Ten years ago (can you believe it), @ophexis found the courage to send a stranger on the internet an ask, and thanks to that, I am now a best friend, a family member richer.

Hi! I'm @ophexis/@phexart and I decided to try out starting a sideblog dedicated to swtor! I want to post my OCs, maybe their stories, screenshots and whatever i feel like.

I'm still working on the blog theme and on a character page...just waiting for support to get back to me! My swtor art (mostly just shitposts so far really orz) will still be posted on my art blog but I'll probably reblog them here.

Not sure *how* much I'll be posting, but it'll be nice to just have a place to put my OCs casually.

My main is Kenth Olen on Star Forge! I play solo but if you've ever witnessed me getting stuck in a bunch of rocks on Alderaan while trying to climb a cliff, know that I am waving at you happily and also hoping you did not notice me getting stuck in scenery.

I am amused because of the Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor games - at least in my circles, a Star Wars character named "Cal" who calls his companion "Buddy" has been taken since before those games came out. But then again - EA probably didn't know about the Star Wars RPG campaign I was playing in 2018 with @tenander and @ophexis

@ophexis started posting updates about excercising and I think that's a great idea. I need to start taking care of my creaking joints too, because I've neglected myself for years. So I wanna post updates too! Today I focused on strength reps t9 the shoulder blades area, cause it's been the achiest today.

4.Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

It was more like multiple things, mostly witnessing the aftermath of his attacks, and the way leaders discussed among themselves, and thinking about the morality of what he was doing. He was already incredibly conflicted but then on his last mission he spotted some children playing around in areas dangerously close to a place he was about to bomb and he sabotaged the mission and deserted afterwards. Nobody knows about the last one.

14. Does your character remember names or faces easier?

He’s a bit better at faces, mostly cause he tends to think most other people as not very important and he doesn’t bother memorising names, unless they’re like a target to him or unless he has a grudge or something.

24. How quick is your character to trust someone else?

Not very, unless you prove yourself early on, he’ll generally not trust people.

34. Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method?

He might try it once or twice if he thinks it didn’t work due to personal errors but he’s pretty quick at trying something else, he hates wasting time.

44. How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

I don’t think he remembers saying this at all >3>; It would be very hard. It’d be admitting both feelings and weaknesses and he’s not very good at expressing feelings at all or showing a more vulnerable side of himself.

3. What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?

Very good! His dad is/was a fisherman with a very positive attitude and who loves life, and they’ve always been on good terms. He was always a good example to him on how to be apart of a community.

13. Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?

Nope not at all, neither his, monster’s or other people’s. Of course he’ll be concerned at the loss of blood of any of his comrades or his own, but he’s used to it.

23. What does your character dislike in other people?

Selfishness, especially the kind that puts other people in danger (like hunting for personal glory and putting others in danger due to their own rashness.) People acting condescending also rubs him the wrong way.

33. In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?

A mix of self-deprecating and willing to improve. He’ll work on it, but he’ll definitely crack a few self-deprecating jokes when pointed out. He considers himself far from perfect and he’s pretty humble, so he’ll take criticism to heart.

43. Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?

The Moga village chief! Another person he looked up to and who gave him his current good attitude. “The best hunters smile.”

2. What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like?

He doesn’t have a mom so that’s a bit hard, so I’ll go with the technical closest…some of the kaminoan cloners, but he wasn’t particularely close to them. Whichever Jedi was there for his training would probably be closer, but I doubt they were allowed to feel too close to them.

12. In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?

The first time he decided to destroy a separatist ship from the inside. It was a desperate manoeuver he was ready to die for, but it worked out somehow and space battles/sabotage became his specialty and earn him his name.

22. What does your character like in other people?

Loyalty, respect, discipline, determination.

32. Describe a scenario in which your character feels most uncomfortable.

Anything that has to do with personal feelings or having to comfort someone, emotional closeness. He’s very clumsy at it, but he does try his best. He has reccurring nightmares and he’d rather talk about something else than try to explain it to his newest travel companion.

Order 66 is also something he’s very uncomfortable talking about for obvious reasons. 

42. Has your character ever had a parental figure who was not related to them?

His Jedi general, in a way. He didn’t see her as a mother figure or anything, but she always tried to include her Clones in her teachings to her padawan and was always there for them if they needed support.

Captain Rex was also someone he kind of admired and looked up to, even thought they didn’t cross paths that often.

1. What does your character typically keep in their pockets?

Brook keeps in his pockets: snacks for Bean, some lose bullets, a pouch of lightning dust, his swiss lighter, a die made from bone

30. What never gets old for your character? Something your character can’t get enough of?

Corzian can listen to poetry all day erry day Cal can, will and has marathoned every single "Ban Cade: Bounty Hunter" holofilm several times (there are 27)

37. What are some ways your character acts silly?

Yukiro loves silly chaotic snowball fights. He'll pretend to take them dead serious, but be way over the top about it. Also, very rarely he will mock someone who acts like a pompous ass by making kabuki movements behind their back. Hjalti has to canonball every time he's out swimming with others. The more people he splashes the better. For being a bun, he can make very big splashes.

59. What’s something your character has realized?

Brook has realised that there is a lot more to Duncan than the surface level yeehaw slut and he's feeling a little bad about having ribbed him so much before. MONK has realised he doesn't actually know HACKERMAN's real name and it bugs him a lil.

69. Journey or Destination?

Brook: He thinks it's the Destination, but it's actually the Journey Voi: Destination, but he isn't sure yet what it actually looks like Yukiro: Destination, but he wishes it was the Journey MONK: Journey all the way
