Abilities: Rosemary controls these red poison butterflies which it's actually inspired from a manhwa that I read Rosemary has to consume poison though to control it don't worry there is medicine for it however the medicine always leaves her numb which means that it's slowly helping her with the poison madness or illusion butterflies she always uses them though she is a great swordsman however in order to summon them she has to cut the opponent or the opposite she can cut herself and she can summon them madness energy she hinges on that madness though so yeah she has the ability to teleport so yeah however she doesn't really use it though

Okay so-

You´ll defo get a fat chance to see MC interacting with the Cullens - that includes Bella ofc. In fact, there´s a reason I put them in the tags of my story early on, even though their first appearance won´t be until much later.

The Cullens will play a rather big part in all of it, as MC meeting them will probs set some things in motion that may or may not impact the dynamic between her and her forced-found family (the Denalis). You´re absolutely correct that she has no idea another "variant" of whatever-they-are exists out there. A variant that she might even come to like because that variant seems somewhat sane, at least.

Their eyes are defo less haunting. That´s already a huge plus in her book...

MC will find out what they are for sure. She´s bound to, at some point. Tanya hasn´t taken her in just for shits and giggles. (Kate begs to differ.) Our coven leader very much plans on having MC stay with her them permanently, and there´s only one way to ensure that. You hearing bells too?

I imagine MC would much rather deal with a bit of weirdness (which probs includes serving as a Barbie for Alice to dress up) than a whole ton of...whatever it is that's not quite right with her kidnappers. 🙃

Tbh: I don't plan for MC to find out about vampires until much later. There's a few things I got in mind for how and when she finds out, and I did say it's not necessarily gonna be the Denalis who will tell the tale.

The Volturi will be involved in one way or another, I´m sure. My mind hasn´t made it that far yet though, because we gotta get MC settled in first. We also gotta tame Irina first before any other vampires (besides the Denalis) can be introduced to our girl. I need MC to be in a position where ALL members of the family are somewhat willing to go the extra mile to keep her with them safe. Whether that be for personal reasons or because your sister went all coven leader on you...

As for being involved in family affairs/meetings:

Hmm, I haven´t thought about that yet. I mean, they´re vampires. They could discuss matters with her in the next room and she would be none the wiser because they can speak at a volume that’s only audible to them due to their heightened hearing. If they don´t want her included in something, she won´t be.

On the other hand...

Seeing how Tanya has already signed the adoption papers (so to speak), I can also very much see her being adamant on MC being included in family matters from now on. She´s the leader, and while she accepts and welcomes her coven members´ opinions, she can be rather stubborn when she´s set her mind on something (or someone).

Much to the annoyance of Irina. Girl´s gonna hit her breaking point sooner rather than later. 💀

It´s more about staying true to yourself despite the challenges you face, and about becoming the best version of yourself. Finding love can help a great deal with that, but in the end, it´s up to you to face your demons. Where there´s a will, there´s a way.

Yes and no, lol. They´re more experienced than most of their kind for sure, seeing how sleeping around is pretty much all they've been doing for the past century. Besides feeding, ofc. Sometimes they do both at once, and there's the catch-

Getting their fill is all they care about, really. Whether that be related to feeding or...other things. There's never been a situation for them where they felt like they had to be extra careful with their victims flings, simply because they.don't.care. If they make it out alive at the end, good for them. If not, well that's that. There's more where they came from. No biggie. 🤷‍♀️

They have exceptional control over their bloodlust, it has to be said. But that doesn't mean they're gonna overexert themselves with it. Shit happens, so to speak. 🙃

Just wanted to comment that I found your post about the five pillars of magic and who is proficient in which so incredibly interesting! I was actually kinda surprised that Little Star had no experience in Shadow because I’ve gotten the impression that Macaque had more of the role of teacher with them than Wukong did at that time, and he had MK delve into it a little, but I guess the circumstances were VERY different with Macaque actually training Star but manipulating MK to siphon his powers when they first met (actually intrigued about your take on that in the Constellations verse) but obviously you as the author have more info on the characters than we as the audience do.

