ‘Rey fell down a well!’ I can’t help but wonder what would have happened if rian johnson hadn’t nerfed finn’s storyline in tlj--would we have gotten more development of force-sensitive finn if there was more time for that development?
I get the sense that this is an incredibly new realization to him in tros, even though we’ve been seeing the evidence since ep7. I just want a scene where he got to tell rey. or something even more explicit then “how do you know?” “a feeling.”
but also, can you hear han solo screaming “that’s not how the force works!” from the afterlife, even as finn proves that that is, in fact, how the force works?
But looping back around to ‘you don’t understand, not like leia and I do”--HOW does finn understand? What is he feeling from the force? what pulls him? what does he notice? He can clearly sense both rey and kylo (even if neither of them can sense him....), but what else? Did he and leia talk about it when rey refused to talk to him about it? did leia sense something in him, but wanted him to come to her? was he going to tell leia after he told rey, but then never got the chance? there is so much wasted potential here, guys, and i know they were trying to tell some story about palpatine and skywalker bloodlines righting the wrongs of their ancestors or whatnot but....why bring in force sensitive finn and not give him that connection? why not do something other than just go “he’s got it! the force! yup!” and leave it at that? it would have been so EASY to do more! ESPECIALLY if tlj hadn’t had some half-assed rehash of finn’s emotional journey from tfa instead of like, a logical continuation of his character.
(can you guess my favorite character, guys?)
BUT REALLY, others have talked about it more eloquently than me, but finn deserved a more central role, because he is the emotional core of the movie. and has the most compelling backstory and character trajectory (that is sadly ignored). and is clearly positioned as a foil to kylo ren, but then NEVER GETS TO BE THAT FOIL after that first fight in ep7.
but seriously did you see that hug at the end? with finn in the middle, on the verge of tears, holding onto the two people he’s been trying to keep safe for the whole film? I’m gonna cry again.
poe and rey sniping at each other was very ‘i’m closer to finn’ ‘no i’m closer’ ‘finn take my side’ like did you see how rey looked when finn agreed with poe in that first scene? they figured it out eventually, but it was....unexpectedly great to see the growing pains in that relationship.
More things, unrelated (or less related) to Finn:
KMT deserved better.
Carrie Fisher’s lines were really shoehorned in in some of those scenes. The “be optimistic” line? That was a REACH. I know they’re working with what they’ve got but sheesh.
I may be one of the few people that did not enjoy Adam Driver’s choice of loose, almost flippant body language once he Decided to be Good. The way he shrugs when he comes face to face with the Knights of Ren? It was annoying. I thought that, even though he was trying to change, he shouldn’t have dropped the intensity Kylo Ren has had up to this point. It just...rides the line of being a completely different character, and that’s not fair to the narrative. because ben solo is not a different character. ben solo is kylo ren, and he killed his dad and committed multiple genocides. you don’t just like...shrug and huff and smile in life or death combat because you decided to toss your emosaber into the ocean.
other than that, i didn’t think that kylo ren’s ending was bad. giving his life to atone for his original sin? Resurrecting the future of the jedi after massacring all hope of a future for the jedi so long ago? and then promptly dying and not kissing anyone? i thought it was poetic. and let me tell you i’ve never been a fan of kylo, and i don’t think he was redeemed in this act, or absolved of his crimes. and yes i’m staying out of the main tag and have no idea what others are saying, but i thought it was a fitting end.
also....say what you will about the force bond, but that moment with the lightsaber? was undeniably awesome.
(okay okay, i was talking to my husband later, and he was like “i didn't see the kiss as romantic. I saw it as a moment of ‘i finally see you’ before he died” which i’ll go with, honestly.)
but also....the force bond shut out finn from the force narrative of this last movie. and it didn’t need to. which is annoying.
i’m confused about poe’s backstory (and also it’s racist). weren’t his parents heroes of the resistance? didn’t he grow up with the resistance? wasn’t this previously established? jj what are you doing.
I loved jannah and the defected stormtroopers. the fact that the whole battalion laid down their weapons together...just another ‘we are stronger together’ moment that had me weeping.
but also....why is jannah the one getting the moment about finding her parents, and rey gets like, sooooo many backstory dumps about her parents and no one even mentions the fact that finn’s parents are out there somewhere too?
red racer chick’s line ‘they took all the children years ago’ was just....so quietly heartbreaking. can she talk to finn? or jannah? or one of the others? do the people of the galaxy know that the stormtroopers that attack them are kidnapped, brainwashed child soldiers? do they know? do weeping mothers pull on stormtroopers’ guns during raids, pleading with them to bring their baby back? do stormtroopers know that they were once taken from loving families? do they know intellectually and just not realize what that means until they are deployed (and by that point in most cases it is too late)? i need more on these stormtroopers.
there was probably more to mention, but i’ve forgotten it...so summary: i enjoyed some of the themes, and extremely low expectations did a lot for my enjoyment of the plot. there was a lot of info dumping and strange pacing that could at least partially, if not mostly, be blamed on inconsistent vision from abrams and johnson, but like...you’re adults working on an enormous movie trilogy. freakin’ sit down and communicate, and don’t just try to undo what the other has done in the previous film. so i mean...i had fun with my dad and husband on a long holiday weekend, but it’s not like, a work of art or anything. and i’m not saying it has to be, but at least there was some attempt in this movie to continue threads of character development. ....for some of the characters. so. inconsistent, with crumbs of The Good Stuff, but not enough to make it an actually good movie.
also KMT deserved better.

