Chapter 6: Dead Crow Do Not Eat
“Take me with you. I need to work, Rook.” He caught her by the arm. “We have a contract. Use me.” “Trust me, you wouldn’t want to know what happens to people when I use them.” She moved closer, trailing a finger up his arm. He stepped backwards, releasing his hold on her with a groan. “Teia is a bad influence on you. You were never this much of a flirt before. I can’t even have a conversation with you.” “I’ve barely seen Teia in the last year.” Rook placed her hands on her hips. “Did Viago send you to nag at me in his place?” “No. You’re just…not the Fiammetta I remember.” He said and glanced to the side. Rook arched an eyebrow. “You used my name.” “You asked me to.” Her gaze lingered before shifting to the schools of fish in the meditation chamber’s window. “Neve and I are going to Dock Town to meet with the Threads. You can join us.” Her arms fell to her sides. “We leave in ten.”  She leaned in to murmur in his ear as she walked by. “And don’t pretend the change isn’t working in your favor.”

Neve’s demeanor softened as the days went on. Unsure if it was duty or guilt driving her, Rook dedicated much of her time to helping out in Dock Town, which incidentally provided a good excuse to avoid Lucanis. Even better, when a letter from Viago arrived requesting assistance in Treviso on several matters, she sent the Demon of Vyrantium in her stead. He could live up to her cousin’s standards.
Soon, Rook found herself in high demand. Davrin’s invitation for her to train in the Arlathan Forest with him and Assan turned into a much needed reprieve. Later, she accompanied Harding and Taash into the Deep Roads to seek out a better understanding of Lace’s newfound power. Unfortunately, they ended up fighting an animated assembly of rocks and getting vague riddles from an ancient stone.
Wardens Evka and Antoine summoned Rook to inform her of new blight-related developments in the Hossberg Wetlands, but the First Warden cut her visit short. Upon returning to the Lighthouse, Emmrich requested she and Bellara’s company investigating the curiously named “Hand of Glory”, only to find an old colleague abusing the living and the dead. Dejected, he spent the next several days in his chambers, but Rook was able to cheer him up by accompanying him and Manfred on a graveyard stroll. It seemed to, for lack of a better term, lift his spirits.
Exhausted from her endeavors, Rook returned to the meditation chamber, propping her staff against the wall and depositing her bag next to the wardrobe.
“Don’t tell me you’ve spent so much time away from the Crows that you’ve forgotten to check a room when you enter it, Rook.”
Startled, she looked down to find Lucanis sprawled across the chaise, his arm propped behind his head. He shifted into a sitting position, leaning forward.
“Viago would have a fit if he knew you were taking necromancy lessons.”
“We lit candles and laid flowers on graves, Lucanis.” She rummaged through her pack, setting aside a few parcels. Gifts for Davrin and Neve.
“Did you tire of the pantry? Certainly the Lighthouse could conjure you a new dwelling place outside of my chambers.”
He rose to his feet, following her as she wandered around the room.
“I was checking for those choke points you mentioned.”
Rook’s hand hovered over Varric’s shaving mirror just as she spotted Lucanis’ reflection. He stood behind her, leaning against a bookcase, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.
Fuck. He was getting good at this. Whatever this was.
“Are we done? I have to be somewhere soon.”
“Take me with you. I need to work, Rook.” He caught her by the arm. “We have a contract. Use me.”
“Trust me, you wouldn’t want to know what happens to people when I use them.” She moved closer, trailing a finger up his arm.
He stepped backwards, releasing his hold on her with a groan. “Teia is a bad influence on you. You were never this much of a flirt before. I can’t even have a conversation with you.”
“I’ve barely seen Teia in the last year.” Rook placed her hands on her hips. “Did Viago send you to nag at me in his place?”
“No. You’re just…not the Fiammetta I remember.” He said and glanced to the side.
Rook arched an eyebrow. “You used my name.”
“You asked me to.”
Her gaze lingered before shifting to the schools of fish in the meditation chamber’s window.
“Neve and I are going to Dock Town to meet with the Threads. You can join us.” Her arms fell to her sides. “We leave in ten.”
She leaned in to murmur in his ear as she walked by.
“And don’t pretend the change isn’t working in your favor.”
─── ⊹⊱♤⊰⊹ ───
Lucanis had always said death was his calling. He just didn’t know Rook would be the cause.
She was playing with him. He knew she was. What he couldn’t figure out was whether it was a game, a defense mechanism, or a way to get him to lower his guard.
He’d never been intimidated by strong women. After all, the Crows wouldn’t function without them.
“Well-positioned seeds, planted subtly and nurtured over time, grow stronger roots,” Caterina had always said. Few men among their ranks, except Viago, had the patience for that level of foresight or strategy.
But romancing strong women…that was a different story. Rather than serious relationships, Lucanis had fumbled through a few short-term romances and casual encounters in his early twenties. He wasn’t like Illario, who could have a different woman in his bed each night. Better to give up on intimacy altogether. Feelings were risky and falling in love got people killed. Being alone was easier when he could find pleasure in little things - coffee, cooking…killing. If he didn’t keep anyone close, it was one less person to worry about, one less distraction from his work.
He settled down beside Rook in their booth at the Cobbled Swan, wincing as he drank coffee that might as well have been brewed in piss.
“So…the Threads and the Shadow Dragons working together.” She said, “how do we feel about that?”
“It’s what’s best for Dock Town.” Neve replied, “I saved their leader, Damas, last week. They have just as much motivation to take out the Venatori as we do - and they owe me one.”
Rook tensed beside him and Lucanis looked up, following her gaze towards a tall, fair-haired man, likely in his mid-30s, walking in. Well dressed, he walked with an air that made it clear he considered himself important. Accompanying him was a younger, shorter man with enough resemblance to Illario that Lucanis stiffened in surprise.
“Shit.” Rook whispered, her eyes glued to them as they approached.
“Trouble?” Neve asked.
“Well…”
“Dock Town’s protectors, at your service,” the tall one confidently eased himself into his seat across from them. “What can the Threads do for…” He paused, brow furrowing as he gave Rook a once over.
“What are you doing here?”
“SMELLS LIKE SMOKEPOWDER AND AROUSAL-”
Arms crossed over his chest, Lucanis grimaced and turned his head to the side, trying to keep Spite in check.
“Makal Damas? You said you were a Shadow Dragon.” Rook said, “Not the leader of the Threads.”
“And you said you were an Antivan Crow. I thought we were having a little fun lying.”
“She is a Crow.” Neve said dryly.
“ You’re the Rook everyone’s making such a fuss about?” Damas asked, leaning back in his chair with a smirk.
“Anyone care to explain what’s going on?” Neve asked.
“Rook and I have a little history, that’s all.” He took a swig from his stein. “Well, at least we can skip half the introductions. This is Elek Tavor, my second in command.”
Elek looked up from tracing the rim of his drink and nodded.
“And you’re the infamous mage-killer?” Damas asked Lucanis.
“Something like that.” he leaned over Rook to trade his coffee for a bottle of wine at the end of the table.
“I’ve got names of missing people, including those hardly anyone noticed yet,” Elek interjected, eager to change the topic. “All yours. No catch.”
“No catch? Now that’s friendship.” Neve said.
“Consider it a personal favor, if you want,” Damas purred.
“The Venatori are getting too confident.” Elek continued, “We’ll increase our odds of getting them out of our streets if we work together.”
“You seem tough enough on your own,” Lucanis said. “Why do you need us?”
“I get my knuckles bloody from time to time. But if you haven’t noticed, there’s a lot going on. Those blood mages walked into this bar and abducted me .” Damas stuck his finger into his chest. “I’d like to correct that. The Threads are better neighbors than the Venatori, don’t you think?”
“They are,” Neve chimed in. “Let’s speak candidly, then. Aelia’s a pain for both of us. I want her dead.”
“Okay. Then we both hunt for Aelia.” Damas said. “You find her, you kill her. We find her? We’ll do the same. Dock Town is ours .” He leaned forward in his seat, lowering his voice. “But I’m open to sharing, Rook. Bear that in mind.”
“So generous. I’ll remember that when I put all this on your tab.”
“I knew I liked you.” Damas rose from his chair. “We’ll keep you posted.” He said to Neve and left for the door with Elek.
Neve’s head snapped towards Rook once they were out of sight. “When did you sleep with the head of the Threads? ”
“Give me a break. It was like a year ago and if I had any idea who he was - or how bad it would be -“
“ YOU COULD SHOW HER SOMETHING BETTER, LUCANIS.”
Lucanis choked on his wine, quickly clearing his throat to cover it up, and stood abruptly from the table.
“I’m going back to the Lighthouse. Next time you bring me along, make sure there’s something for me to kill.”
─── ⊹⊱♤⊰⊹ ───
As she ascended the steps to her chamber, all Rook wanted was a nap. When Davrin came running after her, she knew it wasn’t happening.
“Rook,” Davrin panted, bending over to catch his breath, “the First Warden is summoning everyone back to Weisshaupt. Word of darkspawn hordes on the move, and an archdemon with them.”
“Fuck,” her hand instinctively reaching up to rub her tired eyes. “How much time do we have?”
“A day, a week? We’re going in blind, though. We need to know what we’re up against.”
The possibility of sleep now seemed distant and trivial, as guilt gnawed at her conscience. Was she so selfish that she could think about sleeping at a time like this?
“I’ll talk to Solas. Make sure the others are ready to move.”
No longer eager to return to her quarters, she begrudgingly shoved the doors open. Conversations with the Dread Wolf were rarely enjoyable.
With a lazy flick of her wrist, ignited a row of candles on the ancient altar in front of the window and knelt before them. Eyes closed, she drew focus, her consciousness wandering from her body, searching the Fade for Solas’ prison.
“How fares your battle?”
She opened her eyes with a start. The sight before her was bleak and colorless, a barren expanse stretching into infinity.
“The gods are moving against Weisshaupt and the Grey Wardens. I have little time. There are rumors of an archdemon involved. I need to know how to deal with them.”
Solas clasped his hands behind his back and paced, as if searching the ground beneath his feet for answers. “How are the Grey Wardens? Do they understand the danger they’re in yet?”
“Some. The First Warden is completely in denial, though. That…complicates things.”
Solas halted, his gaze piercing through her, his demeanor growing more serious. “To defeat Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain, you must unite the Wardens under your banner. How will you bring them to your side?”
“Seems I need to get around the First. Easy. Make him lose credibility. Classic political destabilization.”
“Spoken like an Antivan Crow.” Solas’ voice carried a hint of ambiguity that made it difficult for Rook to decipher whether he was praising or criticizing her.
“There never were Tevinter gods. The archdemons, as you call them, are weapons of the Evanuris. To harm them, you must first defeat their life force - the dragon thralls. And even with their dragons dead, they’ll be difficult to defeat.”
As Rook absorbed Solas’ revelations, her heart raced, its pounding echoing in her ears. “So what do I do?”
“Use my dagger. The one you recovered. It can pierce their enchantments and strike them down.”
“Got it,” Rook said, turning on her heel, eager to leave.
“You’re going in too fast! Take a moment. Remember what is at risk!”
She whirled around.
“I know exactly what is at risk!” she pointed at her chest. “That dragon could have leveled my city! Killed my family!”
“Yes. Good. Hold on to that. Remember the loss you have already survived. You will endure more, but your motivation to prevent it at any cost will keep you on the right path.”
Rook scoffed. “You’re sick.”
“And you’re tired. Perhaps you need some rest. A moment to remember…”
As Solas faded away, the meditation room came back into view. Rook let out a long sigh and laid her head on the seat of the chaise. What the fuck was the Dread Wolf even talking about? Always lessons in everything. He was just as bad as Varric, as her father…
Exhaustion overwhelmed her, making her eyelids heavy and her limbs weak, a weariness that seeped into her very bones. A planned moment of focused breathing, meant to center herself, stretched into minutes, then…
Nothing.
─── ⊹⊱♤⊰⊹ ───
Fiamma woke to a noise coming from the den and jolted upright in bed. She and her father’s small apartment carried sound through every wall, and she was certain if she’d noticed it, he was already investigating.
When little flames are scared, they should be neither seen nor heard.
With caution, she slipped her hand between her mattress and the bed frame, retrieving the encircled blade she’d gotten for her 17th birthday from Viago just days ago. She crept towards the door, carefully opening it a crack, and peered through the darkness, her eyes straining to see.
“I’ll give you a chance to leave my home, without consequence, but you must go now .” Her father growled from the kitchen. Fiamma peered around the corner, discovering him with his blade drawn, defensively poised and ready for a fight. She knew if she weren’t here, he’d have already engaged.
He was buying her time.
The intruder was facing away from her, and in the dim light filtering from the windows, she could see the glint of her father’s eyes as they met hers.
“You’re a Crow, no? Did someone put a contract on me? Surely my nephew, Viago, doesn’t think I’m a threat to him becoming Talon…”
Still buying time, but also providing thinly veiled directions. Fiamma read between the lines.
Get out. Get help. Get Viago.
She nodded in the dark and retreated to her room. The instant she shut her door behind her, she heard pots and pans flying, kitchen cabinets being thrown open, blows exchanged. Her movements were controlled and calm as she slipped a cloak over her nightgown and pulled on her boots. Unlatching her window, she crawled on top of her dresser and outside to the roof.
This wasn’t their first break-in, or assassination attempt. Her father would be fine. She was simply leaving to give him peace of mind and fetch a cleanup crew.
She navigated the rooftops to Viago’s, a short, five-minute walk, and jumped several feet over a gap in houses, aiming for his balcony. Missing just by inches, she caught herself on the railing, clinging to the rungs. She hoisted herself up, feeling the strain in her muscles as she flopped down onto the balcony stomach-first.
As she got up and brushed herself off, she caught sight of her cousin approaching, knife in hand, lowering it when he spotted her. With him was Illario Dellamorte, who he’d adopted as some sort of mentee. The boys always seemed to stick together. It was fine. She had Teia and her father. She’d kick their asses someday.
Viago had taken contracts as soon as Caterina had allowed him to, and it wasn’t long before he’d amassed a small fortune for himself. He was a talented assassin. Incredible with poisons, not too bad with a blade either. Aunt Viama had married a few years back and settled down just outside of Treviso, so he’d purchased this apartment for himself as a reward for his efforts, deciding it was time for him to branch out on his own.
“I’ve told you Fiamma.” Viago said through the glass, unlocking several deadbolts. “Use the front door.”
“The streets might not be safe. Someone broke into our house.” She said, as if reciting something she’d memorized. Everything felt slow, disjointed.
“What?” Illario blurted.
“It was a Crow. My father’s holding him off in the kitchen. He’ll probably have handled it by the time we get back, but there could be others…”
“Right. Let’s go,” Viago said, leaping over his balcony railing to the neighboring roof with ease. Fiamma followed, successfully making the jump this time, with Illario trailing close behind.
“Taking a contract on the Flame of Treviso. Fools.” He mumbled. “I’d like to know what idiot would even put one out.”
“If it’s really a contract, it’s not sanctioned by Caterina or any of the Talons, to my knowledge.” Viago said, “Your father isn’t interested in Talon, so it can’t be anyone fearing competition..”
As they reached the apartment, Fiamma nudged her window pane and slid her curtains aside. Before she could step through, Viago held his hand out, entering first. Illario ducked in after him, holding out his hand to Fiamma. His arms were warm, a reassuring sense of security as he guided her down from atop the dresser.
The house was silent, still dark. A knot wound itself tightly in Fiamma’s stomach.
Something was wrong.
Viago motioned for them to stay back, slowly opening her bedroom door and creeping into the hall. The floorboards creaked slightly beneath his weight, likely intentionally on his part, as he tried to draw out the intruder. Illario’s arm snaked tightly around Fiamma’s waist, his shortsword drawn as they followed, shattered glass and splintered wood crunching beneath their boots.
The kitchen was a disaster, but noticeably empty. It wasn’t until Fiamma turned around to face the den that she stepped in something wet. Her breathing became shallow as she waved her hand to ignite a candle, but her nerves made her magic unstable, lighting every source of light in the apartment.
The three of them squinted, eyes adjusting to the overwhelming brightness, before Fiamma’s legs gave way beneath her. Illario clung tightly to her as she fell to the floor with a single, devastated sob, burying her face in his shoulder.
Dante De Riva’s lifeless body was slumped against the fireplace, a dead crow stuffed where his head should have been. His body was drenched in blood, the wedding band still on his left hand gleaming in the light through streaks of crimson.
This wasn’t a clean job, wasn’t just a contract. It was a butchering.
Viago crouched beside the body, elbows on his knees, and lowered his head.
“Get her out of here, Illario.” He said, his tone void of emotion as he looked around for clues. This was future Talon, Viago. Not a grieving nephew. “Send Caterina and Lucanis back. Take major streets, stay out of the shadows.”
Illario nodded, his grip on Fiamma tightening as he lifted her off the floor. Her chest heaved, throat constricting as her gaze fell upon her father’s desecrated corpse again, and he hoisted her into his arms, carrying her out the front door.
“Walk Fiammetta. You have to.”
She shook her head sadly as he set her down outside, tears streaming down her face.
“I promise you, there will be time to grieve later, but now we have to go .” He cupped her face in his hands. “If you think you’re safe out here, weeping in the street, you’re wrong. ”
She sniffed and nodded, and he ran his thumbs over her cheeks, wiping away her tears.
“No one will hurt you. Not while I’m here.”
He took her by the hand and led her through the streets to Caterina’s villa, stopping to glance around corners, fingertips never leaving the hilt of his sword.
The doors of Villa Dellamorte crashed open, making the windows tremble in their frames. Illario let them rattle shut behind him as he guided Fiamma to the couch in the sitting room.
“Mierda, Illario, did you really have to do that?”
His cousin Lucanis appeared in the doorway and paused, his forehead wrinkling as he drew nearer.
“ De Riva? What’s going on?”
Illario looked over his shoulder, exchanging silent words with his cousin. Lucanis looked down at Fiamma, her hands woven through her hair, as she hung her head low, staring at the flames rising in the hearth across from her.
“No…”
“Parents always die, right?” Fiamma asked, raising her head to stare intently at Lucanis. His face twisted in a grimace of guilt and agony, his lips parting slightly.
“And someone always pays.” Illario reassured her through clenched teeth.
“Who is slamming doors in my house!” Caterina shouted as she rounded the corner, her cane knocking against the wood. Her gaze fell upon Fiamma for several seconds, and she glanced between her grandsons in horror.
“Dante?” she breathed. They both nodded solemnly in confirmation.
“How can this be?” Caterina demanded. “Where is Viago?”
“With the body.” Illario said quietly.
Caterina frowned. “Lucanis, go. Stop by the Cantori’s on the way and send Arandrateia here.” She said, “I will meet you at the De Riva’s.”
He departed swiftly, without question.
The First Talon’s obedient little dog.
“Illario, get Fiammetta a change of clothes from the spare room. Mierda…”
Fiamma looked down at herself, finding the lower half of her nightgown drenched in her father’s blood. Following a trail of crimson footsteps, she realized she’d tracked blood across Caterina’s white marble floors.
“These moments define Crows, Fiammetta.” Caterina said. “I have buried my own parents, my children, all but two of my grandchildren. None of them died natural deaths. It does not get easier, but you endure. Or you let it get you killed, too.”
She leaned forward on her cane. The handle featured an intricately carved crow’s head, and Fiamma’s stomach roiled.
“Honor your father in death by not forfeiting your life. Grieve, and then let that fury guide you to survive.”
Caterina rose, placing a hand on Fiamma’s shoulder. “This deed will not go unpunished. The Dellamortes and the De Rivas are strong houses. Us Crows honor our own.” She said, her cane scraping across the floor as she departed.
Bullshit, Fiamma thought to herself, the Crows will slit one another’s throats for a shred of power.
When Illario returned, Fiamma couldn’t find the energy to change into the clean clothes he brought her. She sank to the floor, kneeling on the bearskin rug in front of the fire, wrapping her cloak tightly around her.
Illario set the neatly folded stack of clothes on the couch and joined her. Fiamma turned to her side and rested her head on his lap, staring into the hearth. His fingers hovered for a moment, surprised, before he stroked her hair.
“I will avenge your father’s death, Fiammetta. I swear on my life.”
She didn’t respond. Numbed, she transitioned into a state somewhere between dreaming and disassociation. She didn’t hear the door in the foyer creak open, or the shuffling of feet behind them. Only felt Teia reaching for her hands, squeezing them tightly in her own, caused her to stir from her oblivion.
“Fi…”
Face crumpled in dismay, Teia laid down beside her, and the three clung to one another until sunrise, when Viago and Lucanis returned home, looking nearly as haunted as Fiamma felt.
─── ⊹⊱♤⊰⊹ ───
“Rook? Hey! Rook.”
Davrin banged on her chamber door with his fist again, and her eyes snapped open. Disoriented, she braced herself on the chaise and pushed herself up.
“Coming!”
She blinked rapidly, trying to dismiss the memories and emotions threatening to resurface, and grabbed her things.
“About damn time.” He grumbled as she joined him in the hall.
“How long was I out?” Rook asked, hurrying down the stairs after him.
“I don’t know, but things at Weisshaupt are getting worse. It’s time to go. Hopefully, your Dread Wolf friend had some insight.”
“He’s not my friend. We don’t get tea in his little prison and exchange pleasantries.”
“What do you exchange, then?”
“Information. Verbal jabs, mostly.”
When they arrived in the hall, everyone else was waiting for her command.
“There’s an Eluvian in storage in the vault. It was a gift from the Dalish.” Davrin said.
“Ours should go right to it…probably.” Bellara added.
Rook caught sight of the Crow head buttons sewn into Lucanis’ vest and hesitated, overcome with a desire to pluck each one loose and cast them into the nothingness of the Fade. He took notice of her lingering gaze and furrowed his brow, tilting his head. With a deep breath, she steeled herself and shifted her attention.
“So we sneak into Weisshaupt, nice and quiet, then find Antoine and Evka.”
“Was…there a plan after that?” Neve asked.
“I’m not giving a speech.” Rook muttered, “Let’s go kill a fucking god.”
A/N: Okay well now that you've met Fi's dad...sorry! Lots of building this chapter, next one moves a bit more quickly. Next stop: Weisshaupt, Spite, and brooding. Thanks for the support! It really keeps my head on and me motivated. I appreciate you all soooo much. x

