Also something to note about vehicon m/n, is that Silas was convinced m/n was actually dead due to him not being able to locate m/n but when M.E.C.H. made the fake Optimus prime in that one episode, m/n wanted to help even a little bit and bumblebee feeling bad that m/n is basically cooped up in the base 24/7, he snuck m/n out for a while and just had m/n hide so he didn't get hurt but then through the cameras in the false Optimus, Silas saw vehicon m/n and basically wanted to bring m/n back to M.E.C.H. to do more experiments and basically see if he could make m/n a powerful weapon that he could control but never did as that was as close as Silas would ever get to m/n.

also after the surgery of being put into the vehicon body the only reason m/n was able to escape was because soundwave located m/n through his phone and got into M.E.C.H.'s cameras and well...he knows and saw what happened and was able to opened the doors and give m/n enough time to get out. Soundwave never told a soul and when ever m/n is on the decepticon war ship, he always keeps one screen of the security cameras on m/n or just have m/n near him to make sure nothing bad happens to m/n on his watch.

Anyways sorry for the yapping session but also during m/n's birthdays, agent fowler is able to let m/n be at his parents house to have the small birthday for him even if he can't eat the cake (he can its just that he didn't know if till mess up his stomach but he hasn't asked ratchet or knockout yet) he just wants to be by his family side even if for short amount of times.

Please tell me more about Zombie Optimus! :D

How long does it take the Team (Ratchet) to figure out what exactly is going?

How much does Miko freak out once she realises that Optimus is a Zombie now? I think her reaction would be similar to her reaction to Optiratch fighting Megatron‘s undead Cybertronians in one of the first episodes but even more intense.

How does the rest of the Team react? Is there someone who struggles to accept Optimus‘ new zombieness more than the others?

I personally think that Ultra Magnus would probably have a hard time with it. Although he only comes in later. Maybe June and/or Fowler?

Ratchet and Bee on the other hand, would probably accept it the fastest (after Miko) because they are already very devoted to Optimus.

When do Optiratch officially become an item? Does the rest of the team have to set them up or do they get there themselves?

Does it majorly affect any of the later events - i.e. Optimus sacrificing himself at the end of season 2: is that or more less dangerous for Zombie Optimus?

And literally anything else that comes to your mind. I find this idea super fascinating!

Hi!! And no this isn’t too much I LOVE yapping!

1st Q: as soon as Optimus sits up off the operation table and seems to have miraculously recovered, even as all his monitors flatlined, it was immediately obvious that something was wrong. Ratchet shunned everyone and did a full examination, discovering quite a lot. Not knowing how to how to handle this, he insists Optimus stay in quarantine, but part of the virus is increased energy and sense of ‘euphoria’ so he doesn’t stay put for long. All of them are quick to catch on that there’s something wrong. Though exactly WHAT takes until their next battle to figure out, as everything clicks when he cannibalizes a con-soldier.

2. Miko thinks it’s the COOLEST SHIT EVER. She’s disappointed she can’t witness some of the carnage herself though, Bulkhead is determined not to let her see something horrific.

3. Most of them are deeply unsettled and think that because his spark went out, he’s somehow not the same person any more. (Bee never doubted him for a second, it was more the others) It takes a full two episodes to completely reassure everybody that none of this means he’s gone, he’s still himself despite drastic personality/physical changes.

4. Ultra Magnus and Smokescreen have it harder. Ultra Magnus knew Optimus from before the war, so Prime feels pressured to try and feel recognizable to him. It fails miserably as he feels like he’s acting out a horrible parody of the person he once was. Smokescreen on the other hand is unfortunate to almost immediately witness his hero and idol tearing into the troops that came to retrieve his escape pod. He’s not even remotely as much a ‘compassionate wise and noble’ leader as he was told.

5. Ratchet is having problems with Prime’s condition for a multitude of reasons. He’s quicker to make decisions and resort to violence, he’s expressive, he’s more open about how he’s feeling and that unfortunately was something he was’nt ready for. They have a steady thing that never needed too many words, especially since it wasn’t important and even got in the way of war. Now he’s seemingly thrown caution to the wind and there’s emotional turmoil. Bulkhead is sort of pushing ratchet to try and do a little more reflection on his own feelings.