Another anon. You have fi and it's painfully obvious to anyone with half a brain; you're either extremely misinformed or in denial.I'm rather curious as to why you all seem to think having fi is a sickness or some shit. Most posts and answers about it seem caricatural and way off the mark.I do hope you overcome the herd mentality and start thinking for yourself soon. Oh, and dismissing the anon as soon as you got reassurance from your friends ? Very mature of you.Very soc blind ti !
ok but what do you get from telling me this after I’ve said like a million times to justify your claims so I can understand where you’re coming from? very Ti of you to dump this info on me with no concern as to whether you’ve been understood or not :)
I think you’re the one mistakenly lumping me with this “herd” you speak of lmao. if you looked through my blog you’d notice that I don’t hate fi. I’ve made fun of it before bc it’s funny as shit when it’s assblasted but that’s it lmao, it’s really not that serious. if I actually turn out to be a fi user then cool? then I’ll be closer to knowing myself and mbti better. it’s not as personal as you people are making it out to be.
“dismissing the anon as soon as you got reassurance from your friends”
did you read my post. I had genuine questions for the anon and they completely failed to answer ANY of them, opting to ignore them and keep telling me the same shit over and over again with no argument to back them up. is that not enough to dismiss them? they were being ridiculous. it’s clear to me that you guys are soc users too since you’re so quick to talk about yourselves like some kind of cult and immediately assume everyone else is the same when they’re not. what do you even mean by “reassurance from your friends”? very soc of you to assume we’re friends lmao. they’re literally just mutuals, and they weren’t even overtly “defending” me or whatever, they were pointing out the obvious flaws in the anon’s arguments (if you can call them that). not everyone has that weird clique mentality, shut your soc.

pl ea se info dump about your ocs
oh boy ok you,,, don’t want this but u already asked and it’s too late to go back so im just gonna start talking
ok so i have like 2 separate oc worlds and 3 seperate groups of ocs within those (these are just the main ones, there’s ones i don’t think abt anymore and ones i’ve abandoned and fan characters and stuff but if i went over all of that i’d be here all day so i’ll just stick with these)
so the first world is just our world, modern day, but with magic. there’s this one town, barnsley, georgia, that’s cut off from the rest of the world. most ppl drive by without ever noticing it, and if someone tries to go in who’s not wanted the town will disappear or try to kill them or just do something to keep them out. it’s a vaguely sentient town. in barnsley there’s a big forest and no one’s ever gone in and come out the other side. there’s ambiguous danger in the forest, mostly faeries who will make you fall in love with them and then kill you and harvest your bones and stuff.
so there’s like 4-6 characters depending on where we’re looking at in terms of what storyline i’m following (this is the one that i did nanowrimo for three (3) times and have over 100,000 words of thrown out content for and obsess over constantly so it has the most solid plot and there’s a lot of it) so anyways i’ll just go over all 6 and try to make it as simple as possible without talking about converging storylines and alternate drafts and stuff
ok! so! vi larson-park is the daughter of one of barnsley’s 3 great magicians! her mom could do all sorts of crazy magic and i can’t get into the parents’ backstory here bc they have a whole OTHER story and that’s just. too much (maybe i’ll do that later? we’ll see) so yeah her mom did magic and also made some bad deals and stole some stuff from the woods and indirectly caused some ppls deaths but it’s like fine probably. so vi grew up with her mom, natalie, her mom’s witch girlfriend, erica, and erica’s twin brother, simon (who i’ll get into later and also who doesn’t exist in half the scrapped drafts) in this big empty DEFINITELY HAUNTED house on the edge of town where erica grew up and they were good and happy. then like a year ago natalie was killed by nick, who i’ll also get into later, and that’s kinda the end of her story, vi and erica are obviously devastated and they have a funeral and vi starts having the occasional odd dream here and there, but things go back to normal after awhile. vi has absolutely no aptitude for magic, and because of that she often feels alienated by erica and simon who are VERY magical and always talking about things she doesn’t understand. she’s fiercely loyal and protective and not really scared of anything. she’s always wanted to know what’s in the woods but knows better than to go looking
tyler is vi’s best friend and also 50% whole entire Not Human. he either came from the woods or was found outside a random gas station in like arizona or something depending on which draft i’m going by, but either way he was found around two years ago and has been clinging to vi ever since. his backstory is a big unknown to the human characters and no one really knows anything about him. he’s a faerie prince, the son of the erlking, who’s sort of the ambiguous villain of the story but i’ll get into him later. he has 3 brothers, sorrel, dain, and kell. sorrel is the oldest and known as the winter prince, then there’s kell for spring, dain for summer, and tyler himself for autumn. (btw his name isn’t actually tyler technically it’s robin but i'm not gonna get into that rn.) sorrel is cool and collected and stone cold bitch, and all he wants is to be king so he roped tyler into helping him try and kill their dad, which failed, so then he lost his position in the royal court and now he’s doing tons of morally gray stuff in an attempt to get back in his dad’s favor so he can kill him for real this time. dain and kell are sort of nothing at all and you don’t need to know anything except dain is really mean and violent and kell is an ally(?). after the whole failed killing debacle tyler ran away to barnsley in hopes that he could find something in common with the humans, since he’d been a faerie all his life and couldn’t stand it. he’s quiet and doesn’t like doing or saying things unless he absolutely has to, is generally unhelpful unless something benefits him, scared of being alone, hates being indoors, runs around barefoot and only eats food from the woods. he’s kinda like an outdoor cat.