If it actually turns out that Iron Fan, Nezha and Erlang used to have this Celestial Warrior Siblings dynamic... Besides his obvious rivalry with Wukong, I think Erlang's main beef (pun intended) should be with DBK.
Because let's face it; a large majority of what Erlang would probably see as "bad things" that have happened to his siblings are done by or direct results of the Bull King's actions.
Iron Fan's disgrace and "fall from Heaven"? DBK seduced her (plus Erlang would probably think black mail and Stockholm Syndrome are involved)
Creation of Samadhi Fire and Nezha getting stuck with what seemed like eternal 24/7 guard duty? Wouldn't have happened if DBK hadn't sired Red Son or at least controlled his spawn.
Making Iron Fan a single mother and her being left to handle all the demon politics and territorial struggles on her own? Wouldn't have happened if DBK hadn't picked up a fight with Wukong and gotten himself imprisoned (though I do personally believe the Celestial Realms forced Wukong's hand)
Nezha failing his guard duty because Wukong needed the Fire to stop LBD? Again, wouldn't have happened if DBK hadn't released the damn witch the first place.
The death of the Jade Emperor and causing even more disgrace to Nezha? Well... that one wasn't really his fault, but I'm sure Erlang wouldn't hesitate to roll part of the blame on DBK for being a former member of the Brotherhood and failing to stop them when he had a chance.
Is this post just explanation for why my personal head canon of Erlang's personality being summarized as "technically a good guy but definitely an (kinda justified) a-hole" would make so much sense?
Of course!
(Besides, I really, really want to see RS and/or PIF interacting with Celestials)

