Another year has passed and though most of us live out our Pride all year round, it's officially our month to celebrate (almost). I've attempted this once before and unfortunately became too busy to finish it. This time things will be different. I've had an awful two months and it's time to turn stuff around. So please, join me in making some gifts for each other's OCs once again and make this month even more fun than it already is!

As a disclaimer, because I don't want to get too anxious about it again. I will only post your gift once you've posted one for me! It's happened a few too many times that people sent in either forms that aren't filled out properly or never posted a gift and I let it slide because I'm historically too nice (aka no backbone disease). But! I was wondering If you could describe your OCs Jelly and Raven's personalities and how they act?! If that's okay ofc, thank you!!

Hey there! thank you for this ask, it's going to be a long answer so buckle up and get some tea xD let's start with Jelly first because she is still a relatively new OC, I haven't develop her story completely yet.

cw: there'll be mentioned of suicidal idealisation on Raven's part, some canon-typical violence here and there

Jelly's a silly gal, initially the one OC that I want to make it so that she's relatable to most people (around my age at least) and project my chaos and goofiness on. She's bubbly and kind, a bit awkward and sometimes a dumbass but this kindness isn't born from naivety but rather it's a choice. Shaped by her tragic upbringing (when can I make an OC that doesn't suffer? likely never, anyways), she has felt and seen first hand what it's like to be disregarded and overlooked, knows how it feels to be underestimated, to be someone you're not, thus this makes her perceptive to emotions and empathetic. She's the type of person who will go out of her way to help someone, even if it means putting her own needs aside.

She's a bit of a geek, anime, gaming, figurines, fan fiction, you name it she'll love it. Though she doesn't show it outwardly in fear of judgement, you'll see trinkets/merch in her workshop. Though if you approach her on those topic, she'll gladly yap about it with you.

Think of her like a mix of orange cat and golden retriever.

Now when it comes to Raven...oh boy, this one's a lot to unpack here.

The short answer is she's the fem version of Ghost, minus the muscles and repressed gayness (wheeze, no really, I made Raven using Ghost as a blueprint and then slowly expanded her story from there, lazy character making so to speak) but that may offend a portion of people so *cough*

Where do I even begin? xD

Raven's life has been hard since the very start, so she has a different level of mental toughness so ingrained that she often pushes herself past the point of exhaustion, has faced anything and everything from psychological pain to near-death experiences (multiple times). This makes her fiercely independent and rely solely on herself most of the time, viewing dependency on others as a weakness. So she doesn't like getting approached, and would likely ignore anyone who tries doing so.

Despite so, if you earned her loyalty, she will commit and submit to you wholeheartedly. While her past has taught her that loyalty can be a weapon used against you, she still chose to willing go to great lengths protecting the people she thinks are worth protecting for. So, let's just say she has some possessive tendencies. This trait however, is dangerous as well because that made her value her life a lot lesser, her own life is a pawn on the chess piece, a weapon that should be sacrificed for the greater good. It takes a lot of patiences and love on John's side to resolve a big part of that. (Raven goddammit it you are important just as much as Price and everyone else is, doesn't matter if you are useful or not because simply existing, is enough!!)

Ambiguous moral complex, I think that's the word, instead of operating in the black or white, she operates in the shades of gray. She's disciplined and highly analytical, ruthless and heartless when she does, so she can be coldly logical (stole this description from Jack). She has no qualms about deception, manipulation and dishonesty if it meant achieving her goal. This sort of...behaviour of her would make her unpredictable at times, and creates a tension between her and other operators, because can you trust a woman who wouldn't hesitate when necessary?

She has a cynicism perspective in live, which often isolates her from those around her, I could go on and on about this but she views empathy with suspicion, questioning the motives of kindness, which is why she's more reserved and distant to others, detached even. She copes by compartmentalization, which is basically isolating thoughts and feelings separately, think of Raven putting anger, sadness, happiness in different boxes, it's some form of dissociation to avoid feelings because they get in the way of life. So sometimes she doesn't react emotionally towards situation, which makes her seem like a monster. (at some level, she is one)

But despite her being a hardass, she does have a softer side that's hidden. Buried, deep-seated empathy of hers is quiet, almost reluctant, they appear when she least expected, and thus she has a hard time to express her feelings directly. Actions speaks louder than words, afterall. She's the type that shows her appreciation rather than speaking them.

This also, kind of make her awkward in some ways, especially when she's flustered. She wouldn't how to respond to heartfelt compliments or simple act of kindness.

Oh you bought her tea? She'll stare at you for an uncomfortable amount of time before she drinks it and tell you to get the same one next time.

You dust off her uniform? again, stares at you before she awkwardly pat your shoulder with a nod.

In short, she's quiet and reserved, emotionally guarded and cynical. But beneath that hard exterior she's a loyal person who cares more than she likes to admit.

Oc introduction- Alla | soft Yandere bunny girl x pest remover male reader part 1

You’ve worked as a pest remover for about two months now and finally you are allowed to go by yourself. Learning how to be a pest control man was kind of funny. You had to go through extensive training like you were training for the army. But no, you were really training to remove rats from homes. Which honestly was just as bad, and gross very gross. But unfortunately you're getting used to it.

Today was a big day as your boss said, you were finally getting your first job alone. Which is cool but they’re making a big deal out of it but whatever let the old men have their fun. Your boss warned you about the client you would be helping, he called her a crazy old woman and told you it was just best to play along. You had no idea what he was going on about until you came to her house.