nick and marcus jacobs are brothers and general hooligans. nick is the older one (he’s 19) and marcus is 15 and they grew up in barnsley for the first 14 years of marcus’ life until marcus accidentally killed their dad and they left town. which the dad killing subplot is really a lot to get into but basically their dad was the second magician, along with vi’s mom, except the effects of magic on a person can kinda drive a person insane and the others managed to keep it together but he slowly went crazy until he was paranoid and in pain all the time and ended up taking a lot of it out on his sons which ended in him threatening marcus and marcus in an act of self defense unleashing raw magic power he didn’t know he had and accidentally killing him and also taking out all the power in the entire town and causing a minor earthquake. it was a Big Deal. so yeah they buried their dad in the backyard and skipped town. after their dad died all his magic went down to nick so nick has newfound power (marcus btw has never been able to use magic since then and has no idea how he did it) but he also has voices in his head and weird dreams, and with all the voices yelling at him all the time he realizes that the only way to get rid of them is to get rid of the magicians. his dad did some magic bullshit that made him the vessel for the magic once he died but the other magicians didn’t so he doesn’t have to kill anyone besides them and it makes sense bc i say it does shut up. so for like a year they drive around aimlessly, meet with and kill vi’s mom, meet with and kill aidan’s dad (i’ll get to aidan once i’m done here), pick up a hitchhiker depending on which version of the story i’m telling, then go back home where they’re not really welcome anymore but that won’t stop them. nick is cold and mean and. y’know. a murderer, but he also loves marcus greatly and gets attached to people more easily than he would like to admit. he’s sort of closed himself off and resigned himself to killing “for the greater good”, but it’s hard for him, and there’s definitely people he wouldn’t kill. he fully planned to, once he got rid of the magicians, never kill again, and he keeps that promise. marcus is soft spoken and anxiety ridden and a bit of a crybaby and he hates death and doesn’t fully trust nick and doesn’t trust himself either. on the outside he appears bitter and angry constantly.
aidan mulligan is a HOOLIGAN! a whole entire rowdy boy! he’s also the son of the third magician and marcus’ ex(?) boyfriend? more like boyfriend on standby. it’s complicated. there’s nothing special to him, he’s rowdy bc his parents never gave him enough attention so he runs around with people he doesn’t really like and is always getting into trouble. his favorite activities are skipping church and running the local cryptid watch am radio station, which no one listens to and which he used to run with marcus. he misses marcus dearly and keeps waiting for him to come back. he’s loud and talkative and his mood changes drastically but is always on the highest setting. he’s either screaming-and-throwing-things angry or unable to shut up and bouncing all over the place. not to pick favorites but he’s my favorite i really love him. his life moto is “fuck you dad” basically. oh yeah nick killed his dad and stuff and it’s hit him hard but he’s not as torn up by it as he probably should be, which he feels terrible about. his mom lives on the other side of the country and doesn’t currently know his dad is dead, which isn’t really something you’re supposed to keep secret generally but the mulligan family said fuck the rules. he has two brothers, connor and seamus (connor older, seamus younger) and loves both of them though he would never admit it.
simon diederich is the secret special bonus magician!! also i think i gotta talk abt parent backstory for him so,,,, here goes: basically, simon and vi’s mom and marcus and aidan’s dads all stole magic from the forest in a way that doesn’t super make sense but it’s my story i can do what i want. and in the process simon died and they had to leave him behind in the woods, but then since the magic in the forest was weak it couldn’t continue being formless or else it would turn into nothing since so much of it had been damaged by the humans or w/e. so it took simon’s body as a vessel and resurrected him with all his old memories but also 100% more magic power. so he took that power and went back home and has been just straight chillin, unaging, for 30-ish years. he got like. immense wisdom when he was resurrected and is also possessed by a sentient forest so he does what the forest wants which is protect the town and fistfight anyone he doesn’t like. he’s obnoxious and immature and thinks he’s hot shit and loves these trees more than he loves other people probably
bonus character: lila is the ghost who lives in vi’s attic. she’s like 7. i love her
THAT HURT MY FINGERS TO TYPE. I HAD TO MOVE TO GOOGLE DOCS TO DO THIS BC TUMBLR KEPT LAGGING AND MY WORD COUNT IS NEARING 2000 BUT W/E LETS KEEP GOING
next, still in the same universe, are the residents of greywell, washington. greywell is what’s on the other side of those woods no one can cross in barnsley. how does that work? magic obviously. greywell is a lot like barnsley but more sinister, it’s a lot newer so the characters aren’t as fleshed out (with one exception) and there’s really only 3 i actually care abt so this ones gonna be a lot shorter. i’ve thought abt plot but nothing solid so there’s some...stuff but mostly this one will be short
zoe hammond: amateur teen witch who’s also cursed. she has an eye on her left hand which is always watching her and she wants off desperately. u know how i said in some versions of the story nick and marcus pick up a hitchiker? that’s her, going to barnsley bc she knows its magic and hopes someone there will know how to fix her. she respects authority and stays in line for the most part, but she also takes shit from no one. she’ll talk to nearly anyone but doesn’t particularly like anyone in town, also she sells witch shit out of the trunk of her car in the school parking lot
wesley: short rowdy trans boy with absolutely no self control who’s stoned all the time and does crazy things for the adrenaline rush and doesn’t bind safely and falls in love with every boy he meets. he skateboards bc of course he does. he’s always ready to fight and punches ppl a lot but usually ends up losing fights bc he’s tiny. i love him
noa: ok this dude went into the woods one (1) time and now there’s this magic glove stuck on their hand? and a ghost in their phone?? and they’re literally so confused and they’ve never had any friends in their entire life but all of a sudden that weird lesbian witch and her crazy skateboarder friend are talking to them all the time and they died? except they woke back up like nothing had happened even though their head basically blew up? and there’s like faeries and stuff coming after them because they want the glove and they can’t get the stupid thing off their hand and they have no idea what’s going on noa is an absolute nervous wreck who’s really fun to draw and they have no idea what’s happening to them and tbh i don’t rly know what i’m doing either but i’m having a good time
ada: the phone ghost.