"Capture that demon before she flees!"
Her hands trembled as she gazed at her reflection in the ornate gold mirror. Once healthy skin now bore a sickly pallor, brown eyes turned crimson, tears staining her cheeks red. Even her jet-black hair had transformed to snowy white. Confusion and fear gripped her as she struggled to comprehend the inexplicable transformation.
As guards roughly seized her arms, she pleaded, "No, please! I've done nothing wrong! I don't understand any of this!"
"Of course, you'd deny it, Your Imperial Majesty," sneered the Minister of Rites, one of many who had urged her husband, the emperor, to accept their daughters as concubines. "Little did you know, those potions you received from the royal healer for the past month were meant to reveal your true nature by shedding your human guise."
Horror pierced her heart as realisation dawned. The tonics meant to maintain her health had been a ruse. She had been poisoned, it explained the sudden and alarming changes in her body and health.
"You," she whispered, the weight of the truth settling heavily upon her. "It was all you."
She was not naive; she understood the ministers' discontent with her influence over Baekhyun throughout his reign. Their persistent attempts to sway him, offering their daughters as concubines to bolster their own power and threaten her position, had not escaped her notice. Their frustration must have reached its zenith when her husband adamantly refused their advances, steadfast in his commitment to her as his one and only empress.
"Hm? I'm not sure I understand what you're implying," the man smirked, his deceptive tone belying his words. "We've long suspected there was more to you, Your Imperial Majesty. It appears you're indeed a demon, effortlessly manipulating the emperor. Surely a man of his stature would desire more than one woman by his side?"
Struggling against the guards' grasp, she retorted weakly, "You vile cowards. You'll rue the day my husband learns of this..."
The pieces of the puzzle fell into place, revealing their sinister plot. They had bided their time, seizing the perfect opportunity amidst the chaos of war. With Baekhyun, the virtuous emperor she had wished him to be, leading the army, they saw their chance to poison her, framing her as a demon to eradicate her while he was away.
"Or perhaps we'll witness the rise of the ambitious emperor we've long awaited. He will finally be able to reach his full potential without you here obstructing his path," he sneered, gesturing towards the approaching healer with another bowl of poison. "Just comply and drink your tonic, Your Imperial Majesty. Your suffering will soon end, and our nation will thrive under the rule of a new emperor, liberated from your naive ideals."
As the sinister men tightened their grip, she sobbed in agony, the relentless headache from the past month resurfacing with a vengeance. Each touch felt like a dagger through her skull, each word a cruel reminder of her plight.
With an apologetic bow of his head, the healer cupped her jaw, his hands trembling as he forced the bowl of poison towards her lips. "Forgive me, Your Imperial Majesty," he whispered, his voice trembling with remorse. "This will be the last one, I promise."
She gagged as the bitter liquid slid down her throat, burning with each swallow. Crimson tears streamed down her white face as she choked on the vile concoction, feeling her strength wane with each passing moment. In that desperate moment, all she could do was pray for salvation from the nightmare consuming her.
As the healer finally released his hold, she felt despair engulf her. The bitter poison settled within her damaged insides, coursing through her veins like a silent killer, slowly consuming her from within.
"It is done, my lord. The empress will not survive through the night," the healer declared, his voice carrying a finality that chilled her to the bone.
The minister's grin widened with satisfaction. "Excellent. Arrange for someone to confirm her death by dawn. Let her enjoy her final moments in the comforts of her own chambers. His Imperial Majesty will surely be grateful we've rid him of his treacherous demon of a wife upon his return from war."
Laying limply in the centre of her grand chambers, the very space she had once despised before ascending to empress, memories flooded her mind. She recalled the scepticism that clouded her heart when she first found herself falling for the crown prince of the nation. After all, history had taught her that no happy endings awaited the women who loved emperors. But Baekhyun was different—he was loving, caring, and considerate, going to great lengths to prove his devotion to her.
He swore never to take concubines, to resist the allure of power, and to remain hers, and hers alone. Despite the admiration of the entire nation, he remained committed to prioritising her above all else, even if it meant drawing the ire of his ministers and officials. Their accusations of his partiality towards his empress over his nation only served to strengthen his resolve, his unwavering loyalty to her.
But now, as she lay weakened by poison, she realised the tragic irony of his goodness. It was his very commitment to righteousness that led him to the battlefield, refusing to let his men fight in his stead. And it was this decision that ultimately sealed their fate, leaving her to face the consequences of his noble intentions.
As the darkness closed in around her, she couldn't help but wonder how Baekhyun would react upon returning to find her lifeless form in this state. Would he succumb to the poisonous words of his ministers, believing their accusations that she had been a demon all along? Would he entertain the notion that she had bewitched him, clouding his judgement and leading him astray?
Or would he remain firm in his loyalty, unwavering in his belief that this was nothing more than a cruel ploy to rid him of her for good? In the depths of her fading consciousness, she desperately clung to the hope that he would see through the lies, that his love for her would prevail over doubt.
On the brink of death, she yearned to trust in his endless devotion to her, to believe that he would never doubt the love they shared. It was a fragile hope, but in that moment, it was all she had to cling to as she slipped further into the darkness, awaiting the inevitable arrival of dawn and the fate it would eventually bring.
"Forgive me for not being strong enough, Baek," she whispered into the stillness of the chamber, her voice barely a breath against the heavy silence. "Please don't blame yourself for any of this."
As the darkness threatened to swallow her entirely, she couldn't help but reflect on the warnings of history, the cautionary tales of women who loved emperors, only to meet tragic ends. Once again, it seemed, she had fallen victim to the same fate.
Her vision blurred with crimson tears as memories flooded her mind—moments shared with Baekhyun before he departed for battle, blissfully unaware that they would be their last. Each memory stung with bittersweet intensity, a painful reminder of what could have been, had fate been kinder.
As her life ebbed away, flashes of cherished moments with him flickered through her mind like scattered stars in the night sky.
Wrapped in the warmth of silk sheets, doubts clouded her mind one morning, questioning her husband's resolve to remain faithful amidst the pressures of his position.
"Would you truly refuse to take any concubines, Baek?" she inquired, her voice laced with uncertainty. "You're aware that the ministers and officials desire it, and perhaps even the citizens of our nation. For all we know, the people might have grown weary of this same dull empress who has yet to bear you an heir."
He drew her close, pulling the silk sheets higher to shield her bare form from the chill seeping through the open windows. Pressing a tender kiss upon her head, he smiled reassuringly. "Never, my love. I do not care for their political machinations. I won't forsake my vow to you. You will remain my only wife, that is final. I did not ask to be emperor, the role was thrust upon me. Now that I am here, they should at least be grateful I am fulfilling my general duties."
She chuckled, nestling into the crook of his neck as he added, "Besides, if the ministers and officials are so displeased, they could just dismiss me. That would be even better; we could live in a quiet little village, just as we've always dreamed."
In another memory, standing before her reflection, plagued by insecurities instilled by the scheming ministers, his unwavering admiration melted her fears away.
"You look beautiful, my empress. You always do," he reassured, approaching from behind to envelop her in his arms.
"Not as beautiful as those young maidens, I fear. I am old," she confessed, feeling a twinge of self-consciousness after witnessing the ministers' attempts to seduce the emperor with their daughters.
Baekhyun gently turned her to face him. "If you're old, then I must be ancient," he teased. "I believe it's only fitting that I am with someone my age, and that's you, my empress. I have no interest in marrying children or anyone else for that matter; I am a taken man. Don't you dare compare yourself to anyone else again, you hear me? You're the most beautiful woman in my eyes, and that's all that matters."
In the final embrace before he departed for war, hearts heavy with the uncertainty of his return, they clung to each other.
"I will be back before you know it, my love. You'll wait for me, won't you?" her husband murmured against her neck, his arms tightening around her.
"Where else would I go, you idiot? Of course, I'll be waiting right here," she retorted, tightening her hold around his shoulders.
Amidst tears and laughter, he leaned in to kiss her deeply, pressing his lips against her soft ones over and over again to imprint the sensation into memory.
"I love you, my empress," Baekhyun whispered against her lips before pulling away, his eyes full of love and determination.
In the quiet of her chamber, she found solace in the fleeting recollections, clinging to them as the darkness threatened to consume her entirely. And as the crimson tears clouded her eyes once more, she resigned herself to the inevitable, silently bidding farewell to the life she once knew.
"I love you too, my emperor."
"I will not ask again, where is she?!" the emperor's voice thundered through the throne room as he stormed back into the palace, abandoning the battle upon learning the shocking revelation. According to the Minister of Rites in his letter, the empress had been discovered to be a demon all along, concealing her true nature under human skin to manipulate him and bend him to her will.
The eunuch panicked and fell to his knees. "Th-the empress is confined to her grand chambers, Your Imperial Majesty!"
Without uttering another word, Baekhyun stormed over immediately, his heart thumping loudly against his chest as fury overtook his being. Betrayal flooded his veins; he was seething with anger.
"You will regret lying to me," he growled under his breath, his vision zeroing in on the path towards her chambers, the place he frequented more than his own. "You will regret deceiving me."
Upon reaching the entrance of her chambers, he turned to the eunuch. "Gather all the ministers and officials who played a part in discovering the empress as what they claimed her to be in the throne room. I wish to speak with them soon."
"Yes, Your Imperial Majesty," the eunuch hurriedly replied before darting off to carry out his orders. Baekhyun steadied his breaths, his hand resting on the door as he prepared to face her once more. Under his breath, he vowed, "I swear, you will all regret it. How dare you accuse my wife of being what you are—demons."
I'm here now, my love.
Stepping into the familiar room, the emperor's heart raced with anxiety as he mulled over a perfect apology. He needed to express his deep remorse for not being there when she needed him the most, for failing to shield her from the treachery of those vultures. Reflecting on his actions, he realised he should have never left her behind. In his rush to leave for war, he had neglected to arrange proper protection for her. In hindsight, he understood that he should have never left her side in the first place.
Determined to make amends, he vowed to do better. He resolved to never again allow those ministers or officials the opportunity to torment her in his absence again. From now on, he would be her shield, her staunch protector, and her unending support.
But it might be too late for any of that.
His steps faltered, his breath caught in his chest, and his heart skipped a beat as he beheld the sight before his eyes. The sword in his hands slipped, clanging loudly as it hit the ground, and he sank to his knees in disbelief at the last thing he expected to see.
His shock deepened as he took in his wife's unrecognisable appearance. Crawling towards her limp form on the ground, he pulled her into his arms, his voice trembling with anguish. The horror settled within him like a heavy weight as he tried to imagine what atrocities these monsters had dared inflict upon her while he was gone. His mind raced with images of torture and torment, each one more gruesome than the last.
"Oh god, what have they done to you?" he whispered, his heart fracturing into a million shards as he struggled to comprehend her pale skin, her white hair, and the blood-like tears staining her cheeks. With shaking hands, he gently cupped her cold cheek, his fingers tracing the contours of her face as if seeking reassurance that she was still there, still his beloved wife.
"Please wake up, my love. This isn't funny, stop scaring me," he pleaded, his voice thick with emotion. "You promised to wait for me. You promised..." His words trailed off into a broken sob as he refused to accept anything but the truth, shaking his head in denial even as he searched desperately for a pulse, even when she remained unresponsive.
"No, no, no... this can't be real. It can't be," he murmured, his mind reeling with the unimaginable horror of what he had found.
Despair and regret enveloped him as he sobbed painfully, holding her lifeless body tightly against his chest. The realisation that she was truly gone, that her final moments were spent alone in the very room she despised just to be with him, weighed heavily on his heart. He grappled with the bitter truth that he had failed her, just as she had feared when she hesitated to be with him.
Gradually, his sorrow gave way to seething rage as he recalled the faces of the ministers and officials responsible for this atrocity. They had callously taken her life, foolishly believing he would be deceived by their feeble attempt to frame her. With trembling hands, he picked up a shard of the shattered bowl nearby and brought it to his nose, recognising the metallic scent of mercury.
Suddenly, everything clicked into place.
They had poisoned her with lethal doses of mercury, causing a myriad of symptoms—tremors, headaches, muscle weakness, kidney damage, and breathing difficulties. And the deliberate administration of such high doses to turn her hair white revealed their sinister intent from the outset.
Just how much had they fed her? It was evident they had intended to kill her from the start. Anguish and fury surged within him as he vowed to make them pay.
Gently caressing her cold cheek, he leaned in to kiss her unmoving lips, his own trembling against hers. He blamed himself for everything that had transpired. Perhaps if she hadn't been with him, she would have lived a better life—a normal life with a normal man. She wouldn't have to endure such a painful and cruel death.
It was all because of him.
Regret hung heavy in his heart, but dwelling on what could have been served no purpose.
"I'm so sorry, my wife," he whispered, his voice thick with grief. "Just hold on a bit longer, alright? I'll join you soon, but first, I'll make those bastards pay. Wait for me—I won't let you face this alone. Not again."
With resolve hardening in his heart, he retrieved his sword and sheathed it once more before lifting her lifeless form into his arms. Like a man burdened by death itself, he trudged towards the throne room where justice awaited. Kicking the doors open with a forceful thrust of his leg, he was met with a sea of horrified expressions from the ministers and officials. Clearly, they hadn't anticipated the emperor's dramatic entrance, cradling his beloved empress in his arms.
Ignoring their shocked gazes, he strode past them, his eyes fixed on the throne at the far end of the room. With careful tenderness, he laid his wife down upon the ornate seat, arranging her robes and ensuring her comfort as though she were merely sleeping. Pressing a solemn kiss upon her cold forehead, he turned to face the assembled council, their unease palpable in the air.
The guilty culprits remained frozen in their places, uncertain of what awaited them.
As the emperor's gaze swept over them, the ministers and officials for the first time felt a cold shiver of fear trickle down their spines. His expression was unreadable, his appearance wild and dishevelled compared to his usual polished demeanour. Specks of blood and dirt stained his robes and skin, his hair a tangled mess, half tied up in a disarray that mirrored the chaos within him.
Gone was the warm smile that often graced his features; instead, a slow, unsettling grin crept across his face.
"My dearest ministers and officials," he began, his voice low and laced with an eerie calmness. "Your message has been received loud and clear. I hope you're satisfied now that you've succeeded in eradicating the empress, as you so desperately desired. I've given it some thought, and perhaps... you were all right."
The Minister of Rites, attempting to feign nonchalance, cleared his throat. "A-about what, Your Imperial Majesty?" he stammered.
Baekhyun's eyes gleamed with a frightening intensity as he smirked, his demeanour bordering on madness. "About what this nation truly needs," he replied, his voice carrying a chilling edge.
"Not a good emperor, but a mad one."
Without giving the men before him time to register his words, all Baekhyun saw was red. In a split second, he unsheathed his sword and transformed into a bloodthirsty animal, cutting down anyone and everyone in his path. The Minister of Rites tried to flee but to no avail. He watched in complete horror as his colleagues dropped dead one by one, their blood splattering over the grand walls of the throne room, their screams echoing.
The emperor went on a rampage, leaving no man behind. The Minister of Rites, who had been behind the idea of poisoning the empress, smearing her name by labelling her a demon, and executing her, was now filled with regret. They had turned him into the mad king his empress had feared. Perhaps they had finally achieved their goal, but it wasn't what they were prepared for.
The minister collapsed to his knees before the emperor, realising that His Imperial Majesty had saved him for last. Trembling, he rubbed his hands together in a desperate plea. "P-please, everything I've done, it's for the betterment of our nation."
Baekhyun's humourless laughter echoed through the hall, sending shivers down the minister's spine. "You truly believe that, don't you? Of course, that includes subjecting my wife to all that torment. Yes, because that is exactly what the nation needs. Unfortunately for you, I am the emperor, and I determine what's best for the nation. And in this case, I think it's better off without traitors like you. See you on the other side," were the last words the minister heard before his head was severed from his neck, rolling off to join the others on the floor.
The emperor finally turned back, his eyes softening as they landed on his beloved's lifeless body. Making his way back towards her, he knelt down beside her, tears streaming down his face as he reached for her hand. Holding it to his cheek, he missed the warmth it once had.
"I'm coming now, my love," he whispered brokenly. "I'm sorry you had to wait for so long. I'll be there with you soon."
"Yes, I understand His Imperial Majesty's orders not to enter, but it's been hours. Surely, any assembly would have concluded by now, wouldn't it?" With apprehension and curiosity, a senior court lady pushed open the doors to the once-bustling throne room, expecting to find His Imperial Majesty and his council of ministers. Instead, she was met with a horrifying sight—a scene of bloodshed and chaos spread across the grand hall.
Her piercing scream echoed through the silent room, jolting nearby palace staff into action. Rushing to the scene, they were met with a scene that chilled them to the bone. At the end of the room, amidst a sea of lifeless bodies, lay the empress on the throne, her appearance shocking all who beheld it. Beside her, her husband remained, his head cradled on her chest, their hands tightly clasped together. A gaping stab wound marred his chest—it seemed he had taken his own life before joining her in death.
Following that, the next prince in line promptly ascended the throne and found himself compelled to appoint an entirely new cabinet of ministers and officials. The entire nation descended into chaos, particularly since it was still embroiled in a war, with endless theories circulating about the events. While some speculated that the emperor succumbed to madness and killed his own council, others whispered of a conspiracy, suggesting that the ministers had orchestrated the demise of both the empress and the emperor.
Amidst this uncertainty, the new prince faced the daunting challenge of restoring order to the kingdom. With a heavy heart, he pledged to uncover the truth behind the tragic occurrences and ensure that justice was served to those responsible.
In the end, the truth of what truly occurred remained shrouded in mystery. All those involved had departed from the realm of the living. As centuries passed, that chapter in history became known as the Scarlet Requiem, a haunting tale that lingered in the collective memory of the kingdom. Despite countless efforts to unravel the enigma, the events surrounding the tragedy remained obscured by the sands of time, leaving future generations to ponder and speculate about the dark secrets of the past.
"What do you think really happened?" a woman asked her boyfriend as they studied a painting depicting the throne room scene in a museum dedicated to the events of the Scarlet Requiem.
He pondered for a moment before responding with a shrug. "It's hard to say. But judging by the way he's holding onto her, it seems he must have truly loved her. Let's hope they've found peace and happiness, whether in the afterlife or their next life."
She nodded in agreement, leaning into his comforting embrace. "Yeah, I hope so too."
He flashed a mischievous grin. "I'm just saying, if I were him, I wouldn't have left her for war in the first place."
She rolled her eyes and gave him a playful smack, though a smile danced on her lips. "I'm sure you wouldn't. I bet it's because the empress was described as beautiful as a celestial being."
He scoffed. "Doesn't matter to me how pretty she was. I'll stay only if you're my empress."
Unbeknownst to them, the couple had been contemplating their own past lives. Perhaps the emperor and empress had indeed found each other again in another existence.