“There’s a bunny girl stealing my vegetables!” She said,

“A bunny girl?” You asked suspicious, yup definitely crazy just like your boss said.

You did just as your boss said, checking everywhere for this “bunny girl” even though there’s no way it exists. You checked under the porch by the shed and in the gardens and saw nothing, it had been about an hour since you first arrived and you could confidently say there was no imaginary bunny human hybrid. The old lady looked disappointed when you said you didn’t see anything. She offered you some tea though, which was nice. But while you were sitting and talking with this elderly lady you noticed something out of the corner of your eye. At first it just looked like a girl sneaking around the backyard, which was weird enough but you notice two little bunny ears. You gasp slightly, was she telling the truth? You ask if you can look around again. She agreed and you went out to find that bunny girl

“Hey stop!” You yell. That spooked the girl and she went running.

Maybe it was a bad idea to run after a girl with bunny ears,maybe you were hallucinating. But you were too far to turn around now. You chased her to a forest she ducked down under a tree and you lost her for a moment but soon you found her again. She was hiding in a tree log if you can even call it hiding when you look at her you notice how scared she was. She was breathing heavily which could be because she just ran away from you so fast but her eyes were squeezed shut and her whole body was tense. You feel bad, damn it. The number one rule for being a pest remover is to never feel bad for the pests that were not welcome. But here you are petting this freak of nature.

“Hey, hey it’s ok,” you whisper, still petting her. She opens her big doe eyes and looks at you. That is a beautiful cloudy blue.

“R-really,” she shudders.

You ask why she’s been stealing food from the old lady and she tells you she doesn’t have a home and has been homeless for years. And damn it pulls on your heart strings, fuck she definitely knows how to use those crocodile tears to her advantage. So you offer to let her stay with you until she saves enough to get her own home. You didn't know how she would even make money but you were desperate to make her stop crying. She nods eagerly.

You told the grandma goodbye and that you fixed the problem, she was very pleased about that. The bunny girl who you learned her name was Alla left with you. You were kinda nervous to introduce her to your home but she shouldn’t ruin it that badly right?

About Me

Caxy Creations, simply put, is my brand. So to really explain who Caxy Creations is, let's cover who I am.

My name is Davina. I also answer to: David, Caxy, or "Hey bitch~!" (/pos)

Some quick facts about me:

Labels are weird to me, transgender/genderfluid/agender and other things like that just...idk, they don't fit. I answer to she/her most comfortably, but I don't feel inherently she/her or he/him or they/them or anything else. I'm just...Me. So call me whatever pronouns you want, I'm a little of everything.

I'm an artist AND a writer, but far more a writer than an artist.

This Blog's Purpose

This blog is going to serve as two things: a compendium of all knowledge relating to Relan, a planet of my own design with its own history, religions, sciences, magics, and more, as well as a collection of stories about the people living on Relan. Some quick things to cover about Relan, for those interested:

I am 100% okay with OCs. If someone likes my world enough to make a character to throw into it, that is, to me, the ultimate compliment.

If you need/want help integrating your OCs into Relan, I am absolutely down to help with all the resources I have on the world.

Don't know if a species exists on Relan? Well, every single animal species on Earth exists on Relan, and every mythical being exists as well in some form or another, there's even a few internet-designed species and some entirely original species of my own design! So have fun with it!

Relan is a fantasy world. Ancient times have high fantasy themes and forms, modern times have modern fantasy themes and forms, and future eras have a distinctly science-fiction feel with a hint of magic to them. As such, my stories will usually have these themes and/or forms!

Hey I'm gonna take that opportunity to be nosy about your vampire novel bc anytime you mention it in your tags I'm sitting here like 👀👀 soooo if you feel like it tell me a bit about your ocs!! What are they like?

Hehe, glad you asked! (And noticed that I'm talking about it in my tags…)

Gonna put this under a cut just in case it gets long:

So my protagonist, lets call him J, was adopted by a vampire coven as a baby and turned into a vampire as an adult and because of that, pretty much everyone assumes that he is ~The Chosen One that has been prophesied to defeat The Big Bad Guy and save everyone. This presumed fate is kind of hanging over his head because it means he's basically a celebrity but he's actually pretty introverted and of course repressing loads of stuff (like his bloodlust. not only that of course, but he has the vampire equivalent of an ed). but also people are usually intimidated by him due to reasons, like the fact he has heterochromia like every good OC fantasy protag should. so, he's hung up about having to kill people and drink their blood (no vegetarian option here, it's either human blood or starve, no blood conserves or any of that shit either), but one time he spared the life of a guy he was supposed to kill and he's holding on to the thought that at least that means he can't be 100% a bad person.

as it happens, he runs into that guy again years after the fact, and this is my other major OC, let's call him E. He's a human and doesn't initially know that vampires exist, but he also has reason to believe that some kind of important fate awaits him. They pretty much immediately become friends, even though E is the polar opposite of J in many ways, he's the charismatic sunshine boy and ladies' man that everyone loves, essentially the dickie greenleaf of this story, and he definitely believes that he is the main character. So once J learns about E maybe also having a destiny of some kind, he starts wondering if E is the actual chosen one and he can somehow still get out of this whole schtick.