last set!! i have them all done already from this thing i did with @dogstoes so i’ll just paste them in but first background:
this is a completely separate world, it’s like this 1910s era fictional city with magic and shit. the magic system is kinda complicated but basically there’s elemental magicians who are heavily tied to religion, they’re believed to be sacred and god sent by p much every organized religion. they do elements, it’s pretty simple. then there’s blood magicians who can basically transmute but they have to use their own blood to do it. anyone can learn to be a blood magician but most ppl don’t want to bc. blood ow. blood magicians are an ABOMINATION AGAINST GOD and there’s a stigma against them in religious communities so they tend to populate big cities and less religious places. there’s also healers who are born like elementals and can’t be trained, they’re isolated from both schools of magic bc unlike elementals they’re not pure (well, depending on which religion you ask) and unlike blood magicians they’re not common. born magicians are born with pure black eyes (irises? the colored part. not just all black) that differentiate them from nonmagic ppl. there’s also super intense mary sue magicians who r rare and born with red eyes (i started this world when i was 13 don’t judge me bitch) and they can shapeshift kinda? but in cool ways, it’s not just shapeshifting they could also make their skin tough or nails pointy or w/e. one of them specifically likes to harden his own blood in weapons it’s kinda metal. anyways here’s the character profiles from the google doc pasted in word for word
Characters (bc i suddenly decided this is Sharin With Rivers material If You Shall Take It):
So basically there's these 2 gangs, run by this woman Lyra Frey and this dude Lucas Sweeney, and they Do Not Like Each Other At All. Neither of them are good bc yknow...gangs….but lyra’s is like...better anyways here's characters
Lyra's dudes:
Emil Finch: 21, any and all pronouns, ace, lyra’s right hand man/ veteran of a bloody civil war (TECHNICALLY a war criminal but yknow…it's whatever). Likes cats and Arya, dislikes cigarettes and being short. Their birth name is Emilee, which they  shortened to their liking when they moved to The Big City, and they used their father's name (Finn O'Malley) to join the war. They're a healer magician but ssshhh don't tell anyone. They used their powers to hurt people when they were in The War and now don't trust themselves, so they stick to traditional medicine thank you very much. (Also knives. They’re a big fan of knives.)
Arya Frey: 21, she/her, Lyra’s adopted daughter and mechanic. She has METAL LEGS and has to walk with a cane so she doesn't go outside much, mostly makes machines and strategizes for her mom. Likes drawing, Emil, making things/taking them apart, dislikes cold weather (it makes her joints hurt), magic, Drunk Emil. She has two cats named vriska and karkat. Everyone is suspicious of these names even though it's like 1910 and an alternate universe and homestuck doesn't exist.
Jaz Anaheim: 18, he/him, big gay disaster, a pickpocket who came to the Big City with his brother when he was 16 to work and send money to his mom, stole from a kingpin, joined a gang, watched his brother die in front of him, and lied to his mom for 2 years about his job and his brothers aliveness while he sent her blood money. He's a humble farm boy, no magic, tall and uncoordinated, basically all he can do is steal and flirt badly and he's very aware. Also where he came from magicians were rare because they were all drafted for the war so when he sees magic he's way too impressed. Likes loud music, people being interested in him, his family (just his mom now :’)), his hometown, dislikes the city, feeling disliked, himself, swimming
Sweeney’s band of assholes:
Elliott Sweeney: 24, he/him, Sweeney’s son and certified dad hater. He's a blood magician which are common and not that impressive but he’s good at what he does bc he did nothing but practice for like 6 years. His dad basically controls him and makes him work for him because he's useful. He resents his dad with every ounce of his being but doesn't have the spine to do anything about it. After accidentally burning down part of their house and killing his mom his dad sent him away to the summer house in the country, where he lived for the past 6 years, obediently doing his dad’s bidding and learning how to control his magic until he got fed up and burned that house down (on purpose this time), making his dad move him back to the family house in the city so that he could keep an eye on him. he’s one of those badass mega magicians who does blood swords and stuff, he’s also spent so much time reading that he knows a lot about magic theory. Quiet, reserved, extremely petty, but shows a sense of humor around his sister. Never really knew Alise growing up so he’s more of a cool uncle than a brother. Likes his sister, learning things, astronomy, dislikes his dad, Emil, doing magic, fighting, feeling trapped
Alise Sweeney: 14, she/her, her dad named her Alise with an S because he's just that much of an asshole. She's a self trained blood magician and good at what she does. She hates her dad almost as much as Elliott does but she's also not a fucking baby about it. Is DEFINITELY planning on killing him at some point. Was raised to make jokes and do crime and her brother said if she does crime she's grounded. Has never been serious about anything ever, and probably has a screw loose. Has killed people. Is basically a tiny fighting machine. Her dad was rough on her growing up. Likes picking fights, Elliott and Atticus, pissing off her dad, causing trouble. Dislikes her dad, people stronger than her, tense situations, being alone
Atticus Grey: 16, he/him, not Sweeney’s son but hates him enough that he probably could be (in case you were noticing a theme here, sweeney is kinda unlikeable). His mom left soon after he was born and his dad ran up a huge debt and ended up working for Sweeney to pay it off, then died in a gang fight before he could get through it. Sweeney, the merciless motherfucker that he is, decided that Atticus would finish paying it off, and snatched him up as soon as he was 13. His dad used to hang out with Emil’s and so they ended up taking care of parentless Atticus (along with (extremely reluctant) Arya. Atticus is really close with Lyra’s entire crew because he's spent so much time around them. He's a fire magician who knows a bit of blood magic but barely uses it, and he's an angsty bitch. Likes Emil, being alone, dislikes everything else.
oh yeah then there’s those bitches in charge:
Lyra Frey is a [REDACTED] year old woman from [REDACTED] who moved to the city while fleeing from [REDACTED]. She was in the civil war briefly, fighting for the [REDACTED] side. Her real name is not Lyra, but is actually [REDACTED]. She loves Arya more than anything else probably. Sees Jaz as an unofficial son, is skeptical of Atticus, likes Emil but doesn’t trust them.