It’s a while before Scar reappears on Hermitcraft, after his victory.
When he does, Pearl is doing one last sweep over the server. Things are starting to slow down a little as the server is shut down, colours muting and mobs stumbling to a stop, but it’s nothing half so violent as it was last time.
Xisuma has backups of backups of backups, and Pearl has been repeatedly assured that last time was the exception, not the rule.
Still. She checks things over.
She is flying over Scarland when she sees Scar, sitting there at the end of Main Street and staring pensively out across the server.
She hasn’t seen him since he killed her, almost a week ago.
She flies down and alights softly beside him. “Hey Scar,” she says.
His eyes flicker to meet hers. He gives her his signature half-smile. It looks a little strained. “Well hello there, Pearl!” he says. “You know, I forgot about this place!”
Pearl looks at him for a moment, and heaves a sigh. So, they’re talking about this, are they? She sits down on the bench beside him.
To be fair, she isn’t sure who else he would talk to about it. If not her, it would probably be Grian. Grian, who just this morning had snapped at her to make sure she didn’t miss out Scarland in her final loop, in that way he had of transforming a remarkable amount of the worry he felt into irritation as soon as it left his mouth.
“Yeah,” says Pearl. “Me too. Nice to be back, right?”
“It’s ending,” says Scar, and Pearl winces. He isn’t wrong. The timing on this isn’t brilliant, but they couldn’t really wait much longer. “Why do things keep ending?”
“What, just sort of things in general?”
“Everything always ends,” says Scar, staring at her intently. “It ends and ends and ends. How in the world do you not go mad with it?”
Pearl chuckles ruefully. “You're asking the wrong person, mate.”
A villain, but not a demon. Forced into wickedness, but not made with it inside him.
No. No, he wouldn't understand. Not really.
“I don’t think it’s the going mad that’s the problem, really,” she says. “I think it’s the keeping going afterwards.”
“Oh.” He sighs. Then he narrows his eyes in suspicion, glancing up at the sky. “What about the moon, Pearl?” he asks. “How’s that been looking? If that’s gone all funny again as well, I don't know what I’ll do.”
Pearl looks up at the sky.
She looks up at the sky for a while.
It’s been more than a year, now.
“I reckon the moon’s still worn out after last time, mate,” says Pearlescentmoon, still staring at the sky. It’s the easiest place to look, at the moment. “You can’t do that kind of ending twice, you know? It would be too much to do it twice.”
The sun is bright, but she feels a chill, deep in her bones.
“Well,” says Scar. “Well! That’s good to know. But still, it’s very nice of you all to wait for me for so long.”
Pearl shrugs. “I mean, we didn’t really wait. It’s only been a week.”
Scar blinks. Blinks again. “Huh,” he says. “A week. Interesting!”
“Interesting?” Pearl squints at him. “How so?”
He stares at her for a moment before he speaks again. “I thought that was it,” he says. His eyes look far away. “I thought that was all there was, Pearl. I thought there was nothing, after.”
Pearl opens her mouth, but he keeps going.
“I thought that was all there was,” he says again. “So I wasn’t going to just give up. You know? That would be absurd! I was going to keep going. I did keep going!”
“You did,” says Pearl. It’s halfway to a question, but not quite there.
She doesn’t know if she would have kept going, if she had been given the choice, and not handed victory and death in one fell swoop. That’s one of the few things about her victory that she hasn’t wondered about much. She hadn’t even considered it before, to be honest.
She thinks, probably, that she would have kept going.
She’s less sure that it would have been pretty.
“I did,” says Scar. “You have to, don’t you?”
Pearl thinks of Grian. “I don’t know,” she says. “I think it’s a choice, sometimes. I think that makes it mean more, actually.”
“Well. Maybe,” says Scar. “It just- I couldn’t waste it, you know? It was a whole world.”
The weight of that settles over her. A whole world.
A whole world, and refusing to give it up, until you are made to.
“How did you die?” asks Pearl. “In the end.”
“My elytra broke,” says Scar.
“…Huh.” says Pearl, taking a moment to consider the implications of that statement.
“I was trying to get more shulker boxes,” says Scar. “Do you know how annoying it is trying to get stuff done without shulkers, Pearl?”
“Yeah,” says Pearl. “I have an idea.”
“Well,” says Scar, “I was trying to get more but my elytra broke. Did you know, the void kills you no matter how many hearts you have.”
“Oh,” says Pearl. “Yeah, I guess it would. You see Lizzie down there?”
Scar snorts. “No. Everyone falls alone, Pearl, don’t you know that? Martyn, and Lizzie. And me too.”
Pearl looks around at the world, slowing down around them. “Well,” she says matter-of-factly. “You’re not falling now. You’re here now.”
“…Yeah,” says Scar softly. “Would you look at that? I sure am.”
They sit in the quiet for a while.
“Why would you not kill me?” asks Pearl abruptly.
Now is not the time to ask. She knows this. But it’s been burning at the back of her mind for the past week, and there will never be a time to ask.
Scar blinks at her for a moment, but recovers without missing a beat. “But Pearl!” he says, all wide-eyed innocence. “I did kill you!”
She gives him a look. “When I asked, Scar.”
“I-” he stops, and sighs, serious again. “Look. I know that was what you wanted. But- it wouldn’t have been fair.”
“Why?” asks Pearl.
“It wouldn’t have been fair,” says Scar again. “You can’t talk about it, first. You can’t volunteer, you can’t plan it out, you can’t draw a line in the sand. It ruins everything, if you do that.”
He looks at her, eyes intense.
“If you do that, that makes it a choice, not a reaction. That's what it is, I think. That must be what it is. You said it yourself—if it’s a choice, it means more.”
“That was my choice, Scar.”
He shrugs, unrepentant. “And I made mine, too.” He frowns for a second. “Think of it like this: I was fighting Gem. And when she died, I just kept fighting.” He shifts slightly, looking almost uncomfortable. “It doesn’t have the weight it would’ve had if we stopped and decided to make it matter more.”
“You’re saying it doesn’t matter?” asks Pearl flatly.
“No!” exclaims Scar. “No, that’s not what I was trying to say at all! But- I wasn’t given your life. I didn’t just accept it. I fought for it. And you didn’t have to give it away. It’s worth more than that, Pearl. Someone should have to fight for it.”
The look he gives her then… she has to look away.
“That’s what I think,” says Scar firmly. “That’s what I wanted to say.”
Pearl stares down at her hands for a while. “I don’t know if I totally agree with how you chose to do things,” she says. “But… thank you, Scar.”
They are, again, quiet for a while.
“What do you think I did, while I was still there?” asks Scar eventually. “You know, if someone was making you guess.”
Pearl leans back and looks at him intently, considering. “I reckon you caused chaos, and made something beautiful.” She shrugs. “That’s what you always do, yeah?”
“Oh,” says Scar, looking genuinely touched. “Why thank you, Pearl. I certainly try.”
“You sure do. You know, whatever else you do, I have to give you that,” says Pearl wryly.
Scar looks at her for a moment, then tilts his head slightly to the side. “You know, Pearl,” he says, serious, then pauses.
“Yeah?”
“I left a whole pile of shulker boxes in the Mounders’ base.” His voice stays serious even as his typical sly smirk creeps across his face.
Pearl takes a few seconds to register what he’s just said. “I- you- Scar!”
“Completely unsorted,” he says airily. “It was just a real mess, honestly.”
“Why would you tell me that!”
He snickers at her. “I can’t believe you would leave such a mess, Pearl! I mean, who else could it have been? It’s in your base, after all!”
“You should be ashamed of yourself!” Pearl narrows her eyes at him, laughter bleeding though the mock-annoyance in her voice.
He shakes his head. “And you call yourself a cleaning lady!”
“Right, that’s it!” says Pearl. “I’m finding this server and tidying it up whether you like it or not.”
Scar jerks back slightly, humor suddenly shaken.
…Right. She’d almost forgotten.
He looks away. His expression, though, is thoughtful rather than pained.
“I don’t think you need to do that, really,” he says.
Pearl watches him. “Why not?” she asks. “Are you the only one who’s allowed to keep trying?”
He sighs.
“There’s always going to be some things you can’t clean up,” he says. “But you can’t always be going backwards to get them.”
They look out at the world around them gently, carefully slowing down to a stop.
“Yeah. Yeah, you’re not wrong,” says Pearl. “I guess it’s a balance. What you can fix, and what you need to let go.”
Scar nods. “I think so.”
He gives her a warm look. He looks up at the sky, where the normal sized moon is just beginning to rise. He glances around him at the remarkable things he has made, that this time will be left just as they are.
“And there’s always a new sunrise,” he says.

Corruption fic - First Preview
It’s me, ya girl, comin’ at ya with a little preview! No active warnings for this one ☺️
"That's it, I'm cuttin' you off for tonight," Husk said sternly, whisking away your unfinished glass of whiskey. You'd been at the bar for only an hour and you've already downed 5 full glasses.
"Noooo, Husk c'mon...I'm fffffiiiinnee," you babbled, trying to push your head from the countertop unsuccessfully.
It's been a few months since you arrived in Hell after an unfortunate accident that ended in your early demise. But being a devout believer, you were so sure that Heaven would be your final destination. How wrong you were. You woke up in the fiery pit confused and scared, your body had transformed into that of a demon; you had become something you had feared for your entire life. When you first heard about the Hazbin Hotel, you nearly jumped at the opportunity for redemption. If there was even the slightest hope of getting out of here, you were going to take it. But your situation was more than troublesome, considering how you led your life up on Earth. So most nights, you could easily be found sitting on a bar stool, trying desperately to drown your sorrows and distract yourself from the reality you'd found yourself in.
What's worse...not everyone here is evil. It was ingrained into you that everyone down here in Hell deserved to be, they had earned this punishment. But getting to know some of the other residents at the hotel, that couldn't have been further from the truth! Was everything you were taught just complete lie?! For Heaven's sake, Charlie, the literal princess of Hell, was the sweetest and kindest being you've ever had the pleasure of meeting! And Vaggie, a former angel, so devout to Charlie and her dream, you've never seen two people more in love. Angel, although a bit eccentric and over the top, cared deeply for his friends and was ready to fight for them at a moment's notice. It was all...not what you expected, and you had a very difficult time coping with everything that you had been thrust into.
"You're shit faced," Husk snapped back. "Look, I know you're havin' a hard time with all this. But drinking away your issues ain't gonna solve any of 'em. You need to sleep this off." He watched you stumble off the bar stool, your one foot catching the other, resulting in a rather pitiful fall onto the carpet. But you couldn't feel anything, the alcohol helped mask the pain you were sure to feel tomorrow. You couldn't help but giggle at your own clumsiness. "Oh, for fuck's sake..." Husk grumbled.
Before you could even attempt to pull yourself off the ground, you saw a pair of black boots approaching you in a rather hurried manner.
"Woah!" the voice exclaimed, "Are you alright? Here, let me help you!" In no time, your limp body went from lying on the lobby floor to being hoisted up and helped back onto the bar stool you fell from. You turned your head to see Lucifer's concerned face staring back at you. "Husk, what happened?"
"She's drunk," the cat demon explained, "I told her she was done drinkin' for the night and she ate shit trying to stand up. I was about to help her back to her room-"
All of a sudden, a shadowy presence started to form behind the bar. A static filled laugh was heard before Alastor had popped up, startling the bar tender. "Husker, my good man!," the radio demon bellowed, "it seems as though I am in need of your assistance."
"Fuck! Why can't you just walk in here like a normal fucking person?" Husk grumbled.
Alastor only responded with a light chuckle before fixing his attention on you. "My, my, what have we here?" Alastor taunted. You could have sworn you heard a low growl coming from Lucifer beside you. "I say, my dear, I've never seen you look worse than you do now. What a pity, all of those teachings really didn't help you in the long run, now did they?"
You felt tears threatening to fall from your eyes at Alastor's cruel words. If you were sober, you would have run the other direction as fast as you could. Alastor had been the other real soul you met who you knew with every fiber of your being belonged in this pit. But considering you had no inhibitions and clearly no chance of getting away, you picked your head up and slammed your fists on the table in righteous anger.
"Ohhh, eat shit youuuu *hic* smiling prick!" You tried to stand up once more, only for your legs to buckle underneath you. Luckily, Lucifer had caught you before your face had met with the carpet again. "I-I don't deserve this! 'Least I'm TRYING to redeem m'self!"
Alastor's malicious grin never faltered. "Oh, and what a fabulous job you're doing! I do wonder how a woman such as yourself has fallen so far from grace."
"Fuck off, radio freak," Lucifer snarled, barring his teeth and his eyes shifting to a deep crimson red and yellow.
“Oh, ho ho! Seems as though I’ve struck a nerve,” Alastor mocked. He made his way around the bar, now towering over you and the fallen angel. “Tell me, your highness, what is your fascination with this lost soul, hmm? I’m so utterly curious as to why you would give her the time of day when all she does is wallow in her self pity and-”
“I. SAID. FUCK. OFF.” the king spat, his eyes now changing into a solid red and his voice deepening to match his threat. Though your vision was hazy, you noticed his horns had bursted out from his temples. Whether it was the alcohol or something else entirely, your face suddenly felt very, very hot. “Don’t make me repeat myself again.”
Despite the immense danger, Alastor could only muster a sly grin. “It’s very rude to ignore my question.”
“I don’t have to do anything for you! Or have you forgotten who you’re talking to?” The way Lucifer spoke sent a shiver down your spine. “The only reason that you’re not a mangled corpse on the ground right now is because of my daughter. So if you want to stay in one piece, I’d walk away right now if I were you…”
The two mens’ faces were just inches away from each other now. Alastor’s eye twitched as he glared back at Lucifer with pure distain. His eyes shifted to you only for a brief moment before standing up straight and smirking to himself.
“I suppose it really is no business of mine as to how you choose to mingle with the guests here,” the radio demon resolved. He turned around to walk away, but not before glancing at you once more over his shoulder. “They’re lost causes anyway. Come along, Husker!”
Lucifer’s demonic traits disappeared as Alastor finally left the parlor. “I hate that man.” He looked at Husk empathetically. “If I could break your arrangement with him, I would. I’m sorry. But don’t worry, I’ll take care of her.” With that, Husk nodded and followed the radio demon down the hall, leaving you and Lucifer alone at the now empty bar.

Netflix Monkey King? I want to try. Of course when u get done with other requests😃
I would like to request a Monkey King x female celestial reader headcanons that contains fluff, slight angst and romance. Reader can be shy or any personality u want. If u do shy, they comfort Monkey King saying he doesnt need to be powerful or a god to fit in(trying to remember the plot from memory).
But I hope u do stay safe😊
Celestial Chaos (Netflix!Wukong X Fem!Celestial!Reader)
You hated the monkey that disrupted the celestial realm
Since its birth, the stone monkey had gained a name for itself, challenging gods, defying the heavens and terrifying spirits
The thing was clearly a force of chaos, a force of evil that refused to relent its tyraid
Despite it all, you couldn't help but feel pity for the poor Monkey King, the Sage that tried to fit in with heaven
It was clear his pride was merely protecting him, sending him whispers that he was enough, because he made himself be enough
The demons that fell to him proved his worth, but you knew the celestial realm wouldn't allow anyone of his nature in
Heaven only allowed obedience and order, traits the foolish sage could never have in his state
You weren't too different from him, if you could rationalize it too much
Your shy nature made you invisible, overlooked, excluded
People thought you were either uninteresting or too pompous to converse to the other gods
You never believed their words, but they still stung
You could only imagine how the sage felt when he fought his way to heaven only to be met with scorn
You did your best to soften the blows, acting in solidarity of someone who knew how the generals and gods could be
The foolish monkey became smitten, looking up to you like heaven didn't matter
In the back of your brain, you could say the same
A foolish monkey in your eyes transformed into an honest, proud man who was in over his head
His quest for power was a call for help, a plea that someone would accept him
You were briefly aware of the little mortal that followed him, ill intentions in the way she held herself, yet guilt consuming her
You could only hope that she would help the monkey
In the end, she revealed her true color, bound by a deal meant to bring the king to his knees
the foolish dragon didn't know the price he would pay, and neither did Wukong
With Wukong's revolt, you watched in horror, pleading to him, begging him to stop and calm himself
Yet, he was overcome with power, and the heavens did the only thing they could do: summon Buddha
In the end, Wukong was sealed, but a hidden blessing had been given to you: you were tasked with feeding him and ensuring he survived--something no other celestial wanted to do
You gave him snacks, peaches and all sorts of food that you could find, knowing the celestials wouldn't watch you--a lucky trait of being a doormat is that no one knows your small acts of defiance
As centuries passed by, the king had been freed, tasked with a journey
You had a recent mission to grant blessings to nearby village plagued by drought, and on your way there, you were met with a pair of arms hugging your from behind
There you saw him, your Wukong, the Sage Greater Than Heaven, freed at last