But in order to figure out who gets to kill the bad guy, they have to find him first, and here my third OC comes into play, G. I'm not gonna say too much about him because of plot spoilers, but essentially most vampires believes he is the ultimate bad guy that needs to be defeated and G's reaction to that is "You want a monster? I'm gonna be that monster alright". So he has this tough guy attitude and is prone to risky behavior, but he also has a super traumatic past and maybe there is another side to him? Wait and see I guess lol (if this gets ever written. But hey, I continued my current 35k ff wip after someone on tumblr made me talk about it, so who knows!! Definitely finishing that though before I can dive into these vampires again).

(I swear there are really cool female characters too, they're just unfortunately all supporting characters for reasons, I can maybe make a separate post about them? I should also definitely make fan art. But also I should write this instead of procrastinating lol)

Something that has been on my mind throughout this whole Yandere! Miguel O’Hara, is the idea of a Spider-Girl Gabriella O’Hara in another reality that lost her dad in that reality, her canon event, that made her become Spider-Girl, and Miguel (Earth-928B) becoming a Yandere parent. He lost his baby girl once, he’s not going to loose her again.

The problem with that in of terms of like me writing is, I prefer when the focus of my stories is the reader insert character and that would kind of be basically sort of making an OC just about, but I've definitely thought about like, yandere Miguel and friends looking after a Reader who may be still growing up or, Miguel is in his 30s or 40s so even a Reader in their 20s can still be a sort of student with him (I'm 26 ok let me live, I'm still considered young right 🥺🥺🥺 I need to be someone's baby girl too 🥺🥺🥺)

I keep gravitating back to "Miguel who lost his wife and child x reader who was spiderwoman 2099 who lost her Miguel and child and both of you did the whole tried to replace my family thing" and also like, imagine Miguel bonding with you because you can relate to his experiences more personally and intimately than anyone else and one day a second Miguel shows up and unlike "the main one" MiguelDos DID have a version of you as a partner and he's trying to convince you to come home with him. Like imagine your Miguel is so incredibly attached and protective of you and he sees you're spending a suspicious amount of time with the new version of him and, yeah he's jealous, but he's worried about potential consequences so he goes to talk to you and before he can, you start first, "Miguel, the other you has to go, he wants me to try and break canon and go home with him and--"

Miguel just being absolutely furious (not with you, never you) because you've been through a horribly traumatic experience and it is so strong and brave that you're still going (he would know, he's doing the same thing too) and now some copycat asshole is trying to sway you? Take you away? Miguel hears you say "he thinks because I don't have a home universe anymore that I exist outside my own canon and that I could come to his home universe and he wants a baby" and Miguel just sees RED

Maybe he even starts checking security footage and he can see that like, yeah Miguel2 has some sort of genuine affection for you but it's obvious he is also loakey manipulating you, trying to get you drunk and in bed, getting you tipsy to try and convince you to come with him, shit could you imagine Miguel 1 bursting into his/your shared office to see Miguel 2 basically trying to peel your clothes off while you're barely coherent if not outright unconscious

He'll beat the bastard bloody is what he'll do. Miguel had definitely developed his own obsession for you but for some random loser to be actively trying to use your pain for his own benefit, to try and BREAK CANON and kill everyone just to be selfish? He knows wanting to, but he's glad you came to him, trusting him enough to look up at him with tears in your eyes, "please, I can't take him being here, he's saying too much, he wants too much from me" because he knows it hurts, he doesn't know what to do if a carbon copy of his wife showed up begging for his love (although the more time he spends with you, the less he finds himself thinking about her and more about you)

Reader 2099 being devastated because since she lives in Miguel's dimension now but isn't FROM there she doesn't really have any documentation so she can't even try and adopt. Miguel realizing that, hey, maybe that other him of his had a point, maybe there IS a purpose for you becoming attached to Nueva York. It's not like moving on after a canon event is inherently changing one. Since he's already lost his daughter, and can't take someone else's, could he... make his own? But what if it breaks canon somehow? But the more he thinks about ìt and the more he gets closer to you the more he wants a fat chubby little baby of his own so fucking bad and he's just about ready to take a leap of faith with you and test this theory out

But yeah like, apparently the Spiderman canon events typically happen as teenagers so I've also thought of,you know, Reader being where they are in the template, a bullied high school kid with social isolation and issues at home. Miguel just minding his own business when a little birdy/spider whispers in his ear that "the new kid he's been looking after needs some help" and he goes to see and you're just sniffling and crying with a black eye because there are bullies at school. Or even worse, your black eye is from some attempt at a relationship, and you brush it off "oh no, they just lost their temper, it's MY fault they got so mad" and Miguel knows you don't have proper parental figures and he essentially adopts you. Miguel being especially weak to a female teen Reader though because, gosh, he wonders what his daughter would be like at your age, would the two of you have been friends, it's almost like helping to raise you helps heal the trauma of losing his little girl.

You have a Spanish class you struggle with and you're shyly asking Miguel, just offhandedly, "hey as a bilingual speaker do you have any tips 🥺 I'm really struggling and I feel dumb" and suddenly here's 'Tio Miguel' to help you. Any Spiders from your age group think they can make a move on you, they're mistaken and greeted by a towering glowering fatherly figure, and god forbid if he finds an older man being creepy with you, he will all but throw them into traffic

God this man has infested my brain so bad, I'm literally taking a t break from weed for like a week so I can treat myself by going to the ATSV in theaters since I've been so stressed and money finally isn't as tight and. Hhhhh I want to see a pretty movie with hot people and good music on the big screen 😩🥵❤️ by all means keep bugging me with any ideas or questions or feedback about ideas because I'm getting lost in the yandere spiderverse sauce

"Janitor" Fnaf Security Breach x Female reader. *1.*

Description: What happens when Y/n L/n lands a cleaning Job at the mega pizza plex? How will she handle all the Animatronics falling for her?

