i like having brain rots bc i get to improve on many skills and also be v self indulgent

for some vague context, I have two slytherin MCs (they're twins!) (its convoluted. they have memories of past "runs" on their own but this time they're with other MCs from other houses). this is just a hypothetical scene during my outlining of where elin gets caught and cursed like anne did and seb gets caught in the fray, they both get kidnapped and during all that, elin has decided to use what she remembers to test a hypothesis on a cure (which is a week or couple days of enduring excrutiating pain and not making a peep while someone watches over her.)

anyways. i thought i'd draw it and paint it bc i quite like how the sketch turned out. this is all for me. i have a lot of these and since the other one went ok as a post (i was scared pls), i thought i'd slowly trickle post all the things i've made the past month or two. will i ever share the full writing? no clue but i'm having fun and that's all i care abt

Firstly, hopefully I haven't taken too long on this. I was hoping to have it finished around dec 10 but then I had some hiccups and I had to temporarily abandon this due to christmas stress gift preparing. As for the hiccups, originally this would have a fic accompanying it. As you can tell by the lack of fic, that did not happen. The original prompt I had for it though was Neil having a very fun and not at all traumatic time at the nest and Jean being there to help him not fall apart after Riko is finished. Yada yada they bond over waterboarding sucking ass or something. Nosebleed because it's more visually interesting. Secondly, as for the cropping. Originally I was going to gift you the whole drawing (and a fic but we're ignoring that part) but I ended up not liking it! My favourite part of the drawing is Neil's face so I figured why not just zoom in on the good part and cut everything else? But then I thought about all the hours I spent on Jean and such so I decided I might as well still show it, just preface it's.. yeah. It is what it is. But oh well what can you do? Remake it? Probably. But I wanted to try to at the very least have it out for the 25th. Despite the hurdles I hope you still like it!! Happy holidays. Sincerely, your very tired secret snowflake.

When meeting a feeding and injured old one it is very important to keep calm. Usually Y/N would leave, put up wards and warn the villagers but this one is way too close to the village to keep everyone safe. So communication is the next best thing. Witches usually talk to old ones by entering their domain. A mental conection is formed and the old one and the witch meet on a level playing field, a dimention linked to all old ones. A risky move but a well prepared witch would be able to manouver a negotiation easily... lets see how Y/N does when unexpectedly Moon joins them.... knowing how bad he reacts to the old ones... and how badly they react to him