6. Yes this majorly effects the plot. One of the biggest characters effected is actually vehicons, now feeling more disposable than ever. Dying in battle is one thing, being eaten alive is another.

Dark energon can create its own class of zombies, but that’s all yesterday news to Megatron now, bearing witness to a FULLY SENTIENT zombie. Can you imagine what he’d do to get his hands on that kind of power?

Of cons to be infected, a single clone may have been the first but he’s not a big problem. When Soundwave is bitten in the fray of battle, he’s desperate to keep the problem to himself as not to affect their already panicked forces. However it is proving to be a problematic virus to keep a secret.

There’s quite a few side plots, it later derails some of the storylines. SoundWave undergoes devastating angst, the autobots have a way less depressing time, and have way more familial bonding WITHOUT a good portion of the souls crushing trauma.

Facts in my Tfp prime au called "Secretly Frenemies"

•the jasper trio got hit with the fanfiction canon divergence and instantly got a growth spurt, RazorEzquivel(Raf) height reaches to megs shoulder,CrimSonJaeger(Jack) is 4 centimetres taller than meg,Microzus(Miko) is 2 centimetres taller Crimson but its hard to tell

•Microzus gets mistaken for a mech Alot because in this au her build is more Mech like so people mostly assume she's A mech instead of a femme,they wouldn't really care if they knew tho because screw gender rules

•RazorEzquivel's design is very similar to G1 SoundWave minus the face plate and speakers

•Microzus wears the Cybertronion equivalent of makeup to look more mature except she's terrible at it(smudged lipstick,smudged eyeliner,I think that's all she would wear,of course knockout can't bare to see this and helps her do it)

•Micro and Crimson are friends with benefits

•they play out an event that would make a big impact,Razor's left eye has been malfunctioning so he needs to get it surgically removed,Microzus suggests she "punches" it Infront of the whole battlefield dramatically,she would then "banish" him from the decepticons,Crimson plays along because he could really use some help with coding,Razor plays along becuz hes tired of starscreams bs,after the event Crimson lets Razor "join" the autobots,Ratchet notices Razors eye malfunction and starts yapping bout it(similar to how someone would point out something obvious)

•Crimson would randomly drop lore,he would say sht like"yknow,before my name was CrimSonJaeger",he would then proceed to show the autobots pictures of the trio before the war while yapping,1 of them includes MicDrop hugging CrackerJack while HackRate sits on her shoukders,most of the pictures are the old trio just being happy,Optimus feels pity for Crimson and proceeds to tell him about his backstory with Megatron,Crimson is like:oh sht i guess I'm a fraud now,Ops is glad he can relate with someone

•Microzus's colours are more purpleish and very dark pink because she wants to be respected seen as mature and thinks the pink makes her look unprofessional childish (ignore how this is out of character,she would totally not gaf and be bright pink)

•the cybertronion population is still good in this au because I love it when there are lots of characters,this translates to cliffjumper,breakdown,anyone else that dies in the series,doesn't die

•im not sure if I want this au to take place on earth or cybertron but I think it would make more sense on cybertron because humans don't play a big part in this au

•tge au ends when Cybertron is almost in shambles leading to Both decepticons and autobots having nothing else to fight for,in an effort to make things better again Microzus and Crimson both agree to stop the war that they have been playing with.

•the trio can only bite their tongue knowing all the lives that were sacrificed are probably rolling in their graves because their sacrifices were useless

•they make a cybertronion equivalent of declaration of independence stuff,the war is over, cybertron is currently being restored,the autobots and decepticons who loved mechs/femmes on rival sides are now Conjuixes and they all live happily ever after

Betty isn't really one to get to know the other bots. Sense she is scared that team prime might have someone that would reconize her and shame her. She wasn't really looking for drama so to still be a team player, She normally does a lot of solo missions, or when she can, she drops off Energon she scooted and found.

Betty tends to avoid being at their base too long. Of course, the kids see Betty every now and then. Unfortunately, she can't really hide from the kids. Betty has Met Bumble Bee once. He gave her stares. She deserved them. She could never really look Bee in the eyes or any of the bots in the eyes. She just can't.