Warnings: Slight drama, blood, and jealousy, but other than that, none.

Other things:

-Bonnie and Foxie aren't dismantled, thanks to Gregory.

-Cassie and Gregory are in High School, working as security guards to keep Freddy and everyone else safe.

-I added a new Daycare attendant named Jester, who will be introduced later, and of course, the attendees got new Upgrades, thanks to Gregory.

"And that's about it for this room-You ok Y/n?"

It's been a long day, and let me tell you, Cyrus wasn't joking when he said this job was overwhelming.

You were just shadowing him today, and all the stuff he taught, quizzed and even showed didn't comprehend into your brain because it was just too much for even a fucking robot to handle.

So now, here you were, on the floor, your pad of paper and pen beside your head, as you were basically brain-dead from all the stuff he had been giving you.

Letting out a sigh, he towered over you as the man came into your view, a blank look on his face. "Get up." You shook your head. "No, can't; I'm dead."

"No, you're not."

"Yes, I am."

"No, you're not."

"Yes. I. am."

"If your 'dead,' then why are you talking?"

"Because Ghost exists."

"Well, if you’re a Ghost, then I guess the ghost can't eat Pizza as a reward? Damn, what a shame; I would even add extra garlic, , but now she's dead, so I guess no extra garlic for her.” You shot up from the ground instantly. "Who says that I'm dead-" You paused when he crossed his arms, a slight smirk forming his lips.

"Bastard." You commented while his eyes rolled. "You weren't even dead; come on, Chica's Pizza should be open still, so let's grab a bite." Helping you back to your feet, you smiled while adjusting your hat. "I like the sound of that; I'm sorry if I was being stubborn back there, I tend to be dramatic when overwhelmed." He waved your comment off. "No worries; besides, I had fun playing around, that's the vibe you have to keep her at the pizza plex, or things will go sideways. Keep that in mind, Kay Newbie?" Giving you a wink, your face flushed slightly as he walked ahead, leaving you slightly confused. Shaking your thoughts away, you began catching up with him, standing on the right side. "What do you mean things will go sideways?" He chuckled, patting your head. "You still have much to learn about being an employee here, but that's a lesson for later; besides, I think our stomachs and feet need a break, so come on, or do I have to race ya?" Watching him smirk, you smirked as well before he suddenly bolted. "Oh, your on!" you spoke, bolting after him.

You hate racing, especially the kind where you have to run.

Both of you tried your best to avoid people and kids, as he knew his way around, but you, sadly, didn't win as you kept bumping into things, getting lost, and somehow ended up not even on the same planet.

Overall, the race ended with him going back to find you, and you paying for his lunch.

Tough luck, huh?

He still laughing about it now, as you both were sitting in a booth, a half eaten pizza still in his mouth. "I can't believe, *cough*, you ended up in pirates cove. *cough.* Your eyes rolled. "How was I supposed to know my way around? It's my first-day dickhead." Setting his Pizza down, he leaned back against the booth, his hands going behind his head. "Yeah, that was my fault, sorry Newbie, I should have known you were prone to get lost, but hey, don't worry, we will have many re-matches to come. Did ya enjoy the pizza at least?" "Could have been better if I hadn't paid for it." He snorted as one of your eyebrows went up. "What?" "Ah, newbie, you're just a sore loser, but seriously how's the pizza? If we meet Chica today, she will ask you the rating; and won’t leave you alone about it. But…if you don't like it, just pull out a simple lie so she can be on your good side, ok?" Even more confused, you finished the crust before whipping your hands together. "Why would I have to lie? It's pretty freaking good. Better than the pizza I get, anyway." One of his eyebrows rose, putting his drink straw into his mouth. "and what pizza is that?" Hesitant, you glanced away for a second. "Pizza Hut-" "PFFFT!" He spat out his drink as you jumped a little. He coughed multiple times, hitting his chest while trying to bring himself back together, as you grabbed a hand ass full of napkins for him. "Damn, I know it's shitty pizza, but it's nothing to choke up about." Getting his breath, he took the napkins before sitting up. "N-No, not that, it's just, that place is for...." "Poor people?" He paused. "No, I was about to say-wait, your poor?" Chuckling, you plopped some ice into your mouth. "Why else would I get this Job? Crappy parents don't care for lost children like me." Feeling bad, he frowned a bit. "Sorry, can I ask what happened?" Shaking your head, you adjusted yourself again. "Another time, but hate to ask, isn't lunch break over?"

His Faz watch was way past the lunch break hours, and his eyes went out of his socket. "SHIT!" Jumping out of the booth, Cyrus grabbed your wrist unexpectedly, and you let out a scared squeal while getting yanked off your side of the booth. "TIME FOR MUSIC MAN NEWBIE!!" Holding onto your hat, you tried to keep up with him, but he was moving too fast, and you felt like you were on a speed boat with how much motion was going on. "Cryus, please slow down....we just ate p-pizza-" Ignoring your plea, he just continued pulling you fast as you headed towards the music man's area, as it was just down the hall. "No time, Newbie, cleaning doesn't happen itself; now, if we keep this pace, we might just be able to see music, Man, try to keep up!"