Poor MK is the only one not proficient in an area yet 😭 but tbh considering he’s so young compared to the rest of them and has been training officially for even less (I guess approximately a year? Maybe more or less? Idk the timelines help) then I think he’s doing real good! My guess would be that he’s gonna master either Celestial or possibly Elemental first since I guess that’s some of what Wukong had been teaching him so far and we know MK takes after him a lot in certain areas? Plot twist would be if you have some mega angst planned and he ends up mastering Death first (I remember Wukong mentioning that the golden flowers of his birth might have appeared in the Underworld too?), orrrr maybe he’ll end up being a Jack of All Trades, Master of None? Anyway MK baby I believe in you 🧡

To Little Star, magic is fun first and foremost. I don't think they'd be interested (or patient enough) to train in shadow magic. Macaque would respect that.

Huh. 🤔If I had to explain in a constellations!way or how I see it happening, Macaque was manipulating the shadows in MK's heart and mind, pulling on that emotion of wanting to be a great student, powerful and cool enough so that Monkey King would be impressed by him. We know, at this point, that MK was wondering if Wukong thought he'd made a mistake in choosing MK as his successor. Macaque would've honed in on that feeling of inadequacy and used it to his advantage.

So, then, Macaque could give power to MK in that way. Once Macaque can control/see the shadows in someone's heart and mind, it's exceptionally easy for him to manipulate them. Macaque can give them nightmares, conversely, he can also prevent nightmares by this same manipulation (this will come up later). I'd like to think that he needs to have some feeling to go off of, y'know. A way to get his foot in the door. Training with MK in season 1 was Macaque finding that way in, and he grabbed hold of it, and...the reset of the episode happened. That's how I'd explain it, anyway. So MK doesn't know shadow magic formally. He's just felt it and somewhat controlled it...kind of.

No, MK is not proficient...yet. In Constellations, the first three seasons of the show took place in two years. Right now, in the epilogue, we are in...May! Of the third year (yes i have this fic planned down to the timeline, leave me alone). The epilogue will end in, roughly, September. MK will be training that whole time.

So he's been training for about two and a half years. I'd say he's making great progress! He's mastered the 72 transformations, and once he's directed his celestial magic to interact with all of the elements, he'll have crossed another milestone. For magic proficiency, we have to think...smaller. Like by individual spells. For an immortal, time is nothing. For MK? Every second counts, and he's learning fast. He's great at cloud-somersaulting already after his first attempt. That's fucking astounding since it even took Wukong some time to master. You're right that he's doing great!!

MK is focusing on celestial and elemental right now, yes. This will come up in chapter 6 of the epilogue. And! In chapter 3, Macaque and Wukong discussed the order of teaching MK the elements. In their minds, that means MK has a solid foundation in celestial magic, enough so that they can push him to do more elemental things.

Interesting that you'd mention death magic...what a plot twist that would be, indeed. 😁We'll have to see what happens. But! I do love the idea of MK being a jack of all trades. I just love characters like that. But, if I were to put a celestial primate in that category right now, it'd be Macaque. But that's just because he loves magic so much.

Wukong did say that MK's birth made golden flowers bloom in every realm (this is very important) along with an earthquake. So! Golden flowers from MK's birth are in the Underworld! Wonder what happened with them, huh.

So I remembered how you mentioned in the first chapter that she was on the pill and it made me think about there potentially being a pregnancy scare for her and Alfred in the future now that they’ve become more official. I wondered if you ever thought about how he’d react? He blinks, not sure he’s heard correctly.

“Pardon?”

A crease appears between her eyebrows, her eyes searching his, “Alfred, I’m late. We’ve been so busy, that I hadn’t noticed. But I’m about to start a new pack and…”

Her words are rushed as she swallows, her eyes dropping, “And I think we should-”

Alfred shifts for the first time in minutes, shoulders strung tight as he stands in their bedroom. Mind already racing ahead, and he has to force himself to slow down when she confirms what he thought she was saying.

“Has this happened before? Being late?” His voice is somehow low and steady, despite the way his heart has kicked up.

A moment as she thinks, and then nods, “It has. Sometimes, in the past, but not since… not since we’ve been together.”

He exhales. Finally seeing the tension in her own body, and then he’s trying to soften, stepping closer. She curls into him, cheek pressed into his shoulder, his eyes far-off as his lips press into her hair.

“I’ll buy us a test, then. Would you like to stay here?” He doesn’t really want to leave her, but he needs a moment alone to think, to work things out in his own head.

Always pragmatic, always a planner. She needs him, but he can’t be there for her the way he wants to be with his stomach in knots like this.

She nods again, fingers gripping into his shirt. When he finally steps away, they trail after him for a moment, before dropping.

His hands are stiff from clutching the steering wheel so hard. Sitting in the parking spot for just a moment longer before going in.