The kids talk about the stories and lessons Betty told them, the crew ((aside, bee)) belives the kids are crazy or just making stuff up about "betty" bc they don't know a Betty. Then, on days when it's just Ratchet, Betty stops by, and he tells her the newest scoop of things. She loves hearing about the bots and the kids.

Her and Ratchet would talk and talk about their day and even help each other out. Only Ratchet really knows of Her. They talk on occasions. She has grown fond of Ratchet and, of course, Prime

She can't help but relive the past with them both. When she is there with them, it feels like the times when Optimus was nothing more than Orion Pax. She sees Orion. Not Optimus, and that's where it hurts her the most. She not only betrayed her own planet but also friends. She betrayed everyone. She can't seem to understand how they can give her a second chance when she has caused so much harm. She knows they have to feel some sort of anger somehow. She just does. She can live with that. Her main goal is to protect humans, and if that means to lay her life down for them to make up all those times, she has killed her own fallen friends and family, then she will gladly join the Allspark.

See in my own little AU (that Im just dubbing White Pointer for now), cybertronians have ✨species✨or moreso races I guess. You have the Flyers and the Grounders.

Flyers consist of cybertronians born with wings and are split up into two subspecies, aerials (propeller havers, choppers, etc etc) and seekers (strictly jets only). Seekers are the only Flyers that have retractable claws and a wicked bite force, and they’re actually born with the colors they have, no paint jobs here.

Grounders would be split up into more subspecies, Rigs (optimus/orion, sentinel, ultra magnus, yk what Im saying), Tanks (megatron/D-16, tarn, fortress maximus, alpha trion) and Racers (hot rod, ratchet, bumblebee, cliffjumper, arcee, elita, your average cybertronian)

Rigs were a more privileged type of cybertronian before the war, think middle and upper class. They like seekers were born with their colors. What separates them from tanks and racers is their size and their fins on their heads (the things optimus has the little pointy thingies yk). They dwarf racers in size but are shorter than tanks. Rigs usually transform into—rigs. trucks. yk

Tanks were not as privileged as Rigs, far from it. Because of their naturally hefty and strong nature, they were strictly to work mines (hence why Dee’s a miner, he’s young but you best believe he’s tough). Also they have claws, too, but cant retract like a seeker’s and are shorter, tee hee. Tanks often have muter and duller colors—usually just one color throughout. This is because they were never allowed to have bright and lavish color choices. A tank with more than two shades of color was one that must have been very wealthy. Alpha Trion was very fortunate to be brought up in a wealthier tank family and actually climbed the latter to primedom, he was one of the few who actually deserved it and wasn’t given it out of privilege (unlike sentinel he’s a total rich prick in my AU)

Racers are seen in every class, low middle and high. Out of prejudice, the elites actually allow the lower class racers to have bright and flashy colors like their middle and upper class brethren to spite the tanks and to remind them their place in the economy. Racers are speedy little guys and are the shortest of the grounders (excluding minicons ofc). Racers are usually the grounders that can have many different abilities (blurr’s speed, rodimus’ flames, bumblebee’s ability to yap your ear off /j)

anyway back to seekers, so (heavily) before the war and somewhat during, seekers were seen and used as trophies for elite citizens and families. Their wings, intricate colors and patterns made them desireable as decoration and arm candy (the femmes got the worst of this injustice, you can only imagine). It was common, albeit enforced, misconception that seekers were lesser than grounders and that they were more feral—hence the retractable claws and powerful bite—therefore less “cybertronian”. They would “brainwash” seekers into believing they needed grounders or they wouldn’t be happy.

D-16, after his revolution, recognized this injustice (half genuinely empathizing, half seeing the military upper hand of having flying death machines as soldiers) and decided to play on their suffering to recruit their entire race against the elites, to join the decepticon cause. He orchestrated the fall of Vos, blamed it on the autobots, telling the seekers that the autobots destroyed their home in order to oppress them. They bought it and 98% of the seekers joined the cons (hence why you see thousands upon thousands of decepticon seekers and like—zero autobot seekers). D-16, now megatron, pulled off the scheme with Starscream, one of the rare privileged seekers who wasn’t treated as a trophy. Starscream showed him all the critical places in Vos to hit in exchange for power, Megs happily obliged (he wasn’t traitorous during this time so they were chill).