Face turning green, you didn't even know what to say because all you could think about was where the nearest trash can was. Let's just say even though it's already past lunch, the rest of the day...

Well, it can only get worse from here; what's worse than puking in front of your mentor?

Oh boy, there is a lot more worse things that could happen, a lot more.

Well, let’s just hope music man’s place has a trash can, because..

"Ah, made it just in time-hey, Newbie; stop puking, we are here!" Yeah, you both made it alright, with you ending up puking at the entrance's trash can.

You wanted to beat that happy little smug on his face as you were still hunched over, the pizza you just ate spilling out of your mouth.

But, before you could puke more, however, Cyrus, the rude mother f-er, grabbed your collar, and he dragged you along inside. "Cyrus, I need to puke more-"

"Nope! Dj is waiting, and his room needs a cleanin'!"

"Please, if you don't let me finish, Dj's room will be filled with my vomit-"

"You can puke inside; we have no time for shenanigans-HEY DJ!"

Not knowing you were already inside, you hopped up from the ground, forcing your puke to go back down to your stomach.

Your eyes widened with the unfamiliar scenery, as somehow, you both teleported to some wild nightclub that your friends would never invite you to.

A giant hole, tunnel-thing, was in the middle, with a unique, large-looking DJ booth sitting perfectly, towering over the dance floor, which had different colorful blocks made out of glass. It probably changes color when the DJ is active, but even if they aren’t on, it still looks pretty cool.

Man, if this room is for kids, then it’s really large, top notch, and kind of huge now that you think about it.

“This is Mr. Dj's room; his Job is to help the glam rocks with their performance, he has another hole leading to the stage, but this area is like a dance/music room for kids, adults, and even teens, so it's for all ages. But, sometimes, when Adults book it for a night, that wall there will reveal a mysterious bar for alcohol for them to drink from.” Your eyes widened with surprise. "That's allowed here?" He smiled at you. "It was banned once, for kid's safety, but once my good friend Gregory had a pretty genius Idea of hiding it from them and using it as an 'adult booking only thing,' then alcohol was available here at night, but only for adults, no one gets any if they're under age." "Ah, I see; if this room is used for partying, where is the DJ?" Cryus shrugged. "Probably talking to Little Dj, but don't worry, I'll call him again. It's important to let him know we clean, so he doesn't get the wrong idea of us being intruders or kids who want to party with him...HEY DJ, IT'S ME!!"

"IS THAT YOU, CYRUS? I'LL BE OUT IN A SEC" The deepness of his voice and its volume made you stiff, your heart not working anymore as it sent chills down your spine.

You could have sworn the room shook when this 'DJ' spoke, wondering how giant this DJ robot was...but once he started to come out of the tunnel, you couldn't believe your eyes.

Cryus smiled as a giant but very tall, half-spider-human thing came out, who went in front of his DJ mixing table.

He was the size of King Kong, and his height was as tall as the empire state building.

Not realizing he had some human features, his lips matched the color of his hair, which was a soft pink, while his 'skin' was pale blue paint complimenting his cheeks, chin, eyebrows, and the markings on his forehead.

He had multiple eyes since he looked like a spider, but, giant...really giant...Shit...

You felt like you were sweating balls as he looked a little intimidating. But, Cryus wasn't nervous at all as the robot spider smiled at the sight of him. "Hey, now I thought I heard your voice back there, Cyrus; what brought you to my place early today?" Smiling back, the boy adjusted his hat before he slapped your back ard, which made you stumble forward. "I gotta newbie with me today! Since your kids left early, we cleaned this place before the adults arrived!" Feeling nervous, your face looked to the floor as DJ looked at you, then back to him. "Ah, so that's the girl Deans been talking about, say, he wasn't kidding about her being Timid; guess that's my fault huh?" Cyrus threw an arm over your shoulder. "Timid?! You should have seen her an hour ago; she was talking up a storm! Come on, Y/n, introduce yourself!" He pushed you forward again, and you stumbled, of course, as you couldn't keep your balance as you accidentally tripped on a cord.

The Dj noticed as one of his giant fingers went in front of you just in time, preventing you from falling. Confused, the Dj picked you up by your clothes, bringing you higher in the air. Eyes widened, and your feet and arms scrambled as Heights scared the living shit out of you. 'Shit, is this how my tiny objects feel when I pick them up?!' you thought, feeling like this guy could just squish you like a pea, but he had no intentions of that, as he gently laid you down on his left hand, giving him a chance to get a better look at you.

Standing up, you could feel your legs tremble as you looked around, seeing no sign of Cyrus anywhere.

But, you paused when your face met with DJ's, as his eyes through his glasses pierced through your soul, which you most likely felt. "Little lady, my sensors read that you are nervous; I'm intimidating you ain't I?" Not sure how to answer, you gulped a bit. "U-Uhm, I don't mean to be rude, D-DJ, but it's just that you're so freaking big...like" He chuckled, which rumbled a lot as you struggled to stand, your but landing onto his palm. "I get it, lil one, you never seen a robot the size of me, but don't worry, I ain't that mean. Say, what is your name?"