Lucas Sweeney is one of those rich bastards who also does crime on the side. He’s a politician but everyone and their mother knows he’s an absolute crime lord on the side. Has arguably more power than Lyra but has no idea how to use it, plus Alise has already recruited like half his employees into joining her uprising. He’s a selfish man and a terrible dad. No one likes him.
uh yeah that is. all!! this is over 3000 words jesus do asks have a word limit? i sure hope not

PREFACE : Here’s the first of 2 info posts about Brooke this is the How it works / about / changes one. Fair warning I just batted this out over 2 nights and I haven’t proof read so like..... rip yall. the next will be a more classic bio sheet
Brooke started as just a thought experiment about twin slayers while marathoning the show, I know that there’s a twin sitch in the comics since I read it with my own two eyes but 1) the comics are… Woof at times and 2) that was fraternal male-female twins, while Buffy and Brooke are identical twin sisters which in this context can mean a world of difference. Also I just went for “what’s the most narratively interesting / what’s the most fun”. HOW IT WORKS : In her main verse Brooke was called as the Slayer at the same time as Buffy. The logic here being that generally, twins and especially identical ones, are mystically seen as linked and possibly extremely similar but ultimately separate beings. In the case of Slayerness ( and likely some other mystical things tbh ) their status as identical twins confuses it and they’re considered 1 whole slayer and were both called. They both have the standard power set, their slayerness didn’t get split between the two like in the comics.  However they are still intimately linked, for example when Buffy lost all her slayer powers on halloween thanks to her costume, Brooke who wasn’t allowed to go trick or treating was still a Slayer but was only at 50% without Buffy. Even more critically when one dies the other dies as well, instantly regardless of their own status. If Buffy’s at lunch and Brooke gets shot and dies, Buffy would drop dead at the table.  I also work in my base info for her main verse to not overshadow, take away from or anything like that Buffy’s accomplishments as possible without just being like “and Brooke was there”. For example, While I tweak to have Brooke to be the one to drown in the puddle post getting drained by the Master ( Buffy is still there they just both… fuck up and Buffy just got lucky on how she fell after ) Buffy is still the one who jumps in Season 5. Brooke is there for the fight but the most she contributes to that decision is like… confirmation she’s Fine with dying since once Buffy jumps Brooke’s fate is also sealed. The one place things get truly off the rails on that front is season 4.  This info is a basic framework for her main verse, focusing mainly on the things I find kind of a big deal in both understanding her and the changes she makes to events. Some of it is malleable, some not so much generally that’ll depend on plotting and such.  Cutting here bc as you can see...... this is a Long Post.
Trigger warning : addiction and self-harm L.A.
( I use the movie as a template for how L.A. went down along with a few short stories from the comics. )
Buffy is called at 15 and in finding and beginning to train her it’s discovered that Brooke is also the Slayer which is some wild shit. Neither take it well but Buffy is the one to become institutionalized which prompts Brooke to shut down and become more isolated. To cope with the stressful school-slayer balance she leans on substances first just coffee, then caffeine tablets and later cocaine. Brooke is there for the death of Merrick their first watcher and the attack on the gym. While Buffy is expelled almost immediately afterward Brooke is suspended but after Buffy runs away with Pike for a while to Vegas ala the comics Brooke is expelled for lack of attendance as she’s now crumbling under the weight of everything that’s happened, having no one to talk to and trying to keep up with slaying. While she’s spiraling she also is dumped by her first girlfriend, Samantha from the soccer team. Her addiction is in full swing and she meets Syd, a 19yo Australian warlock at a “party” and they quickly become “friends” and her main supply of drugs. The two of them become a duo for a time and end up with a complex and questionable relationship. She has a few very bad episodes, one full blown drug induced psychosis and would likely be dead if not for slayer constitution. Eventually everything comes to head Buffy is home, the divorce is finalized and her drug addiction comes to light. Part of coming to Sunnydale specifically is because of her rehab. SEASON 1. Brooke is out of the way for most of season 1, either living at her rehab center for the start or basically under house arrest under their mother’s watchful eye later on. She basically can only manage to help with slaying on occasion and is largely regulated to the emergency backup and a researcher. Generally the only way she can be out of the house when not at rehab or therapy is if there’s an adult with her which means she can’t really help much unless they can make up a reason she’s somewhere with Giles. It works somewhat to their advantage as between her not being around much and them being identical, it means no one in the demon community is really aware there’s currently two slayers. She, however, has her own intrigue going on as she begins to figure out that some of her fellow patients are demons ( I mean ofc it’s Sunnydale ) and upon more investigation they learn that half  the staff is also demons and it’s not an evil scheme or something to prey on the patients it’s just a rehab clinic that’s also for demons. She meets her best friend Nicholas, a fear demon, here in a group therapy session. When she finally does start at Sunnydale high she struggles to get along with Willow and Xander who are by then firmly Buffy’s friends. Brooke gravitates to Cordelia but ultimately ends up just spending most of her time with Giles after failing to make her own connections and realizing she can’t possibly try out for the soccer team. ever. Which crushes her more than she likes to admit. Like Xander, from the start she she doesn’t like Angel because of his interest in Buffy and her own interactions with older men while in L.A. but unlike Xander she held her tongue and didn’t try to stop the relationship or get in the way, wanting her sister to be happy and to live her life. She also couldn’t really get complain since it’d be hypocritical of her to chide her for being with an older guy or being cozy with a demon given her own relationship with Syd and her all her friends from rehab being… demons... By the end when they learn their death is prophesied she reacts poorly as well to the revelation, but like Buffy pulls herself together and goes to meet the Master. Both girls end up failing and are drained, by chance, Brooke is the one who lands face down in the puddle and dies taking Buffy down with her. When Brooke is revived Buffy comes back as well and they kill the Master.