But yeah that’s my little reason why there’s tons of seekers on the decepticon’s side. Oppressed species/race “liberated” by the to-be dictator, joining his cause in a desperate attempt at autonomy and as vengeance against the autobots (who they believed sided with the elites who brainwashed them and made them less than)

Pride headcanons: S/O that is questioning

Optimus - He tries researching with them and Sari in between missions and free time, but has a hard time separating the different terms. Is very supportive and takes special care in paying attention to what his S/O says.

Ratchet - He researches things with Sari and on his own, so he can talk with his S/O and see what they’d be comfortable with trying. Is reassuring and gentle to them and yaps at anyone who makes mistakes/hurtful comments aimed at his S/O.

Bumblebee - Is excited for them and helps make them feel pumped and excited about their search. He's quick to adapt when they want to try a new name and/or pronouns, or a new look.

Bulkhead - He gives his thoughts and suggestions when they explain some terms for identities/sexualities, based on what he’s seen of them. He has an eye for details, and let’s his S/O know that they are loved no matter what they discover about themself.

Prowl - He's very supportive and wants his S/O to feel good and comfortable with who they are. So he does research as well as

Jazz - He is supportive, but tells his S/O that they don't have to rush into figuring it out right away. He is also really good at taking in information and using it, so he's good with keeping up with his S/O's research.

Sentinel - He understands the need to know where his S/O stands, but is baffled that they don’t have it figured out already. Is frustrated alongside them and doesn’t do research with them, because the information is confusing and he’s got important things to do. Not more important than his S/O, he lets them know that, but he IS leader of the Elite Guard and that comes with responsibilities. Is going to be insufferable to anyone who so much as looks at his S/O weird.

Jettwins - Individuality is not something celebrated on Cybertron, so they are very excited about their S/O figuring themself out, and absolutely want to learn alongside them.

Arcee - Offers support and lots of love and reading materials. Makes the discovering of different identities and sexualities and anything her S/O wants to know about the community in general fun, and always reminds them that there is no rush or need to feel pressured to stick with a label if they find out it doesn’t quite fit.

Blurr - He has the info that is relevant to his S/O saved and stored away so he can offer suggestions to his S/O on where to start looking if they don’t know what exactly they are curious about/only know they are different somehow.

Imagine Tfa Rodimus Having A Crush On The Human Assigned To Him

(A/N: Aaaaaw, thank you!! Also, I hope this is okay! I tried doing tfa Rodi as best as I could, but it was a real struggle since I kept falling back on mtmte Rodi instead! :< )

"Rodimus is this such a good idea? What if you miss?!"

"If you keep yapping and fidgeting then I will miss!"

Bumblebee gulped, but nonetheless willed his nervous, yet excited frame to freeze in place as a sharp, glowing arrow was aimed towards the can atop his helm. Rodimus Prime, having locked on target, smirked before closing his optics. There was no denying Rodimus sharp shooter skills, so when Bumblebee, a fast friend when he came to Earth, made a bet that he couldn't shoot an oil can off his helm with his optics off line, Rodimus had to take it. With warm thoughts of the energon candies Bee had wagered settling within his processor, Rodimus set his fingers to loosen their grip.

"Hey guys, what'ch y'all doin?!"

The arrow went flying through the air with a zhoop, nearly piercing through a screaming Bee's face if he hadn't managed to duck in time.

"(y-y,n)!!"

You grinned up to the flame decorated bot before you, completely oblivious to the kick up of some vents.

"What the hell man?!", Bumblebee snapped, jumping up from his place on the ground. Ignoring the furious scout, Rodimus cleared his intake and puffed out his chest trying to play cool.

"I-uh, didn't see you there. What brings you around base?", Rodimus inquired with a smirk and leaned his elbow atop some oil barrels.

Closing his intake, Bumblebee's optics narrowed as he eyes the Prime suspiciously.

"Oh well, I gotta drop off some of Sari's stuff she forgot during our sleep over. Also~,", you drawled, shifting the bag of Sari's clothes and other things on your shoulder.

Rodimus optics glistened with intrigue, sitting up from his chilled posture in interest.

"Also?"