Can we have Andrew and Reader transforming into half demon?
You can do it with Ashley together with Reader (separately) if you want.
Reader would have been with the Graves family since episode 1, as she was an exchange student but ended up being abandoned along with her Graves siblings.
She would be a cold, relaxed, indifferent person, a little sociopathic, a little temperamental but kind when they meet.
Reader would have been injured in the Hitman confrontation when she went to save Andrew (let's be honest, this kid would never be able to shoot the Hitman the first time with him being all nervous).
So to treat her injuries correctly they decided to use the demon to heal her, the demon doesn't like the idea of healing someone but he decides to heal her but still angry with this 'disrespect' the demon turns her into a half demon (similar to Jennifer Body the film).
That if she wants to stay alive she has to eat human flesh or drink blood.
If I had a nickel for every time I was requested to write a reader who’s an exchange student staying with the Graves Family- I’d have 4 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened 4 times already

Andrew Graves x Half Demon!Reader
Andrew’s head was pounding
His eyes were wide with terror as he stared down at you in his arms
The events kept playing in his head, over and over like a broken record
He had found the hitman in Ashley’s spontaneously stupid game of hide-and-seek
Although, what was she expecting?
It was an amateur with a gun against a skilled killer with a knife
Of course he wasn’t going to do well!
So, you did the only thing you could think of to save him
Save the boy who you’ve lived alongside since high school
Who’s been nothing but kind and patient to you..
Push him away as the hitman lunged
So, here you lay..
Barely breathing in his arms
While the hitman laid dead nearby
Andrew, in a blind rage finally fired the gun. Draining it dry of any bullets in there in hopes of killing him
And, he achieved his goal
The hitman was dead
And it didn’t look like long til you’d be you…
“Well- you’ve successfully wasted all of our ammo.” Ashley grumbled, picking up her discarded gun. She wiped off any grass blades or dirt that stuck to the pristine silver of it.
If Andrew wasn’t still in shock, he would yell at her. Yell at her for having the audacity to worry more about her gun’s ammo than their dead friend! Yell at her for foolishly trusting him to kill the hitman and then running off! If you hadn’t jumped in, he would be dead…
He should be dead.
Andrew furrowed his brow, tears forming much to his dismay. As he shut his eyes, they fell in twin streams. His hands shook, gripping on to your body as it slowly lost its warmth. He quietly sobbed, trying his best to not make them too loud or pathetic. If he had been better with the gun…if he didn’t hesitate…you would still be…
“Andy!” He felt something cold tap the back of his head, breaking him from his mellow dramatic moment. Ashley stared down at him with frustration, “Come on! Let’s ditch the bodies, someone was bound to hear your bitch crying by now..”
“Are you serious?!” Andrew stood up, still holding you in his arms. He thrusted his arms forward, pushing Ashley back with your dead weight, “Look at her! She’s dying!” He was emotional. Erratic. But he didn’t care.
“I can see that!” His sister pushed his arms back, and Andrew held you close to his chest, “Now put her down before anyone comes by!”
“…no.”
He wasn’t yelling anymore, just staring down at you. Ashley’s eyes widened, before her face became a scowl.
“No?”
“No!”
Ashley, pinched the bridge of her nose, “Okay- yeah- ssuuurreeee! Let’s just carry a dead body around! Want me to stick my hand up her ass and sit her on my lap like a puppet so you can pretend you’re talking with her?” She roughly poked Andrew’s forehead, “Are you out of your fucking mind?!”
“Well I’m not leaving her!” Andrew snapped back, making Ashley flinch ever so slightly. He didn’t seem to care though as he turned his attention back down to you.
Both were quiet for a while, probably longer than they should have because people would be coming by soon to see the commotion. Ashley could see the thoughts running behind her brother’s eyes, clearly thinking of something to fix this…to fix you.
She didn’t understand what the fuss was about though. You were just dead weight before, and now you are literally. Plus, she never liked the looks her brother gave you. You were better off dead in her eyes, and if anyone was going to kick the bucket, it would’ve been you…
But Andrew didn’t want to leave you behind. Sentimental bastard. What was he expecting? You to just- snap out of being dead? It wasn’t that easy!
….or….was it?
Ashley’s hand drifted over the front pocket of her shorts, the imprint of the demon trinket visible. Andrew saw her subconscious motions out of the corner of his eye and perked up. Where hope formed on his face, Ashley scowled.
“No!”
“Give it here!”
Andrew set your body down, lunging for his sister for the trinket. The pair fell to the ground, wrestling one another for the trinket.
“Let! Go!”
“No! It’s mine!”
In the end, Ashley didn’t win. Andrew, for as gangly as he is, was still stronger than her and managed to get the trinket away. He cupped it in his hands, standing up and observing it quizzically. There was an ominous aura to this dream catch esc thing, but he didn’t care.
“The demon..”
“Andrew, no!”
“Let’s take Y/N to the cultists lair—“
“Andrew!”
“Summon the demon—“
“You asshole- are you even listening?!”
“And get her back!”
Andrew grinned from ear to ear, his arms held out at the genius of his plan.
So- this is what it felt like to be Andrew, Ashley lamented. She got why he was such a stick in the mud all the time now.
Before she could object, Andrew was already picking up your body.
“Come on! Let’s go! Everyone should be gone by now!”
Despite Ashley’s insistence that it wouldn’t work and they should cut their losses, Andrew persisted
Eventually the two snuck you into the cultists’ meeting room
Shockingly, everything was still set up from when Andrew had previously visited.
It made for a quick and easy ritual
Ashley’s demon friend was less than happy to be bothered though….
“tAr SoUl….wHaT iS tHiS?”
The dark, red eyed blob stared angrily up at Ashley- who gestured to your dead corpse like a game show assistant would show off a car.
“A body?…”
“I rEqUiRe FrEsH sOuLs..” the demon skittered around the body, prodding it with its tendrils, “tHiS iS aLrEaDy DeAd!”
“I know but-“ Ashley groaned, pointing to Andrew with her thumb, “My dumbass brother draws the line at necrophilia and wants her back.”
“I’m sorry- WHAT?!”
Andrew objected, completely disregarding the fact that they were in the presence of a demon, “Do you REALLY think the only reason I want to bring her back is so I can have sex with her?!”
“Well?” Ashley looked at him blankly, “Isn’t it?”
“…..” Andrew adverted his eyes to the ground, “It’s…partly true…”
“I fucking knew it.” Ashley sighed, completely exasperated by her brother’s idiocy, “I can’t believe you’re using MY demon connections so you can get your dick wet without feeling like a bad person! News flash Annnddyyyyy~” she gave him that shit eating grin she knew he despised, “You’ve done much worse.”
“Shut your whore mouth!”
“Make me pussy!”
“EnOuGh!”
The siblings stopped their bickering, Andrew pausing as he had grabbed the collar of Ashley’s shirt. They stared at the demon, looking more like their parent just scolded them than a demon yelling at them to stop their bickering.
The demon floated very close to Andrew’s face, causing him to release his sister and step back, “yOu WiSh To UsE mY pOwErS tO rEvIvE tHe MoRtAl?”
Andrew nodded.
“tHeN wHaT iS iT yOu OfFeR?..”
Andrew’s face contorted as he tried to think, “Uhhhh…”
Ashley stood behind the demon, smugly smiling at her cornered brother, “Haha! Bet ya didn’t think this far, didya?”
“Shut up woman!—“
Andrew immediately regretted raising his voice, as the demon’s red eyes glowed menacingly- almost staring holes into his retinas. He gulped, wishing he could tell Ashley to call off her guard demon- but that would only make things worse for him. Here he was, with no souls to offer a demon- and the demon already didn’t like him for his foolish request and yelling at his ‘tar soul’.
“wElL?…” the demon broke the silence that wafted through the air.
Andrew’s eyes widened, “O-Okay! Ummm..” he searched his brain for anything, any idea on how to revive you when he blurted out the first thing he landed on, “Souls! I can get you two souls for bringing back Y/N’s!”
“aNd WhErE aRe ThEsE sOuLs?”
“Well, I don’t have them now-“ The demon growled and Andrew tensed, “But! But! I can get them to you very soon! Yeah! How’s that sound?”
The red eyed blob stared at Andrew for a few moments, clearly considering his deal before it turned around and made its way to your corpse, “VeRy WeLl…BuT yOuR fAiLuRe FoR pAyMeNt UpFrOnT wIlL cOmE wItH cOnSeQuEnCeS..”
With those words, the room went pitch black. By the time the fluorescent lights returned, the demon was gone. Andrew lunged for your body, kneeling down beside you.
“Y/N?…” he shook you a little, “Y/N?”
His face faltered for a moment, fear coursing through him before he felt your body move. Your breathing was slow…but you were breathing! He cupped your face in his hands, waiting anxiously for you to open your eyes.
And you did.
And then you spoke.
“..A-….Andrew?”
And like that- you were back!
Sore, with some blood gone
But back nonetheless!
You felt….strange though
Upon coming down from his high of overwhelming joy, Andrew noticed just how cold you were
You didn’t feel chilly at all
But you felt cold to the touch
Along with that, you couldn’t get the taste of blood out of your mouth
It was hard to decipher which was the result of having been a corpse for half an hour…
…or what was from being brought back by a demon
But, Andrew had a debt to pay
So that can be worked out later
Returning to the motel parking lot, the hitman’s car was still there
And no one was around yet
So you took that and set off
You slept most of the ride
It was a rough night of…ya know
Dying
So you deserved to sleep
Though your dreams were…strange
Images of red
Blood spewing as you bit into the neck of a screaming person
You didn’t get a good look at them until their body was a mangled mess of torn limbs with bits of flesh taken out of them
Your face stained with blood
The delicious sensation filling your mouth
At first you chalked this up to a guilt dream
You feeling bad for eating that cultist a while back
But…no
This wasn’t a guilt dream
You never feasted on that man like an animal
You never went back for seconds, depraved of the taste
And in those dreams you never felt what you were feeling in that moment
…desire for more
Your concerning dream was interrupted by a sudden sensation of pain as a projectile was thrown at your head.
“Ow!” You sat up, your hand shooting to the assaulted spot on your head, “What the?..”
“I told you to wake her!” Andrew hissed.
“I did!” Ashley objected, “My shoe woke her up!”
“You little..”
Andrew’s grumbling trailed off, turning to look at you from the driver’s seat. You gave him a reassuring nod to let him know you were okay. He sighed in slight relief. How that the- initial pain in your head was gone, you looked out the window to see just where you three were. The backseat passenger window showed you a parking with cars lining the spots as far as you could see.
“Where…are we?” You asked, turning back to look at the siblings, “And what are we doing here?”
“Cheapskate here says it’s free parking.” Ashley replied bluntly, not even giving Andrew’s annoyed look a glance.
You looked between them, “Don’t we- need to pay that demon back? How’s free parking going to get us two souls?”
“Go on Annnndddd—“ Ashley paused as Andrew gave her a look, “…drew. Andrew. Tell Y/N your brilliant plan!”
Andrew sighed, resting his hands on the wheel as he tried to explain the plan, “Alright, so…we need two souls for that demon. We- are also running low on money. So…we’re going to kill two birds with one stone.”
You nodded, though his and Ashley’s drastically different expressions told you there was more. So- you prodded.
“And those birds arreee?”
“…our parents.”
The rational thing was to claim that they couldn’t do such a thing! Their parents took you in after all!
…although you’d be lying
Mrs Graves really only agreed because she’d get a cut of the exchange student program funds
Other than provide you a roof, she ignored you like she did her other children
Same goes for her husband, who didn’t do much of anything beside give you awkward hellos before he went to work
So you weren’t really against robbing and killing them
The events played as normal, pretending the fire that “killed everyone” was sensational news coverage and you all were fine!
You’re “politely” told to go to bed early, bunking with Ashley in the basement while Andrew took the couch.
Though, being honest…
You didn’t trust yourself around Ashley alone
Ever since you’ve been alive you’d had this…animalistic urge to tear into someone like a carnivorous animal
To hold them to the ground and watch the light leave their fear filled eyes as you tore out their throat
And Ashley was defenseless
Sleeping just inches from you in the spare bed
Her gun was empty, you knew this
So she wouldn’t shoot you
So you did the both of you a favor, and got out of there
Your eyes lingered on the basement stairs, the bed and Ashley’s sleeping form still very in much in your view. You had to tear your eyes away to avoid running back down there and giving in to the voice in your head telling- no, demanding you devour her.
Your relationship with her was complicated enough, and you knew with enough convincing you would. She was always cold with you, trying to tear a wedge between you and Andrew as you both got closer. But she also was the closest thing you had to a sister or any actual familial connection. You don’t think you could bear that guilt.
You drew your eyes to the couch, Andrew fast asleep on it. You could trust yourself around him, you know you could. The voice had nothing against Andrew. So you crossed over to the couch, kneeling down beside it.
Andrew’s unconscious state was fragile, stirring almost immediately as he felt a presence join him. His eyes opened with some strain, his voice littered with tiredness.
“Y/N?…” he sat up, rubbing his eyes, “Did Ashley kick you out?..”
“No.” You responded. You debated telling him why you were here if Ashley hadn’t kicked you out, but what could you tell him? ‘Hey I wanted to eat your sister’? You couldn’t do that. So instead you asked, “Can I sleep with you tonight?”
A small blush painted Andrew’s cheeks, as he nodded slightly. He pulled the covers aside, scooting closer to the back of the couch so you’d have room. You climbed onto the couch with him, your arms wrapping around his torso. You felt him shiver from the closeness, almost forgetting how cold you were. You didn’t care though. You craved the closeness more than you craved tearing into Andrew’s flesh and eating his heart in front of him.
You furrowed your brow, pushing those thoughts down as Andrew slowly covered you two up.
“You…alright?” Andrew tentatively asked. Obviously you weren’t alright, by this time last night you were dead.
You racked your mind about what to say, nuzzling into his sweater for comfort as you spoke, “I’m- fine….just ever since I….”
“Died?”
“Yeah, that….I’ve had….urges.”
“Like- what?”
“…like devouring someone like an animal.”
He went quiet after that. You can’t exactly say what you expected reaction wise. Disgust? Fear? Silence felt appropriate to be fair. You weren’t anticipating his next words when he processed the information…
“…three birds with one stone then.”
The plan went as the siblings had- semi planned.
Scaring the parents with an unloaded gun into the basement
Removing the limit from Mrs Graves credit card so they’d have some cash
Handing their souls to the demon
And Andrew leaving you to enjoy your meal
You felt like an animal. A hungry, ravenous animal.
Your breath was shaky, eyes wide with horror at what you’d done. You and the basement were bloodied mess, and your host parents were mangled beyond recognition.
It didn’t help that you were on your hands and knees, chin drenched with blood as what you had done replayed in your mind. The sounds of the basement stairs creaking broke you out of your trance. You cowered momentarily before realizing it was Andrew.
“Wow- you..” he paused, covering his mouth as he gagged from the smell of blood, “Really did a number on them..”
Hot tears welled in your eyes as you stared up at him. You trembled, falling further to the ground than you already were. Your forehead met the basement floor as you sobbed.
“I’m sorry!” You wailed, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry—“
It was all you could say. What else could you? You shook and sobbed like the wounded animal you were as Andrew slowly approached you. He fell to his knees in front of you, and pulled you into a hug. His parents’ blood stained his sweater, but he didn’t care. He’ll wash it later.
You trembled in his arms as he rubbed gentle circles into your back, soft shushes filling your ears as he comforted you. You buried your face into his shoulder, shaking and crying from what you’d done. This was different than when you ate the cultist back at the apartment, then you didn’t feel so….dehumanized.
He was prepared like a dish. Not bitten into like a wolf delivering the killing blow to a deer. He was eaten for survival. They were eaten to satiate this desire you had.
Though to Andrew, this downside was worth it, so long as he could hold you again.