He’s not stalling, he would never leave her waiting. Just needing one more second to process the endless loop of thoughts from the drive over.

The thought of possibly being a father, though he had never considered himself one. How he hadn’t been, when he need to be. The guilt had gnawed at him for years, slowly stripping him away.

Of course he had - does - love Bruce like a son. Couldn’t love him more, if in another world, he had been. But the memories that have spanned the last twenty years still felt so fresh at times - the loss and the pain and the shaky ground that was just now leveling out. It staggered him.

It’s had only been recently - with the addition to the family, the young master Grayson - that the sharp, aching edge of self-loathing had started to ebb. When Bruce had turned to him, during those first nights - so lost and unsure how to help.

Alfred had seen himself, from those twenty years ago.

It’s then, when he had felt like he had helped, when he watched the way Bruce had slowly and carefully become more confident - when he had smiled wearily at him some days later, offering a low “thanks” and an “I’m glad you were here” that things had changed. Just a little.

It had almost felt like a redemption.

His hands still ache. Alfred had been idle for far too long now.

Making himself move, he opens the door.

She’s still in the same spot, back pressed against the bathroom door as she sits on the carpet. Pushing herself up when the door opens, when he coming in holding the small plastic grocery bag.

He can be there for her, now. His hands smoothing over her shoulders, cupping her cheek in his palm - still on edge but he thinks he’s got a handle on it.

“Do you want me to go in with you?” Alfred offers, and she smiles then, nose wrinkling.

“No. I can do that part myself.”

He wonders what she’s been thinking about. Hasn’t even asked her how she’s feeling, too caught up in his own worries. It makes his head duck, pressing his mouth gently to hers.

His brave girl. He’s not going anywhere. He’d never leave her. Would never dream of it.

He hopes she knows that, even if he can’t quite manage to say the words out loud.

“Will you wait with me when I’m done?” She asks, sounding more like herself when they pull apart.

“Of course, love.”

He’s so in love it hurts, and maybe that’s why it’s hard. Or maybe that’s why he’s been able to work through his emotions so quickly.

She’s softened him, since they’re met. Showed him things he’s never thought he’d have - things that he had thought about before, when he was younger, but had long given up.

And he can’t pretend, that sometimes… when he comes home from an errand, or from stepping away - seeing her curled on the couch, smiling and laughing as she watches a video on her phone with Dick - that there hasn’t been something.

A lurch in his chest, a wondering floods into his mind, that steals his breath. For just a moment.

One that doesn’t have to do anything with the fact that he’s glad they have her - that he is immensely grateful she gets what the young boy is talking about - because he certainly does not understand why you would watch a video of someone playing a game.

And although the pattern repeats through his head - worries of being far too old, of failing again, of not being good enough - there’s something else there now, small and bright.

Because, he already is a father. And part of him wonders, if he had her with him - if they did this together, then maybe…

But then the door opens, and he’s stepping in. It rests on the counter that she leans against it, face-down. He had bought the best that had available , although he knows they all worked the same. One that spelled out the words, so that they wouldn’t have to try to interpret the little blue lines.

Chewing on the inside of her lip as it closes behind him, as he moves to lean next to her. Their fingers finding each other, entwining tightly.

A moment, before she asks, “How are you feeling?”

He hates that she asked first, that she’s worrying about him. Wondering when he became so readable, over the weeks and months they’ve been together.

She seems unable to help adding, “I just- I know this isn’t what we’ve talked about, what we’ve planned-”

And then he’s softening more - turning her way, filling her line of sight, cupping her jaw and tilting it so that all she can see is him.

“We’ve been through so much, dove. And we’ve always figured it out.” Her face is warm in his hands, where she’s blinking up at him, “No matter what happens, no matter what we decide together, we’ll be okay. I promise.”

A breath, before he tells her again, and not for the last time.

“I love you and I always will. Nothing will ever change that.”

He wishes he understood the look that crosses her face, the tears that seem to spring to the corners of her eyes. And so, as she sniffs - he asks the same, “How are you feeling, darling?”

“Oh,” she breathes, with a small, shaky laugh, “Same, I think.”

A brief moment of relief, at last.

Together, they take a deep breath, leaning against each other for support. His thumb smoothing over his and they wait for the alarm she had set to sound.

And when it does, they flip it over - together.