Pointing to yourself with surprise, you got to your feet again. "M-My name?" He nodded. "Y-Y/n." He hummed with your response. "Well, Hello there, Y/n, my name Is DJ, I'm sure Cyrus has told you the details about me, but I'll tell you one thing, even though I'm big and intimidating, I'm easy to get along with." One of his fingers went to your head, moving it slightly to pat it, which caused a giggle to escape your mouth. Hearing that loud and clear, the Dj smiled while inching closer."Ya laughed! See? I ain't a bad guy, now; I say your style is pretty fresh, but don't tell Roxy that because she'll have my head for telling that to a stranger compared to her style, ok?" Head tilting, you sat down on his palm again. "Roxy?" DJ was now confused. "So you haven't taken her to them yet?" He was looking to Cyrus, who shook his head. "They were doing meet and greets; they are next!" The Dj nodded. "Ah, noted, but I am still honored for you two to see me, especially you, Y/n; I know you and Cryus gotta Job to do, so I will put Ya down." You felt sad as the Dj was warming up to you. Yeah, you didn't even talk the whole time, but you could tell from all the scary, tell exterior, inside, he was such a huge softie. Which is weird to notice since you just met the robot. He noticed a pout as he smiled, leaning closer to you. "Awh, it's alright, Y/n, we'll see each other again; I'll say bye when you head to the others, but for now..." Bringing you back to the ground, you hopped off his hand before turning as he formed a fist with the hand you just got off.

Looking up, you chuckled as you attached your fist to his. "This is a partial goodbye." Winking at you, your heart fluttered as he turned, leaving you to look at your hand.

He was so cool, and your fangirling emotions couldn't keep in.

Cyrus looked at you with a smirk before you looked back at the Dj, who was getting into his tunnel again.

Gripping your fist, you decided to say something you won't regret. "HEY, DJ!" Pausing, he turned to you, who had a wonderful smile on your face. "I LIKE YOUR SUNGLASSES, DUDE!" Holding up Piece signs, his eyes widened as you winked, his initial core heating up for some reason before he let out a deep chuckle, turning back towards the tunnel. "Keep this in mind, Cyrus." Confused, he still was smirking as he looked at Dj. "Keep what in mind, Dj?!"

Turning again, we could see a smirk forming the Dj's lips, as he couldn't get you winking at him out of his mind. He doesn't know what is happening or why his core is heating up like crazy, but he knows this.

Better than the last Newbie he encountered months ago, you were very different from that person, which makes you unique and fantastic. Hearing from Deans's's perspective that you were 'shy and timid' made him curious. But when you showed up, you proved him wrong. You weren't shy and timid but bright and brave, just like a lightbulb, which a Janitor should be.

hey i want to write more and i love elder scrolls, do u think ppl would read fic that's entirely about ocs? personally i find it more interesting to write stories within the confines of this world with my own characters rather than pre-existing ones but idk if people would read it

People absolutely will, given enough time and reason.

I always preach "write for yourself first and your audience second." If there's a story in your head that needs to be told, tell it! That's how all of my stories came to exist. But at the same time, having readers and having interaction is one of the best and most fulfilling parts of writing fanfiction. If we wanted to be alone with our stories, we'd all be writing original fiction right now.

I fully expected my story with an all-OC cast to be far less popular than, say, any of my Teldryn stories. Because people know what to expect when they click on a Teldryn story. But by the time I was writing Halfway to the Sky, I'd already written 30+ TES fanfics, each getting a little more plot-heavy and OC-heavy every time. So people knew what to expect from my writing, and I'd gained some trust.

So if your goal is curating an audience, my recommendation is to start with what people know. Work with familiar characters alongside your OCs. TES has an absolute wealth of characters to work with, and they're all so basic in their characterizations that they're easy to turn into little OCs in their own way. (I've done this 100 times over lol).

So to answer your question again with context: will people read stories with all OCs? Yes, but you have to gain their trust and prove that your story is worth reading. And sometimes (but not always!) the easiest way to do that is by writing what people are familiar with first.

A little art of your OCs here and there also goes a long way. ✨

Hello again! hope your well! So I think I get the premise of this but correct me if I’m wrong so In your comic sunstar doesn’t technically exist therefore if he were to develop a soul like the other stardroids it would be a whole other issue of “being that never existed develops an existence?”(or something similar? I’m not sure sorry ;-;) and figuring that whole situation out (I’m guessing the stardroids have to do that [like babysitting? Kind off??? I dunno]

And in “escape the temple” Sunstar being freed and becoming complacent with his status as a god has the stardroids(terra in particular) having to keep him out of trouble especially with the traps made for the sungod lines. It honestly makes me think of like those child leashes except Sungod size ( that made me laugh a little with sunstar just wondering off and whoever’s holding the leash getting dragged along{however unlikely that he would let himself be made to wear that I just thought it was funny}). I’ll be completely honest with you I live reading oc info pages and seeing art and stories/ storylines for them just gets me excited! I tell you I read through your entire oc list before I got to the comics cause I just love reading them helps get the brain cells moving for ideas lol. Especially cause of how interesting and well written they were! Just really gets me engaged and interested in the stories :) honestly thank you for answering my asks ;o; especially cause your not as active on here as on twitter and this is my only way of really asking ;-;. Hey there! Since these are getting long and a little specific, I’ll put it behind a cut, though I may opt to shift these to private answers if they start getting too spoily or personal.

The Stardroid comic is a “years later” followup on Gigamix, so I’m somewhat beholden to what Ariga-sensei has revealed, whether it be on TwiX or in lore-dumps like the Maniax books. Thankfully, he’s also VERY much a proponent of fans coming up with their own stories and headcanons (as mentioned when asked about hairstyles; since fans will frequently take his opinions and designs over the canon ones even when he’s not working in an officially-moderated capacity, and he doesn’t want to cause a rift with Capcom’s control over their own franchise and his own chances to work with them in the future).