Would you be open to doing a Dad!Husk with daughter reader but nobody knows (except Alastor ofc) until she gets drunk with Angel after seeing a similar scene from episode 5 with Husk and Alastor and starts crying because she’s afraid of losing her dad, and everyone puts the pieces together when Husk starts comforting her? Sorry that it’s super specific 😅
First off, oh my gosh, thank you for your request!!!
It’s all good! I love this prompt! I know that you said reader ends up getting drunk but the story took a bit of a different turn and you just end up going to the bar sober.
I hope that I still did this fic justice though! 🖤
rating: PG
genre: angst and fluff
characters: Dad!Husk x Reader
warnings: abuse, soul owning, panic attack from reader
You knew that being in Hell came with a price. Your dad had tried to shield you from the more… fucked up parts of Hell. But he couldn’t save you from everything, which is why when you were younger he made you promise to never tell anyone you were his daughter. So, you were a kid he found and was taking care of, his assistant, apprentice, a bar back when he was bartending. Which was how you ended up at the hotel.
You knew that your father’s soul was owned by Alastor, who had been nothing but pleasant to you, but there was still a bitterness in your mouth when you looked at him or talked to him. It was at the point where you could forget the fact that Alastor owned Husk’s soul. There were times you were reminded though and reality crashed upon you rudely. Like when both you and Husk were summoned to the hotel to help, and you became a trusty bar back and bartender in training, keeping the secret of Husk’s relationship to you.
This night though, your dad had gone off to find Alastor and Angel had been at the bar asking about different drinks. You couldn’t remember what actually went into Angel’s drink and neither did he saying, “It’s something Husk makes… special. Ya know?”
You sighed and just explained you’d go find Husk and get the ingredients, muttering about getting a recipe book for the bar. You were walking the halls when the lights started flickering. You ran to the hall where it was the worse, seeing Alastor conjure the chain that wrapped around your dad’s neck. Watching as the Radio Demon transformed into his demonic figure and your dad crouched on the ground.
“If this happens again, I’ll make sure you and every other disrespectful wretch knows exactly who they are messing with. Understood?” Alastor says, his voice low.
“Understood.” Husk said as Alastor went back to his normal self.
“Good man.” Alastor whistled as he walked away and you stood there around the corner clutching your chest. Your breathing too quick and tears in your eyes.
‘He wouldn’t actually kill dad, would he?’ you thought to yourself, the reality of Alastor owning Husk’s soul crashing down upon you. You quickly leave the hallway, not wanting your dad to see that you had been there, as you got back to the bar. Still trying to calm your breathing, Angel’s words asking if you got the recipe sounded like they were underwater. You nodded your head to whatever he said, and tried to start making his drink with whatever you thought went into it. Thinking you were doing a pretty good job at not showing how close you were to breaking. Until Angel came behind the bar, grabbing your shoulder and spinning you around to face him. His eyes widened.
“What’s wrong toots?” He asked, his hands gliding over your arms comfortingly and giving you a once over to make sure you weren’t hurt.
“I-I-He-And I-“ And sobs just crashed against your lips as you fell against Angel. Angel freezes in shock, and holds you, trying to calm you down. Charlie and Vaggie hear and come over seeing you a wreck. Your sobs not quieting and now all three are consoling you and attempting to get you to calm down enough to actually understand what’s wrong.
Husk finally comes down stairs, sighing and sees a crowd around the bar, normally crowds and bars are synonymous but not at this hotel. He walks over, his ears picking up your cries, automatically going into protection mode. He brushes through everyone and sees Angel consoling you.
“What’s going on?” He asks and before Angel can answer, you launch yourself at Husk. Still crying, but settling down as you feel him in your arms. Your hand going to his wrist where you could feel his heartbeat and feeling that calms you down further.
“What happened?” He murmurs to you, his arms and wings wrapped around you.
“Angel’s drink-And I didn’t know th’ ingredien’s-Went to find you. And saw you and-and-Al…” You trailed off and buried yourself in Husk’s chest.
“Oh sweetheart.” He murmured. His head dropping to rest on top of yours. “I’m so sorry.”
Angel, Charlie, and Vaggie all look at each other.
“So, that’s not just some bar back, bartender in training you got off the street?” Vaggie asks.
“Yeah, you’s both seem a little familiar with each other.” Angel adds. Husk sighs.
“‘m sorry.” You say lifting yourself off Husk.
“You don’t have anything ta be sorry for. I should be the one apologizin’.” Husk says, his hand on your cheek.
“Not at all.” You shake your head at him.
“Oh shit.” Angel says now looking at you both. “Is that your daughter Husk?” You look wide eyed at Angel and then your dad.
“Yes, Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, meet my daughter, Y/N.” Husk says, gesturing to you.
“Hi!” You say waving, looking a bit sheepish. “I’m so sorry we didn’t say anything before. It was just safer this way because-“ Husk interrupts you.
“I’m sure they understand, sweetheart.” Husk looks at all of them and all nod. “And I’m sure this isn’t information that will be getting out either.” Husk looks at all of them again. Again everyone nods.
“On my word, this will stay between us.” Charlie promises.
“Not a word.” Vaggie says. Angel just makes the motion of his lips being zipped and throwing away the key.
“Now, who was wanting a drink?” Husk says, stepping behind the bar.
“Oh, that was me!” Angel pipes up and sits down.
“O’ course it was.” Husk mutters as he starts making the drink and Charlie steps forward more.
“Can we ask questions? I have so many.” She says, looking at Husk then you. You look back at your dad and he motions you forward. You smile and sit next to Angel as Charlie and Vaggie sit down too.
“What do you want to know?” you ask.
The rest of the night was spent around the bar as Charlie, Vaggie and Angel got to know you outside of what you had just been telling them and you had fun poking fun at your dad at times, recounting times like how he taught you to count with poker chips. The laughter bled into the night and marked one of the happier nights that you could remember and for the first time, you were happy to be at the Hazbin Hotel.

A frightened scream rang out from Steven, Connie, Dipper, and Mabel alike as they stood in the towering shadow of the centipede creature. Unlike the gnomes, there’d be no escaping this disaster, not with Lion still down for the count from that last risky jump. Fortunately, they wouldn’t have to as a miraculous rescue arrived just in time.  Just as the monster was ready to unleash its acidic wrath upon its victims, something suddenly coiled tightly around its long midsection. The beast gagged as it was violently pulled away from the kids, toppling to the ground instead. As it fell, they were all able to see the small, yet strong purple figure who had managed to save them.  “‘Sup, Steven,” she grinned, throwing some of her long, lavender hair back.  “Amethyst!” Steven beamed, relieved. That relief only grew when he spotted the other Gems fighting the smaller centipede monsters scattered all over the area. “Pearl! Garnet! What’s going on?” “S-Steven!?” Pearl shrieked when she realized he was there. She threw her spear down hard on one of the smaller creatures, and as soon as she did, it vanished into nothing more than a puff of bright smoke. “Stay back! It’s too dangerous for you out here!” Click the link to read more; all comments are appreciated!

The Witch's Apprentice - Part 6

male demon x afab reader
Word count: 3k
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6  Part 7
He brought you back into your room. Where else would he bring you? Your soundproofed, locked room that you had no way out of.
You weren’t any less stuck than you were before.
That wasn’t going to stop you, couldn’t stop you. You needed to get out. You needed to see Eden.
You knew any attempt to reach her was pointless. She couldn’t hear you.
It didn’t stop your desperate attempt to get to her in any way possible. You pounded on the door, the noise of your fists against the thick wood echoing in your ears and never reaching hers.
You're not entirely sure how long you pounded on that door. It was hard to focus on anything. You weren’t seeing the door, you were seeing Eden’s face and her saving you from those god-forsaken woods and then Lucien doubling over again, hearing how his words got frantic as he tried to warn you about something he just couldn’t say and you’d start hitting even harder.
An earsplitting, pained scream sounded and it took a second to realize it came from you. You hadn’t meant to scream but what harm could it do? It wasn’t like anyone could hear you anyways.
You kept pounding until massive, gentle hands wrapped around your wrists.
You looked down to find Lucien holding your now bloodied hands.
His grip was soft. You could have pulled away if you’d wanted to, kept on trying to fight your way through a solid block of wood.
You let him stop you.
As soon as he realized you were done he released your hands and with that you collapsed to the floor, letting your head fall against the door.
“You tire yourself out yet?” Lucien asked, watching you from above.
You glared up at him as you sucked in air.
“I need…” Your voice came out nasally and wet. “I need to understand. I need to see her.”
“This is a bad idea.” He sounded resigned, as if he knew nothing he said was going to matter. You had to do this.
“Says the demon I talk to every day.”
“Don’t do that. Not now. Not after everything.”
“Sorry,” you said with a sniffle. “You weren’t a bad idea. I think summoning you might have been the only good idea I ever had.”
As you spoke you felt something being pushed under the door into your side. You looked down to see a plate of food. Your dinner.
You shoved it back out. At least that was something Eden could see, somewhere productive your frustration could go.
You heard a huff through the door and you knew she was projecting her voice through. “Fine, if you want to be that way.”
“Can I talk to you?” you called out, knowing it was never going to work.
You didn’t know if she’d left yet but it didn't matter. She never lifts it on your end, never tries to hear you.
A heavy sigh escaped Lucien as he stared at you with sad eyes.
“As long as you’re dead set on this, do you want to do something really stupid?”
You nodded instantly. At this point, you’d agree to just about anything.
He held his hand out towards you and waited.
You took a moment to gather yourself as best you could. There wasn’t much you could do at this point to stop looking like a mess but at the very least you could try to slow your breathing and blink some of the tears out of your eyes.
When you reached out to take his hand, he gave it a gentle squeeze before you were feeling the same sensation you’d felt when he’d whisked you back to his home. This time you appeared a few steps away, right through the wall.
Eden’s eyes widened in fear the second Lucien appeared in front of her. She hadn’t even noticed you yet, her eyes locked on his imposing figure.
As she stumbled backward, reaching blindly for something behind her, her eyes fell to you and that fear turned to anger.
“What did you do?” she hissed out.
“What did I do? How about I’ll tell you that when you explain the runes that burnt their way into his skin when he tried to warn me about you.”
You watched all the blood drain from her face. “What has he told you?”
“He hasn’t told me anything,” you shouted. “He can’t, you’ve stopped him. So now you’re going to tell me.”
You felt Lucien’s presence behind you, his hand ghosting over your back as a faint reminder that you weren’t here alone.
Eden stumbled back again, coming up against a table this time. As she did, she grabbed a handful of the rosemary you always made sure she had on hand and threw it at the both of you, murmuring something under her breath as she did.
You could feel the empty space where he’d stood before as she banished him.
There was a manic look in her eyes as you watched her strategize, planning out what she was about to say to you.
“He’s tricked you,” she finally settled on. “You think he’s on your side but he isn’t.”
“I don’t believe you,” you said, and those words seemed to strike almost as much panic in her as seeing Lucien did.
“You don’t understand. He’s the one who made the forest, he’s the reason you're trapped here at all. I saved you from that, don’t you remember?”
And then everything clicked into place. “Oh my god, you made him do it, didn’t you?”
She didn’t need to confirm it, you could see it written across her face, across the face that you knew so well.
She floundered and you just watched in horror as your best friend unraveled in front of you.
“No, no of course not,” she lied. “I wouldn’t do that to you. It would take a monster to do that to you.”
You remembered Lucien’s confusion when you told him you couldn’t leave the woods. “All this time you could have let me through.”
“I did let you through, don’t you see? I let you through to bring you here and I’ve kept you so safe.”
You fought not to glance towards the door, towards the woods. To not give anything away. You could make a break for it and from there, it was his woods. Maybe he could save you before Eden could command him to do anything else.
“Lucien made it,” you said again and Eden nodded eagerly You knew exactly what she wanted. For you to blame him, to act as if this wasn’t entirely her doing.
He could save you, you knew he could. You could run and summon him before his creation managed to swallow you whole.
Tears pricked at Eden’s eyes but they never fell. She would never let them fall. “You will not leave me.”
She said it the same way she commanded Lucien, with absolute authority
You weren’t falling for it anymore.
Your cheeks felt wet again and you reached up to find you’d started crying once more without even realizing it. “I would have stayed. If you’d just asked me I would’ve stayed in a heartbeat.”
“Then why does it matter?”
“Why does it… What do you mean why does it matter? You imprisoned me and you lied to me and I trusted you.”
She scoffed. “You know what? I tried so hard to be out here on my own. I conquered so much, escaped every other weak person who was dragging me down. But something was missing, something I couldn’t run from. And then you showed up, all bright-eyed and grateful and you fixed it all. I was weak and I needed people, needed you. I need you. Is that what you want to hear?”
It fully settled that she meant every word. She needed you here, needed you to keep the sickening loneliness that you were intimately familiar with away.
And never once did it occur to her to think about that feeling in you.
Why would it? You weren’t a friend to her, a companion, a person. You were a tool to stave off an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her gut.
Before you could even process the fact that you were running towards the door you were falling. You hit the ground with a thud as Eden watched on from behind you, her shaking hands pointed in your direction.
She muttered something under her breath and then you weren’t falling anymore. Instead, you were floating slowly but surely upwards.
It took a few moments to realize that while you might be floating, your body wasn’t coming with you. It was lying below you, cold and so very far away.
You looked dead.
You felt dead.
And then you were being made smaller. Matter was being summoned up where there was none before and you were being forced into a body that you don’t want to be in, one too small for you that felt far too fragile.
You could feel bones and tendons forming, snapping into place as Eden held you aloft in front of her.
Skin started to form over your new, unfamiliar frame and then something else. Were they feathers?
As unfamiliar flesh continued to crawl over the bones and muscles were conjured from nothing, you tried to fight, to move, to do anything in your new form.
You managed to lift what looked like a half-formed wing and the numbness was replaced with searing pain.
You felt like you’d been skinned and every feather that wormed its way out of you was like a needle through this new skin.
Eden plucked you out of the air moments before you’d finished forming into this new shape.
She held you in her hands and you’d never felt smaller.
“It suits you,” she said as she looked down at you, the wings she’d forced upon you being pressed into your sides by her fingers. “You were always more of a pet than an apprentice anyways.”
Before you can so much as gather your bearings you were being forced inside a silver cage.
Functioning inside the mind of a bird was impossibly difficult. You couldn’t hold onto thoughts anymore. The closest thing you had was the fear. That much the bird could understand.
You did your best to make out what was happening outside your cage. It wasn’t that your vision was worse now, if anything it was better. It was like the things you were seeing were losing their context and gaining a new one.
You saw Eden summon Lucien, saw them look down at your body as Eden said, “This is your fault.” You could see his breath catch in his chest, the way he doubled over on himself.
But you also saw predators, looming shapes that you wanted to get far away from. Their voices were too loud, you needed to leave.
Then a voice sounded not from outside your new cage, but from somewhere inside of you. “You're not dead. I can feel you. Where are you?”
You heard the words perfectly fine, you just couldn’t process them. As soon as the next would come the word preceding it was lost to you.
They were just sounds. Why were there sounds coming from inside your head? That’s not where they normally came from.
A panicked attempt to fly away was thwarted by this small metal prison. You couldn’t go anywhere and there were sounds coming from inside you and the creatures in the room just kept getting louder and louder.
The voice in your head wasn’t as loud as the creatures were, and yet you could hear it so much better. It spoke again and you could feel the voice trying to calm you. “...need you to summon me… can’t get to you…”
You could barely process the words before they left you behind.
You caught a glimpse of your side. You were gray. You weren’t always gray. Were you? It seemed strange.
You leaned back to straighten your feathers, preening restlessly as your mind told you to get away when you knew that you couldn’t.
The panic felt familiar in a way you couldn’t place. You knew this panic. It wrapped around your throat and stole your air with a practiced familiarity.
You were trapped.
You remembered this. You understood being trapped.
The sounds started making sense again, if only for a moment. Lucien and Eden were shouting at each other over your lifeless corpse and his voice sounded in your head, pleading with you.
“Just summon me, I can’t get out on my own.”
But you couldn’t. You didn’t have long enough, didn’t have enough of yourself left.
He’d known this would happen, had begged to take you away, for you not to do this. He had tried to save you, was still trying to, and you couldn’t get a hold of your own mind enough to help him do that.
With your fleeting lucidity, you did the best that you could, praying it would be enough. You focused everything you had and with all your might sent him back one word.
“Eden.”
It was difficult to parse what happened next. As far as you could tell,  it got very loud and everything moved very fast and then something exploded.
You couldn’t tell where it came from. It was harder to place than the voices were. It felt like you’d exploded, like your insides had folded back apart just as quickly as they had formed but it just as easily it could have been the room around you, breaking apart as Lucien took revenge in both of your names.
You probably wouldn’t make it out. You knew that much. You were stuck in an impossible body in an impossible situation in an impossible forest. You just hoped Lucien made it out, at the very least. That you did manage to free him.
The next thing you knew you were lying in a strange bed in a strange room with Lucien looming nervously over you.
You flexed your hand, your own hand, without so much as a single feather. It felt like a miracle.
The first words you sputtered out were, “Eden… is she…”
You didn’t need to finish the question.
He looked down at you, seeming like he was trying to figure out what answer you wanted. “She’s alive. I’d rather she wasn’t but I figured it should be up to you as much as it is me. Besides, I have her name now, she can’t make me do anything ever again. So I owe you one.”
“You don’t owe me anything,” you said, a coughing fit overtaking you after you forced the words out. A gray feather escaped your mouth and you almost threw up at the sight.
He graciously didn't mention it. “I really do.”
You shook your head but you didn’t have the energy to argue with him right now.
As you did, you took in the room around you. It was somewhere foreign, the walls of the room a dull gray with beat-up wooden furniture scattered about the room.
“Where am I?” you asked as you tried to peek out the window that sat behind Lucien without straining yourself too hard.
“An inn. I would’ve taken you back to hell with me but after everything you’ve been through I figured you’d appreciate being clear-headed. And besides, it’s easier to leave this way, in case you want me gone.”
You furrowed your brow. “Why would I want you gone?”
“I’m the reason you’ve been stuck in your own personal hell for years, you literally have nightmares about something I did to you.”
You shook your head again. “No, that’s not right. She made you do it, didn’t she?”
He shrugged. “Doesn’t change what happened to you.”
You rolled your eyes. “You pouting about it won’t change anything either. You’re not going anywhere, understood?”
He nodded as a faint smile graced his face. “Understood. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go pay for the room. I sort of just poofed us into the nearest inn I could remember as soon as I got a hold of you. You’ll be alright on your own?”
You wouldn’t be. How could you possibly be alright after all of this, after everything you knew had been ripped out from under you?
You nodded.
He took you at your word, stepping out the door with a final look in your direction. He closed the door softly behind him as if he was worried if it made too loud of a noise you’d spook.
You collapsed back into the bed, letting your exhaustion take over you.
As you fell into a fitful sleep, you couldnt help but wonder what sort of nightmares you’d have now.

