#HappyMayFirst Everybody! Only 16 more days until I make my exhibition show debut at the Rustic Barn Pub @rusticbarnpub for my concert photography show, "Rustic Barn Rocks: The Works of Amy Modesti & Upstairs Grand Opening". 7-11:00pm is the timing of the opening reception on 5/17/18, free and open to the public. My friend, Mark Richardson @m.rich68, will be hosting the open mike jam that will coincide with the art show and grand opening of the upstairs room that is renovated and ready for use for private parties, birthdays, etc! Be sure to check out the upstairs room, purchase some concert photos, & please feel free to sign up during the open mike jam to play some music! Happy November Tumblr Followers! Please read my blog post concerning my current exhibition show that I’m going to have at the Eden Advisory Services And Café in Loudonville, NY on Friday, December 15,2017. This photography show is going to feature select photos of local musicians/bands and touring artists that have traveled to the Capital Region and beyond.

#WaybackWednesday: Five months ago, my friends and I attended the 10th Anniversary open mike jam that was held at the Brunswick BBQ & Brew in Cropseyville,NY. The open mike jam was dedicated to my good friend and super music fan, Richard “Dick” Masters Quinn, who frequented the Brunswick BBQ & Brew to attend their open mike jams and came out to support and hear live music from many local bands that have performed at this venue and many other venues throughout the Capital Region. Today (11/28/2018) has been three years since my friend has passed away. I honored his life and his memory by gathering for lunch with his children and a close friend of ours at the Ale House. It was a nice day to remember the life and the impact that Dick had in the local music scene & beyond. To this day, I continue to be influenced by his love and drive for music by going out to the community to support my musician friends at their gigs and attend community events and other performances from other national acts with my close friends while documenting the great things that occur in our community!!