SEASON 2. Over the summer with their father Brooke struggles being back in L.A. as it reminds her too much of her addiction and spends much of that time on the phone with Nic talking through everything that’s happened. While there she also runs into Syd again because, of course, who has also sobered up ( motorcycles cost money and if you ride them while high you can total it ) and gets his contact info whether she wants it or not. Cursed Knowledge. Spike’s attack on the school is the first time it’s made explicitly clear there’s two of them since he’s the first one to well, live after seeing both of them and the cat’s officially out of the bag. On Halloween Brooke wasn’t allowed to go out and was at home, costumeless, when things go south. When the gang comes to the house she leaps into action and ends up chasing after Buffy when she flees the house. She comes to the defense of her sister against Spike but quickly realizes without Buffy’s half of the slayer mojo she’s only half as strong as usual but persists against him until the spell is broken. Brooke does meet Kendra and thinks she’s pretty dang neat. When Angel loses his soul Brooke actively steps up on the slaying end, trying to protect her sister from the worst of it though how successful that it is up in the air as despite her efforts she fails to stop his actions or keep Buffy from seeing or learning about what he’s done. Brooke’s involvement comes to a head when she’s kidnapped by Angelus when out on patrol and is held captive and tortured mainly by being introduced to cocaine not too long after Giles is also kidnapped but she’s so out of it she doesn’t realize. Finally her attempts at escape actually work and she bolts out of the mansion in a haze and is only found later in a vacant lot by Nic. She ends up in the hospital and only later finds out Buffy has run away again. SEASON 3. By now Brooke and Nic have made their pact, which means that the two are tied mystically. She can summon him and he can find her. This is not something she makes anyone aware of. When Buffy comes back Brooke is extremely upset feeling that she’s been abandoned twice when she needed Buffy’s support but ultimately also empathizes with Buffy and her heartbreak. When Faith comes to town Brooke finally feels like she’s met someone she can really get along with which causes even more tension. When homecoming comes along Brooke supports Buffy aggressively and ends up being involved in the Slayerfest debacle thanks to it.  When it’s discovered Angel is back Brooke is livid that Buffy never told her but mainly focuses her aggression at Angel himself, finally making it clear she never liked or trusted him and will do what she can to keep them apart.  Skyrocketing the mounting issues between the sisters and pushing her to spend less time with the scoobies and more time with her own demon friends and Faith. As things go on Brooke feels increasingly pulled between her sister and her friendship with Faith. When Faith accidentally kills deputy mayor Brooke helps her cover it up / sides with her, reliving her own fears from her time in L.A. and having a more generally grey view of things. She also attempts to talk to Faith and get her to open up to her but ultimately fails. Brooke talks it over with her mother and decides to not go to college mainly because she doesn’t have any idea what she’d study and only now is finally letting herself mourn the death of her dream of playing pro soccer. She decides to get a job instead and begins the hunt for one with a schedule that works with slayage. Buffy’s attempt to kill Faith in retaliation for poisoning Angel sets Brooke off completely and she almost completely abandons them and leaves for L.A. until her mother and later Giles and the gang talk her out of it and she stays to help stop the mayor (and graduate). As part of the plan for the battle against the Mayor, Brooke gets in contact again with Syd and asks for his help. He arrives and decides business ( read : blood and guts kinda hardcore magic ) will be a lot better on a hellmouth and decides to stay. No one is happy about it. SEASON 4. Sadly the only job she could get was with Nic and some of their friends in their band as a singer since that’s… literally the only thing she wasn’t trash at to her chagrin. She spent much of her time in the summer at the “Hell House” the communal sober living house Nic, his wife Maria, an insanity demon, and all her friends live in to avoid Buffy and to keep herself from falling into the bad habits she really would like to fall into, still deeply upset over Faith. Over the next few months as Buffy struggles to get used to college Brooke begins to reach out again and be there for her, trying to get back to the better relationship they used to have. Occasionally she goes to L.A. with her band for gigs and naturally runs into the L.A. squad because of course that’s how the world works. With their break up pretty permanent and some therapy under her belt her attitude towards Angel is much better she’s still unpleasant but at least funnier about it. Brooke kinda has the beginnings of an alcohol problem but is aware enough to try and fend that off with some help and moral support. When Spike comes to the Scoobies for help Brooke IMMEDIATELY sides with Spike and agrees to help, scared of what happened to him and what it would mean for her friends and potentially her and Buffy. She convinces them to let him live at Hell House instead of trapped with Giles or Xander. As more comes about the Initiative she stops talking the Scoobies when Riley is around or about anything that would be mission critical and they might accidentally tell him or act on. She, her demon friends and Syd decide to attack the Initiative HQ. They kidnap Walsh then Syd uses magic to make Brooke look like her and once she’s in, they use her pact with Nic to guide him as he and Syd use Nic’s ability to travel through shadows to get the whole horde of demons they’d put together for the assault in and then shit just goes wild. In the fray Adam wakes up and escapes before the horde can get to the top secret section. Buffy and the Scoobies find out and Brooke and Buffy are back to being on the outs but work together to defeat Adam. SEASON 5. Brooke takes finding out Dawn is the Key well and basically just continues on as normal. When Joyce becomes sick Brooke spends extensive time with her trying to figure out what she wants her / them to do in the worst case scenario as Brooke knows if she doesn’t have that list she’s going to fall off the deep end if it does happen. Brooke once again tries to take on too much and take some of the stress that’s clearly effecting Buffy off her by trying to do the lion’s share of caring for dawn, their mom and slaying which puts her back in danger of dependency until they finally have a moment and figure out a balance that works for them both and plays to their strengths. Buffy is the one who finds their mother Brooke learns via Phone call. Giles calls Hell House, gets Nic who finds her and tells her. She goes with Buffy to get Dawn. Buffy is the one who jumps to save dawn / the world and Brooke falls dead when she dies.  [ Kinda was running out of willpower here so this section might get added on to ]