Hi!
And this is a succubus!Reader x Autobots (again)
In secret, the reader left the Decepticon base and was with the Autobots, spending time with them, having fun and telling the Decepticon information
The reader has already managed to make friends with the children (especially Miko) and Jack's mom
And one day, the reader gave the Autobots their weapons when they would turn into people.
Tumblr media
For Wheeljack, I do not know which weapon to draw for him(
(Miko also wanted a weapon for herself, but the reader said it was too early for her..)
Hmmm, ok, I will try my best.

Demon Reader X Autobots
Part 4
Months ago, there was an interesting person who joined the autobot team. They were not human nor cybertronian. They were a demon named (Y/N).
No, they were not here to hurt the humans of the team, but they were there to just hang. They helped the autobots and, surprisingly, the decpticons to.
They gave them a rare gem that made them have the ability to turn into a human. Not a full human but a cybertronian disguised as a human.
This helped the autobots a lot since they were very bad at hiding in the more population areas. Though they were still a demon, they loved to cause chaos. They gave the gems to the decpticons as well, which caused them to hide in the human race just like the autobots.
Neither side knows what (Y/N) has been doing, but they were to focus on eschother then the demon.
Which leads us to today. The autobot team has been struggling with wepons and energon. So, (Y/N) decided to help them the best way they know how.
Stealing a whole military arsenal and bringing it to the autobot base.
They made an excuse that in hell, they have a bunch of spare wepons but it was not true.
They don't need to know, though. (Y/N) also made sure to add a bit of their demon powers to the wepons so it's more powerful and can change sizes depending what size the autobots are.
Optimus
When optimus received his new wepon. He made sure to take a good look at it.
It seemed to be a better version of a shot gun (since I think that is what his weapon is, can't tell if it's a shock gun or a double barrel shotgun)
He tested out and messed with it for a bit to meet his needs.
Once he got the hang of it, he thanked (Y/N) for the gift.
He never uses it, though. He only uses it as a last resort since he is not gonna kill for the sake of it.
Ratchet
Ratchet received (Y/N) and looked surpised.
This was a huge ass sniper gun! (If it is, if not, sorry)
He was confused since he was never on the field fighting.
Though, he was thankful for it when he was on the field one day and had to use his sniper to shoot at a decpticon.
Now he keeps it with him all the time.
Arcee
Arcee was a bit confused on the gloves she received.
That was intel they transformed into swords. (Since that's what they do right? If not sorry, I'm really trying here.)
She was surprised since he already had swords on her arms.
That was ijtel she realized she could use them as a sheild to if she holds her hands together.
She just became more bad ass.
Bulkhead
Bulkhead was excited when he received his weapon.
He was a wrecker and getting a massive hammer as a weapon was awsome to him.
He had to get use to it though since it was heavy but once he understood how to use it, he used that weapon everytime he can.
When he learned he could send a wave of electricity guy charging it up by swinging it, he fell in love with it.
Bumblebee
When he was given a sword. He was excited.
Since he dident have knife hands or arms like the rest of the team. Like hell, even ratchet had knife hands.
He immediately trained with it, getting it down.
He did forget it a few times when he went on missions since he is not used to having a weapon.
The team loved their gifts and used them. The kids thought it was awesome and asked for weapons. Optimus told them they couldn't have weapons. Though, it doesn't stop (Y/N).
(Y/N) gave Raphael a pair of glasses that worked just like normal glasses, but he can also use them as a hacking device since they where intelligent glasses.
Jack got a sword that can turn into a wip if needed to. (Mostly because I see jack being more of a mele weapon then a fire arm person)
And miko, miko got a hammer just like bulkhead. Though, just a tad difference. Mikos hammer can also transform into a suit around miko if she needs to fight a larger decpticons.
(Since you know, the tfp episode where she was able to have the metal armor)
Everyone loved it.

Yandere Demon x Female Reader:
TW:

❤️️The singing demon❤️️
Back in the 20th century, there was a young woman named (Y/n) (Y/a), who belonged to a high-class family and was married to a kind and handsome man named Alexis. They were a couple of twenty-two and twenty-seven years old, having been married for about five years respectively.
They met when the young (Y/n) was seventeen years old and he was "twenty-two" with a young appearance. She was a girl who still lived with her parents and siblings; while Alexis was beginning to make himself known in the world of music, showing his incredible talent and attracting a lot of fans and audiences everywhere. He approached her after her family invited him to a relative's birthday party to sing and play. That man noticed her immediately, but it was difficult to gain her love, since unlike his fans, she did not fall under the hypnosis of his music at the first moment, which was a challenge for him.
It wasn't until he gave her some beautiful flowers, albeit with a strange scent.
From there, she slowly fell in love with him and slowly reciprocated his flirtations until she was completely crazy about him, becoming his girlfriend, and currently his wife. He was quite good, respectful and kind to her. In addition to being a hard worker, he was intelligent and diligent. He belonged to the high society of that time, so he was a man of money and renown, which made (Y/n) considered a lucky woman.
--You were great, Alex-- She congratulated him when they arrived at the front of the mansion and (Y/n) got out of the car.
--Ah, eh… I think I'll be a little late again, darling-- He excused himself when he saw that she was waiting for him to enter with her. This greatly disconcerted her, so he approached her and gently held her chin.
--Seriously? Again?-- (Y/n) asked with slight annoyance. He nodded.
--Yes. I have to coordinate not only my next concert, but I also have to coordinate the radio shows I was invited to; and also, I have to coordinate a party that is next Saturday, which I want you to go to with me-- Alexis replied, holding her hands and giving her a soft kiss on the lips.
--A party on Saturday? Great! It coincides with our anniversary-- His discomfort dissipated a little, showing his smile. He loved his anniversaries with him (in addition to every day of coexistence, obviously); And of course, she wanted to do something for him this Saturday at home, but this idea seems much better.
--Yeah. I want you to look splendid for that day. But returning to the subject; I don't know what time I return, I just know what will be late-- He kissed her and then got into the vehicle. --Good night, darling-- Alexis said goodbye, and the driver led to the desired fate, leaving (t/n) there in the house, only with some maids.
She entered the house and thought more about the situation. She suspected that she was being a victim of infidelity on the part of her husband, so she made the decision to follow him for the next few days.
The first few days and nights were normal, but everything changed on Friday night, when she never imagined what she would end up finding.
She managed to follow him to what appears to be a church out of the city, thanks to a taxi. She walked to the entrance of said church, in the middle of a forest; the church in question looked normal from the outside. (Y/n) walked, following her fiancé from afar and watching him enter said church from behind a tree. She looked out one of the windows and was horrified by what she saw.
There were other people inside, who she recognized as some of her husband's fans and fellow producers, but what struck her most were the demonic decorations and paintings or photos of her smiling next to what Alexis really is; that is, a demon.
(Y/n) watched as her husband walked down the center to what appears to be the altar of the church, transforming into the demon he truly is. She was horrified and very terrified at what she saw, trembling in fear. The other members just stared at their master in fascination. (Y/n) walked away from the window, and in that she accidentally stepped on a branch, which especially alerted the demon who already detected her scent. He immediately sent his followers to look for her and they were quick to go after her.
(Y/n) walked away from the window, and in that she accidentally stepped on a branch, which especially alerted the demon who already detected her scent. He immediately sent his followers to look for her and they were quick to go after her.
--Oh no!-- She immediately started running away, but was still soon surrounded and grabbed. The fans immediately brought her to "Alexis", referring to (Y/n) as "queen". When they finally left her before that demon, she couldn't say anything out of fear. Her husband smiled in fascination and gently stroked her chin with his claws.
--(Y/n), you are such a curious person, to the point of putting yourself in the lion's den. I was planning to reveal myself to you tomorrow night, but you simply accelerated the inevitable. I imagine you suspected that I was unfaithful to you, right?-- He spoke to her in his deep but hypnotic voice. She could only nod as she trembled and cried in terror.
--But still, it's good to know that my queen is here, with us and that you will never leave us.-- He then proceeds to hug her while he has her under a trance, proceeding to give her a passionate kiss on the lips, marking her as his.
-The end.