Notes - And ah, you asked me if I’ve thought about it, and to be honest (and probably way too info, sorry!) one of the reasons Alfred appeals to me so much personally, is that I interpret his character as “older, reluctant father figure” + a disinterest in his own bio children. In the movie, when he mentions Bruce needed a father and all he had was him - I think that’s such an emotional part and has really stuck with me, and I really love the idea that even though he fails there and does not see himself as a father or a father figure, he would have a second chance helping Bruce become a good one as he adopts the future batfam.

But like I said, that hc/interpretation is fueled by my own self-interest!! I can absolutely see the appeal of the above + expanding his family in a way that he had never imagined for himself (purely because of his situation, maybe it’s a dream he felt like he had given up on) - that is a really such a beautiful thought. 💖

You were excited when Jay invited you on a trip him and a couple of his friends were going on. You had started seeing each other recently, but it was all very casual so you even hesitated to consider dating each other. Plus, half of the people around Jay thought you were just a friend.

On the day of the trip, you texted Jay, telling him how excited you were. You waited for his reply, but you never got one.

Unfortunately, you didn't run into him all day either. When you went to the kitchen of your Airbnb to get some water, you saw Jay's friend sitting there all by himself. You didn't remember Jay mentioning he would be coming along too.

It looked like everyone else was avoiding him all day long as well, and suddenly you felt sorry for the guy.

"What's your problem, huh? Don't like it when other people touch your toys?"

"You're not a toy!"

"We've been doing so well, why do you have to ruin it?"

"Then you shouldn't have invited me on this trip!"

"But I wanted you here! I just didn't know he would be here too."

"Why didn't you leave then? Or at least told him not to hit on you?"

"Whatever!" Jay scoffed, storming off, leaving you behind.

That night in your room you thought about leaving, thought about packing your bags and leave before anyone got up. You knew Jay was the jealous type and it would take time and convincing to get him to trust you, but you had no idea he was paranoid too.

The next morning, it was you who suggested to go to the beach for the day. At one point you went and sat next to Jay's friend, making sure that Jay was not only looking at you but was also within earshot.

"It's nice, isn't it?"

"Sure. I just thought that it would only be the two of us."

"I don't see you like that, I'm sorry! You must've realized that Jay and I have something going on. As his friend, you shouldn't try to steal his girl, but encourage him and have his back!"

You felt awful saying that, realizing that every conversation around you had died down, with everyone listening in on you.

Jay's friend nodded his head slowly before he got up and walked off.

"You happy?"

You spat at Jay before walking away in the opposite direction, hoping Jay would go after you to apologize.

🌿 - How does creating make you feel?

Accomplished (when I find the right line, or come up with just the plot twist I wanted, or when I complete a story I’ve put so much time and effort into)

Frustrated (when I can’t get the words to flow, when I go long periods without writing anything, or when I just don’t have the motivation or energy to write when I know I should)

It runs the whole gamut really, at one point or another, but what stands out most is how I feel without creating, which is grumpy, purposeless and bummed out. It may sound weird, but I know when it has been too long since I’ve been able to write. I get tense and short and I know that I haven’t been able to let those feelings out and deal with them - as I must somehow do (even if indirectly) when I write.

🍭 - Why did you start writing?

I hope this doesn’t sound like a cop out, but I can’t really pinpoint a definite “why” or even “when” I started writing. I just always have, as far back as I can remember. My family tells stories about how much I always liked books and wanted to be read to, and I do think being an avid reader goes hand in hand with good writing, but I can’t tell you exactly why the light switch clicked that said ‘let me give this a try myself’ I know I’ve done it for a long time. (I used to get so excited to go into my dad’s office after it closed and use his typewriter to make my little stories look all professional! 😆🤭) Anyway, I guess that’s my random way of saying I don’t really have a “why” for how I started, just that it’s a part of me at this point, I guess… 🤷🏼‍♀️

💝- What is a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

Ooh, this is a fun question…. I will say, it’s often an interesting surprise to find out which fics reach people and get more notice or feedback. Sometimes I just have a sense that one might go over pretty well, and then it does, but there have also been ones I have been very fond or proud of that don’t make much of a ripple at all. I think the first one that took me hugely by surprise though was a little two shot I wrote back during season three of the show. It was called “Under the Weather” and it was basically self-indulgent fluff with Emma taking care of a sick Killian and then actually admitting how she felt (which she wasn’t doing quickly enough to suit me at the time! 😜) I was really just having fun with it and didn’t think it was anything that exciting. But it got lots of lovely comments and likes, so much more than I usually did, which was thrilling and completely unexpected. That, or the one shot I wrote for the first @cssns event back in 2018 “Tasting Forever”. To this day, that is my fic with the most notes (by far!!) And at the time I struggled with it, despaired of it, and worried I would never get it right. Thankfully, I can look back on it much more favorably now, thanks to the generously unexpected response it brought.

