I have seen in the warnings content: toxic relationships. What are the ROs that are really toxic? Can you explain what they look like?

It's targeted at the MC's parents very turblous relationship. It shocked everybody when it was discover they were soulmates due to how different they were and the hatred between the two. They were forced together due to societal standards and having to stick it out unless they wanted draw the ire of their community. It ended up creating a toxic home life for their children, MC and their younger sibling, as they constantly argue over how horrible their lives are and blaming the other for their troubles.

Some of the ROs can be toxic depending on certain choices.

The main ones are C and Kahula due to how detach they are from the concept of love and emotional intimacy, which could be more exaggerated if they are encourage to continued with that behavior in their relationships.

Avery/Suman is a switch in terms of flags. They are helpful and genuinely kind person who wants to help but they can become too controlling if they believe that it would benefit their partner or if their partner becomes too dependent on them.

Jean/Jeanne and Vincent/Vincenta are more complicated in terms of relationships. They are very devoted and loyal but are insecure about the relationship lasting. So they will start to pull away if they feel it is best for all parties or if their partner doesn't show as much interest in them.

Leandro/Leandra never speaks of their true feelings since they want what is best for their loved ones. They ignore what they actually want to better their partner until eventually they just break from all of the internal stress and pressure. This break will end with a big blow out with both parties seprated and in pain.

Brendan/Brenda is a christmas flag due to their kind and dilpomatic behavior. They don't like conflict at all and will comprise to make sure everybody is happy. What causes problems is their toxic optitism. They try to push conflicts under the rug to not make waves and keep everything smooth.

Myrtus/Myrtle is an odd case due to their past history with soulmates. They emotionally shut themselves off as the event was very traumatic for them especially since they have to see that reminder every day. They act like they don't care but hope for somebody to just see them and be that perfect person. Which could lead to a lot of miscommunication and resentment on both sides.

Does each roommates group have their own house rules? Like Jake and the Davids will have a different set of house rule than Donnie and Louis? Robert/Ennis and Colter/Jeff are probably quite relaxed about theirs? Jamie and Edward have rules that mostly apply to Jamie? Morf & Quentin's house rules are just down right ridiculous and petty?

lol I wrote up house rules for some of them so this is the first part of the JGCU House Rules, I’ll do the rest of them some other time on a different post if someone requests haha

Loki, David and Jake

1) Family dinner at least once a week, taking turns cooking

2) Loki can’t only eat bakery food every day and must have at least one real meal per day

3) David has to tell us when he has a panic attack and say if he feels anxious so that we can help

4) Jake has to update us regularly on the Y/N situation Jake and Y/N must not have sex during the day

5) David and Loki have to get at least some sleep every night (I’ll know!)

6) Loki needs to stop threatening Lou’s life

7) Loki and David need to stop consuming unhealthy amounts of coffee

1) Morf is no longer allowed to talk to girls that Quentin likes as he will criticise her clothes

1) Jamie must not walk around naked with others at home

2) Jamie must not throw parties without first asking Edward

3) Jamie must stop watching Bake Off the day before Edward when Edward has a late lecture that night so that he can use it as blackmail

4) Jamie must get rid of his own one-night stands before going to lectures

5) Jamie must close the door when he is with a one night stand

6) Jamie must never take his one night stand into Edward’s room “for a change of scenery”

7) Jamie is limited to playing the Avenger’s theme when he walks into a room to ten times a week

8) Jamie must stop telling the neighbours it’s Edward who watches High School Musical at full volume at three in the morning

10) Edward must stop making rules or Jamie won’t help next time Edward looses his key

Donnie and Louis

1) Donnie needs to stop introducing Lou as a “creepy coyote-type thing”

2) Donnie needs to stop making Lou watch Romcoms

3) Lou needs to stop watching serial killer documentaries at two in the morning and instead watch more romcoms

4) Lou needs to stop talking to Jamie’s one night stands

5) Lou needs to stop following Loki to his classes and just face that Loki doesn’t like him

6) Donnie and Robert need to stop making Lou watch Disney films as “a hangover cure”

7) Lou needs to start drinking on nights out

8) Donnie needs to stop offering Jack Lou’s bed to sleep in

9) Lou needs to stop sending photos of Robert and Donnie sharing a bed onto the group chat

10) Donnie needs to stop using Lou’s phone for his alarms