Nico Robin!Reader with Loki, Buddha, Tesla, Beelzebub, Jack, Ares, Hermes, Rudra, Hades, Hercules and Platonic Zerofuku
She fights against Athena or some brutish god that doesn’t care about destroying Human History, which angers her and she smiles as she reveals her ‘Devilish Side’ (Using Demonio Fleur, which horrifies her opponent and they’re begging for mercy, only for Reader to break their spine) when some random god says her win doesn’t count because she ‘Cheated’ she uses her power and… crushes his balls (I love Robin she’s my queen 💖)
she calls (Love) a Squirrel when he eats with his cheeks stuffed with food (She calls Loki adorable when he messes up with his transformations) and her dark sense of humor keeps people on their toes
-As you walked out, following Athena’s over the top entrance, many were a little disappointed, as you didn’t seem anything special, you weren’t dancing or doing any fancy moves, you weren’t even holding a weapon! How are you going to fight Athena of all goddesses with no weapons?!
-Athena smirked down at you, but she was a little surprised, seeing that you didn’t look at all bothered, as the humans cheered for you. It was a little odd, as you remembered, for most of your life, humans were hunting you, wanting the bounty on your head, believing the government that you were a demon and needed to be destroyed.
- As the fight started, you crossed your arms in front of you, “Mil Fleur: Gigantesco Mano!!” hands started to surround you, forming into something bigger and bigger, before two massive hands appeared and you controlled them, swinging out to open-hand strike at Athena who only barely blocked the first one, but was sent flying with the second one.
-Many were stunned, seeing your abilities, several were shouting that this ability was illegal- but Zeus did relent, as it was a part of you when you had died, it was legal, but that still didn’t please everyone.
-You and Athena traded blows back and forth and you were panting heavily, injured and you needed to wrap this battle up soon. Athena then smirked and changed her own form, to be one that towered over you, the same size of her statue in Athens as she smirked down at you, “How will you handle this?!”
-You just smirked, stunning her as you closed your eyes for a moment, gathering what strength you had left, “Demonio Fleur~” eyes went wide as your own body seemed to grow and grow, your skin turning to almost pitch black with a red tint, horns and wings sprouting from your body, making you look like an actual demon.
-Many were terrified to see this form, but so many were also stunned, seeing that you could transform into a demon, despite being a human.
-Athena was terrified of you, demanding you to get back, shocking so many, as she was regarded as one of the bravest gods, and many were shouting for you to let her go as you managed to grab her. She was still trying to insult you, trying to break free as you both started screaming, you from overexerting yourself, and her from pain as well as trying to get out.
-You then shouted out, “Gran Jacuzzi Clutch!!” and a sickening snap echoed through the arena, as you broke Athena’s back and she went limp in your arms, dying.
-Your demonic form faded as she fell to the ground and you were gasping for air, exhausted from the battle, but you couldn’t help but smile, hearing the cheers for you as you had won the whole tournament.
-Zues approached you as you stood, as he had promised, if humanity won this final match, he would grant your wish, and you stunned everyone by smiling, “Bring everyone back.” Zeus was surprised, hearing your wish, but he couldn’t help but chuckle, “Perhaps you’re not a demon at all, Y/N.”
-You just turned, walking away from him as everyone was reforming, as you needed to get to the infirmary, “No- others were the ones who made me like this. But I will wear the crown if it fits.”
-Another god, who couldn’t believe that you defeated Athena, shouted at you, “You cheated- that power of yours isn’t fair!!” you looked up at him and he froze as two hands appeared and everyone around him froze as you grabbed his balls, crushing them, making all men around fear you, or at least fear insulting you- you were quite cruel when you wanted to be.
-Your words stunned many, hearing that you weren’t a cruel person, but others deemed you one, claiming you were evil, and you remember a time in your life when you were, doing vile things , but after you met your captain- no… your family, you only did bad things to protect them and yourself. They had given you a second chance when nobody else would, and you wouldn’t let anyone who didn’t earn it take it from you.
-You were resting in the infirmary when one of the nurses said you had a guest and you opened your eyes, curious as to who was coming and when Zerofuku walked in, you couldn’t help but smile softly, welcoming him.
-Immediately he was across the room, lunging into your arms, which made you giggle softly, hugging him close as he sniffled softly, “I’m so glad you’re okay!” when he pulled back, tears streaming down his face, you couldn’t help but smile softly, brushing the tears from his cheeks, “I’m okay now, Zerofuku.”
-He sniffled again, “Pinkie promise?” you just smiled, knowing the truth behind pinkie promises, showing your more morbid sense of humor as you showed him both of your pinkies, “Which one do you want if I’m lying?”
-He froze, realizing what you had just said before he started wailing loudly, hugging you around his neck as you giggled softly before you heard another knock at the door.
-(Love) walked in, giving you a slightly exasperated look, “Really Y/N- you know you shouldn’t joke about things like that.” Your hand hid your lips as you giggled softly, Zerofuku pulling back to rub at his eyes as (Love) came over, sitting on the opposite side before he wrapped his arms around you, sagging into your embrace, “I’m so glad you’re okay.” You smiled softly, lifting a hand to stroke at the back of his neck, “I decided long ago that nobody was going to kill me unless if they earned it the hard way.” (Love) couldn’t help but chuckle- he knew that you were strong, you wouldn’t go down easily as your two boys, your lover and your adopted son, both doted on you as you were still recovering.
-Beelzebub, Hades, Hermes, Rudra, and Jack
-Immediately ran in and joined Zerofuku, hugging the both of you, crying loudly, “You’re okay!!” you couldn’t help but giggle, as he knew you were okay if you were making dark jokes like this, like normal. Seeing both of them crying crocodile tears, which did make you think of your old boss, Crocodile, crying, which was rather amusing to think about, you did try to calm them down, “You’re going to give yourself puffy eyes and cheeks- you’ll look just a like a couple of squirrels.” They both sniffled in unison, which you did think was adorable, a giggle rising out of you as you hugged them to you, happy that you won- you had them both in your arms again.

Hi! Hi!! :DDDD
Can i request Vaggie and charlie with luna/Nightmare moon!Reader? (Polyamorous relationship ofc, if you can :3)
So the reader was a moon angel back in heaven (like she would rise the moon and take care of the people who lived in the night) and sister to Sera. When reader noticed that she was least loved and recognized than her sister, she felt anger and envy inside her. Causing her to transform into nightmare moon and fell from heaven to hell.
I feel like the transformation of nightmare moon would hurt a lot, so when she transformed into it in heaven, Sera would hear her sister's screams turn into maniacal laughter.
Reader would meet charlie and vaggie in the aftermath of the nightmare, probably scaring a few people around them bc of her appearance. Thus arriving in the hotel with no interest in having a redemption (she enjoys being in hell taking care of the bat/shadow demons..her people).
When they go to heaven, They realize that because of her, they now have a holiday (nightmare night). If you can, please add her to the heaven meeting and chaggies reaction when Adam shows them what reader did to get banished 😭
hihihihiihihihi!! O-M-G of course I can!! I love princess Luna sm :)
Also requests are still open, but it’ll take me longer to do them :3

You loved your job and working with your sister and the people of heaven. It was a wonderful place to be at after all wasn’t it?
You loved the night as it was your special job and gift that heaven gave you to take care of. But you slowly started to realize how people only loved to be out in the sunlight and dismiss your beautiful night.
They only loved and recognized Sera just because she brought the stupid sun up. It made you feel ignored and unappreciated and soon all that hate and sorrow that bubbled up inside you burst.
The day you finally snapped your transformation was huge as it caused nighttime to become brighter and a huge blast of light was sent up to the sky as you transformed.
It felt incredibly painful as it felt like your skin was being burned off but those screams of pain slowly turned into maniacal laughter as you transformed into nightmare moon and began to spiral into insanity.
As you began to lose your sanity completely as nightmare moon Sera saw this and had no other choice but to banish you to hell. She was crying as she banished you knowing that this was most likely her fault for your spiral.
As you fell down to hell you looked like a purple shooting star and your crash was powerful as you caused a hole in the land.
The people in hell were afraid of you because they recognized your appearance from the news that you were a fallen angel banished from hell.
As you were walking one day you paused to see a questionable advertisement for a hotel “redeeming” sinners, it had your interest and you went to go find this hotel.
When you finally made it there you were met by Charlie and Vaggie. Charlie seemed ecstatic that someone wanted to come to her hotel but you quickly told her that you just wanted to be here to take care of your people.
She was still happy though that you wanted to help with the hotel project. Vaggie didn’t know you were a fallen angel cause she doesn’t watch or read the news but you could quickly tell Vaggie was a fallen angel based on the x on her eye and the angelic spear she wielded.
After a couple months Charlie and Vaggie both grew romantic feelings for you. Charlie wanted to invite you into the relationship asap but Vaggie told her maybe they should take their time hinting their feelings for you.
They both confessed to you a couple days after that conversation and you accepted their confession as you guys now became a polycule.
When the hotel starting to fall into action Charlie called her dad and after the whole fight with Alastor and Lucifer yadayada… he managed to schedule her a meeting with heaven and she wanted to take both you and Vaggie along.
You and Vaggie were both hesitant but agreed to make Charlie happy as she had been working on this hotel for a long time.
As you guys made it to heaven St.Peter recognized you but didn’t say a word about it until Sera came to greet Charlie.
She didn’t expect to see you though. It’s been thousands of years since you last saw each other and it was painful for you guys to see each other in this state. Thank the gods she didn’t point you out though and instead silently lead you guys to your hotel.
She didn’t want to talk to you until the trial began and you were so glad she didn’t try telling Charlie or Vaggie who you really were.
When the trial finally started and you guys all entered the court room, Adam immediately recognized you and started laughing.
”Well look who we have here! The reason why we celebrate nightmare night out in the flesh.” You’re looked at him with a death glare but that immediately turned into panic as Charlie asked what he was talking about. Vaggie was in shock though as she realized you were the reason why nightmare night was a thing.
As Adam explained what you did to get banished from heaven and why nightmare night was created because of you, they were both in shock but you were ashamed and embarrassed of your past. You couldn’t help but look at Sera with a pitiful look begging for her to help her dear sister. But of course she followed heavens rules and did absolutely nothing. What a great sister.
You ran out of the courtroom out of fear from your identity being revealed and you waited in the hotel room for the court case to finish.
Once it finished (and after all hell broke loose there) Vaggie rushed to the hotel room to check on you. She saw you on the floor crying because of your past mistakes and quickly went to comfort you.
After comforting you she explained that Charlie just needed a break from the both of you because you guys both hid huge things from her.
You and Vaggie both understood but all of you felt dread as the extermination day was coming and all of this had just been dropped on all of you. Oh what would you do when the day came..

Choose an unknowable being to summon to carry out your will.
1: a massive demon in black armor. He is a being of fire, and can go from pleasantly warm to hot enough to kill anything he touches. Though he is by nature a being that takes human souls, thousands of years of life experience have made him into a man of honer, he speaks softly, and tries to avoid sadism when possible.
2: a young spirit of advertisements and technology. Perhaps it is truly new, perhaps it is a nature spirit corrupted into something new. Either way it's very excited to have its first true master, and while it's not very strong, it's powerful in the ways of mind control and manipulation.
3: a goblin whose found herself indebted to a wizard. She appears as a skinny humanoid, with long limbs, sharp teeth and red eyes, and is capable of sustaining herself on inorganic material. She's kind of feral, but craves attention, especially from you.
4: a fallen angel whose found themself in a really bad place in the multiverse. They look almost like a doll or a machine but with radiant wings and a broken halo. They're still very upset about what happened to them, and tend to cry a lot.
5: a golem who was banished from Atlantis before it fell into the ocean. One of the only options her from earth. It tends to be stoic and wordless due to something it did in the long past, and when she does talk to you she perfers short statments. Also the most loyal option here, and may be her fully of her own will.
6: a raven spirit who takes many forms and has been known by many names. They're a trickster by nature, and they'd be very excited to carry out any plans that she finds amusing. Though be warned, they have a quick tounge, and may want you to do a few favors for him.
7: a vampire whose been bound to a forgotten god through a failed pact. She looks somewhat human, but there's always something unnatural about her, and her mouth can open far wider than a humans can. She was turned into a vampire some time in the early modern era, and tends to wear men's clothing from that era. She can be a bit quiet and introverted, but she's actually quite nice, and probably wants to best for most humans.
8: an eldrich knight from a long destroyed dimension. They're bound to their armor from the neck down, and can't eat or sleep. They seem to enjoy hurting people, though there's a very high chance that they become protective of you after awhile.
9: an undying werewolf bound to oppose tyranny in every era. If your goals align with her's there's a good chance she'll become very loyal and protective twords you. But if she deems you a force of evil she is able to leave you. She's also very physically affectionate.
10: faerie prince who was banished from his kingdom due to [redacted]. He's very nice and charming, though he doesn't understand human laws or morals in the slightest. Though he does have a few important rules he's bound to, most notably he's no longer allowed to kill anyone directly, though he's creative enough to find ways to harm them in more interesting ways.
11: a failed wizard who now exists as a ghost indebted to a god of death. They know what they've done, and they're entirely at peace with what's happened to them. They'll likely start out feeling inferior to you, and it's up to you if you encourage those emotions.
12: the Cat King [⚠️do not summon the Cat King⚠️].
Reblog the summon the creature. Like to give it a small gift.

Can I get one of OverWatch where the reader is the S/O of Genji, Hanzo, Junkrat, Roadhog, and Junker Queen? Like, How would they react to a reader who has a sword that looks normal at first but when their S/O sees their partner in danger, the sword reveals itself as a cursed sword where the blade changes color and their S/O changes into a demon form (whenever the curse takes effect) to protect their partner and change back once they're safe.
Genji,Hanzo, JQ, Junkrat, and Roadhog w/ a plant sword and demon powers
Sorry it's all headcanons -Xor & Frisk

Junker Queen
❦ ════ •⊰♔⊱• ════ ❦
Ms.Ma'am is FLABBERGASTED
Also lowkey jealous bc thats so cool???? If she could she'd yoink it but since it's your's she won't
She would totally say your sword and Gracie (her knife) are besties
Finds your demon form so incredibly cool
Would absolutely try and fight you while your in it, just to see how it'd go
She can handle herself so it probably wouldn't happen very often
But when it does she's lowkey so into it bc yeah, fuck shit up bbg
Roadhog
━━━━━━━𓃟━━━━━━━━
It's hard to impress this man .
Even harder so for him to get into danger he can't handle.
Seeing you use your sword for the first time absolutely left him keeling.
He was so lost for a moment because who in junker town uses a sword when most people have ranged weapons.
He was surprised at how well you handled yourself , especially with your short temper.
Watching you transform was something else , he half expected something else
But a demon that's something else
Left him speechless more speechless than normal
100% let you know how much he appreciates you afterwards.
Actually make that 200% with a side of approval and cuddles
Junkrat
⫷════ •⊰♨⊱• ════⫸
he's been trying to steal your sword it was why he got with you before he fell In love
the moment he sees what that can do he just wants it , he wants to hold it and tell you , that you've found something gorgeous
He completely forgot the danger for a second before a junker grabbed him by the throat
He was littleraly in awe watching you cut them down, until one of them managed to get the upper hand.
Immediately made the comment that he picked a "feisty one"
100% asks you to show him how you did all of that
Tried to bite your sword afterwards and chipped a tooth
Genji
:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::[]==()
At first he's generally a little startled he never expected you to hold so much potential when Null Sector cornered him .
He loved watching the vines and flowers wrap around your sword it seems so cool and he definitely wanted to try it .
After you'd gotten hurt and decided as a last sitch effort to I leash your demon is he was worried about how the fight might go.
You were very injured at the end but watching you cut and claw down the massive robot he made sure you got the medical treatment you deserved
100% he teaches you how to defend yourself he doesn't want you getting hurt like that again
He also begs to try out your fancy sword , he lets you use his in returns
Hanzo
≫━─━─━─━─◈─━─━─━─━⫸
Bro does not know how to feel
Flashbacks to his brother
Also finds it interesting though in more of a "watching from a distance" way
Also isn't in danger too often though its more likely for him
Out of everyone would probably ask the most logical questions like where your sword came from, how it does all that cool shit, can he try it- etc etc
Would also probably wanna try fighing you though just to try and train for if he ever comes into contact with someone who had a similar ability