Taking a sip from your glass, you continue on with the thought. "You asked me if he put me up to this. Why?"

Hongjoong shrugs, but answers the question plainly. "Because Seonghwa is from Nezher, and I have no way of knowing what that means for you in relation to him thus far."

His nonchalance in saying as much takes you aback just a bit, though the man had been clear initially about the need for abject sincerity throughout this meeting. You press forward.

"Then you know," you say, ample surprise evident in your voice. "He's dangerous with this power, you know."

"I've known since we met so many years ago. Wooyoung caught as much immediately. I know that foundationally, what you're wondering is why I allow him to stick around, but the answer isn't anything profound, nothing that may bring you any peace," Hongjoong says, leaning forward to cradle his chin into his palm as he looks upon you. "Men from Nezher are not inherently evil. I have a Cydonian man among my crew, as well, so you should know well enough that I am willing to put aside immediate judgments and allow for people to create their own future alongside me. Seonghwa pledged himself to me so many years ago, and I accepted as much. It's really as simple as that."

"And it has nothing to do with any intimacy shared between the two of you."

You don't say it as a question, and Hongjoong doesn't take it as much. Instead, he smiles, pressing himself back against his chair once again.

"So, you two have grown close."

"Don't change the subject."

"The two are deeply intertwined, though. I'm sure you can see as much," he replies firmly, perhaps some displeasure found in his tone at your knowing such a thing about him and not of his own divulgence. "Seonghwa and I sharing a bed in the past is far less of consequence than the other information expressed from you. If you wish to hear me say that much of the reason that I've insisted in keeping him close by my side is because I carry love for him, then I am very capable of admitting it. He has been with me for a very long time, it's only natural for that to be the case—"

Hongjoong finishes his glass of wine, setting it onto the table in front of you. It serves as a reminder that you've barely touched your own.

"But there's little, good reason for the two of you to have gotten close. Close enough for Seonghwa to tell you such things. It's ideal that we've gone into this evening with intention of being fully open and honest with each other, now isn't it?"

It feels a bit as though the man in front of you is partaking in a game that you don't remember having signed up for. Still, he is correct in his assessment, part of you disgruntled by how much information you've given him without intending to do as much.

"So, ultimately, the question is this," Hongjoong then starts again, eyes never leaving your own as he speaks. "Why is it that Seonghwa believes to have control, in spite of not having any of it, at all?"

Checkmate.

I wanted to say something earlier, but couldn't find the words, especially with how I am dealing with the end of my college school year, work, and move-out. I wanted to give my best thoughts in voicing my support.

You're in the same boat I was when I first joined Tumblr, yet far more interactive, which comes with its own responsibility and safety concerns. From what you've shared (and thank you for sharing, as you really didn't have to, but shows how mindful and proactive you are, which is more than most), you've been careful as can be from your end. You're aware of how old the demographic majority is, and the biases that will come with it (people automatically aging you up in their head), and are compassionate enough to want to curb making anyone uncomfortable.

I want to take the time and apologize if I have made you uncomfortable in any way, and will be going over any replies I have made that are inappropriate for a minor (In the midst of following more adult Shuri/Riri x Reader content). I was 15, obviously, and I know you're not a naive baby, but that's what should be done on my end. And honestly I bounce between so many BP tumblr pages I can't quite remember fully how I've interacted with you.

Over the past months I've grown a love for writing that I never thought I'd have. I've been a semi- writer since I was 12 but besides one random wattpad story that got some attention, I didn't really get all that into posting until last year.

I saw a situation with a minor who lied about their age a couple weeks back and for some reason my anxiety went sky-high; though I wasn't involved in that situation in any way and the person in question behaved with the fandom much differently than I do.

I realised that I genuinely want writing to be a big part of my future so the thought of misleading anyone and possibly tarnishing the trust I've build with others that have been so supportive made me decide to make things clear.

I'm very weary of the bad people, but I'm glad I have a few people on my side too.

Again, you've really done nothing wrong and neither has anyone else I've personally interacted with.

