#trying to make a skill that's basically just two normal attacks#but for it to do exactly double damage it'd need to apply defense twice too#which it won't let me#I think it'd also work if I could set STR-F to 200 and leave ATK-F at 100#since in the damage calculation strength is applied after the defense calculation is already done#but it won't let me do that either#all the -F stuff is capped at 100 except ATK-F which is capped at 200#now I have to either accept that this skill is way stronger than it's supposed to be#or go into the script and change the damage calculation formula so that defense applies double to skills by default#and then change all other skills to only apply half defense to balance that out#which tbf would be a pretty easy change even for someone like me who knows nothing about coding#I guess I could also make it so both physical and magic defense applies to this skill and balance it that way#but I'm not sure about that#I already had to mess with the script so I could have the skill power at 0 without resulting in automatic misses