SEASON 6. Brooke is not in Heaven as Brooke actually did crimes and shit and didn’t get a big heroic death to help balance that out. She is in purgatory, specifically a purgatory where the Army of the Repentant Dead fight an endless battle to hold back the endless hordes of demons trying to break through into the mortal realm. Civilizations rising to glory and falling into obscurity around them in what feels like the space of a single breath kinda thing. During the ritual to bring them back Willow works off the fact that they’re linked to try and bring them both back in one go with the spell we see in the show. Buffy, the primary target comes back fine but Brooke as the metaphysical baggage…. Not so much…. She comes back very living dead kinda exactly how you’d think something like this would go if it went bad and Syd has to come in and fix the damage done by Willow as best he can. He can put flesh on her, her heart beating and her mind more here and less "a thousand eons have passed”-y but he cannot do anything about how she reads as Dead magically. Her soul is still technically tied to the Army of the Repentant Dead and her slayer duties and such are basically counting towards that on a cosmic level. Brooke basically spends all her time trying to keep the family together as the one with access to work via the band she hates being in and her connections into the demon community. She works to the bone taking on whatever work she can squeeze in and tries to be there for Buffy and work with her through her depression and well as Willow and her addiction. She falls back on her time as a unkillable dead soldier to power through at the cost of her personality / mental state and at times her health. She asks Xander to teach her more about carpentry / construction so she can have something healthy and productive to do. Too focused on everything else she didn’t consider the nerd squad to be a real threat and shit Goes Down like it did. [ or you know…. We can say that they totally did take care of them or whatever and everything’s Chill bc….. Tara Deserves Better sooooooooooo ya know... ] SEASON 7. Brooke as successfully managed to not become an alcoholic but that’s because she’s fallen into self-harm. Not cutting or similar but hitting herself or walls / objects or just fighting. She and other finally realize this and she actively works to stop the behavior and does a LOT of home improvement until finally the shit gets real and she can focus on the war against the First. During the first fight with Caleb they realize the full repercussions of the Ritual from s6 and learn that she kinda can’t die. Caleb should have killed her and by extension Buffy but she doesn’t die. Brooke, while yes sure everything work like it should for a living person was still not brought back correctly and this is the repercussions of that. If Buffy dies though they both die and Brooke is still able to feel pain and shit so like…. being unable to die is kind of terrible. Syd is able to patch her up but needs fresh human meat to do it so that’s a new grim exciting facet of her life. Brooke once again leans on her Dead Army experience to train the potentials and help with battle plans but generally defers to Buffy as Brooke feels Buffy’s a better leader and Brooke herself a better second in command. Shit pm does down as it does from here. She’s glad to see Faith again but naturally she bounces when they kick Buffy out though not before speaking out against it.   COMICS. OH GOD I DON’T WANNA THINK ABOUT THIS RN. SHE’S DOING SOMETHING.

OK NECROMITES!
MY DF GAVE THE OK TO INFO DUMP ABOUT THEM TO THEM AND SIIIINCCEEE I DON’T WANT TO SPAM THEIR MESSAGES HERE’S INFO HERE:
Firstly…. I know some of this is gonna sound mEH but this little demon species I made means the goddamn world to meeeee and my lil traumatized ass so don’t b mean™
Now originally I only made a few. Like as a coping mechanism. That was back around middle school because that is definitely where depression™ started. I love demons so much and I was like…. yes demons I’m make them….
Originally, and this still pretty much holds up, they are always themed off of something. And whatever they are themed off of determines their main power.
Now in my original drafts, all of them had a tattoo of the symbol of their power. It was black everytime. Now that does not hold up anymore, instead I gave them what I call “insulators”. They act as a container for their magic and they cannot perform their magic without it on. The insulator is also capable of keeping their physical forms together. If you apply enough force to their forms they will uhhh explode and immediately go back into regeneration within their insulators. So essentially their souls are in their insulators. This is symbolic of going through a traumatic experience and then shutting down and going into recovery. Due to what this is based on, the recovery times vary extremely dependent on what happens to the Necromite at hand. Sometimes it takes more force to break one Necromite than it does with others. It really depends on their level of power and mental endurance to keep themselves together. Once they reform, they come back and are generally ok after that until some fucker hurts them again. While it’s based off of physical force, it COULD also be mental trauma to them too. So physcologically tortuing one has about the same effect as physically dependent on the Necromite, and they will pop and go back into regeneration. However sometimes instead of going back into regeneration, they lash out and go into a “beast form” of sorts. Except….the beast form is what they look like anyway. Necromites are a species that wants to blend in, because what they generally look like scares things that don’t understand their somewhat horrific appearance. They project a form of the predominate species of their area. Most of the time, it’s probably humans tbh. So human/humanoid forms 9 times outta 10 most likely. However they can shift into anything so long as they see it in action. They are not perfect at this, however, and no matter what form they’re in they will always have: horns (any amount, but has to be at least one), long ears, and their insulators. Now insulators can practically be anything but once they choose one they have to stick with it forever. The way it works is that the (probably child?) chooses an item they like and choose to put themselves in that essentially. Until then the parents/guardians help them keep their forms stable if they’re projecting. If they have no one to help them do that, they cannot disguise themselves without an insulator. Generally, insulators are accessories like jewelry or something (not necessary, can be anything within reason that they can have on their person.). Just so they don’t look out of place. They’re extremely sensitive to people touching their insulators and mostly do not allow it. There’s a good reason for this of course. Because, as you can probably guess, if you destroy the insulator you kill them. Destroying an insulator is actually extremely hard though. There’s no specific way to do it but they’re just extremely durable to the point of which someone who is not magic probably cannot achieve breaking it. Regardless though yes they are paranoid so do not touch it unless you want an ass kicking. Now they mostly live in villages with a bunch of other Necromites. Very, very rarely do they live in a place that does not have at least one other of their kind, and if they do it probably involves a significant other of another species. (tHAT IS THE SAME of their projected species so no weird shit….) Speaking of….since it’s relevant, yes they can reproduce with different species if they wanted to, but since they’re immortal they don’t really have to. But y’know sometimes people want kids or whatever so. Yeah.