IMO, One Pace is better because it cuts a lot of anime filler and adjusts the abysmal pacing of the anime in the latter half of the show (it's getting better-ish with the 2 most recent arcs, but it's still pretty bad all things considered) to be closer to the manga. I think it's amazing and 100% worth checking out if you don't like filler or slow pacing that doesn't benefit the story. That said, there are some things I think the OG anime does better than One Pace despite all its benefits, so it's up to you, really.

Here are some differences I've noticed so far so you can decide which one you should check out for your first watch :)

One Pace is subs only, no dub. I haven't met anyone who has considered that a deal-breaker yet, but I figured it should be pointed out asap because you do not get a choice if you want to watch Pace.

Some of the filler in the OG anime is great! Most fans I've talked to will sing the praises of G-8, which is a short filler arc, but embodies the spirit of the show perfectly. It's actually what I show the people I want to get into the series because it's short and not main story stuff and so perfectly One Piece.

But not all of the filler is good or worth watching. And lately the OG anime has taken to drawing out scenes for padding instead of simply coming up with filler to let the manga get sufficiently ahead. It can be draining to watch a side character's surprised face still-frame slowly drag across the scene for the 1,000th time when you KNOW there's better things they can be spending that screen time on. Or yet another shot of characters aimlessly running down a hallway to pad time between scenes.

There are some cover stories that were adapted into the anime [not all of them, though!] that One Pace cuts down on bc it does not match up with the only-manga style of the edits. This can be a bit confusing as some cover stories are important to the plot/understanding where characters are and what they're doing in the world without it coming out of left field.

That said, you'd have to read some cover stories anyway regardless of which anime adaption you choose, because the OG anime did not adapt every cover story and some of them are pretty important. Definitely check out the cover page wiki no matter which anime version you decide to pick up. Just be wary of spoilers. You can DM me for links to the cover stories if you want :)

If you're worried about One Pace cutting story info, I've been watching it with my friend as his first time through in case there's info I need to add in, but it's been very faithful to the manga so far. I even got my foot in my mouth a few times by explaining that a scene was cut- only for said scene to have been moved a few episodes down to match up with the manga, not the anime.

One Pace cuts out all the lingering reaction shots and redundant flashback sequences. And the editing is phenomenal! There are some weird music jumps in the arcs that they edited in the beginning [Thriller Bark is one I remember there being a lot of noticeable music cuts, and that's one of the first arcs they edited], but it's really not as bad as some people make it out to be. Just sort of an 'oh that was a little noticeable. Anyway, moving on'. The important scenes are all very well done and the editing jumps you may notice will not detract from the heavy impact stuff.

If you're someone who likes to takes things slower by only watching 1-2 episodes a day or once in a while, it may be best to stick with the og anime. It has recaps at the start of every episode and frequent flashbacks so you can remember what's going on. One Piece is released once a week, so this makes sense for a more 'casual' watching experience. One Pace has no recaps, and some flashbacks are cut for being 'redundant' [those that are shown a handful of episodes after the scene happened- or even in the same episode, for padding purposes]. Normal and reasonable flashbacks are kept in though, so you don't have to worry about that.

One Pace also isn't fully completed yet. For example, if you watch from the start of the show, you'll need to switch back to the normal anime for the Baratie arc. They don't edit the arcs in order, instead they edit them in order of which has the worst issues regarding pacing and filler. It can be a little strange having to jump back and forth at the start, but each One Pace episode shows which anime episodes it covers in the title name, so it's not that bad. Plus, this absolute unit wrote up a guide on reddit for swapping between One Pace, the OG, and a seperate editing project known as One Piece Kai. One Piece Kai has hour+ long episodes and the editing is less smooth than One Pace, but it is great for getting through Alabasta & Skypeia.

Also, One Pace has covered the latter half of the show in its entirety, so once you hit Enies Lobby it is a straight shot to catching up to the anime using only One Pace, which is great because once you jump back and forth between Pace and the OG, the pacing differences are night and day.

Overwhelmingly I would recommend One Pace. But! It's also important to know what you're getting into with it, y'know? If you do decide to use it, I definitely recommend following that guide I linked and also watching G-8. And keep an eye on when you should read the cover stories :)

For reference, I've watched the entire OG anime in chunks over the years and One Pace up to Impel Down [currently watching through, it's been great]. During my first time through the OG anime, I stopped watching once 'the latter half' of the show hit and switched to manga-only due to the pacing being That Bad. I watched all the anime arcs eventually, but that initial pacing problem really put me off it for a while. Before I recommended One Pace to a newbie friend, I rewatched WCI using it and the pacing was like night and day. It is really an amazing project, it's very well done and he's enjoying the series a lot so far.