That said, there isn’t MUCH 'canon' information on the Gigamix Stardroids, even in Maniax, with the bulk of it being focused on Terra and Mercury... but out of my own preferences, I’d still like to keep what’s available intact, and build off that, even if I end up building a LOT. In Sunstar’s case, he’s not even a robot, just a conglomerate of destructive energy and negative emotion. So trying to work with that and give HIM closure was rough. First, he needs a body and a soul...

Once he gets those, it's a bit rough on the Stardroids, too, but at the end of the day gets resolved by them (and a critical third party) realizing that what they understood of him was incomplete, and trying to figure out how to fix that...

Escape the Old Temple, in contrast, is technically built off the games (since it’s designed to be a game, itself), but presents a branch where Sunstar didn’t actually die at the end of World 5/V, merely faking his death and then masking the presence of himself and the other Stardroids (also miraculously surviving) so that they could rebuild at the edge of the solar system without further human intervention. The only reason Rock was able to defeat him in the first place was because he had just awoken from a who-knows-how-long slumber, and was essentially still booting up. Once at full power, he’s beyond pretty much anything human technology could throw at him in their current state.

He simply steps in when a ‘relic’ of the Stardroid’s ancient past (in the form of Antares’ trap-filled temple/tomb) shows up. On one hand, if Antares is still active, it could pose a threat to Earth. On the other, if someone like Wily decides to meddle, he could gain access to technology that could negatively impact what chances Earth has at a continued ‘peaceful’ existence. Rock proved that peace was possible, and Sunstar wants to do his part; whether or not the other Stardroids agree is another issue entirely, but their own stability is also threatened by the temple’s presence, so they might as well be the first line of defense (plus, they’d know what to do with the technology they loot, unlike some wacky mad human scientist).

Sun isn’t so much running off on his own, but when the others fail to return from scouting the temple, he and Terra dispatch themselves to get them back and end the threat personally. Sun’s approach to it is just... a little more haphazard and forceful (and frustrating for Terra). It’s less of a child-leash issue... but I will be honest, the mental image of that is hilarious and pretty much on-point. It’s definitely how Terra feels at times!

Mental Health Dump ahead, feel free to skip, but it’s the gist of things as they stand:

My biggest success with the [REDACTED] fandom pretty much set me up for unfair expectations on engagement, and ever since the thing that made me fall out of that fandom (which involved getting into official development, only to have my soul crushed and disregarded and left to rot under an NDA until it was too late to salvage my emotional state, causing me to lose many friends and all of my self-worth), I’ve suffered from intense RSD. That - plus a constant stream of working myself to burn-out for little to no engagement - has made me more or less a wreck, who can’t maintain reasonable creative function without sufficient external positive reinforcement to keep up my energy. However, because of my past expectations and relative success when it comes to OC engagement, the threshold for what’s considered ‘sufficient’ reinforcement is a lot higher than most people, and not reaching it causes me to sink lower and lower each time I ‘fail’.

Couple that with my bad track record for being stuck in jobs I hate IRL, and you’ve got a recipe for frequent meltdowns.

I know I should be getting help/therapy for this, but attempts to do so have ranged from getting simply brushed aside put on meds that make matters worse, to literally being told by a mental health screener that there’s nothing wrong with me and that my ‘problems’ are all because I’m a woman and my hormones are making me miserable (I’m not joking).

I was able to get decent headway into the Mega Man fandom as an escape born of trying to return to my roots, but I also had, at the time, just gotten a job I actually loved, and seemed stable and fulfilling and it gave me life and energy and enough free time to actually dedicate to larger projects (like the comic).

...And then the boss of that job started loading most of his management work on me (while keeping my title as 'sales associate' so the experience wouldn't reflect for future job hunting/unemployment), before betraying me and throwing the company away to pursue gambling and crypto (presumably, due to his suspicious lack of communication when asked for details), which landed me back in Corporate Retail Hell, which is where I currently reside, living alone amidst rapidly increasing rent, utilities, and general cost of living.

I am once again reliant on engagement... engagement I’m just not getting because the Tumblr environment has changed since the [REDACTED] days to dissuade comments/replies/asks, and the TwiX environment has changed to be so painfully algorithm-dependent that I can barely get scraps.

To be honest, I’m not ‘more active’ on TwiX anymore... and if anything, I’m on my way out there, too, due to the way Stinky ruined everything and made the environment hostile and unstable. But I can’t shift my weight fully to Tumblr, either, because I don’t trust it to not eventually fall into the [REDACTED] trap of people only approaching me hoping I’ll be their friend so that they can get free art out of me (and a few people have already thrown up the red flags of that behavior, making me even more on-guard).

I also get the feeling that this is a community that prioritizes giving the time of day to people actively mingling with all the other creators; I can’t get away with what I did at the height of my drive, where I’d create characters and people would stop by and enjoy them with me. What little energy I have either goes to creating, or to maintenance, and unless I’ve got a reasonable stream of incoming energy to spend, I can’t feasibly mingle the way people seem to expect. It’s too big a space to spread myself so thin.

When I started my comic, I lived in a hole under a rock. The world I knew was small, and a small amount of engagement was enough. Then I stepped out from that safety and into the fandom and saw how large and expansive it really is, and how insignificant I am, and how effortlessly other people doing similar things to me can get all the validation in the world from 5-minute white-background line doodles of their own OCs, while I struggle to get full pieces recognized... and I’ve more or less become overwhelmed by a combination of fandom agoraphobia and personal futility.