Now generally, Necromites are under rule of their Queen. Who resides in their dimension of origin. She gathers up incredibly powerful Necromites and raises them to do what she says, and what she wants them to do is colonize other places all around different dimensions. There are 5 classes to those who live under her rule: Citizen->Servant->Solider->Commander->Elder
Citizen lives there and does general citizen shit. I mean…y’know whatever the fuck people do when they live somewhere.
Servant is a servant. That’s pretty straight forward. They do shit for her and reside in her palace or whatever I haven’t decided wtf she actually lives in yet bc I’m soooo good at this.
Soldiers are the fighters. They are essentially…yeah?? They’re soldiers man they fight battles and take out opposition.
Commanders train the soldiers and protect the Elders.
Elders are the most powerful and are exceedingly gifted when it comes to magic, charisma, and cruelty. They are the ones sent out to colonize. Sometimes it’s a matter of convincing the people of the area they go to colonize bc they’re stupid….hence the charisma aspect.
Most of the time though, people don’t want to be under a new rule, especially if they didn’t have one in the first place. If they do, the Elders kill the leader. If they don’t, the Elders kill a couple of the people in example of what will happen should there be anymore opposition. This has been going on as long as the species has been existent. Queen is the literal God to the demons and she can spawn demons from thin air if she wanted to, but she much prefers to just let them grow from a baby. Some things to keep in mind are that she is a cruel tyrant and she really only cares about expanding her influence and nothing else. She is about 40 feet tall. She has the ability to control any demon of the Necromite species so long as they are pure Necromite. Meaning that if a Necromite bred with a human the baby would be half human, in which case she only has half control. She’s evil as evil gets and also insanely powerful, there has never been opposition to her…. EXCEPT….. until a Necromite named Gin came around. He was used by her since birth and is arguably the second most powerful Necromite alive behind Queen herself. For a long while, until about his late teens, he worked for her without question. He was not capable of emoting or understanding emotions all that well. Some would say he was even apathetic but that really was not true. One day one of the commanders he was assigned to started picking on him while the other 6 Elders he associated with were not paying attention. This commander is named Luciana. (She belongs my best friend) She was raised from birth to die for her cause if need be and that was all that mattered, except….. she’s pretty quirky and silly. And she saw something different in Gin than she did any other Elders. She had the hunch he could be a much better person than he was raised to be. And she was right. She also fell in love with him. He didn’t really know this at the time, and therefore he came off as rather insensitive to her feelings and hints that she dropped at him. Eventually, he ultimately decided he was done being a pawn to Queen. He was going to rebel. He told Luciana and a few citizens who shared his views of wanting to be free and he put his plan…. well actually he did not have anything planned he just did it. He was successful, and he took Luciana and the citizens to a world that the Necromites had never been before and sealed off the portal and any traces of energy that would have helped in tracking them down. He was injured, of course. He had to fight Queen before he was able to leave after all. He did not succeed in killing her though, only fazing for a short amount of time. And well? Gin and Luciana’s group of people were free now. It was the first time anyone had done that and so they had to work together to make their village, which still stands to this day. And if you’re wondering…. yes Gin and Luciana are married and they are cute as fuck. Gin is now dead though but there’s a lot more to things than that. To keep this post from getting any longer though I’m going to summarize: Gin instated six other Elders to work with him and lead the village and they weren’t really that nice. He also recruited 7 more potential Elders and trained them and raised them, acting as their fatherly figure and treating them as more than their ability to destroy. The local species of angels that happened to live there…. I forgot the name I gave them….. were like….. “hey what the fuck you can’t be here you’re demons” and all that racist shit djdjdjsjsj. And eventually they got into fights and then war broke out and Gin and the other six Elders were killed as well as the leader of the angels and ofc tons more of casualties. So the kids Gin had raised to take their place did exactly that. They are grown now and are currently the leaders of the village. They’re good at what they do but they hold resentment for what had happened. So there are two kinds of Necromites, ones that are aligned with Queen and the ones that are not. It’s dangerous to not be aligned with her because you know her petty ass is trying to hunt down the rebel village. She hasn’t been successful just yet though. And that is the history behind that shit in the shortest possible summary. Now more about the species in general is that there are regular ones and there are gifted ones. The gifted ones are born with a huge amount of power and those are generally the ones that are made into Elders. Elders are protectors of those they lead and if you try to mess with their village they will fuck you up. The way villages generally go is that there are 7 Elders to run it and the rest are citizens. They’re generally peaceful unless provoked. If you were to kiss one for some reason, their saliva would taste like your favorite sweet thing, and if you taste it while they are aroused, it turns into an aphrodisiac. Honestly though like… they don’t take advantage of this or anything. You shouldn’t really be kissing them like that unless you like… love them or something anyway. Necromites with tails are somewhat scarce for some reason, no one really knows why. There’s two Necromites that canonly have tails and that’s about it. There are currently none with wings but it isn’t impossible. Any other features are pretty common though. Like clawed hands, multiple limbs, unnatural skin colors, etc. Females generally have notched ears whereas males do not but who gives a fuck about gender tbh I give the men notched ears all the time. And ofc just for the record they also do not give a fuck about gender and there are trans and nonbinary Necromites all the time. They don’t tolerate people who discriminate and the punishment is either exile or death. The person gets to choose. Most choose exile. As said earlier, they look really strange when they aren’t disguised. I don’t have a visual reference of this yet but: lanky bodies, elongated limbs, large jaws and needle like teeth, they generally can only stand on four legs because of their large limbs but standing on two legs is totally possible. Standing upright they’re about 6 feet tall at the shortest in most cases. Some are smaller or larger though. Their eyes are narrow and their pupils are slitted. All in all they have the sentience of humans mentality wise and generally stick together. They’re social but mostly only towards each other. Sometimes outsiders aren’t even allowed near their villages and sometimes they don’t give a heck. It really all depends. They have their own language, but they adapt and pick up ones that are spoken around them often. Uhhhhhhh I can’t really think of anything else right now sO RANT OVER
