for those of you who don't know, about a week and a half ago, i posted convergence, my first fanfiction. i did a poll a while back in which the prompt "quantum entanglement" won, but the fic seemed to take a mind of its own and i felt that name was no longer fitting; thus, convergence was born. it's my take on how ii and vessel might have met. i hope everyone enjoys 🩶

kunichuu...... we been knew. also ela/grace mentioning that there's no clothes sharing fics in the souheki tag is criminal. i love clothes sharing

🍍 What kind of AUs do you like? Are there any AUs you hate or just generally have beef with?

ooo i love soulmate aus!! i think they're so versatile and there are so many spins on it too (e.g. not being soulmates but choosing each other anyway, platonic soulmates, multiple soulmates). it is GREAT i don't think i hate any AU? wait okay i dont like when characters are suddenly cops kshdhd. i could work with office romance but not like that

🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics? Multichaptered works or single ones? Why?

idk what counts as long here. i think most of my fics are 3-10k range? and usually oneshots cause unfortunately im terrible at planning multichap stuff. i rather throw out a 20k oneshot than break it up into 4 5k chapters kfhskh. it feels like more work if i break it up 😭

7 Your favourite ao3 tag.

it's hurt/comfort. are we surprised? no. we are not. sometimes it is used rather sparingly given that I've found that content in fics not tagged as such. I wish some people wouldn't given up on tagging their fics because it really is so helpful.

21 Can you accurately predict how long your fics are going to be? If you can, what's your secret?

either it's a oneshot that I know it's going to stay a oneshot in which case I do not not, or it's a multichap and once I write the first chapter, I do know roughly how long it could be. it's not a certainty, but I know it'll be at least x number of words long. for Heartbeat, the first chapter was I think 1400ish words, and I tend to move up in word counts, so I knew the final thing would be at least 5K if not 6 or 7. it ended up getting an epilogue thanks to good response and once I edited it, it now sits at 8300 words.

the fic I just wrote only had a thousand words in the first chapter, so I knew it would have about that for each chapter I felt like adding, which were all extras. it's 4800 words now. with fics, I typically know where I'm going and the steps to get there, but now how long I'll make the journey.

Nighthawk

So thank you guys so much for all your feedback when i asked about a multichap for Nighthawk. I didn't expect so many replies and omg ;O; it made me really excited to set my plans in motion.

I figured I'd let you guys in on what I have planned since so many reached out !

I dont know how many chapters it will be yet, but knowing me it'll probably be quite long. The plan is to write the fic in its entirety before posting anything, splitting the text into 5k word chapters, and then doing 4-5 aniamtions per chapter. (I TRIED TO STOP MYSELF OKAY THERES JUST SO MANY PRETTY THINGS I NEED TO ANIMATE IT HAH)

As i finish the animations for each chapter, they'll be posted here and on AO3. Since it'll be a long fic it'll be some time before you see the first chapter, but know I'm on it ! And very excited UuU