If I can make something that looks okay in one go with minimal frustration, I might post it... but seeing how little that gets me unless it involves "popular fav" canon characters means that if I hit any snags in a larger project with original components, ANY frustration at all, I’m more likely to simply stop, out of fear that the energy spent to leap the hurdles won’t be recouped by the final product.

That's why the one Ask still sitting in the Remes box hasn't been answered; I wanted to precede answering it with a larger story (albeit an unrelated one, but I wanted to get that story into people's heads going forward), but hitting snags in that story and realizing I'd most likely post it and get 6 notes total made me just... not feel like it'd be worth it.

I thank you for your kind words, I truly do... but right now I am just one failure too far over the line to be anything more than an eyesore and a liability until I recoup...

Specifically her backstory, I’ve seen snippets of her lore throughout your account but I’ve yet to find her whole backstory explained in one post (wouldn’t be surprised if you made a post like that but I haven’t found it) so yeah I just wanted to ask what her backstory is. Her lore seems super interesting :D

She was meant to be the Yellow Hero, but she ended up coming out gray and powerless- the most they could do was levitate anything lighter than a ballpoint pen in weight. So, you can probably tell how that went. Ae was thrown to the side for another, stronger Hero to be created: Gold.

Her initial assigned caretaker, Redd, did. Not Take It Well, to say the very least. He was a nobody his whole life, he saw having a Hero as a way to make a name for himself, and was very pissed when he found out that Bug was defective.

Bug was okay with her 'needing to be replaced' at first- after all, Paradise did need a proper Hero. But, when Redd began expressing distaste towards aer mere existence, ae grew bitter. The Trees put them in this position. They'd set her up for failure!

And so, her story started off horribly.

3 years into Redd's abuse, the Pink Corruption started up again. Bug had heard that Heroes could shatter if the Corruption damaged them enough... And also, let's just say that she'd been hoping for a certain yellow triangle's downfall. Totally nothing to do with the 'shattering' thing . . . Totally.

Eventually she ended up joining the Main Gang™ (all of the Heroes are matured at this point, I should mention :>) after she saw them passing through town- and they followed them, and by the time ae was spotted the group was too far to return aer, so they just took her along with them. (Also, the others had mixed reactions upon finding out that Pyrare knew of her existence because he was told upon receiving Gold. Gold was especially pissed.)

Anywho, back to Bug she was... Not fun to have around initially, not at all. Picking fights with the other Heroes (or, trying to), challenging anyone that said anything, etc... But, they eventually calmed the fuck down after some of the group (mostly Tsavorite, I'll mention) was actually nice to them.

...Ae liked that.

At the end of the Corruption, she does TIO alongside the other Heroes (and Cyanide) I'll mention, I'm not sure how exactly just yet (still figuring it out) but she does end up doing so. Fun fact: as they were fighting, they smacked Gold and went "oops." Afterwards, ae was exhausted due to the sudden surge of power because 1. her connection to the Trees of Life had just been restored, and 2. she was unmatured and not prepared at all for that exact same surge of power. Ae didn't care though. She started bawling her eyes out from happiness that day.

Once all of that was over, she was assigned a new caretaker, a hexagon monster named Hexalace. The status of 'caretaker' was now fully stripped away from Redd (about damn time), and Bug could begin her new life, with lots of healing ahead of her. But- she'd be okay.

She had to be.

I don't have very many specifics set down after this point yet, but she did get matured eventually by the groups Zef, FantomenK and Kubbi.

Anyways yeah they fistfought Gold a lot and often got into trouble because of it. But after a long while Hexalace finally convinced aer that hey, no matter how much you don't like him, this isn't right.

So Bug debated on it for a while and apologized to Gold. They hugged by the way.

and uhhh. that's all the important bits :D heres some trivia (that you didn't ask for but Bug /silly)

most of these are copied and pasted from some part of another post but its fine 👍

she often has anger outbursts bc like. Redd (i want him dead /neg) didnt teach her anything at all in her entire life. and so she was never taught how to healthily manage her anger

most, if not all, of their nicknames consist of just. bugs. Moth. Firefly. Bee. Wasp and Hornet are used a lot by the other Heroes (in an endearing way ofc). Beetle is by far everyones (esp including Bug's) #1 fav tho (she secretly named her journal "Beetle" but she wont ever admit it)

Bug got nervous at just the idea of maturing and they straight-up screamed when they got the first piece for them

before she was finally given her abilities and was able to float (so before the corruption ended) she struggled to climb onto tall stuff like chairs n things like that. and one time one of the other Heroes or caretakers noticed her struggling to do smth like that and just picked them up and set them down on it and she almosr cried

ae abso-fucking-lutely can buzz

ae's an avid birdwatcher. ae will talk to HOURS about it to Hexalace (Hexalace is TERRIFIED of birds BUT she tries her best to listen anyway

before she ended up apologizing to Gold for being a bitch she started going out of her way to do little things for him- very simple things like finding something he was looking for and leaving it in his windowsill during the night. (said example scared the shit out of Gold)

she listens to the other Heroes' rambles about their interests a lot and thats how she got into most of her own (she tinkers with a bit of technology thanks to Gold, in fact. shut up im inserting my headcanons here /silly/lh)