"Well, seeing as I'm your assigned Earth person, Optimus had asked me to show you the more rural parts of Detroit."

Rodimus felt his spark become light. Was this perhaps, a date?!

"It'll be great, just me, you, nature-"

He couldn't believe his audials! A drive along with just the two of you? Out in an area with nobody else around? A perfect opportunity for him to lay out the ol Rodimus char-

"Oh! And Prowl, too! He's going to be an excellent nature guide!"

The young Prime's face had never faltered so fast in his life. He was quick to straighten it though, not wanting to show his disappointment in front of you. If it were someone else, he would let them know his disagreement with no shame, but with you, he was careful and thought about what would leave his mouth before allowing it.

"That-", Rodimus coughed again, this time to fix his tone," That would be great!"

You quirked a brow, head tilting to the left, and corner of your lips quirking to the side, something that Rodimus found his spark fluttering at for but a moment.

"Uhm, if you're not feeling well, we don't have to go. There's always another time. Prowl and I could go-"

"N-no! I-I mean, uhm, I'm fine! Just some dust from the factory got caught up in my systems!"

"Oh! Well, maybe Ratchet could take a look. I don't know much about how y'alls bodies work and stuff, but that can't be good for you."

You were just such an angel. Your concern for his health made him feel so light an warm, that if he didn't know the reason as to why he felt this way, he would go see a medic about it. Bumping his chest with a fist, Rodimus winked down to you.

"Nah, a little dust ain't nothin' to me!"

You smiled, eyes crinkling at the corners and dimples as adorable as ever, causing Rodimus to nearly lose his striking pose in favor of fawning over you.

"Well, if you're sure you'll be good, then I'll go give Sari her stuff real quick and grab Prowl. I won't be long!"

Rodimus saluted you, letting you know to take your time as you ran off into the base. Once you were completely gone from view, Rodimus had let out a dreamy sigh, having completely forgotten that he wasn't entirely alone.

"Ugh, what was that?", Bumblebee fake gagged, causing Rodimus to nearly tumble off the oil barrel.

"That's not human flirting, or Cybertronian flirting. In fact I have no idea what that was!"

Rodimus glared daggers at the younger bot who only smirked back at him.

"Tell no one of this!", Rodimus gritted through his denta.

Bumblebee scoffed, walking up to the other mech.

"Why would I tell others about a complete fail at wooing (y,n) you did?"

Rodimus growled, resulting in Bumblebee waving his servos before him with a laugh and a promise not to.

"Seriously though, Rodimus. I've never seen you like this before. What happened to all that bravado?!"

Rodimus sighed, walking over to some crates, and leaning back against them to stare up at the sky.

"I don't know, man. I've never had a problem hitting it up with people back on Cybertron. At first I thought it was because they were human, but I've never had any problems playfully flirting with other humans either. It's just. . .something about (y,n) that makes my spark stutter and feel so high. I can't explain it properly, but what I feel for them is way different and more real then anything I've felt before."

Bumblebee stared at his friend, arms crossed, and fingers tapping against his plating. With a big sigh he walked over beside Rodimus, the later peeking over in slight interest.

"Books. . ."

"Uhm. . .sorry?"

"Books. (y,n), likes books. I'm talking big, thick books that would give us a headache just looking at. Usually likes the scifi, or mystery genres.", Bumblebee explained.

Rodimus sat up, optics ridges furrowed in heavy confusion.

"Okay, but why are you-"

"Humans and Cybertronians aren't all that different. If you get (y,n) a gift they’ll greatly appreciate it."

Rodimus looked to the side in thought, only to turn back and eye Bee suspiciously.

"Why are you telling me all this?"

Bumblebee only smirked, hoping up from his spot and transforming.

"I may talk a lot, but that doesn't mean I can't keep secrets."

Rodimus mouthed confused, before a theory had hit him. Did Bumblebee know something he didn't? More so did the yellow bot know something about (y,n) concerning him?!

"Bumblebee, wait, are you telling me that-"

"Sorry! Can't hear you over my engines!!", Bumblebee shouted before revving off at high speeds.

Rodimus was ready to chase after him, but didn't get the chance when you had suddenly called his name beside Prowl, ready to go, and once again causing him to turn to jello.