Also, also, if you're going to watch, I recommend blacklisting some of the op tags! I believe the popular spoiler tags are 'opspoilers', 'op spoilers', and 'One Piece spoilers'. People may also tag each chapter/episode release individually. I personally use an amalgamation of the popular spoiler tags plus my generic 'spoiler' tag and the series tags, with chapter tags if it's really big. There was a huge thing recently (is a year 'recently'? It is in one piece time haha) in the manga that is just everywhere online, and it's pretty massive spoilers :)

I’m really interested to know which team and charter will they keep? E.G. It could be the four car with a different team and driver.

That still leaves three Cup charters and drivers looking for new homes.

The thing in most concerned with is their upcoming decision on the Orange Menaces claim he has full immunity. Apparently some group of judges are leaning toward a limited set of immunities for the President. That seems insane to me, unless it only applies to Presidential duties. The Orange Dude didn’t commit his crimes as part of his official Presidential duties. They were the selfish acts of a cruel, narcissistic, rapist, felon.

Besides, the justices need to be really careful. If they give free rein to Presidents the Orange Dude may mysteriously disappear, and if Dark Brandon were behind it, well, wouldn’t that be something.

I know it’s pathetic of me to say stuff like that but at this point I’m hoping the guy just goes away never to be seen again. I don’t care how.

On Friday, even outside right-wing attorneys will be given time in the courtroom to argue that it was actually illegal for Smith to even bring the case.

I keep hoping the 11th Circuit will replace her. Regardless, Trump won’t see trial before the election so she will have achieved her goal.

I understand why Ricky and Gina shippers are convinced S3 will be a romantic exploration for their ship b/c so many of the newest sneak peeks may suggest this (and the fact they've been content starved since 2.06. I get it. I do😅). However, I can't stop thinking about this moment:

Do y'all see how happy and playful Ricky is with EJ here? If you told S1 EJ and Ricky they'd be having a pillow fight someday they would have laughed in your face!😂 I just love how far they've come from where they started on the show. I would never claim that Ricky and EJ are the best of friends, because I don't believe that to be true, but you can't deny that they certainly started to really become friends by S2, esp 2.10 when Ricky tried to be there for EJ by helping him solve his problem. EJ seems to be wearing the same jacket from the trailer when he and Gina have what looks like another heart to heart (where he says he's "freaking out"). I believe that's 3.03, where Ricky and Gina go on a “spooky adventure” (or something like that). The very fact that Ricky is behaving this playfully with someone who he used to consider an enemy is major. In S1, Ricky very obviously tried to put a wedge between Nini and EJ b/c he wanted Ejini to break up so that he could get back t/g with her. Two seasons later, and what looks like could be the most fun he's had in a long time, I get the feeling Ricky isn't gonna try to cause intentional drama for Portwell. I actually think the fictional Corbin Bleu's character is going to cause more intentional drama this season for the Wildcats, including PW in 3.04/3.05 (I think those are the episodes):

Do you see how satisfied Corbin looks at whatever drama is unfolding? I think he really wants his documentary to be juicy and drama-filled, hence Ricky seemingly storming off out of rehearsals, and EJ following after him while Ashlyn looks worried about what she's seeing. Channing is clearly following all the drama with his camera, which makes me think Corbin intentionally pushed some buttons for Gina, EJ, and Ricky, but again, it's not Ricky intentionally trying to come between PW. I think this scene may follow the above:

You see how EJ initially looks happy as he approaches Ricky, then his smile drops when he sees Gicky playing around with that paper? I think it's possible he walked out after Ricky to try to comfort him after some drama Corbin started, but then he sees this scene play out in front of him, and maybe something (an insecurity, for example🤔) Corbin touched on earlier in the rehearsal space affects EJ in this moment. I think this might be Ricky just continuing to have fun during his summer, not trying to cause problems b/t PW. He and Gina are friends again, which puts them in a good place (which I was hoping for after S2😔). This might be Ricky just having fun with his friends, like with EJ in that pillow fight LOL 🤣but EJ misinterprets what he sees. Again, his girlfriend and the guy she used to have feelings for are playing romantic leads. EJ might be afraid history will repeat itself, but I doubt it. I feel S3 will have a diff outcome...*cough cough* Portwell Love Confession *cough cough*😉

Also, let’s stop acting like EJ will do anything to ruin his relationship with Gina (jealousy rising or otherwise). 🤦🏽‍♀️Did we forget what Gina said about him in 2.08? Let me remind you:

Y'all really going to tell me this don't sound like foreshadowing for their journey in S3? Just like Mitchie in Camp Rock 2 and Troy in HSM2, I guarantee you EJ will lose sight of what's really important to him for a bit, before coming back around at the end of the season by doing what's right and remembering his priorities (like his promise for this to be the "best summer ever" in 3.01)). Mitchie and Troy made similar promises at the beginning of their summers to Shane and Gabriella, before conflict rises mid way, then settles/gets resolved again by the end of their summers. That’s my prediction anyway. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I do think everyone who’s already judging these characters based on their future actions in the book should probably remember that we have no idea how it’s all going to play out in the show because the books are deliberately written as skewed history that may be inaccurate at best and total fiction at worst. George has said that the show events are what ‘really’ happened. I don’t doubt Daemon loves Rhaenyra, but frankly in episode 1 him and Otto *were* depicted as groomers exploiting the girls. The editing of the necklace scene was blatantly to make the audience think ‘creepy’ and there’s not any other way to take ‘wear one of your mother’s dresses to comfort the king’ other than pimping his daughter

Can't see how the show is supposed to be the absolute canon, when we already have huge changes from the books and time alterations that give me headaches. The book being written by a biased source is the main reason why I'm being so against the Greens and lean more towards the Blacks. By now I've must have written twelve or so posts about it.

10 Anti LO Asks

1. Sometimes I feel bad about the rage I feel about LO because like, bad works really should be allowed to exist. It's fine to turn off your brain for Fast and Furious or get horny over 50 Shades. The problem I have is LO's fake deep lessons it gives, pushing toward the WRONG direction. I'd be far less annoyed if it was just another trashy romance. Hades would have been fine as a shit guy; people love getting hot for fictional villains. This "aktchually he's the good guy" angle is embarrassing.

2. LO fans are more than happy to imagine the gods are neon pink and blue but at the same time get offended you fancast the actual gods as anything but blonde, blue eyed white people to be "accurate". even LO fan casts are overwhelming white people (and never greek, mind you) unless it's a villain like apollo or minthe, then they just HAPPEN to be black 🤔🤨

3. assuming the PJO Disney+ show is good and gets more seasons, just get ready for LO fans to try and review bomb it and harass the crew/cast because they'll see a popular series they already hate be mythology accurate with HxP and even show Hades would leave her to be with (gasp) a mortal instead. Apollo is even shown positively in it too!

4. The idea massive age gaps are "normal" IRL is a huge lie. It's basic statistics that most couples are within 2-5 years of each other's ages, while much older partners is a HUGE abnormally. Going off RS's ages for them (19/20 vs 40s mentally) that's barely 1% of the population, with divorce rates being HIGHER for these couples than closer in age ones. Just because old rock stars, actors, and businessmen marry women who can be their daughters' ages does not make it the norm, far from it actually.

5. RS claims she's "fighting against the toxic nature of purity culture" as if the FIRST EPISODE didn't set up the Madonna/Whore trope in Persephone and Minthe. Even them being with men that aren't Hades is framed this way. Persephone is still the pure heroine who was assaulted, she'd never willingly sleep with anyone who isn't her eventual husband! Meanwhile Minthe is the cheating whore though Hades also cheats on her and they're not exclusive. RS just lies so casually about what she depicts.

6. Ive LO fans say the Trojans deserved to be killed because they're "the bad guys" to the Greeks and bc Apollo is their patron god like?? Really?? The countless innocent men, women, and children deserved to DIE because of your shitty understanding of mythology and you not being able to tell Rachel's bad depictions apart from the actual gods? Did they read about Hektor's baby son being murdered and think he deserved it because Apollo may have liked him? These people are so gross.

And some chapters later we learn it's perfectly normal for gods to be naked around each other even if they are underage? Sometimes I compare her monochrome art, and the art her team colors off her sketches, and in my opinion LO would look better in black and white color scheme with some details in color! But that wouldn't work very well the color shading is inconsistent and would not look good!

9. i feel like LO fans are the same people who watched Labyrinth and got mad the MC didn't want to be with the Goblin King because they ignore the fact she was a sixteen year old girl who got over the initial desire for an older man praising her to instead see he was manipulating her and he was, duh, the villain of the movie. Like guys, there's a reason "older powerful man chases and lusts after an impressionable young girl/woman" both in fiction and in real life is seen as a BAD thing.
